Will Liberal Mitt Romney be Conservative Kind to Supreme Court

There's been lots of talk that we must come together and vote for Mitt Romney because of the Supreme Court. Standing on conservative principles, I hate the idea of being forced to vote for Mitt Romney simply because he is an alternative to Obama. Romney's record from abortion to gun control to green energy to healthcare looks like Obama's record. See why it's hard to come to terms.

A lot of people know this, but they end their argument with the Supreme Court. I question why should we trust  a liberal in Republican clothing to be conservative friendly when it comes to picking justices for SCOTUS. No one can answer that. Conversation ends.

I decided to do some research and look at Romney's record of picking judges in Massachusetts. It's not impressive, and you should be scared as hell if the only reason you can come to terms with voting for Romney is based on SCOTUS picks.

The Boston Globe ran a story in 2005 on Romney’s judicial appointments.

Governor Mitt Romney, who touts his conservative credentials to out-of-state Republicans, has passed over GOP lawyers for three-quarters (75%) of the 36 judicial vacancies he has faced, instead tapping registered Democrats or independents – including two gay lawyers who have supported expanded same-sex rights.

Of the 36 people Romney named to be judges or clerk magistrates, 23 are either registered Democrats or unenrolled voters who have made multiple contributions to Democratic politicians or who voted in Democratic primaries, state and local records show. In all, he has nominated nine registered Republicans, 13 unenrolled voters, and 14 registered Democrats.

Well, point proven why you should be skeptical about Romney's SCOTUS picks if elected president, which is why Romney needs to vetted far more than he is being vetted.

Obama's Obamacare Failure Defense if the Supreme Court Repeals Obamacare

The bright light in repealing Obamacare isn't coming from the John Boehner Congress. I get the feeling Republicans in Congress wish Obamacare would stick around a while through the election and beyond. First off, it gives the Republicans ammo. That ammo should be neutralized with support for Mitt Romney who ran Romneycare in Massachusetts, but voters aren't that smart--it's the jackasses vs. the elephants. Romneycare grew up and became Obamacare. Secondly, there is power and money for the Republicans who want to put their own branding on healthcare reforms as they go around saying "repeal and replace".

Replace is a scary word considering it was the Republicans with the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, that came up with the federal mandate in 1994 as an alternative to Hillarycare. The federal mandate is the main part of Obamacare that is receiving the scrutiny of the Supreme Court this past week. I have to think this very fact is what saves Obamacare in the end.

Obviously, one of Obama's few legislative achievements since becoming president is Obamacare. It is his legacy--as bad as it is. The truth is it's roots are within the Republican party, and if Obama plays his cards right, this may not be the stunning defeat the media is already writing. Oh sure it will sting, but Obama will tie this to the Republican party through Mitt Romney--since they are the party that was ready to give the federal government this unconstitutional powers in the first place--proving once again there is little difference in the parties.

Had Republicans passed this in 1994, they wouldn't be crying foul and the people probably would have went along with it simply because it wasn't Hillarycare. While I hate the very idea of Obamacare, the truth is simply to hard to ignore in this. Ownership of the federal mandate goes back to Richard Nixon in 1974. It was the Republican party's idea. All it would take is a few campaign commercials tying it all together.

Washington Times Wondering How Obama Got Elected After This Week

In 2008, the mainstream media failed to vet Obama. We see that happening this year as the GOP is scared Mitt Romney will be vetted, and people will figure out he is a liberal. With that pointed out about the mainstream media, the Washington Times wonders how Obama got elected at all.

The past seven brutal days will go down as one of the worst weeks in history for a sitting president. It certainly has been, without any doubt, the worst week yet for President Obama.

Somehow, Mr. Obama managed to embarrass himself abroad, humiliate himself here at home, see his credentials for being elected so severely undermined that it raises startling questions about whether he should have been elected in the first place — let alone be re-elected later this year.

Consider:

• Last Friday, Mr. Obama wandered into the killing of Trayvon Martin. Aided by his ignorance of the situation, knee-jerk prejudices and tendency toward racial profiling, Mr. Obama played a heavy hand in elevating a tragic situation in which a teenager was killed into a full-blown hot race fight.

Americans, he admonished, need to do some “soul-searching.” And then, utterly inexplicably, he veered off into this bizarre tangent about how he and the poor dead kid look so much alike they could be father and son. It was election-year race-pandering gone horribly wrong.

• By the start of this week, Mr. Obama had fled town and was racing to the other side of the planet just as the Supreme Court was taking up the potentially-embarrassing matter of Obamacare. While in South Korea he was caught on a hidden mic negotiating with the president of our longest-standing rival on how to sell America and her allies down the river once he gets past the next election.

• Meanwhile, back at home, the Supreme Court took up the single most important achievement of Mr. Obama’s presidency and, boy, was it embarrassing. The great constitutional law professor, it turns out, may not quite be the wizard he told us he was.

By most accounts, Mr. Obama and his stuttering lawyers were all but laughed out of the courthouse. They were even stumbling over softball questions lobbed by Mr. Obama’s own hand-picked justices.

• Mr. Obama closed his week pulling off a nearly unimaginable feat: He managed to totally and completely unify the nastily-fighting Democrats and Republicans in Congress. Late Wednesday night, they unanimously voted — 414 to zip — to reject the budget Mr. Obama had presented, leaving him not even a thin lily’s blade to hide behind.

Why isn't 75% of Americans Tired of War Mean a Mandate for Ron Paul

CNN has a new poll out. Americans are tired of war. Only 25% of Americans now support the endless war in Afghanistan, the graveyard of armies.

The war has dragged on and there appears to be no winnable solution to the war, and yet more Americans come home in boxes, more of your tax dollars get wasted in the desert, and the politicians continue to tell us it's getting better as soldiers write it's not. In fact, they write it's a mess. One soldier writes it's an "absence of success on every level".

For over a decade, America has tried to push democracy at gunpoint, and even it's relationship with its handpicked leader Hamid Karzai is under great strain.

Just 37% of the general public said things are going well for the U.S. in Afghanistan, while only 34% said America is winning the war. The approval likely contributed to the 55% of those surveyed who said the U.S. should remove all of its troops from the country before 2014.

Twenty-two percent expressed support for the 2014 timetable and an additional 22% said the U.S. should keep some troops in Afghanistan beyond 2014.

We know Barack Obama promised the first thing he would do as president would be end these wars.

Of course Obama lied and escalated the wars. There is a candidate who is serious about ending America's wars. Only Ron Paul understand the Constitutional use of our military. He understands that aggression is not working in the Middle East as America is wrapped up in endless wars that are driving up the national debt. Only Ron Paul would end these wars, examine how US foreign policy continues to fail, and look to the founding fathers for wisdom on foreign policy.

So why isn't this adding up for votes? It's not like people aren't getting the message. Ron Paul continues to attract the largest crowds of any candidate this year, and as the press has written him off, he still attracted over 5200 in Wisconsin this week.

Ron Paul is the only candidate not beating the war drum. It is likely that Obama himself may lead us into the next war against Iran, despite there being no clear evidence Iran has WMDS. Iran hasn't invaded another country in over 150 years either.

So, the perplexity of the American voter is on display. Tired of war and one man is willing to look to peace as a solution by reexamining why we have become a society that embraces war. Only 25% claim they support the current war effort. So what am I missing here?

Chuck the Boxer Dog Excited His Daddy is Returning From War

Did St. Rick Santorum Catch Himself Calling Obama a "Nigger"

St. Rick of Tarsus, who the Bible belt continues to line up for has been caught on camera twice this week that may show Rick Santorum has a potty mouth. We already know he called out a reporter using the "s" word.

Now it sounds like Rick Santorum nearly called Obama the "N" word. I think Rick Santorum is cracking.

James Carville: "Best Thing for the Democrat Party is for Obamacare to be Overturned"

James Carville is speaking out against that Republican created and Obama adopted healthcare plan known as Obamacare. He says the best thing that could happen to Democrats in 2012 is the Supreme Court to overturn Obamacare.

