Ozark, Missouri Police Continue to Disrespect Taxpayers

Police Chief Lyle Hodges has proven not to be the smartest man with taxpayer dollars in the past. You may remember he attempted to modernize the police record system with a computer software system the city of Ozark spent over $30,000 on only to stop using the system a couple of months later.

Now with gas prices closing in on the $4 a gallon mark, it seems Ozark Police Department can't buy enough SUVs to patrol the streets in. Ozark residents may have seen the new SUV with Ozark PD's new paint scheme, especially if you have been near James River Assembly where half the police force drives these things to direct traffic on Sundays and for other JRA events. By the way, one officer was seen text messaging while directing traffic at James River. Way to set the example boys! Safety first right?

So here we are in Ozark in a mild climate that sees little snow and where within the city limits really doesn't require a rugged vehicle. Ozark isn't a mountain town despite these hills being called the Ozark Mountains. With gas prices reaching all time highs, apparently Cheif Hodges believes it's a necessary thing to keep patrolling in SUVs rather than squad cars which would get better gas mileage and save taxpayer dollars.

This is poor judgement on the part of the Ozark Police Department and City Hall. Why do we need so many SUVs in our police force? We don't.

Branson Tea Party Coalition Disappointed in Billy Long's Tea Party Comments

Eric Farris of the Branson Tea Party Coalition expressed his disappointment over a comment Congressman Billy Long made in the Springfield News-Leader today.

Long told the News-Leader:

Long said he still identifies with some of the ideals of the Tea Party, such as cutting spending and rolling back the size of the government. But he also characterized himself as a pragmatic conservative who has worked with the White House, Democrats and Republicans to reach compromises on a number of issues, such as trade agreements for South Korea, Panama and Colombia.

“Pragmatism weighs in there heavily, in that knowing what you can get done,” he said.

Farris posted on Facebook:

Branson Tea Party Coalition Watchdog Alert: GOP Congressman Billy Long (MO-7) has distanced himself from the Tea Party Movement saying that he now only agrees with "some of the ideals of Tea Party".

So much for his statement when he ran for office in 2010 that he was "Tea Party before Tea Party was cool" now that he is so popular with the RINO Establishment. Clearly, he is no longer "Fed Up" with Big Government now that he is a part of it.

Springfield News-Leader: Billy Long Lying About Debates After Jim Evans Challenges Congressman

The Springfield News-Leader has an interesting claim from Billy Long. In receiving debate challenges from Jim Evans, Congressman Billy Long convinces the News-Leader he never debated two years ago.

From the News-Leader:

Long noted he didn’t agree to debates during his primary race this summer either. Long also refused to debate Democrat Scott Eckersley in 2010.

Actually, I don't know how anyone in the news media or close to politics in Springfield could forget Billy Long's debate with Scott Eckersley. Long knows damn well he agreed to debates with Eckersely because that is when Eckersley began accusing Long of inappropriate behavior with Jennifer Case including Long being infamous for telling racist jokes. The story of Congressman Long's bad behavior even reached England.

We know that exchange in the debate against Eckersley led to this controversial commercial against Long after the Fuse Joplin broke the Jennifer Case story.

Here's Billy Long in a debate against Scott Eckersley where Long mentions "there's lots of things about" Obamacare "that are good".

Hey Tera, Billy Long Distances Himself From the Tea Party

Tera Sukman should remove Billy Long's signs from her Tea Party Patriot HQ's windows after Billy's latest admission. Long once said he was "Tea Party before Tea Party was cool." Now it appears Billy is in too deep with the establishment and has begun distancing himself from the Tea Party.

Today's News Leader notes Long's opposition Jim Evans challenges to debate Congressman Long has gone without Billy agreeing to debate. No surprise there. When Evans tries to make Long the face of the Tea Party, Billy doesn't defend the Tea Party or his previous claims he was "Tea Party before Tea Party was cool." No, instead Congressman Long distances himself from the Tea Party.

From the Springfield News-Leader:

In his 7th District bid, Evans is ostensibly launching a campaign against members of Congress affiliated with the Tea Party, which he characterizes as being ideologically motivated and obstructionist.

Here's Billy distancing himself from the Tea Party.

The foundation of the Tea Party is in its most basic form is a return to Constitutional limited government. Obviously, Congressman Long doesn't want to be inconvenienced with the limits the Constitution puts on his job anymore. I bet he no longer walks around with his "rode hard and put up wet" pocket Constitution either.

Mr. Long, I doubt Mr. Jefferson or Mr. Madison would accept your pathetic excuse of pragmatism. Here's more proof Billy Long has become Washington as he throws the Tea Party under the bus.

Tera should be outraged, but she will probably post more Billy Long campaign signs to her windows.

Romney/Obama Condoms: Either Way You're Screwed

The Mitt Romney condoms are great for any position. Too funny!

Hewlett Packard Sending More American Jobs to India and the Phillipines

Friends of mine who work in a Springfield, Missouri, call center got the word earlier this week. Come January, they will no longer be providing notebook support for Hewlett Packard. These American jobs will be sent to Asia, while HP and Compaq customers suffer the language barrier and quality not evident in the Springfield call center.

HP can pay Asian workers pennies on the dollar compared to the minimal pay they were paying support reps in Springfield. All the while, HP obviously doesn't worry about American who helped build their company to one of the largest electronics companies in the United States.

So as Americans, who millions are struggling to find jobs right now, let's send a message to HP. We have computer alternatives like our independent computer stores located in small towns and major cities that build their own computers while supporting and reparing them.

It's time to send companies to HP that an investment in American jobs are important and we can vote with our pocketbooks. It's time fire HP and hire the local guy.

Goodbye HP.

Claire McCaskill Wants to Take Obamaphone Lady's Phone Away

While Claire McCaskill attacks Todd Akin for his comments on Social Security and Medicare--federal entitlement programs--it appears McCaskill is hoping to make changes to other entitlements. In fact, I think it is safe to say Senator McCaskill wants to take Obamaphone Lady's cell phone away.

McCaskill has led the fight to reform the "Lifeline"program from abusers like Obamacare lady. Obamacare lady got the time to go protest big government liberal Mitt Romney, but she ain't got no time to get a J.O.B. and pay for her own cell phone.

A government run cell phone program, ripe for fraud, has caught the attention of oversight advocate U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill who is seeking answers to questions about rampant abuse and waste in the program-and in a letter to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), McCaskill outlines steps she is taking to stop the fraud in its tracks.

"I remain troubled by the expansive potential for the program to be abused, especially since Americans contribute to the program through their monthly phone bills," McCaskill wrote in a letter to the FCC.  "The current requirements to determine eligibility often do not require customer documentation for participation in Lifeline, which may result in individuals receiving phones who should not be."

Oh Claire, if only you cared as much about all those politicians who have squandered the money we were forced to pay into a Social Security and Medicare account...

You are on the right track with the phone issue Senator McCaskill, but you continue to promote the other big government fraud entitlement programs that continue to redistribute wealth.

Liberals Claiming Obamaphone Woman is Mentally Ill

Liberals are foolish in their arguments. Rather than look to the origins of the Obamaphone, the federally subsidized cell phone now made famous by Obamaphone lady...

They seem to be making an easier argument rather than doing their homework. Obamaphone lady is (probably) mentally ill according to one liberal blogger who claims they know the truth behind Obamaphone lady.

Conservatives are in full-on freak out mode over the “Obama Phone ” lady, who is obviously representative of all Democratic voters. The video depicts a possibly (well, probably – and shame on them for exploiting her) mentally ill black woman endorsing her favorite presidential candidate, Barack Obama, because, she says, he gave her a free phone. Rush Limbaugh has got this woman’s number:

Probably mentally ill.... That's the argument to defend this nearly $2 billion subsidy that gives cell phones to people who don't want to go get a job?

