The Feds Ready to Tax Marijuana

Well it didn't take long for the feds to move once a couple states decided to defy unconstitutional federal authority and legalize marijuana. Now the feds, who have been telling us for years how dangerous pot is as they justify their prohibition is now ready to tax it. Why am I not surprised?

An effort is building in Congress to change U.S. marijuana laws, including moves to legalize the industrial production of hemp and establish a hefty federal pot tax.

A hefty federal pot tax....

Yeah good luck. The stuff grows everywhere. Tobacco smokers have found ways around the federal government reaching into their pockets by growing their own and other methods. I think we know what the result will be here as well.

It is important to note something that Jefferson and Washington grew which later fell under federal prohibition is now being eyed useful after being called dangerous for taxation purposes.
