Southern Illinois Secession: South of 80 Needs to Become Southern Ilinois

It is time for the land south of Interstate 80 to break off from Illinois and form their own state. For far too long, the land south of Interstate 80 has been forced by Cook County to comply with their tyranny, high taxation, and loss of rights. Ask anyone living in Illinois living in Illinois south of 80, and you will hear contempt in their voices for Cook County and the policies that come from the Chicago liberals as their tax dollars are taken from the southern portion of the state and given to the northern part of the state.

I am from the land north of Interstate 80. I fled their five years ago seeing the loss of freedom coming from Cook County and placed upon the rest of the state. I began to learn there really is a divide in Illinois usually symbolic of I-80. The southern portion of Illinois is a slave to Chicago liberals. The southern portion of Illinois is the conservative evil step child of these Chicago liberals, and it is time to think about parting ways with the land north of 80.

They limit the firearms you can purchase and restrict gun ownership with their FOID cards in hopes Chicago can control its crimes while the rest of the state suffers from the gun grabbers in Illinois.

Chicago demands too much from the tax payers of Southern Illinois, and it is time to cut off funds to Cook County from the rest of the Illinois. It is time to stop big government from Springfield that redistributes wealth from South of 80 to North of 80.

It is time to break off and split the state in two. It is time Southern Illinois is represented in the Senate and rid itself from the moderates and liberals from Cook County who get elected.

It is time to form Southern Illinois.