Had this liberal blogger decided to do their homework rather than jump to the mentally ill conclusion without providing proof, this liberal blogger would have discovered the "Lifeline" phone subsidy was signed into law in 1984 with Reagan in the White House and Republicans in control of the Senate. It was expanded in 2008 with Democrats in control of Congress and George W. Bush in the White House.

Really all Obama had to do with this was ensure more people fell into poverty so they qualify for their Obamaphone.

Obamaphone Lady Probably Should be Thanking Ronald Reagan for Free Cell Phone

The viral video of the day shows a crazed black woman supporting Barack Obama because Obama gave her a cell phone.

While I am not going to argue, poverty has risen under Obama making it possible for more people to enjoy this drug called a federally subsidized cell phone, Obama probably shouldn't get all the credit.

The program that enables this woman to sit on her ass all day and do nothing while getting a free federally subsidized cell phone with minutes included is called "Lifeline" and is commonly referred to as the "Telephone Assistance Program" or "TAP" for short. Lifeline started in 1984.

Which means other than seeing to it more people are living in poverty under Barack Obama than at any other time in American history, Obama had little to do with the Lifeline program.

It also means that a Democratic House combined with a Republican Senate put this new federal entitlement on the desk of Ronald Reagan to sign. That's right, this lady should be thanking the Gipper for this handout and not Obama. I hate to say it.

Obamaphones For All the Lazy!: Viral Video of the the 2012 Peggy Joseph

I'm votin' for Obama cause he give me a new cell phone and pay for my minutes so I can talk smack. Romney be takin' my government paid cell phone away. He sucks!

Good grief the federal education system in this country has been a success at keeping the masses ignorant! Let's play the Obamaphone song.

video

It appears this blithering idiot proud she gets a free cell phone from the federal government is proof Peggy Jospeh's spirit is alive and well in 2012.

Last year the redistribution of wealth scheme now known as Obamaphone cost taxpayers over $1.6 billion last year.

Billy Long Frustrated He Can't Spend a Trillion Dollars Fast Enough While Others Are Campaigning: Billy's Farmville is BIg Corporate Farms, Not the Family Farmer

Billy Long just can't wait to spend nearly a trillion dollars on a bill that will increase food stamp usage while helping Monsanto and other Big Agra grow bigger. The News-Leader points out Billy Long is upset that his colleagues are out campaigning rather than spending. Yes, Big Government Billy is fed up that Washington isn't spending money they don't have right now.

Busplunge notes Long, who claimed he would fight to end farm subsidies in 2010 has performed a Mitt Romney flip flop and is now supporting farm subsidies.

In today's News-Leader editorial: Farm Bill leaves food states hanging while candidates campaign.  "On a recent visit with the News-Leader Editorial Board, U.S. Rep. Billy Long expressed his frustration with the House’s failure to pass a farm bill."

The current farm law, which extends subsidy payments to farmers and pays for food stamps, is scheduled to expire Sept. 30, with no new law in place for the first time in recent memory.

The editorial notes Billy Long expressed his frustration with the House’s failure to pass a farm bill: "To be fair, our local representatives have spoken out in support of getting a farm bill. Long, R-Springfield, noted what every farmer knows — farmers need a five-year bill to “provide certainty to the agriculture community.”

The farm bill Billy Long supports will lead to nearly $1 trillion in new federal spending over the next decade . Unbelievable for a man who once claimed he was fed up with runaway spending. It should be no surprise though when you look at who contributes to his campaign--companies like Monsanto, because Big Agra and not the small Southwest Missouri farmer will benefit the most from Long's push for the new farm bill. The bill will ensure GMO foods are never labeled so you know what you are really eating.

Nick Fiore writes:

Big Ag has not been shy about leveraging its profits into increased political influence that maintains the status quo. In 2008, the last time the Farm Bill was up for reauthorization, big agribusinesses spent $178 million on lobbying and campaign contributions to protect their subsidies.

As a result, the Farm Bill disproportionately subsidizes the large mature agribusinesses who take advantage of taxpayer dollars. Of the $277 billion spent on agricultural subsidies since 1995, 75 percent of the total went to just 3.8 percent of U.S. farmers, skewed towards the largest farms — not small family farms.

Another part of the farm bill is proving Congressman Long soft on reversing the size of the welfare state. The National Review reports how the farm bill increases the federal food stamp program.

Eighty percent of the spending in the bill is devoted to food stamps, known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. When the food-stamp program was first expanded nationally in the 1970s, just 1 in 50 Americans participated. Today, one in seven Americans receive $134 each month, at a monthly cost of more than $6 billion. This bipartisan farm bill would help make these high levels of dependency permanent.

You would think Congressman Billy Long, who ran as the "fed up with Washington" candidate would have the common sense to see what the farm bill is really about. Apparently, he doesn't. It's never been about cutting Washington spending for ol' Billy. It's simply pandering to keep his job in the middle of the worst real estate crisis of his lifetime--which inspired Long's vocational change.

You see, Long's support of the farm bill breaks a campaign promise Long made to end unconstitutional farm subsidies.

The Fuse Joplin reported that in a pledge Long made to the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste, Long targeted farm subsidies to be cut.

Long also said ‘yes’ to ending agriculture subsidies. “Our food supply is important and should be able to operate in a free market without the distortions of government’s politically motivated subsidies,” Long wrote.

Apparently, Congressman Long no longer believes in the free markets. The farm bill promises over $22 billion in farm subsidies. This is money taxpayers pay that often farmers collect after agreeing not to plant seeds for a certain crop. Think of it as welfare for farmers to sit around and do nothing. However, it's not the family farmer who is getting paid most of the time. It's the large corporate farms that are stuffing their pockets with our tax dollars.

The Examiner writes:

Farm subsidies tend to flow toward the largest and wealthiest farm businesses. According to the Environmental Working Group database, in 2010, 10 percent of farms received 74 percent of all subsidies. These recipients are large commercial farms with more than $250,000 in sales and mostly produced crops tied to political interests.

Yes it appears Billy Long doesn't have small family farms in his best interest. Rather it looks like Billy Long is helping pad the pockets of Big Agra--the same people donating to his campaign.

Interesting that Billy Long can't spent a trillion dollars fast enough to help those who contributed to his campaign.

Obama and Romney Equals Insanity

Chuck Baldwin has an excellent commentary about why phony conservatives are dangerous.

I believe Albert Einstein is credited with saying, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Using that definition, it would appear that many of our so-called "conservative" friends are insane. Every four years, they accept a phony conservative Presidential candidate and expect somehow that they are going to achieve a different result. They never do. Either the phony conservative loses because he is virtually indistinguishable from his Democrat opponent (i.e., John McCain), or after being elected while campaigning as a true conservative, he governs as a big-government neocon, and the course of the country changes not one iota (i.e., George W. Bush). This election year is no exception.

The GOP has nominated a man who has governed as a big-government liberal in one of the most liberal (if not the most liberal) states in the union: Governor Mitt Romney of Massachusetts. Furthermore, on virtually every issue one can think of, Governor Romney has flip-flopped more often than a fish that just landed in the bottom of a boat. To get a feel for just how often Romney changes his positions, watch this video.

If Mitt Romney has proven anything, it is that his word means absolutely nothing. Nothing! Romney is an opportunistic chameleon who will say anything or do anything to get elected. Yet, this is the man whom conservatives trumpet as the savior of America! Why? He is a Republican, and, therefore, he must be better than the Democrat. In short, Mitt Romney is the lesser of two evils. But is he really?