I honestly believe this. This is not spin. I think that this will be the best thing that ever happened to the Democratic Party. I think healthcare costs are gonna escalate unbelievably. It’s 2012 and 20 out of 100 people are over 65. By 2020, it’s gonna be 26. You know what the Democrats are going to say, and it’s completely justified, “We tried. We did something.” Go see a 5-4 Supreme Court majority. The public has these guys figured out. Our poll shows half think the whole thing is political. They overturned an election. Just as a professional Democrat, there’s nothing better for me than to overturn this thing 5-4. Then the Republican Party will own the healthcare system for the foreseeable future. I really believe that. That is not spin.

In fact, Republicans might be just thinking the opposite as they hope to campaign against Obamacare while ignoring Mitt Romney is more responsible for this horrible piece of legislation that Obama himself is. That's right, even though Mitt Romney is the poster child for Obamacare, hypocritical Republicans don't want the bill overturned before the election for the political capital that is Obamacare. Carville is not a stupid man. He understands this. We know Republicans care about the Constitution as much as Democrats, which isn't saying much these days. We also know Republicans came up with this bill with the Heritage Foundation as an alternative to Hillarycare, so the anger you see is really, I believe, is political theater all designed around winning elections. That's how these people think. Warped, I know. Republicans created Obamacare, and I am sure they know the power it possesses.

Billy Long Ignores Mitt Romney's Obamaesque Green Energy Policy

Billy Long says Mitt Romney is quoting him on the campaign trail. Once the primary is over, Billy Long will be part of that Etch-A-Sketch that will be shaken to establish the liberal truth that is Mitt Romney.

Congressman Long told Ozarks First he is advising Mitt Romney.

As for Rep. Long's pick to be the next president: Mitt Romney.

"Sure, you bet," said the confident congressman. "I talked with him yesterday in fact. One thing I talked about is I said, when the President said we need alternative energy, I said, 'No we don't we need an alternative President.' And I'll be dog gone it was on Fox News this morning. They were interviewing him and he used the quote I gave him yesterday."

If Billy Long doesn't want an alternative president, why is he voting for Romney who gave away taxpayer dollars for failed green energy policies? Like I said, Billy Long's quotes Mitt Romney uses today with be part of that shaken Etch-a-Sketch come fall. Here's Judge Napolitano discussing how Mitt Romney is the same kind of guy Billy Long says he doesn't want.

That's right Billy, Mitt Romney not only inspired Obama on healthcare, but he inspired Obama on green energy too. So why are you endorsing Romney again?

I guess Congressman Long will continue to ignore the truth about Romney as long as Romney's PAC is putting money in Billy Long's campaign.

Billy Long Doesn't Plan On Cutting the Federal Deficit Until 2040

Our puppet in Washington once again did what he was told without questioning much. Ten Republicans voted against it noting the cuts in the Ryan budget didn't go deep enough. One of those Republicans wasn't Billy Long. Billy Long voted to pass the Paul Ryan budget.

Now on the surface Paul Ryan's budget sounds great until you start doing the math. We know Billy Long isn't very good at doing math. The budget cuts in the Ryan plan total $5 trillion dollars, but that's over ten years which means all they have really done is cut $500 billion per year. When you are talking $16 trillion in debt, those ten Republicans that voted against it demanding bigger cuts were on the right side of the argument. Of course this is a little better than where we have been.

Conservative radio host Mike Church talked about how little the Ryan budget really does. He noted on his conservative Sirius Patriot radio show real deficit reduction won't come from the Paul Ryan budget plan until 2040, and by then there will be plenty of other Congresses that have long forgotten this bill and voted in other budgets.

As well American Vision also reported:

American Vision reports:

All told, Ryan proposes to slash federal spending by $5.3 trillion over the next decade compared with President Obama’s latest budget blueprint, with the biggest savings taken from health programs — including the repeal of Obama’s initiative to expand health coverage to the uninsured — and entitlements for the poor. . . .

But don’t be fooled by the big numbers. While an improvement over Obama’s, the Ryan plan does not propose to eliminate deficits until 2040—28 years of more deficit spending! And the big $5.3 trillion number—that’s spread out over a decade. Deficits, in other words, will still reign:

The national debt would continue to rise. . . .

So obviously Billy Long, who voted for the $2.4 trillion deficit ceiling increase late last year isn't nearly fed up enough of federal deficits.

Republicans voting against the Ryan budget were Reps. Justin Amash (Mich.), Joe Barton (Texas), John Duncan Jr. (Tenn.), Chris Gibson (N.Y.), Tim Huelskamp (Kan.), Walter Jones (N.C.), David McKinley (W.Va.), Todd Platts (Pa.), Denny Rehberg (Mont.) and Ed Whitfield (Ky.).

Billy Long Wins Chamber of Commerce Award

In the tradition of Billy Long himself, just as he honored the Ozark JROTC program, we honor Congressman Billy Long today for winning an award. (Long's name is listed along with every other Republican member of Congress as a recipient). Good Job Billy!

Looks Like Billy Long Went to Vegas Again Thanks to Special Interest

Remember a couple months ago when we learned Billy Long, who promised Southwest Missouri he was above the status quo in Washington by claiming he was "fed up" with Sarah Steelman's backing claiming he couldn't be bought by special interest, went to Las Vegas thanks to a special interest group? It didn't take Long very long before he went back to Vegas thanks to another special interest group. Yup, Billy is loving how things are done in Washington forgetting all about being "fed up", all the while Southwest Missourians are trying to get through these tough times--Long is taking all sorts of free trips and using his position to get more trips.

The RJC, a special interest group representing American Jews in the GOP featured Long as a key note speaker earlier this month. They posted a picture of Long in Las Vegas for the event.

Long, who is known as a high stakes poker player, never misses the chance to allow special interest to take him to the adult Disney Land known as Vegas. I just want to know, what does Billy Long know about Jews other than a few jokes he told in the barns at his auctions in front of his buddies? We know he doesn't know much about leadership.

My guess is Billy "led" this group to the poker tables.

Ozark High School Administrators Noticeably Absent from JROTC National Championship Celebration

For the third year in a row, the Ozark High School JROTC air rifle team celebrates a national championship. This year, we have a wonderful story of four kids who wanted to move up in class from Sportster Class to Precision Class, but faced budget cuts that would have stopped most kids from even trying to move up. The move up to Precision Class meant over $12,000 in new equipment.

That didn't stop these four kids. They found a way to come up with the money without relying on much help from a school who has pumped endless money into a football program--proof seen in the new football stadium with stadium seats, mini jumbo tron full video scoreboard, astroturf, and a field house so players don't have to walk an extra 50 yards into the high school during half time. These kids relied on themselves and not the taxpayers to move up to Precision Class.

This past weekend, in their initial entry in the even at an all services national meet that included an international field of team that met in Alabama, Ozark High School JROTC pulled off the impossible and won the national championship in Precision Class. This was after a long road trip to Alabama of about 12 hours and the stress of an entire season that built up to this one moment.

They were recognized last night at the annual JROTC awards ceremony. A full house of parents and family members showed up at the auditorium. However, administrators from the school were notably absent. Dr. Gordon Pace and other members of the administration were no shows in this event that honored excellence while representing Ozark High School. Isn't that a sad statement about the administration at Ozark High School?

These administrators are promising excellence with their new United National education program called the International Baccalaureate, and yet they don't have the time to truly come out and celebrate the excellence of these four students that took it upon themselves to earn a national championship by not just putting the hours of practice in, but engaging in their community to come up with $12,000 just to compete. They deserve better Dr. Pace.

Billy Long in Closed Town Hall Meeting "Bomb Iran"

Frat boy Billy Long decided not to serve his country through military service. He took the political road like so many others born with a silver spoon. He wants now to send more of America's children off to war.

In a closed town hall meeting tonight that wasn't open to all 7th District constituents, only those who got the invite via phone call and were told at the last minute, Long became a cheerleader for bombing a country that hasn't invaded another country in over 150 years according to our sources that listened to the call. Long apparently hasn't looked to his pocket Constitution lately to see our military is supposed to be used for a common defense, so Long didn't budge in his call to bomb Iran despite the fact we are quickly heading towards the $2.4 trillion debt ceiling Long voted for last fall. Obviously, another war will bring us closer to that number as we near $16 trillion in debt.

