Do We Really Want American Mothers Who Are Trained to Kill?
It's a sad say in America. Gone are traditions of men going off to war to fight for the freedoms and rights of their family. The Department of Defense announced yesterday, women will now be sent to the front lines for combat. This does open up two very important questions that we need to think about.
First, do we really want mothers in America who are trained to kill?
Secondly, a mother's gentleness and understanding provides balance in the family as the dad takes on the more logical role of parenting as the main provider. Do we want to upset that balance as post traumatic stress syndrome occurs in mothers fresh from combat? What effect will this have on the mother child relationship as well?
There are just too many questions our government has failed to answer as they rush to put women on the front lines. It's not like our enemies are rushing to do this and national security isn't as such where there is a shortage of men at this time. Why are they rushing into this?
Women are far more emotional and logical, and this will play out on the battlefield and beyond when they come home.
I wonder what kind of father sends his daughter off to march in Obama's army with an M-16 on the front line. I know if I had kids, I would do everything to keep my daughter from going in that direction.