First, the short-sighted, narrow-minded thinking of party loyalists (Republican and Democrat) demonstrates what can only be regarded as a slave mentality. People who vote nothing but party label are in truth already slaves. They are slaves to an elitist establishment that uses the machinery of the two major parties (at the national level) to advance a diabolical globalist agenda. That's why it doesn't matter to a tinker's dam whether it's Bill Clinton or G.W. Bush--or Barack Obama or Mitt Romney--who is elected President: nothing changes the march towards globalism and oppression. At the top, both major parties are controlled by globalists.

For the sake of those who truly respect America's founders and the principles upon which this nation was founded, I would encourage readers to familiarize themselves with George Washington's Farewell Address. In my opinion, Washington's Farewell Address is the greatest political speech ever delivered in US history. It literally shaped the course and direction of the country for decades, perhaps even a century. It really was not until the Twentieth Century, when presidents such as Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt came along, that America started steering a course in direct opposition to the principles laid forth in Washington's Farewell Address. Since then, the vast majority of presidents, Republican and Democrat, have almost universally ignored the sagacity of Washington's Farewell Address, which is why nothing has changed regardless of which party gains the White House.
In his Farewell Address, George Washington said, "I have already intimated to you the danger of parties in the State, with particular reference to the founding of them on geographical discriminations. Let me now take a more comprehensive view, and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party generally.
"This spirit, unfortunately, is inseparable from our nature, having its root in the strongest passions of the human mind. It exists under different shapes in all governments, more or less stifled, controlled, or repressed; but, in those of the popular form, it is seen in its greatest rankness, and is truly their worst enemy.

"The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty.
"Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight), the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.

"It serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. It agitates the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms, kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which finds a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another.

"There is an opinion that parties in free countries are useful checks upon the administration of the government and serve to keep alive the spirit of liberty. This within certain limits is probably true; and in governments of a monarchical cast, patriotism may look with indulgence, if not with favor, upon the spirit of party. But in those of the popular character, in governments purely elective, it is a spirit not to be encouraged. From their natural tendency, it is certain there will always be enough of that spirit for every salutary purpose. And there being constant danger of excess, the effort ought to be by force of public opinion, to mitigate and assuage it. A fire not to be quenched, it demands a uniform vigilance to prevent its bursting into a flame, lest, instead of warming, it should consume."

Notice that George Washington said the "spirit of party" has "baneful effects" upon the country; it is our "worst enemy"; it is a "frightful despotism"; it prevails on the "ruins of public liberty"; it "foments riot and insurrection"; it "opens the door to foreign influence and corruption"; people should "discourage and restrain it"; it "agitates... false alarms"; and, like a fire, if it is not quenched, it will "consume."

Are we not seeing, and have we not seen, the veracity of Washington's warnings? People who only see and vote for a party label are more responsible for the demise and deterioration of our liberties than any foreign enemy. For them to accept and support any candidate, as long as they wear the party label regardless how unethical, dishonest, duplicitous, and insensitive to constitutional government they might be, is what has brought America to the precipice of destruction over which she now teeters.

Second, how can a person who has succumbed to evil have the discernment to say which evil is greater? When people consciously surrender the spirit of virtue and integrity by deliberately supporting a candidate they know has a track record that is antithetical to the principles of liberty, how are they qualified to judge what is good and what is evil? By knowingly rejecting truth and a good conscience, they have already accepted the spirit of evil in their hearts. Such people are in no condition to make moral judgments regarding good and evil!

In fact, one could make a darn good argument (and many have) that a phony conservative Republican is a worse evil than a true liberal Democrat. I, for one, share that position. I think only the most biased historian would dare to say that the eight years of Bill Clinton were worse than the eight years of George W. Bush.

One reason why phony conservative Republicans are so dangerous to our liberties is because most conservatives, Christians, and constitutionalists refuse to resist and challenge a Republican President when he abandons the principles of constitutional government. Since he is a Republican, he gets a free pass.

At this juncture, I invite reads to watch the following summary of Barack Obama and Mitt Romney by Dr. Alan Keyes. Having received a Ph.D. from Harvard University and having served as Ambassador to the United Nations under President Ronald Reagan, Keyes is no slouch. Without a doubt, Alan Keyes has one of the sharpest minds and most articulate tongues in the entire country. Listen to his response to the question, "Will you support Mitt Romney?" See the video.

On virtually every salient issue, the differences between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama are miniscule. They both supported TARP; they both supported Obama's economic stimulus package; they both supported so-called assault weapons bans and other gun control measures; they both supported the bailout of the auto industry; neither of them supports immediately balancing the federal budget; they both have a track record of being big spenders; they both fully support the Federal Reserve; they both oppose a full audit of the Fed; they are both supporters of universal health care; both men are showered with campaign contributions from Wall Street; neither of them wants to eliminate the IRS or the direct income tax; both men are on record as saying the TSA is doing a "great job"; they both supported the NDAA, including the indefinite detention of American citizens without due process of law; they both supported the renewal of the Patriot Act; they both support the "free trade" agenda of the global elite; they are both soft on illegal immigration; they both have a history of appointing liberal judges; they both believe the President has the authority to take the nation to war without the approval of Congress; and neither of them has any qualms about running up more public debt to the already gargantuan debt of 16 trillion dollars.

Tell me again why Romney is better than Obama!

There are even some party slaves who are so brazen as to suggest that if we do not vote for the phony conservative Mitt Romney it means that we are harming true conservatives at the local and State levels. This has to be one of the most ridiculous assertions I have ever heard! What these people don't understand (because they are themselves slaves to a political party) is that most honest constitutionalists vote for the PERSON, not the party. We recognize that parties are not going to make a difference; PEOPLE are going to make a difference!

Therefore, if I lived in the Houston, Texas, area, I would vote for Republican US House candidate Steve Stockman; and if I lived in the Nashville, Tennessee, area, I would vote for Democrat US Senate candidate Mark Clayton. And since I live in the Flathead Valley of Montana, I am supporting Republican State Representative candidate Timothy Baldwin (yes, he is my youngest son); and if he were running again, I would support former Constitution Party State House member Rick Jore.

If anything, Mitt Romney will have the most deleterious impact upon conservative Republican candidates around the country, as they will be thrust into the big-government shadow of their party's standard bearer. Republican landslides came in 1980 when a perceived strong conservative (Ronald Reagan) carried the GOP torch for President and in 1994 when the GOP promoted (but later failed to deliver) a strong conservative congressional agenda. It is when Republicans nominate known pseudo-conservatives, such as John McCain (and now Mitt Romney), that they fail to achieve sizeable victories nationwide. So, even if Romney wins, he will provide no coattails for his fellow Republicans around the country.

And by the way, neither will Obama provide any coattails for his fellow Democrats should he win. By continuing and expanding Bush's wars in the Middle East (among other things), Obama has turned off millions of independents and constitutionally-minded Democrats. It is literally an every-man-for-himself election year.

It's too bad that Ron Paul is not running as an Independent. It would be a tremendously interesting election if he were.

So, here we are again: conservatives keep doing the same thing over and over (supporting a pseudo-conservative for President) and keep expecting a different result. Einstein was right: this is insanity!

A Sad Statistic About Drone Use in America: Most Americans Don't Care

Here's a sad statement about Americans to add to the growing list. When it comes to government violating their privacy and using drones to spy on them or whatever else the government will do with them, just over 1/3 of all Americans show any concern.

CBS reports:

More than a third of Americans worry their privacy will suffer if drones like those used to spy on U.S. enemies overseas become the latest police tool for tracking suspected criminals at home, according to an Associated Press-National Constitution Center poll.