Long was joined by two lobbyists from American Israel Public Affairs Committee. Remember Billy Long said he would not be influenced by lobbyists, but I am told they controlled the town hall meeting calling for war against Iran.

Why are we going to war? The New York Times reported this WMD scare nearly 20 years ago and still yet there is no conclusive proof of Iran having any nuclear weapons. Long once again proves he is a puppet of the establishment capable of mouthing talking points without questioning their motives. Of course, it's young men and women who will pay the ultimate cost that will come with these careless political games as proof in Afghanistan shows America hasn't even come close to taking care of business in the first war it started over ten years ago.

How are we going to fund this war Billy? Remember, Long pointed fingers at the liberals for bankrupting this country and then went to Washington producing virtually no spending cuts, funding a frivolous lawsuit known as Pigford, and then voting to increase the national debt another $2.4 trillion with a debt ceiling increase. Where are we going to get the money Congressman Long? Perhaps we can borrow it from China.

We should have expected this. The military industrial complex donated heavily to Billy Long's campaign from the get go. Billy Long has sold out his vote to the military industrial complex and your child may have to pay the ultimate price. Of course Billy Long was wearing Greek letters and drinking lots of beer at Mizzou when he was that age, and he can send your kids off to war knowing he doesn't have to worry about his own kids coming home in a flag draped box.

I leave you with wise words from Dwight David Eisenhower.

Constitutional Conservative Republican Mike Moon Officially Enters Race Against Billy Long

Mike Moon gave a passionate speech at the Lincoln Day even in Joplin a few weeks ago. He evoked the spirit of Joe Wilson analyzing Billy Long's big spending, big government record that failed to make any significant cuts in the size of government and deficit spending. Billy told us he was fed up and was going to Washington to something about, "well, HE LIED," exclaimed Moon. A couple weeks later the Republican establishment in Taney County decided to protect Long's not so conservative record and didn't allow Moon to speak, much to the approval of republican mob boss Mavis Busiek who was hear saying "GOOD" when they announced Moon would not be given the microphone.

Well, they have no reason now that justifies not giving Mike Moon the microphone so he can point out to voters Billy Long was never "fed up" and quickly embraced the same Washington establishment Long went to Washington because voters like you bought into his quirky rhetoric. Mike Moon is now an official candidate for Congress.

Moon drove up to Jefferson City yesterday, paid his dues to the Republican party, and filed with the Secretary of State. Moon realizes the lack of leadership in the Republican House led to no significant changes in the way things are done in Washington as he noted the Republicans led the charge for another $2.4 trillion with the Billy Long backed debt ceiling increase, while the Republicans who now control the purse strings gave us another $1 trillion in deficits last year.

So now we have a real Constitutional conservative in the race, and we already see signs of the Republicans, who made Tea Party promises two years ago, fighting it. Before announcing, Christian County Chairman Walt Martens parading around a 24 year old monkey who apparently can recite the Missouri Republican platform and still lives at home with mom and dad and is running for Congress asked Moon to reconsider entering the race. As mentioned earlier, Mavis Busiek gave her approval of the Taney County Chair's decision not to let Mike Moon speak.

So it's going to be a tough road for Mike Moon, but the question voters need to ask is was Billy Long fed up or did he embrace the establishment and become a puppet? If you want to continue trillion dollar deficits because Billy Long can't vote against NASCAR sponsorship, then don't vote for Mike Moon. If you want to continue the destruction of the Constitution because Billy Long obviously can't figure out the Patriot Act and the National Defense Authorization Act, which gives the federal government power to indefinitely detain Americans without due process, don't vote for Mike Moon.

If you want a real conservative and someone who will fight for your rights and vote against big spending and big government, Mike Moon is the man with convictions. I hope you will look to Mike Moon come August to end Billy Long's vacation in Washington, DC. It's time to send the auctioneer back to his auction barn.

Healthcare "Off the Table if Romney Wins Nomination"

There are two scary things about a Romney nomination. First, it neutralizes any argument that can be made against Obamacare. Voters aren't Constitutionally educated to understand Mitt Romey's overnight fascination with the 10th Amendment. Secondly, it proves Republicans were never serious about repealing it. They wrote the bill in 1994 along with the Heritage Foundation, and they see power and money in it and will find a way to make it their own.

It appears Chuck Schumer agrees with me on the first part. Ironically, Schumer is pointing out many of the things already written on this blog:

“The concept of an individual mandate was first floated by the conservative Heritage Foundation; it was taken up by conservative Republicans as an alternative to the universal health bill proposed by President Clinton,” Schumer told reporters. “And of course, there is the issue of Mitt Romney, who passed Romneycare in Massachusetts, which is based on exactly the same model health care law we passed two years ago.

“If he tries to make it an issue in a debate with President Obama, it’s just going to confirm that he’s the Etch a Sketch candidate,” Schumer added. “If Mitt Romney is the nominee, in effect health care will be off the table as an issue.”

Actually, Mr. Schumer, Richard Nixon floated the idea first in 1974. You really aren't that far off. That same think tank that passes out all the pocket Constitutions known as the Heritage Foundation came up with it, which is why I no longer support the Heritage Foundation--another group of Decepticons who betrayed the Constitution.

Bailed Out General Motors Now Sending Jobs to Russia

Remember those General Motors commercials thanking the American taxpayer for bailing out GM. I believe the commercial was called "We All Fall Down".

Well, General Motors proves how insincere they were after taking billions of your tax dollars in the form of bailouts. The goal of the bailouts were to save American jobs, but as BBCW has reported many times, factories began moving to South Korea, China, and Mexico shortly after the bailout. Now General Motors is about to give the American taxpayer another kick in the behind.

Bloomberg reports:

General Motors Co. (GM) is planning to shift more of its production to low-cost countries including Poland, Russia, China, India, Mexico and Brazil, Der Spiegel reported, citing a company strategy paper.

As the automaker’s output is increasing, GM plans to build 80 percent of the additional units in low-cost countries, the magazine said in an e-mailed preview of its article.

By 2016, GM plans to export an additional 300,000 vehicles from factories in Mexico, Korea and China to Europe, Spiegel said.

Don't you feel the love from General Motors? By the way, why isn't Obama saying anything after pushing these bailouts through to "save American jobs"?

Jordan Powers/James Hooker Inspired Law Discriminates Against a Profession While Ignoring the Age of Consent

James Hooker left his wife and kids last year after falling in love with one of his students. By no means am I advocating for Hooker's behavior. After leaving his family, he moved in with Jordan Powers, an 18 year old student of his Enochs High School in Modesto, California. The couple has some lawmakers talking about a new law inspired by this inappropriate affair.

It may soon be a felony for a teacher to date a student. Ok, on the surface that doesn't sound like a bad idea considering, but does the law discriminate and will it lead to other issues?

First off, Powers was 18 years old when the two decided to engage in a relationship. By all means that makes her an adult. While her decision is foolish and his pathetic and sad, it still doesn't change the fact she was of legal age when the two decided to get involved. Both claim they did not engage in any inappropriate behavior until after Powers turned 18.

So, if such a law is passed, where does it end? It obviously targets teachers, which seems a bit discriminatory, but who in government is to say that a woman can't fall in love with a man twice her age or vice versa and live happily ever after? She was of legal age after all when she decided to get involved with this man. We send men off to war at 18. They can legally sign contracts when they turn 18. So what really did these two do wrong other than cross a line over what society expects out of its school teachers other than he leaving his family? They are after all two adults.

So if a older fast food manager falls in love with the 18 year old register girl, do we look at them with disgust? Are we going to pass laws to ensure this doesn't happen either? What's the difference? It goes on every day. I saw it going on in places I worked. Are we going to have laws against that too?

Or what about church camp counselors? I know of people in past churches I have gone to in which there is a considerable age difference. Just how do you suppose we regulate to people of legal age and the relationship they have with each other?

For all we know they could truly be in love--a love that lasts. You aren't going to stop that no matter how hard you try.

