NASCAR Restrictor Plates Are Going to Kill Someone: Daytona 2013 Nationwide Crash

Here's the scene at Daytona International Speedway earlier today when 28 fans were injured in the final lap of the Nationwide race.



How long is it going to be until NASCAR figures out restrictor plates are going to get a fan killed? They hype up the big one during plate races knowing the restrictor plates cut the horsepower and cause the cars to race in huge packs to control the speeds. 14 of those 28 people went to the hospital. There is going to be a time when one of those fans don't come home from the hospital.