Congress has directed the Federal Aviation Administration to come up with safety regulations that will clear the way for routine domestic use of unmanned aircraft within the next three years. The government is under pressure from a wide range of interests to open U.S. skies to drones.

Ed Martin Lying About Attorney General Debate in Missouri

Ed Martin is a Republican of questionable character. You may remember he was front and center in the scandal that rocked Matt Blunt's four years as Missouri governor, which Scott Eckersley blew the whistle.

It appears dishonest Martin is at it again lying about the Attorney General debates.

Ed Martin Republican candidate for Attorney General has issued a statement that Chris Koster is ducking debates. This is a baldfaced lie. Since mid-August the Missouri Bar has offered the Attorney General Candidatates a debate form before their legal peers and the press. Democrat Chris Koster accepted. the Libertarian Dave Browning accepted. Republican Ed Martin, who accuses his opponents of ducking debated, has refused.

Hey Claire McCaskill, Let's Talk the Constituion and Your Todd Akin Calendar Commercial

Claire McCaskill brings up an interesting word in her latest attack ad against Todd Akin...

"Constitutional"

McCaskill is counting on Missourian's ignorance in her attack on Congressman Akin. I would like to challenge McCaskill to defend her commercial using the Constitution.

In Claire's latest ad called "Calendar", she takes quotes from Todd Akin hoping you won't figure out she is really saying she supports big unconstitutional government in reality is based on socialism and not respect for the founding fathers and the Constitution.

Because as she asks what Todd Akin will say next, she clearly is taking the path of supporting socialism from Washington.

Take a look...

If you know the Constitution, you will know there is no Constitutional basis for Claire's attack. It's all based on a disregard for the Constitution, even though Claire will claim the General Welfare Clause gives her great elastic powers as a US Senator to provide socialist welfare programs, healthcare, and retirement plans like she did at a Springfield, Missouri, town hall meeting. I doubt Claire has ever read Federalist 41 which defines the General Welfare, and James Madison wasn't talking about creating little dependent piglets to suck off the federal teat.

Let's fight this one for Todd Akin and challenge Senator McCaskill to defend her commercial using the Constitution she swore to uphold.

On March 18, Todd Akin says he doesn't like Social Security. Ask Senator McCaskill what gives Congress the authority to run the greatest ponzi scheme ever created. Remember Bernie Madoff went to jail for running a ponzi scheme, but Claire McCaskill gets a free pass. A ponzi scheme is something where the people on top get rewarded while the people on the bottom pay in with the promise of reward in the future. Of course we all know this thing is about to crash and the people at the bottom will never see a return on their investment. The Constitution gives the federal government no power to force Americans into a retirement plan, and soon my generation of Americans will realize the thousands of dollars they paid in will never been seen again as the system crashes. McCaskill has shown little concern about this as she has recklessly approves some of the largest spending bills like Obama's stimulus that puts further strain in the federal government's ability to pay out Social Security benefits.

On September 3, Todd Akin says Medicare is unconstitutional. Prove him wrong Claire without distorting the General Welfare clause. You can't. The government doesn't have the power to run socialist healthcare programs Claire. If you need proof, I refer you back to Federalist 41. This is another redistribution of wealth ponzi scheme run by the government as well.

On March 16, Todd Akin said abolish the minimum wage. This is another socialist idea that Senator McCaskill has embraced. The Constitution gives the federal government no power to regulate wages within a state. Yet, Claire doesn't take her oath very seriously as she attacks Akin on this one.

The minimum wage was a part of the Socialist Party of American platform long before Democrats followed, as they usually do in these matters. It goes along with Karl Marx's "To each according to his needs, from each according to his ability." Minimum wage ignores ability and is a tool Democrats use to create class warfare arguing for the needs. This goes along with Marx since Marx believed in the idea that no one greater skill should be looked upon by society as more value over the collective.

On April 21, Todd Akin said we need to eliminate student loans. The Constitution gives Congress no power to regulate education. It is left up to the states through the 10th Amendment. Yet Claire ignores this and believes the federal government's trap for students that exchanges an education for massive amounts of debt is good policy. It's not.

The federal student loan program has driven up the cost of education by placing more money in the market so schools can justify raising their tuition. This in turn reduces the quality of education by removing quality through the competitive spirit that schools would be forced to deal with if students didn't have easy money available to them.

Article One Section Eight in the Constitution lists 18 powers of Congress. They are known as the enumerated powers. In those 18 powers, there isn't the power to regulate loans to students, there is no power to supply a retirement plan through the forced confiscation of wealth from the IRS's gun, there is no power to run socialist healthcare ponzi schemes, nor is their the power to regulate the minimum wage.

Todd Akin is right on all these issues mentioned above. I am sure Claire McCaskill thanks God every night the federal public school systems no longer teach the Constitution so she can get away with these attacks knowing that most Missourian's will never realize the words Social Security, Medicare, student loans, and minimum wage are never mentioned in the Constitution nor are they powers of Congress. It's sad Claire McCaskill doesn't take her oath a little more seriously. She should be impeached for her total disregard for her oath. Of course Todd Akin should too with his vote for the Patriot Act which violates the Fourth Amendment and his vote for the NDAA with it's indefinite detainment language that ignores due process laws guaranteed in the Bill of Rights.

The Romney Monsanto Connection: Romney Helped Reinvent Monsanto into a Healthy Poison Company

The latest farm bill in Congress is nothing more than corporate welfare combined with social welfare. Not only does it increase funding for food stamps, it also ensures big agra like Monsanto is well funded with your tax dollars. The small family farmer will see little benefit in this trillion dollar big government extravaganza pushed by Republicans like Billy Long.

Natural News writes how Monsanto became a controversial chemical company that produced Agent Orange to it's arrival on your dinner table thanks to Mitt Romney.

One year before Mitt Romney began working on the Bain & Company project to rebuild “Monsanto” and cast their new image and focus on agriculture biotechnology, Congress passed a bill banning PCB (polychlorinated biphenyl), an odorless, tasteless, clear liquid known to cause cancer that was the “bread and butter” of Monsanto’s profits. Monsanto was already branded and plagued with the label of having created the “Agent Orange” contaminated dioxins used in Vietnam. Now Monsanto would need a big save, financially and reputation-wise, so they could fool the public with their new image and a new “frontier,” while secretly polluting and genetically modifying American agriculture with the new faceless poison known as Roundup.

Romney knew his first job at Bain was to propel an evil company that was on the brink of failure. He knew Monsanto’s previous reputation and about all the litigation. Romney also knew he would be rewarded financially in the biggest way if he could pull the whole thing off, and he did. Romney changed Monsanto’s image over the years, from a scandal ridden chemical giant to a seemingly “prestigious” Agri-business firm. (http://dprogram.net)

Here in Missouri, an entire town was evacuated and declared unsafe thanks to Monsanto. You may remember shortly after Mitt Romney began going to work on Monsanto's image that Times Beach, Missouri, a town just west of St. Louis along Interstate 44, was contaminated with heavy amounts of dioxin thanks to Monsanto. It took the state of Missouri and the EPA 11 years to declare Times Beach unsafe to live in after Monsanto polluted the town with Dioxin and taxpayers were left to pay for the evacuation and cleanup. Monsanto's work led to mental dysfunctions and immune system disorders have been found in chil-dren from the area. It turns out Mitt Romney's job was to reinvent Monsanto and put a happy face on the company.

Of course Monsanto is the company now that is modifying our food, genetically modifying crops to soak up large amounts of the poisonous round up and other pesticides without destroying the crops. Their legal team eagerly goes out to non-Monsanto fields where genetic pollution blows pollen from Monsanto fields to non-Monsanto fields, thus changing the genetic makeup of the crops and then proceed in costly legal proceedings against honest farmers whose the victim of the wind.