Now this isn't justifying underage relationships by any means. There are plenty of teachers who have crossed that line too; however, if the law says 18 is legal age of consent and adulthood, then who are these lawmakers who are going to try to legislate relationships?

No, I don't think Hooker is an admirable person, but really what law did he break other than possibly the school's set of rules, and it appears appropriate action has taken place. To label this crime a felony seems extreme to me.

Iran War Chants Are Raising Gas Prices: Could Double by Summer if Iran Rightfully Defends Itself

All those threats against Iran aren't haveing a positive effect on oil prices already on the rise thanks to inflation caused by Obama and the Federal Reserve's continued printing of worthless money. If things get worse around Iran and the call of war increases, chances are American energy consumers will pay a huge cost for a nuclear weapons program the US has warned is just weeks, months, and a couple years away since 1995. Phantom WMDS once again are the call to war.

Press TV Reports:

A leading US-based energy consulting firm says oil price may hit $240 a barrel and economic growth may fall by over 25 percent if Iran closes the Strait of Hormuz in reaction to the Western sanctions.

Analysts at IHS Global Insight also told reporters that Iran can easily close the strategic strait and disrupt global oil supplies for up to three months by laying mines that the US and its allies would have to find and remove, USA Today reported.

“If Iran actually moves to close the Strait of Hormuz, crude oil prices may soar to $240 a barrel for some time,” said Sara Johnson, senior research director for Global Economics at IHS.
She added that oil prices may stay as high as $160 in the second quarter of the year before reverting to somewhere around $120.

Such an oil shock, Johnson stated, can bring back gas lines in much of the world, and shave next year’s global economic growth to 2.6 percent from a current forecast of 3.6 percent.
“If it [oil price] did hit $240 [a barrel], you’re looking at about a doubling of where gas prices are now; and the US [gas price] is at $4 [a gallon],” said Jim Burkhard, managing director of the global oil group at IHS CERA, the firm’s energy-research arm.

Department of Homeland Security Keeping Us Safe From Hair Straighteners

This is what Janet Napolitano's enemy looks like.

Remember when the Department of Homeland Security was formed? It was formed as a new bureau to protect Americans from terrorists. Well, the terrorists are now armed with hair straighteners, a curling iron like device that does just the opposite.

The Orange County Register Reports:

Local and federal law enforcement authorities descended on a house in Laguna Niguel Thursday morning to investigate two men suspected as traffickers in counterfeit hair straighteners, which if poorly made can pose significant safety hazards to consumers, including burning and electrocution.

About 10 investigators with the Orange County District Attorney's Office and special ICE Homeland Security Investigations agents combed through the garage and the single-story house in the 29500 block of Pelican Way near Niguel Road and Alicia Parkway.

I just want to thank my Congressman Billy Long for continuing to support the expansion of these federal government morons known as the Department of Homeland Security.

Rick Santorum Tells Fox News It's Quite Republican to Curse

Rick Santorum is being passed off as a family values candidate despite the fact he has committed numerous crimes against family values like expanding the federal role over your child's education. For some reason (the anybody but Obama and Romney reason) the religious right has grasped hold of this moderate claiming he is the only conservative in this race.

Rick got caught in a lie this weekend, and then he got mad and was caught telling a reporter it was "bullshit", despite the evidence saying otherwise. Now Rick Santorum is defending his use of profanity that was caught on camera.

Rick says using curse words is acting like a real Republican should.

Seriously Rick, when I hear people cussing in public, I think ignorance. Perhaps then he's right about the Republicans. They haven't done many smart things over the past 25 years.

Tera Sukman's Taney County Missouri Caucus Repeal Letter to David Cole

BBCW has received a copy of Tera Sukman's repeal letter that attempts to get all the delegates from the Taney County, Missouri Caucus thrown out. The following is that letter:

Chairman David Cole
Missouri Republican Party
105 E High Street
Jefferson City, Missouri
65101

SIR, I am Tera Sukman, my phone number is 417-xxx-xxxx, my e-mail is, terasukman@aol.com. I attended the Taney county Caucus and I am Disturbed with what I observed. I am challenging the Taney County Caucus on Procedural Matters.

1. Buddy Roberts brought the Nomination for the Chairman and recognized Dave Woolery to nominate Buddy Roberts, himself as candidate. Buddy remained head of the Caucus even after the nomination and during vote. WITH NO SEPARATION

2. WHEN THE VOTE OCCURRED, MR BUDDY ROBERTS WON, but it went up for RECOUNT. Recount was allowed, however, CREDENTIALED VOTERS were mixed with Visitors. The integrity of the vote was highly compromised

3. The Credentialing verification was a light RED STAMP you could barely see. The stamp washed off when you washed your hands. This was a personal experience. My husband R. Randall Sukman M.D. washed his off; they counted him anyway, without a stamp. No one to verify or re-stamp after 10:00. This stamp was impossible. I believe un-credentialed visitors were counted. I reiterate, credentialed voters were mixed with visitors.

4. Karen Weig, 712-xxx-xxxx, witnessed visitors next to credentialed voters. They were holding their hands up to vote and she did not see a stamp on their hand. Karen Weig had the courage to go to podium and ask these concerns be part of the record. She was ignored.

5. AT ONE POINT there was such a disruption to do something about the matter Chairman was forced to address this issue after the fact. To prove this was an issue, the Chairman asked visitors to move to one end of bleachers and visitors who came in after 10:00 to Leave. THE MIXTURE ON THE FLOOR WAS NOT ADDRESSED. Chairman announced, “It is on your own HONOR SYSTEM not to sit with credentialed voters.” Many visitors remained on floor and on bleachers MIXING WITH CREDENTIALED VOTERS. No Integrity of Vote.

6. The stamp that was used was red ink easily transferrable. Many opportunities to corrupt credentialing process.

7. I MADE A MOTION, REQUIRING DELEGATES ON INDIVIDUAL SLATES TO BE COMMITTED AS PART OF THE RULES BEFORE RULES WERE PASSED. THE CHAIRMAN SAID IT WAS AGAINST THE RULES OF GOP PROCEDURE. MY MOTION WAS NOT ALLOWED TO GO TO FLOOR AND THEREFORE I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE VOTE ON AMMENDING RULES. (THE RULES WERE NOT HANDED OUT OR READ). NO ONE KNOWS IF THIS RULE WAS IN CHAIRMANS RULES OR GOP. VOTERS DID NOT SEE OR RECEIVE RULE’S.

8. I ASKED, FROM PODIUM, IF WE COULD HAVE A NON-BINDING VOTE TO SEE WHERE SLATES STAND. CHAIRMAN AGAIN SAID, IT WAS AGAINST RULES OF GOP PROCEDURE FOR PEOPLE TO KNOW WHERE YOU STAND ON CANDIDATES. MY MOTION WAS AGAIN DENIED. THIS WAS AGAIN MISLEADING

9. CHAIRMAN SAID SLATES HAD TO HAVE A REQUIRED NAME, PHONE NUMBER AND EMAIL OF 22 DELEGATES AND 22 ALTERNATES OVERWHELMING ALL OF US. I COMPLETED TEA PARTY PATRIOT HQ SLATE BUT ANDY HUGHES WAS DENIED SLATE AFTER HE ASKED FOR 15 MINUTES TO COMPLETE.

10. I BELIEVE EMAILS ARE OPTIONAL AND THEY WERE REQUIRED ON THE SPOT TO BE A SLATE. ONLY AFTER WE HAD COMPLETED TEA PATRY PATRIOT HQ SLATE DID THE CHAIRMAN TELL ANDY HE DIDN’T NEED E-MAILS, ANDY HUGHES WAS STILL DENIED ADEQUATE TIME TO PUT TOGETHER SLATE

11. AT THE LAST MINUTE, OVER MICROPHONE, IN SESSION, ANDY HUGHES SAID, “ALL RON PAUL SUPPORTER’S ARE IN THE BACK,” (THE TWO SLATES WERE SEPARTATED, FRONT OF ROOM AND BACK OF ROOM), ANDY THEN SAID, “THE ESTABLISHMENT CANDIDATES ARE IN THE FRONT,” (CHAIRMAN RULED THAT WASN’T ALLOWED TO ME). THIS DID NOT ALLOW ME TO ANNOUNCE MY DELEGATES OR SUPPORT OF CANDIDATES OR DENY MR HUGHES NEGATIVE COMMENTS. MY SLATE WAS WEIGHED TO REPRESENT SANTORUM, ROMNEY AND GINGRICH. WE WERE NOT PROFESSIONALLY INFORMED OF PATRIOT SLATE OR INFORMED WHO THE DELEGATES WERE, OR IF THEY WERE REGISTERED VOTERS IN TANEY COUNTY.

