Georgetown Produces Trash: Professor Wants to Kill Constitution

We already know Georgetown University produces trash. See Sandra Fluke. One Georgetown Professor says it is time to kill the Constitution once and for all.

Georgetown Law professor Louis Michael Seidman writes:

“As the nation teeters at the edge of fiscal chaos, observers are reaching the conclusion that the American system of government is broken,” Seidman wrote. “But almost no one blames the culprit: our insistence on obedience to the Constitution, with all its archaic, idiosyncratic and downright evil provisions.”

According to Seidman, the country’s insistence that it maintain the will of a centuries-old document “has saddled us with a dysfunctional political system, kept us from debating the merits of divisive issues and inflamed our public.”

So why doesn't this idiot leave?

I remind him what Thomas Jefferson said.

“If the book be false in its facts, disprove them; if false in its reasoning, refute it. But, for God's sake, let us freely hear both sides, if we choose.”

Seidman doesn't want both sides heard. He only wants his side heard and he is willing to destroy the very freedom that makes the United States great in order to get his way, much like a child.