Monsanto should be out of business, but thanks to Mitt Romney overlooking their unethical business practices for his own gain, they are one of the most powerful companies around today. This isn't a testament of business success. It's a testament of evil considering Monsanto's history.

Newt Offers Mitt for Brains Debate Advice

Newt Gingrich didn't fair well in the Republican primary. Things got so bad for Newt that one debate he participated the press went after Newt for suggesting to his ex wife he wanted an open marriage and for her to participate in a threesome.

Now Gingrich wants to advise Mitt for Brains on how to debate.

Newt's advice: Relax and be prepared
I tell the stories to make the point that too much debate preparation is cognitive, fact-filled, rational and focused on verbal game playing.
The most important aspect of a debate is how you feel.
Mike Deaver, the great media adviser to President Reagan, used to assert that television is 85 percent visual, 10 percent how you sound and 5 percent what you say.
In every Presidential debate I participated in I always remembered Deaver's rule.
More important than what Romney knows is how he feels.
Is he confident?
Is he relaxed?
Is he in command of himself?
Can he stand up to both the media and the president?
These body language issues are far more important than the specific things he says.
Be assertive and be on offense against both Obama and his media
You can be on offense without being offensive.
The strongest reactions I got to my debates came from people who were desperate for someone to stand up to the media and redefine the questions and reframe the assumptions.
Americans are sick and tired of the unending liberalism and suffocating groupthink of the elite media.
If you look at my strongest applause lines virtually every one was taking on the media.
It is inevitable the media will ask Romney about "the 47 percent." Instead of answering it, Romney should pivot and say, "Let me tell you about the 100 percent. Obama has failed the 100 percent who have to buy gasoline. Obama has failed the 100 percent who will be paying interest on the Obama national debt for the rest of their lives. Obama has failed 100 percent of those who want to get a job and move on with their lives. Obama has failed everyone in the Middle East who had hoped the Arab Spring would lead to freedom by allowing it to turn into an Islamist winter."
The country would be electrified.
Be honest
There are things Romney has done wrong.
Admit it.
There are things he would like to do better.
Admit it.
People can smell dishonesty and disingenuous efforts to sell or hide.
Use humor
Reagan and Kennedy both had this wonderful knack of using humor to make points.
President Obama is a detached, often stiff person who overestimates his competence (the next time you see a story on the Middle East remember he got a Nobel Peace Prize for having done nothing).
No president in my lifetime has been as vulnerable to humor as President Obama.

Missouri Republican Governor Candidate Dave Spence Took $40 Million in TARP

Missourians had a chance to nominate a good conservative Republican for governor in Bill Randles. Instead, they decided on a big government idiot who took advantage of American taxpayers. Dave Spence is running for governor of Missouri as a Republican. This Republican sat on the board of a bank who voted not to give back $40 million in TARP back to the taxpayers.

Despicable!

Andy Williams: Entertainer and Tea Party Member Dies in Branson

Andy Williams announced last year the Christmas shows would be his last. He was dying of cancer. He was an icon in Branson whose career spans way back. There may be something you don't know about Andy Williams. He was also a member of the Tea Party.

Williams attended two Branson Tea Party events. Eric Farris, one of the Branson Tea Party leaders, had the pleasure of introducing Andy Williams at one of the Branson Tea Party rallies. Farris recalls a conversation he had with the entertainer.

"From our conversations, I can share that Andy was deeply concerned about the direction of our Republic and was a supporter of the fight for our freedom and liberty," stated Farris.

Other members of the Branson Tea Party and community recall Williams kindness today.

One of my best friends from the Branson area recently picked up three starving dogs from a backroad and took them to a vet. After treatment of mange, worms, spaying, and neutering along with other items he feared the bill to come as he is not a wealthy man.

$750!

On the receipt : paid in full, Andy Williams

He will be missed.

Mitt Romney: How Much of That $800 Million Stimulus Did You Get

“His plan is another stimulus, how’d that first one go?” Romney quipped. “About $800 billion, how much of that did you get? Other than cash-for-clunkers?”

I know many of Romney's Republican buddies like Roy Blunt voted in favor of Cash for Clunkers. Forgetting that, is Romney suggesting that a stimulus be given directly to Americans? You know borrow money from the Chinese and hand it out like the Jack Nicholson Joker on a float at the end of the first Batman movie starting Michael Keaton?

Rather than just condemn the stimulus, it appears to me Mitt Romney is suggesting class warfare here to some degree. Look the rich got stimulus money and you didn't. Isn't that the message.

Hasn't Romney himself through Bain Capital benefited from federal dollars and bailouts?

I don't think Romney's choice of words are wise here. He is playing the same game Democrats play.

The Reason Republicans Are Throwing Election 2012

It's not even October 2012 and talk is 2016. You can see the Republican establishment looking at the next in line like John McCain and Mitt Romney before. Jeb Bush appears to be the next in line as a Bush/Clinton battle appears to be shaping up as it appears reading the pundits the Republican establishment and the Romney campaign are already waving the white flag.

I ask did Republicans ever really want to win 2012. Week after week we saw Romney stall in the Republican primary polls, and yet the Republican establishment played dirty to ensure his victory. Romney couldn't close the deal and the height of the dirty tricks include alienating large blocks of conservative voters while ensuring things like Herman Cain's bimbos made headlines.

Did it make any sense? In a year where Obamacare should have been enough to drive conservatives to the polls to create a landslide against the worst president of our lifetime, Barack Obama, the establishment pushed Romney upon us--the man who inspired Obamacare.

If you look closely whether it be Romney or Congressmen like Billy Long, Republicans have a lot of praise for elements of Obamacare.

Even last week Romney admitted it was a compliment to be called the "grandfather of Obamacare". Billy Long and Romney's words are not the words of people who are angry with Obamacare. You don't praise this monstrosity of big government, and yet the Republicans continue to praise parts of it. Why?

Perhaps, Republicans never wanted to repeal it. Losing in 2012 gives them cover. "We tried. We really tried to repeal Obamacare."

Remember, in 1994, the Republicans working with The Heritage Foundation came up with the blueprint for Romneycare/Obamacare as an alternative to Hillarycare. Hillarycare lost while many years later the Republican party got their wishes to centrally manage your healthcare. The Republicans in reality won the healthcare debate by forcing Obama to push the Republican 1994 plan.

Could it be the Republicans don't want to win 2012 so they don't have to repeal their own healthcare plan given the moniker "Obamacare"? If they lose, they can point fingers while still enjoying the power and money Obamacare delivers to Washington. This is the reality of the situation, especially when you consider how easily Barack Obama should be to beat in a massive landslide. Yet, the Republican establishment managed to get the babbling idiot who just so happen ran the pilot program for Obamacare as their nominee, and he continues to fall in the polls week after week.

I have predicted this before, and let me close by stating again. In ten to 20 years as Democrats come up with the next step of the healthcare takeover, the single payer system, it will be Republicans kicking and screaming demanding we must save Obamacare. We know this because this is their response to Obamacare with that other big government socialized medicine program called Medicare.

The writing is on the wall, and Republican voters are falling for it believing in the ABO propaganda that is being perpetrated from within the Republican ranks. Obamacare lives because the Republicans like the Democrats want it to live. All these votes to repeal are just symbolic. Remember, just a couple weeks ago when Republicans in Congress had a chance to vote against funding Obamacare, they voted to fund it along with Planned Parenthood and contraceptive mandates that cover the abortion pill.

CNS reported:

The Republican-majority House of Representatives on Thursday passed a $1.047 trillion bill funding the federal government through March 2013 that will permit funding for Planned Parenthood and ObamaCare--including the regulation that took effect on Aug. 1 that will require virtually all health plans in the United States to cover, without fees or co-pay, sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives, including those that induce abortions.