12. DURING THE MEETING THERE WERE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO REQUEST THAT THE DELEGATE’S ON SLATES BE RECOGNIZED. CHAIRMAN DENIED THE MOTION. VOTERS WERE ASKED TO VOTE FOR SLATES THEY KNEW NOTHING ABOUT.

THE UNPROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE FACTS TO ALL THAT ATTENDED WAS MISLEADING AND THE CAUCUS SHOULD BE NULLIFIED.

I TERA SUKMAN OFFICALLY CHALLENGE THE PROCEDURE’S AND RULES SET FORTH IN THE CAUCUS FOR TANEY COUNTY.

Tera Sukman is the worst possible person to write this letter for the Republican establishment in Taney County. After all, she writes this letter and then says she has no idea how a caucus is supposed to be run. What ethos does she have other than she is a Republican establishment hack?

Isn't this how liberals work? I mean Tera invested $1000 in influencing this caucus all the while she could be attending the many caucus training events. She complains she doesn't know the rules rather than take responsibility for learning the rules. Then when the results don't go the way she wants, she figures she can use legal channels to get the results thrown out just like liberals tried to do with Proposition 8 in California after the voters had spoken.

Yes, Tera you are showing your liberal progressive side in your anger at the results.

Tera Sukman's Stupidity Shines in Challenge of Taney County Republican Caucus

Tera Sukman sounds like a character out of a Jeff Foxworthy 'redneck' routine describing why she thinks the Taney County Caucus should be overturned. The Ron Paul slate won the caucus held on March 17, 2012, and Sukman, who spent $1000 in hopes of defeating the Ron Paul movement is now filing papers to challenge the caucus.

Tera blames employers as an intimidation factor in the caucus. Sukman claims voters were afraid they would lose their jobs if they spoke up at the caucus. Here's Sukman explaining why the Rick Santorum delegation lost:

KRZK writes of Sukman:

One week after Taney County’s Republican Party Caucus was held to elect delegates to the upcoming district and state meeting, the director of the Branson Tea Party Headquarters is challenging the caucus format and is asking the state Republican Party to toss out the results.

The funny thing is, Sukman admits she was clueless to what the rules were. She didn't even know what a slate was as you can see she admits in the following video.

Yet, without an understanding of the rules, Sukman tells KRZK she has written a litter to David Cole asking the Caucus results be overturned. Now remember, she spent $1000 to influence the caucus and didn't get a return on her investment.

Finally, here's Tera complaining that nobody was educated about the caucus before going. Now let me get this straight. Tera Sukman's organization claims to be an educational source for Constitutional civics in the Branson area. She spent $1000 to influence the caucus. Why didn't she use the money and her Tea Party HQ to educate people on caucus rules before going to the caucus? If she claims the title of an educator in these matters, who is really to blame here? Educated Ron Paul supporters who took the time to understand the rules, or Tera's blondness on display once again pushing the blame off on everyone else. Hey Tera, being conservative means taking responsibility.

So it appears Tera Sukman has learned the way of the liberal. Just like the gay voters in California upset that Proposition 8 passed preventing gay marriage and taking their argument to the courts, Tera's letter hoping to get the results she wants by writing a letter begging for the caucus to be overturned in no different than what we saw happen with Proposition 8 in California. And this is what passes for Tea Party leadership these days? It's shameful!

Romney/Paul VP Conspiracy? Or Is is Rick Sanotrum Who Has Been Plotting All Along

I have heard it said many times that Ron Paul hasn't been tough enough on Romney. While I believe this to be true, I haven't bought into the Santorum nuts' conspiracy that something is in the works for Ron/Rand Paul on the ticket for VP. However, Santorum nuts love to put that out there as they defend Santorum as a principled conservative.

Well, as irony has it, the principled conservative who has rightfully attacked Romney has a liberal may be getting ready to put his name as a member of the dark side? Santorum is talking like he wants on the ticket and may be working on a deal to do just that. As conspiracies go, is it possible Santorum, a big government guy himself who pushed more federal control of healthcare as a US Senator, been in this race all along as a road block for Paul, because it sure appears now Santorum has his eyes on a new prize. Just thought all you Romney/Paul VP conspirators should know your principled conservative may be joining the most liberal Republican of all in a quest to conquer Mordor.

Despite the bickering and criticisms emanating from the two campaigns, Rick Santorum said in an interview Monday that he is open to being on the Republican ticket as Mitt Romney’s vice president if he secures the nomination this August.

“Of course. I mean, look. I would do in this race as I always say, this is the most important race in our country’s history. I’m going to do everything I can. I’m doing everything I can. I’m out there. In the last 10 months, I’ve had five days off. Two for Thanksgiving, and three for Christmas. I’ve been working every single day. My wife and my kids, we’re just busting our tail, because we know their future and all of our childrens’ future is at stake in this election and I don’t want to be the guy who has to sit with my granddaughter, 20 years from now, and tell stories about an America where people once were free. I don’t want to have that conversation,” Santorum said in an interview with CBN’s David Brody.

For Rick Santorum, It's About the Power of Mordor on the Potomac

So after a week of rightfully declaring Mitt Romney as a liberal of the worst kind, Rick Santorum is backing off. Why? Well, there could be a job in it for him of course proving once again few Republicans really have conservative principles they actually stick to. Santorum has gone as far as calling Romney "the worst Republican in the country."

After declaring Mitt Romney would make a horrible president using the Etch-a-Sketch, Santorum now says he would consider being part of the "horrible" administration.

Asked if he’s keeping his options open, Santorum responded, “I’ll do whatever is necessary to help our country.”

It's not about principles. It's about power.

Did Lindsey Graham Inspire the Communist Chinese on Indefinite Detainment?

Well we know Lindsey Graham looks to tyrants rather than the Constitution for justice these days. Graham successfully pushed for the indefinite detainment of Americans without due process, which Obama signed into law.

It appears the Chinese now is looking to Senator Graham for inspiration. Although, China's law will notify families within six months.

China has unveiled legislation enshrining police powers to hold people at unknown locations, but has removed a controversial secrecy clause after an outcry.

Experts had warned that the original draft would have legalised disappearances by allowing police to hold some suspects for up to six months without informing their families.

The new law states that police have the right to hold suspects or defendants at places other than their home or an official detention centre if they are "involved in crimes concerning state security, terrorism or especially serious corruption and notification of where they are residing could obstruct investigations".

Experts said that that police would not have to disclose where they were holding suspects, although they believed in theory suspects would have a right to legal access.

State security crimes include subversion and other vaguely-worded charges often used against dissidents.

But the clause that most alarmed campaigners – by stating that, in such cases, police did not have to notify families within 24 hours if it could impede the investigation – has now been removed.

Now as you listen to Graham up above cheering him on. There are two things to remember as it appears the Chinese were inspired by the South Carolina Senator. Our Constitution through Article III Section III already has rules for the treasonous scenarios Graham speaks of. In other words, Graham has ignored the Constitution beyond the due processes to deal with these scenarios.

As you can see, the Chinese like what Graham has done.

Obamacare's Roots Are Deep Within the GOP: Santorum Lies About Obamacare Blaming it Just on Mitt Romney

Does Mitt Romney have a part in the Obamacare equation? Absolutely! Romney ran the Obamacare pilot program in Massachusetts.

Is Romney totally responsible for Obamacare? Well according to a profanity laced tirade by St. Rick who used the word "bull shit" in one of his rants this weekend, Santorum wants to tell a lie and not point the blame where the blame is deserved.