If you fail to read between the lines on this one, you are in denial.

Bloomberg Poll Shows Obama's Lead Widening to Unbeatable Proportions

My mom wrote off Ron Paul, who actually stands for something, as unable to win the presidency. She then got behind Mitt Romney calling him a good man who can win despite Romney not standing for anything and basically supporting many things from abortion to gun control that she is against. I warned her Mitt Romney doesn't have a chance because he stands for nothing whose big government record won't energize the conservative base.

Looking at the polls today, I am willing to bet you Republican voters wish they could reconsider the nominee.

According to Bloomberg, Romney is now six points behind Obama.

In critical swing states, the news is worse. Between three to nine points down in Florida. Ten points down in Ohio, and in Pennsylvania, Romney is now 12 points down.

To make matters worse, Romney has neither the persona or the brains to create a comeback (especially without the help of big government) to turn this thing around. Remember, when the going gets tough, Romney has a history of looking to big government to bail him out.

Madonna Strips for Barack Obama in an Endorsement

At a concert the other day, Madonna attempted to keep her clothes on as her political support for Obama was the concert message. Now it appears Madonna doesn't want decency surrounding her support for Barry. She wants to get naked and show off her nasty body for Barack.

Madonna offered a profanity-laced endorsement of President Obama at her concert Monday night, which involved the singer stripping down to her underwear to reveal the president's name written on her body.

“You all better vote for f---ing Obama okay,” she told the crowd at Washington's Verizon center.

Later in the show, Madonna took off her shirt and pulled down her pants to show she had “OBAMA” written in all capital letters across her lower back.

“When Obama is in the White House for a second term I'll take it all off,” she said to cheers and whistles from the audience.

This might be the threat that actually gets me to pull the lever for big government Mitt.

How Mitt Romney Lost Ohio: Ohio Loves Big Government

The General Motors lie has been bought into by the people of Ohio. In case you haven't noticed, Barack Obama is pulling away in the state Republicans must win in order to have a chance at beating Barack Obama. It appears the government take over of General Motors is the reason why the Buckeye State's parasites celebrate and will push the level for Barack.

Yes Ohio loves its big government and socialism. The Washington Post learned this through polling. They write:

There’s lots of reasons why Obama has opened up a high single-digit lead over Romney in Ohio.  But, one BIG factor is that Obama’a decision to take over the American auto industry early in his term is a major net positive in the state for him. Two thirds (64 percent) of Ohio registered voters said that the “loans to General Motors and Chrysler during the financial market problems” had been a “mostly good” thing for the economy while 29 percent said it had been “mostly bad” for the financial health of the state.  In an election of narrow margins, that’s an eye-popping result.

The truth for Ohio, and they better learn this quick, is Obama and General Motors is lying about the success of the auto bailout.

General Motors' profits fell 41% in the second quarter as troubles in Europe undercut strong sales in North America.

America's largest automaker made $1.5bn in the second quarter of 2012, compared with $2.5bn for the same period last year. Revenue fell to $37.6bn from $39.4bn in the second quarter of 2011. The results exceeded analysts' estimates, but further underlined Europe's drag on the US economy.

They better realize the federal government can only order so many General Motors fleet vehicles.

Bloomberg reports:

It looks like General Motors will be throwing everything in but the kitchen sink to help fluff its second quarter earnings numbers. Taxpayers continue to help with the cause as President Obama campaigns on the “success” of GM following the manipulated bankruptcy process that cost taxpayers $50 billion and another $45 billion of tax credits gifted to GM to help protect powerful UAW interests. We now learn that government purchases of GM vehicles rose a whopping 79% in June.

The discovery of the pick-up in government fleet purchases at the taxpayers’ expense comes just weeks before GM announces its second quarter earnings. Overall fleet sales (which are typically less profitable than retail sales) at Government Motors rose a full 36% for the month, helping to drive decent sales improvements year over year.

Scott Walker Suddenly Loves Unions After Green Bay Packers Lost

I love it! The Green Bay Packers were beat on a controversial hail mary final play of the game on Monday night. Apparently Wisconsin governor Scott Walker is mad as hell.

Why is Walker mad?

Because there is a labor dispute between the NFL and it's referee union that has the professional refs locked out for the season. The problem comes from the fact the NFL no longer wants to pay the referees a retirement pension. Instead, they have offered to create a 401K plan. The union told the NFL no, and so we have scabs refereeing games to the best of their abilities and Scott Walker complaining it cost the Packers a game.

Walker tweeted:

"After catching a few hours of sleep, the #Packers game is still just as painful," Walker tweeted . "#Returntherealrefs."

So let me get this straight Governor Walker. Unions are bad until the Packers start to lose. Then suddenly you are for unions?

Paul Ryan has Become "Mini Mitt"

Bringing Paul Ryan into the Romney campaign was supposed to give Mitt Romney conservative credibility. It appears it has only upset more conservatives who were already questioning Romney's conservative ethos.

US News writes about the Politico's piece about how the Romney campaign put the short leash on Paul Ryan.

Conservatives reportedly aren't pleased with how Mitt Romney's presidential campaign is using Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan. Instead of the House Budget Committee chairman "Ryanizing Romney," Politico reports, the vice presidential candidate has become "mini-Mitt." Well, what did they expect? After all Romney's the presidential nominee, not Ryan.

Here's the key paragraph from Friday's Politico report  :

The congressman's role now is as little more than a dutiful No. 2, tossing out attack lines to crowds on less conspicuous stops. Instead of being a catalyst for big ideas, critics believe the campaign has been stuck in a pre-Ryan messaging rut. There hasn't been anywhere near enough of Ryan, they say, who has skipped most major national interviews and hewed to a specific script.

60% of Americans Believe Mitt Romney Will Lose

The latest Politco poll shows Barack Obama starting to pull ahead of Mitt Romney. 60% of Americans now believe Barack Obama, possibly the worst president of all time (Woodrow Wilson and Jimmy Carter are my picks with Obama close behind), will be reelected. Are these people not living in the same horrendous economy that I live with?

I beleive Romney will equal Obama in popular vote, but Romney has no chance in the Electoral College. Romney's margin of error is small if he is expected to win in the Electoral College.

Paul Ryan's Pitch to Ron Paul Supporters: He's Not Obama

So Republicans continue to insult Ron Paul supporters. Throughout the Republican primary, there was story after story of how the Republican establishment played games to keep the impact of the Paul campaign minimal. Now after all these insults and games, the Republican establishment needs Ron Paul supporters to defeat Obama. The likelihood of Ron Paul supporters taking up arms for gun grabber and socialist healthcare experimenter Mitt Romney seems highly unlikely. That hasn't stopped Paul Ryan from his mission.

Once again Paul Ryan is reaching out to Ron Paul supporters. What is Ryan using to appeal to Paul supporters.

"He's not Obama...."

The Politico reports:

During a campaign event in Lima, Ohio Monday, Paul Ryan made his pitch to voters who supported Ron Paul during the Republican presidential primary, saying if they don't want a second-term Obama presidency they should back the Republican presidential ticket, not vote for Paul or third-party candidates.

Ryan's comments came in response to a question from an attendee who asked Ryan why he and other libertarians should vote for Romney and Ryan, as opposed to "not say Libertarian or Vermin Supreme and the Pony Party?"

"Do you want Barack Obama to be re-elected? Then don't vote for Ron Paul," Ryan said, to cheers from attendees.

Ryan added that he considers Paul – who has not endorsed the GOP presidential ticke – a friend, and that there are "many things that Ron has championed that I am a big believer in, especially liberty and sound money."