You see Rick Santorum was part of the problem. In 1993, Bill Clinton took office and gave Hillary Clinton the role of coming up with a government run healthcare system. Rather than look to the Constitution and limited government, Republicans worked with the Heritage Foundation to come up with an alternative way to offer government run healthcare. The GOP and the Heritage Foundation drafted what would become Romneycare. Now we don't know how much input the Representative Santorum had in this matter, but he was in the House at the time the Republican alternative was debated in the House. He should know the origins go farther back than just Mitt for Brains in Massachusetts.

In fact, the idea of a federal mandate for healthcare goes back even a little further to Richard Nixon. Nixon's plan would have forced all employers to cover their employees.

So just a reminder, Obamacare has its roots in the Republican Party. I will agree with Santorum on one thing--Romney is the worst possible choice. “Pick any other Republican in the country. He is the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama,” Santorum said.

Rick Santorum Doesn't Trust His Kids in the Federal Education Program, So Why Did He?

Rick Santorum is a home schooler. His kids don't go to the public school system. He's been labeled “the most prominent home-schooler in America" as all seven of his children have been home schooled. For many on the right, this is some badge of honor.

Like many things Rick Santorum does, it's negated by Santorum's congressional record. Obviously if Santorum home schools he must be worried about the quality of education, the attack of your child's values by the liberal education system, and the future of his children.

So why is it Rick Santorum voted to expand federal control of education through No Child Left Behind and grow the Department of Education if he knows the system is failing and keeps his own kids out of public schools? As our government becomes a socialist model, we must remember Karl Marx said the key to changing the minds is doing it through the schools.

Santorum claims to be a social conservative, but rather than get the federal government out of education, he promoted its growth and involvement in your child's education. Where is your child's values first scrutinized? That's right their school. What does Rick do to protect your child's social values, well it's not return more control of your schools back to your community. He doubled down saying the federal government was the answer to the problem--not very Reaganesque if you want my opinion.

The Lee Atwater/Karl Rove School of Fixing Elections: The GOP Ethos of Election Tampering

Wow, what a week it's been. The Republican Party is divided like I have never seen before and it all stems to last week's caucuses where more information comes out daily about shenanigans with the Republican establishment. A video release Friday points to how Republican officials planned to ignore caucus rules in an attempt to suffocate certain factions of voters.

In Taney County, after spending $1000 in hopes of shaping the election, Tera Sukman is using the legal system in hopes of reversing the outcome of their county caucus. In Greene County, Mark Wright attempts to ignore caucus rules claiming a majority with less than 50% as it appears he may soon follow. All of this is pushing Obama closer to four more years as these wounds aren't likely to heal anytime soon. I tell you, politics is a nasty game of power hungry people.

So where did this contempt for rules come from in the Republican party--this desire to act like liberals, throw fits, and end up in court? Was it the 2000 election, where Americans picked a side and cheered and booed all the shenanigans in the Florida recount? We could argue the rest of the system crumbles as we turn to trust electronic voting machines that are easily manipulated. It's not longer about fair elections. It's about who controls the power. I fear that's what our election process has become. I don't believe there is much integrity left and I don't think they are going out of their way to hide it anymore. I fear both parties will go to whatever extreme to gain the power and we are now seeing that on a local scale.

Last week during Caucus, Christian County Chair Walt Martens declared there was voter fraud at the caucus, and then spent the next few minutes declaring Republicans don't do these things. However, they do do these things. It's part of the new Republican ethos that has been decades in the making as the neocons advanced in rank.

Where did this new ethos come from in the Republican Party? It's hardly new at all. We can look to the neocon Karl Rove for answers.

Karl Rove was a protoge of Lee Atwater. Atwater was the chairman for the College Republicans and Rove looked to be his successor. In 1973, the College Republicans met in a resort in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri to elect their chair. Rove ran against Robert Edgeworth for the chair position. Rove and Atwater proved they would do whatever it takes to ensure Rove's success, and were even caught throwing out votes. In the end, there were two votes, conducted by two convention chairs, and two winners — Rove and Edgeworth, each of whom delivered an acceptance speech. After the convention, both Edgeworth and Rove appealed to Republican National Committee Chairman George H. W. Bush, each contending that he was the new College Republican chairman.

Jason Conason who attended the event says, "It was pretty clear that Edgeworth actually did have more votes. Lee Atwater and Karl Rove use every conceivable trick. Ballots are thrown away unfairly. The election was appealed to the Republican National Committee chairman, George Herbert Walker Bush. History in the making. He gave the election to Rove— you know, echoes of, you know, the 2000 election in Florida, where the ballots are disputed and the Supreme Court makes the decision on a very dubious basis. That was a pretty early lesson for Karl Rove from Lee, that you could play the hardest of hardball and get away with it."

Rove won, and the rest is history as Atwater and Rove were soon advanced in ranked eventually paying service to the Bush family dynasty.

So anyone who tells you the GOP is about fair elections, remember how Karl Rove advanced in power in the ranks and where is roots were. The GOP doesn't have a history of fair elections, and of course see all Rove's shenanigans were taking place as the county was dealing with Watergate--which was an attempt by a Republican to get an unfair advantage in a presidential election.

Who are we kidding with this belief Republicans run clean elections? Who loses in the end? The people who must deal with both parties playing these games--because it's not just Republicans. It's Democrats too who will go to whatever extreme to win power.

Mark Wright Continues to Complain About the Outcome at Greene County Caucus

If you don't like the results enough, complain and take it to the courts or use whatever means possible to claim the results unfair. It's a tactic we have seen from the Democrats and now Republicans appear to be heading in that same direction after the Missouri Caucus. In the center of the latest argument is Mark Wright, who continues to whine his Rick Santorum delegation lost the Greene County Caucus. Wright writes:

Rick Santorum received 54% of Greene County Republicans vote during the primary election on February 7th and his supporters were almost half of the attendees at the Greene County caucus last Saturday.

However, when all of the delegates were awarded at caucus, Santorum only received 6 delegates out of 111, representing less than 5%. Romney and Paul split up the remaining 95% of the delegates who will now go on to represent Greene County during the coming Congressional and State Conventions.

The question is: How did the voice of the conservative majority in Greene County and the candidate they supported get suppressed twice in five weeks?

Oh yeah, that meaningless primary vote--let's distract them right off and look to a vote that made no sense at all. It was a waste of taxpayer's money as the Missouri GOP decided to take more voters out of the equation by going to a caucus system. Wright asks the question, "how did the voice of the conservative majority in Greene County and the candidate they supported get suppressed twice in five weeks?"

What Mark Wright is doing here is arguing the St. Louis Cardinals finished 10 games out of first place, but they deserve to be in the playoffs because they were ten games ahead in first place in the preseason.

But wait a minute! Mark a majority is 50%+1. He contradicts the idea of a majority by pointing out the Santorum supporters made up less than 50% of the attendees at the GOP Caucus. Wright writes, "his [Rick Santorum] supporters were almost half of the attendees." See the flaw in his logic as he asks the question? There wasn't a majority at the caucus yet through trickery language Wright tries to pass off less than 50% of the attendees as the majority.

This is language that is often used to rally the troops even though it's full of flaws. Over the past week Wright has criticized Ron Paul supporters who attended the caucus--Ron Paul being the only true conservative in the race--especially when you compare Paul to Santorum, who has voted for five debt ceiling increases, expanded federal involvement in your child's education, wants to launch an attack against the First Amendment, and of course helped push Medicare Part D, which built up more unfunded liabilities for the federal government to pay. Yes, I don't think Wright knows what a conservative is considering Santorum is a big government guy.

Mr. Wright needs to be helped with two definitions in this piece--majority and conservative.

Here's the problem with Wright's argument. First he is obviously upset Robert's Rule of Orders requires a 2/3 vote to make changes to the rule. How unrepublican is it, knowing Republicans believe in the rule of law, to point the finger at the other factions who turned out the numbers while ignoring the fact they simply did not have enough Santorum supporters at the caucus. Not only did they not have 2/3, they didn't have 1/2. Who should Mr. Wright point his finger at?