"Look at where we are, and this is where we all see eye to eye," Ryan said. "We believe in limited government and economic freedom. We believe in pro-growth policies that say you keep your money in your family's budget, in your family's business instead of sending it to Washington in the first place. That creates prosperity, freedom and jobs."

Ryan also praised Paul's long crusade against the Federal Reserve.

"On an issue where Ron has been particularly explicit, the Federal Reserve is yet again trying to bail out the fact that Obama, President Obama has failed on fiscal policy," Ryan said. "All of this money printing, which is coming from the Federal Reserve, risks debasing our currency. It risks undermining the value of our dollar, it risks increasing prices on things like food and gas. And among the things that the government can do to harm its people, one of the worst things is to debase its currency. "

So how has Ryan's leadership compare to Congressman Pauls? Congressman Paul's budget balanced the budget in five years and cut a trillion in federal spending immediately. Paul Ryan's plan continues spending over $3 trillion a year and doesn't balance the budget until 2040. Does it really sound like it to you that Paul Ryan believes in Ron Paul?

Paul Ryan Will Need to Wash the Romney "Stench" Off Him

Here's an interesting quote from a Republican operative. Apparently in the Republican ranks they know Mitt Romney wreaks an awful stench.

“I hate to say this, but if Ryan wants to run for national office again, he’ll probably have to wash the stench of Romney off of him,” Craig Robinson, a former political director of the Republican Party of Iowa, told The New York Times on Sunday.

Interestingly enough, once again the idea of the Republican vice presidential nominee going rouge is hitting the headlines once again this election cycle.

The Politico writes, "Paul Ryan has gone rogue. He is unleashed, unchained, off the hook."

At a certain point, all running mates on failing campaigns feel they must break free from the manacles placed on them by the top of the ticket. Sarah Palin began pursuing her own path once she learned that John McCain was having strategy sessions with his morning bowl of Farina.

Dan Senor, one of Romney’s closest advisers, has kept a tight grip on Ryan, traveling with him everywhere and making sure he hews to the directions of the Romney “brain trust” in Boston. (A brain trust, rumor has it, that refers to Ryan as “Gilligan.”)

But on Saturday, the day after he was booed, Ryan broke free. Appearing at a town hall meeting at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Ryan showed the glitz, the glamour, the razzle-dazzle that he was supposed to bring to the campaign in the first place.

Mitt Romney Flip Flops on Campaign Strategy: Taking the Focus off the Economy

On 60 Minutes, Mitt Romney said he was going to stay the course. Romney expressed confidence in the direction of his campaign even as he fell in the polls after a couple of disastrous weeks. Like everything else in Mitt's world, what Mitt says today will change in 24 hours. Mitt Romney is changing his campaign strategy.

Romney appears to be removing himself from running against Obama's economy despite inflation, high unemployment, outrageous energy prices, and the declining worth of the dollar and most of your assets. Yes, Mitt for Brains doesn't feel the economy is a winning issue anymore. I wish I were kidding.

For months, Mitt Romney has had one main focus – bludgeoning President Barack Obama on the economy.

Now, the Republican presidential candidate has started poking at Obama from all sides as he looks to gain ground. In recent days, Romney has criticized Obama in TV ads and speeches on topics that include farm policy, transparency, military voting rights, welfare reform and religious freedom.

"Who shares your values?" a new Romney ad asks – and suggests that Obama doesn't.

Romney is losing an election that should be an easy win for anyone including Beavis and Butthead. The problem is Romney has no identity other than that of a flip flopper. It's apparent Romney is trying to reinvent himself once again just six weeks before the election.

Do you really think military voting rights is going draw new voters in? No, but getting government out of the way so American businesses can produce jobs will resonate if Romney can give up his big government past. Unfortunately, Mitt Romney's message has included elements of the same big government that destroyed this economy.

You know Obama is resting easier now that Romney will be focusing less on the horrendous economy.

Time to Go Galt?: US Falls to 18th in Economic Freedom

They say we are land of the free. No society has ever been freer than the United States. I continue to doubt this claim noting we are building one of the most technological police states, passed over 50,000 new regulations while Republican George Bush was in office, and now have the IRS's gun pointed at us if we choose not to purchase healthcare insurance. These are the facts.

Now we have another reality of the lack of freedom in the United States.

The Independent Institution reports how socialist Europe has freer economies in the United States. Notice when the trend started. Must have something to do with all those new regulations Republicans pushed for while George W. Bush was in office that continued to reign its tyranny on our economy in the days of Barack.

The United States is rapidly losing its status as one of the freest economies in the world. Economic freedom has decreased in the United States substantially since 2000 and lately its ranking among countries is plunging downward even faster. This spells trouble since economic freedom promotes growth and a higher standard of living.

Economists James Gwartney, Robert Lawson, and Joshua Hall publish an economic freedom of the world report annually. Their latest report, released this week, shows that the United States, which was ranked the second freest economy in 2000, now ranks 18th. Economic freedom increased from 1980 to 2000 in the United States while it was generally ranked behind Hong Kong and Singapore as the third freest economy in the world. Today it ranks behind European welfare states like Finland and Denmark, and places traditionally more hostile to economic freedom like Qatar.

The declines in freedom have occurred because the federal government has grown larger and more intrusive. It has been a non-partisan affair. Approximately two thirds of the decline in economic freedom occurred during Bush’s presidency. But pace of decline doubled during the first two years of Obama’s presidency. In fact, the new index is based off of data from 2010. If the rate of decline has remained unchanged over the last two years the United States has already fallen to 40th and ranks behind places like Romania, Sweden, and Panama. Unfortunately the data needed to investigate that is not available yet.

Chevy Volt a Failure for General Motors

They are ugly. They look cheap despite their outrageous price tag. They came with the promise of over 200 miles per gallon but in reality get just over 30. General Motors continues to have to give the Chevy Volt away making excuses why this miracle car doesn't walk on water.

General Motors rolled out the Chevrolet Volt two years ago with lofty sales goals and the promise of a new technology that someday would help end America’s dependence on oil.

So it seemed like a good thing in August when sales of the $40,000 car set a monthly record of 2,800. But a closer look shows that things aren’t what they seem for the cutting-edge car.

Sales rose mostly because of discounts of almost $10,000, or 25 percent of the Volt’s sticker price, according to figures from TrueCar.com, an auto-pricing website. Other pricing services gave similar numbers, and dealers confirmed that steeply discounted Volts are selling better than a few months ago.

GM’s discounts on the Volt are more than four times the industry’s per-vehicle average, according to TrueCar estimates. Edmunds.com and J.D. Power and Associates say they’re about three times the average. Discounts include low-interest financing, cash discounts to buyers, sales bonuses to dealers, and subsidized leases.

The Chevy Volt is the symbol of Obama's General Motors. It has heavily been sold as one of the reasons General Motors has become a leader. Like the Obama administration, the success of GM is an illusion.

The Frustrated Republican Establishment

I sit and marvel at the squandered opportunity given to the GOP this year. The Republican establishment is pushing every big lie in the book.

"This is the most important election of our lifetime."

"If you vote for a third party you are voting for Obama."

...and the many other lies they continue to spread to get elected and acquire more power.

There is real frustration in the Republican ranks. While much of the Tea Party is watered down and has taken a Republican identity, it is apparent on every level from the local county committee all the way up the chain of command to Mitt Romney the Republican establishment are facing something they aren't used to and it's frustrating them.

What I speak of are Constitutional conservatives who share that libertarian spirit Ronald Reagan celebrated who have decided to put principles before party and their typical scare tactic rhetoric. The Republicans should have this race easily won on the federal level. However, they decided a long time ago Mitt Romney, a big government statist who dabbled in socialized healthcare and pushed for gun control, was their man. The results appear disastrous. It is very likely because Republicans snubbed those who desired a return to Constitutional limited government and alienated a large voting group that Republicans will lose this year. They have played a very dangerous game.