That's right--Santorum voters who didn't show up to the Greene County Caucus to back the meaningless primary vote. Over the years I have learned conservatism requires a belief in self-responsibility. Here is Wright claiming he represents the conservative majority in Greene County by not taking responsibility for getting enough Santorum voters to the caucus--no he blames all the other people that showed up.

Caucus observers claimed Romney supporters numbered less than 5% of attendees, which is understandable due to the lack of votes he received from traditional conservative voters on February 7th. However, Romney was disproportionally given almost 45% of the delegates. That is truly fuzzy math!

Romney party operatives unfazed by the lack of support for their candidate at the caucus, decided to make an end run around the conservative majority. By combining their efforts with the libertarian leaning Paul operatives they were able to virtually shut out conservative champion Rick Santorum.

Conservative champion Rick Santorum? Please--how many generations are going to have to pay for Santorum's big government ways? Don't get me wrong, Romney is no saint when it comes to smaller government, but I can't let Mr. Wright get away with these claims. The Santorum record isn't conservative.

None the less, what Wright isn't telling you as he claims fuzzy caucus math was used against Santorum is Santorum's delegation wanted 100% of the delegates in Greene County--and this is without even 50% showing up. So it's fair when the fuzzy math works out for Mark Wright's delegation, but the fuzzy math sucks when it doesn't work to Wright's desires.

The bottom line here is the Santorum crowd got greedy. They got real greedy, and it cost them tremendously in the end as Billy Long whored for deals with other groups who showed up to caucus. It's probably only a matter of days until Wright files papers to contest the election just like Tera Sukman did in Taney County. Go to the courts to get the decision you want--isn't that what liberals do?

I remind Mark he should be happy he at least got some delegates. In neighboring Christian County, the Santorum supporters took all of them in an act of fuzzy math that didn't consider that 1/3 of the attendees there when the caucus began was for Ron Paul. Want to complain about the fuzzy math in Christian County Mark, or do you just want to come to terms this is how the caucus process works.

Congratulations to Ozark JROTC Precision Air Rifle Team: National Champions

I want to congratulate the Ozark JROTC Precision Air Rifle Team. In their first year of competition, they won the national championship this weekend in Anniston, AL. They competed in the all services event taking top honors in the precision competition.

Rick Santorum's War on Porn Might "Protect the Children" but Then Again He Did Honor Jerry Sandusky

Rick Santorum announced a couple weeks ago he was going to go to Washington an fight a war against pornography. The Religious right overlooking the dangers that such a war would have on the First Amendment--forgetting the Song of Solomon in the Bible is quite erotic--cheered pushing Rick as a savior of children against child pornographers. This by no means makes me an advocate for child pornography, but these things are better handled in the states through the 10th Amendment as the federal government has no Constitutional authority to fight a war on pornography like Santorum wants.

Wasn't Rick Santorum the same Congressman who awarded Jerry Sandusky, the former Penn State assistant football coach who engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with minors, the Congressional Angels in Adoption Award. Yeah, Santorum has an outstanding record of protecting the children... Even Keith Olbermann is smart enough to figure out what the religious right hasn't, and boy isn't that saying something.

Remember, Sandusky had been accused five times of inappropriate behavior with children when Rick Santorum honored this sick man.

Ron Paul Takes St. Louis and Jackson County in Missouri

The Republican party's plot to destroy Ron Paul by suffocating his support during caucus has blown up in their faces. Earlier this week, Bryan Spencer was caught on video describing how the Missouri Republican Party planned to keep Ron Paul supporters out of the debate. In the end it was Ron Paul and his supporters who had the last laugh.

The city of St. Louis caucus and the Jackson County Republican Caucus made a huge statement in presidential politics yesterday as Missouri is often considered a bellwether state. They both went to caucus and in the end Ron Paul came out victorious.

St. Louis Today reports:

Paul’s backers dominated GOP caucuses in St. Louis and Jackson County on Saturday. Paul won all 36 delegates here while taking about two-thirds of the delegates in Jackson County, showing that the complex process favors passion and organization over mainstream appeal.

The St. Louis caucus was relatively orderly and took fewer than two hours in the cafeteria at St. Louis Community College at Forest Park. It bore little resemblance to the rancorous gathering March 17 in St. Charles that was ultimately shut down after an energetic crowd objected to rules and an attempted ban on videotaping. Police also arrested two Paul supporters during that caucus.

"I am so happy that this caucus has concluded in a fair way," said Jesse Irwin, a member of the slate for Paul. "The GOP in the city of St. Louis — the central committee — did a great job organizing."

Religious Right Santorum Voter Picks Out Bible Verses to Attack Ron Paul Supporters

I recently came across post-caucus rhetoric produced by a Rick Santorum supporter on Facebook. Ignoring Jesus's most basic message of "love one another" Republicans like Jenny Head Limcher on her Facebook page, Header turns to scripture to attack Ron Paul supporters.

As a Christian I am offended. I would never use scripture like this to attack any group of voters to justify an attempt to label these people evil. If Jesus's most basic message is "love one another" and it is, I am saddened by the use of God's word to attack a group of people who love their country enough to participate in the process and present arguments for what they believe is the best direction for the country.

I think this is just sick.

John 13:34 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

When you let politics get in the way of this commandment, you probably should reconsider the direction of your life. This message on Facebook is one of hate and not one of love.

Tom Stilson for Congress: Does a 24 Year Old Kid Living With Mom and Dad Have the Experience Needed?

Tom Stilson
Tom Stilson was a surprise addition to the August ballot in what may be either an attempt by Republicans in Christian County to end Billy Long's tenure in Congress at two years or ensure two more years of Congressman Long. It's an interesting play by members of the Christian County Central Committee considering who is putting their seal of approval on this political lightweight whose claim to fame seems to be a couple articles on Breitbart, a baseball career at Ozark High School, and fresh degree in Environmental Geochemistry at University of California, Merced (not economics). I can't help but think back two years ago when candidates with real life experience like Jeff Wisdom, who teaches economics and came to the campaign with a solid economic plan to fix Washington, were told they needed to drop out and pay their dues by the Republican establishment on more than one occasion. So now we have Tom Stilson, who it appears is backed by key members of the Christian County Central Committee who aren't telling him he needs to pay his dues despite only being 24.

I have to ask who is going to take a 24 year old kid who still lives with mom and dad in rural Christian County seriously. It comes down the simple question, what does Tom Stilson understand about dealing with every day problems under pressure and life in general that makes him worthy of my vote? How has his values been tested, molded, and proven?

If Stilson hopes to make a legitimate career in politics, why is he shooting for the top with such a light resume; after all, there are plenty of state and local opportunities this year to get his feet wet before asking voters to send him to Mordor on the Potomac with all its temptations. What does he know about paying the mortage, feeding a family, going to work and making ends meet and truly budgeting on a limited number of funds? There is a common sense that comes from average people that is needed in Washington.

I asked Stilson why he was running for Congress. The answer I got may give some insight to why he may have entered this race.

In this campaign, I will not directly attack Billy Long. I believe his record speaks for itself. I would not be running if I saw Billy as a true conservative.

How does a 24 year old kid with no political experience plan to win this race if he plays nice with the incumbent--the same incumbent who ran on a fed up platform and then embraced Washington the second his plane touched down at Reagan National? He isn't. Unless you directly attack Billy Long on his record, which includes voting for the debt ceiling, the Patriot Act, the National Defense Authorization Act (which includes indefinite detainment of Americans without due process), a lack of serious budget cuts including the failed promise of $100 billion in spending cuts, expanding government through the Department of Homeland Security, funding for the fraudulent law suit known as Pigford that gives away billions more of your tax dollars, and on and on. Most of these issues Long supported Stilson says he opposes--but not passionately enough for direct attacks.

This kid doesn't have a chance considering his resume, which is even a lesser resume than Congressman Long's resume two years ago, the fact he has no real life experience to relate and deal with the temptations in Washington, has no real examples of leadership outside of school and JROTC, he still lives with his parents, and isn't willing to launch direct attacks on Billy Long. So recalling candidates like Michael Wardell and Mike Moon telling me over and over how members of the Republican establishment pressured them to exit the 2010 race and pay their dues before shooting for federal office, what is the game Stilson plays?