Here in Christian County Missouri, the Christian County Republican establishment posted an ad in the Christian County Headliner of accusing these Constitutional pushing Republicans of hijacking the Republican party labeling them as radical libertarians. They forgot President Reagan said libertarianism is the heart of conservatism.

As we watch Mitt Romney promise more central planning from Washington, we also see the Republican establishment become more frantic about this election. Their lies are getting more intense. This election should have been easy for Republicans to win, but they forgot the most solid foundation of the Tea Party still exists no matter how hard they tried in infiltrate it and destroy it. That foundation is of course the founding principles, something Romney doesn't understand as his record proves who the real Romney is.

It will be interesting to watch the desperation as we enter the last six weeks of this election. It's sad at the same time. The Republican party had a chance to save our Republic, and they turned away from the Constitution mocking those who stood for it as radical libertarians.

Galveston Law Enforcement to Engage Military Exercises

The latest example of the United States preparing for something big in our communities is happening in Galveston, Texas. There law enforcement officials are participating in military drills.

The Daily News in Galveston reports:

Law enforcement agencies from Galveston and surrounding counties will participate in a U.S. Army military training exercise on the island this weekend.

The training, involving the use of military vessels and training munitions, should begin Saturday and conclude by 1 a.m. Sunday, Galveston police said Thursday.

The goal of the training is to slip into an area undetected in an urban environment, police said. Safety precautions, including the presence of uniformed military and military personnel, will be enacted to ensure public safety, police said.

Republicans Vote to Continue Foreign Aid to Libya

And the theft of your wealth in this redistribution of wealth scheme the Republicans play call foreign aid continues. After our US Embassy was attacked in Libya, both Democrats and Republicans in the Senate feel the need to continue sending billions of our tax dollars to help fund the chaos. Remember, when Obama had Gaddaffi removed, he supported rebels with Al Qaeda ties to remove Gaddaffi.

The Daily Caller reports:

By a vote of 81 to 10, the Senate on Saturday defeated legislation that would have suspended foreign aid to Pakistan, Egypt and Libya in the wake of the violent anti-American demonstrations in those countries. All 10 supporters of the bill were Republicans.

Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul had threatened to hold up all Senate business until the bill was considered. He succeeded in forcing a vote, but couldn’t come close to passage.

“When nearly 80 percent of Americans believe foreign aid should be reduced – especially to countries that are not our allies – it is inconceivable why their views are ignored by so many in Congress,” Paul said in a statement. “I am far from defeated on this; I will continue to fight for this issue when Congress returns, and I will continue to call attention to the billions of American dollars – borrowed from China, among other places – being sent to governments that are not willing to respect and protect our interests overseas.”

This means 37 out of 47 Senate Republicans believe in the redistribution of wealth in the form of foreign aid.

P90X Box Gives Hints if it's a Chinese Counterfiet

I recently ordered  a used copy of P90X on Amazon.com. I ordered it on August 13, and it didn't show up in the mail until September 14, long after the promise posted on the Amazon.com. I was surprised when I discovered I had to sign customs forms for my order. The package originated in China. My suspicions instantly went up.

This should be your first clue that your P90X purchased on Amazon, Ebay, or Craigslist is counterfeit. Last week, I took a look at the actual product inside the box to show you how to tell if your P90X product is a counterfeit. This week, we are going to look at the box which is a dead giveaway.

First off, notice the size of the box from P90X2, which I ordered directly from Beachbody compared to the smaller P90X counterfeit box. Beachbody states their boxes will be the size of notebook paper with looking down upon the top of the box. The counterfeit product from China is quite a bit smaller.

When you open the box, there will be a full color graphic in the box. The quality of the image is far less superior over that of a legitimate Beachbody product. The P90X2 box features a glossy image with instructions on "how to bring it". The inner graphic in the P90X Chinese counterfeit is far less shiny.

If I had just taken a closer look at the text in the inner packaging, I would have saved calls from P90X and Internet searches trying to find out if I was sent a legitimate P90X product. Interestingly enough, Beachbody uses a foreign call center to receive P90X orders over the phone, and the call center didn't seem very interested in knowing that I had a counterfeit product. They assured me that my product was legitimate despite my accurate descriptions over the phone that should have been a dead giveaway.

Live Accessto and Tony Horon. The P90X trainer's name is Tony Horton, not Tony Horon. It also states Horon will be there every step of the way with VIP chatsm tips. I don't know what chatsm is but it is coming up as a misspelled word as I type this. That's a dead giveaway.

Slipping in Battleground States, Mitt Romney Doesn't See a Problem

Mitt Romney is proving he is not this amazing CEO he claims to be. Politics is a business and the Romney brand is losing favor. Proof is Romney is slipping in key battleground states he must win in order to secure the Electoral College. Romney has less room for error in this equation than Obama. In a week coming off the disaster Libyan press conference where video shows Romney writing off 47% of Americans rather than present a marketing plan to win their hearts and minds while he continues to embrace parts of Obamacare, Romney believes it's full steam ahead rather than look at the problems and fix them.

On 60 Minutes Romney told Scott Pelley he's not about to change the direction of his campaign.

“It doesn't need a turnaround,” the Republican presidential nominee told CBS news anchor Scott Pelley. “We've got a campaign which is tied with an incumbent president to the United States.”

I marvel at this statement for two reasons.

1. Romney has begun losing ground in states like Iowa, Ohio, and Florida. Romney acts like a simple majority is going to win this thing. The Electoral map should wake this Bozo up, but it's not.

2. Romney is on defense when he should be on offense attacking the worst president of our lifetime who has prolonged the worst economy of our lifetime. Instead of focusing on issues, Romney is bowing down to the Democrats demands and finally released his taxes weeks after the controversy cooled off.

Here's the second part of Romney's problem as exposed in the 60 Minutes interview.

“I've got a very effective campaign. It's doing a very good job,” Romney said. “But not everything I say is elegant. And -- and I want to make it very clear, I want to help 100 percent of the American people.”

This 100% quote is a talking point I have heard watching the Sunday morning shows. It's not the president's job to help 100% of Americans. Remember George Washington found the job boring because the powers of the presidency are quite limited Constitutionally. Romney's quote creates images of big government programs. This is a man who obviously isn't comfortable politically and doesn't understand concepts like limited government. This is a quote I would expect from Bill Clinton--not a Republican.

Mitt Romney Walked Out on Barry Goldwater at the 1964 Republican Convention

The 1964 Republican National Convention was full of drama thanks to the Romney family. The nominee was conservative, very conservative, and the Romney family led by George Romney, the governor of Michigan who ran for president was progressive. The Romney family was part of the Rockefeller arm of the Republican party--those country club types that are moderate and liberal.

You may remember George Romney led a walkout at the 1964 Republican National Convention as Barry Goldwater was nominated because of Goldwater's conservative beliefs. It turns out Mitt Romney was at the convention and probably part of that walkout since he was with his dad and considers his dad his political mentor.

New photos have surfaced of Mitt Romney at the 1964 Republican National Convention. As you will see, Romney was on the floor of the convention with his dad.

Now many of you conservatives justifying your vote for Romney claim he is a conservative despite his liberal record. It may actually be that Romney hates conservatives just like his dad and the roots of that hate center around this conventions. In interviews and appearances, Romney definitely doesn't appear comfortable parading around the country as a conservative, and his campaign was eager to shake up the Etch-a-Sketch.

If you want to know who Mitt Romney is, I would start by asking him about the 1964 convention and his thoughts on Barry Goldwater.