Could it be a deal breaker for Mike Moon to split the votes to ensure Billy Long's reelection? While those outside of politics may think that sounds crazy, those of use who have gotten close enough to the game understand this is how it is played knowing Stilson's political career will be shaped in future consideration if he pays his dues in 2012.

Of course there could be other reasons he is running to. He may actually believe his rhetoric on his Web site that plays the Constitutional conservative crowd, but then again there was the article his mother wrote at Atlas Shrugs that insulted the very same voters Stilson hopes to attract to his campaign.

What I am trying to figure out is if Tom Stilson is genuine about protecting individual rights like he writes on his Web site...

The individual’s Constitutional protection from warrantless, government intrusion is being violated by the Federal Government. The NDAA, Patriot Act, IRS code, administrative regulations, numerous Executive Orders and other well-intended legislation have opened the door for abuse of Constitutional rights. The nation’s security can be assured without the loss of Constitutional Due Process, restricted freedoms, or suspension of liberties. Tom supports repeal of these acts and regulations in favor of legislation that reflects our Founding Fathers’ intentions while continuing to guarantee national security.

Then why is his family insulting the same voters who sat in a Christian County Caucus supporting the only presidential candidate that continues to fight for these individual rights?

These are answers Tom Stilson and his family should answer, but they won't. I want to know what experience Stilson has to effective shrink a $16 trillion national debt. How will his lack of political experience and age play to challenging the republican establishment, which there are signs he already embraces--the same establishment who has done little since getting to Congress to reverse the trend of big government?

Has Congressional Candidate Tom Stilson's Mother Alienated a Large Portion of Conservative Voters in His Race Against Billy Long?

Remember Laura S. who wrote the article in Atlas Shrugs last week attacking Ron Paul supporters who attended the Christian County Caucus? Laura S. accused Ron Paul supporters, labeling them Paulbots, of causing total disorder to the Christian County Caucus while trying to connect it to now controversial St. Charles County Caucus, the same caucus where Republican officials have now been caught admitting to rigging the caucus.

In that blog post, the author notes she is the neighbor of the caucus chair. Laura S. writes:

..this video is a gross misrepresentation of the truth and it is disgusting. The guy they are saying is crooked is my neighbor for 11 years and he is honest as the day is long. The man had the patience of Job and he bent over backwards to be fair for 6 hours of BS.

The neighbor Laura S speaks of introduced himself last night to congressional candidate Mike Moon, who is also running for Congress, as the Taney County Lincoln Day was finishing. In their conversation that Moon shared with me today during a telephone conversation, the neighbor introduced himself as having a position in the other challenger to Billy Long's campaign. He also stated he was the neighbor of that candidate as he asked Mike Moon not to run for Congress against his candidate and Billy Long.

After Moon shared with me the conversation he had, I went back to the Atlas Shrugs article remembering the defense of the caucus chair. There was that paragraph--the 11 year neighbor to Walt Martens, the caucus chair.

I then looked upon the introduction paragraph which reads:

Much thanks to Atlas reader Laura S, for her on-scene coverage of the Ronulians putsch at the Christian County Republican caucus. This is the Ronulian MO at caucuses around the country. They are a pox on our house.

Could this be Laura Stilson?

I go to Facebook and find Tom Stilson, the 24 year old Congressional candidate's mom is named Laura Stilson.

When you click on her friends, the first friend that popped up was Pamela Geller, the founder of the Atlas Shrugs blog. Atlas Shrugged was the blog that posted the profanity laced and poorly written attack on Ron Paul supporters complete with a nicotine fit episode.

So doing a Google and Zaba Search we learn some things about Tom Stilson, his mom, and Walt Martens, the chair of the Christian County Caucus. They are neighbors living on a small rural road south of Ozark called Cash Spring Road just off County Road W.

So basically what we have here is a candidate's mom who is alienating a group of voters who are both Constitutional and conservative that her son will soon call upon for votes in hopes of beating Congressman Long. Her rant appears to go along with the script that Republican committee members across the state of Missouri in hopes of suffocating and giving Ron Paul supporters a bad name, which Breitbart blogger Bob McCarty has been exposing all week.

Looking at Tom Stilson's new Congressional Web site, it is obvious he has Tea Party and Constitutional voters in mind. Why alienate these voters by posting a rant on Atlas Shrugs in hopes of bad mouthing Ron Paul supporters with distortions while putting so much information like who your neighbor is? Laura Stilson obviously doesn't consider her son's campaign and what upsetting a large group of voters might mean in August.

I have another question here though too after going through records noting that Congressional Candidate Tom Stilson still lives with his parents according to the records files with the Secretary of State. How can voters take a 24 year old kid who still lives with his parents seriously as someone who can lead our country out of these hard times when this kid hasn't even left home to earn real life experiences outside of college? He best first get his mother under control first if he plans to make a serious attempt at this race, and he is going to have a hard time convincing voters struggling to make house payments he has the answers. Alienating large voter blocks when facing an incumbent isn't politically intelligent when the candidate has a mountain to climb.

Of course, intelligence isn't a word I would use to describe his mother's rant on Atlas Shrugged:

Hubby and myself were in the Christian County Republican caucus today. It was insane.

Nobody got arrested like in St Charles, because our sheriff was the sargent in arms--but it got nutso from the get go....

The Ron Paulites tried to take over the process by bastardizing Robert Rules of order, objecting to every teeny tiny thing.

Their leader stood up and threaten to take their votes to Obama if the the majority did not respect the Ron paul minority and elect the chosen Ron paul delegates.

Six freakin' hours it lasted. And another tactic they used was to call for a bathroom recess, right after a motion had been seconded to go to vote...since recess took precedent, we had no need to go to the bathroom if you aren't drinking any flippin' beverages.

My hubby was attacked by a major nicotine fit. It was not pretty and accompanied by much grumbling.

Through it all the moderators kept their cool and bent over backwards for those rowdy Paulites.

The Paulites have their Alinsky down pat and it was obvious they had studied well.

6 freakin' hours looked in the local HS with these maniacs.

The clencher was when the Paulites claimed "voter fraud"...as the one paper ballot was collected and the Pailites demanded there be a head count of qualified voters in the room.
The head count demand was pretty much 15 minutes AFTER the paper ballots were collected....and after several of the Paulites had turned in their ballot..they left.
resulting n a four vote descepancy that did not affect the outcome in any reasonable way shape or form since the paulites were out voted by over 150 votes.

It was like dealing with leftists. Same tactics..right down to calling the one of the delegate slates..the "fair delegate" slate.

They wasted a lot of ppl's time with the insane antics...

I am sure Tom Stilson is a nice kid as we have mutual friends who speaks highly of him. These mistakes show Tom and his mother aren't ready for Congress.

Ozark High School Parents Blindly Prepare to Send their Kids Off to Socialist Indoctrination

The following is from the Intellectual Conservative. Ozark parents, isn't your kid's education worth finding out the truth?

The Bush administration’s schizophrenic relationship with the United Nations continues unabated. It is dazzling to watch one part of the administration rebuke the UN for failing to respond to the threats of dictatorships to American security while another zealously takes up a UN program designed to create a generation of Americans educated to believe in a system of global government.

It is astonishing that the Bush administration has begun issuing grants to help spread a United Nations propaganda program that describes itself as a “universal curriculum” for teaching global citizenship, peace studies and equality of world cultures. The US Department of Education has issued its first $1.2 million grant to implement the UN’s International Baccalaureate (IB) program to middle schools that are to become feeder schools for the IB’s high school diploma program in low-income school districts.

The IB program had been adopted by about 1,450 schools in 115 countries, including 502 schools in the United States. The Bush administration grants will expand the IB program initially in Arizona, Massachusetts, and New York.

Children caught between the comparable “New Civics” curriculum now being implemented and the IB program will have no concept of the US ideals of limited government controlled by “We the People.” They will be fully indoctrinated into accepting the idea of a one-world government that only recognizes the power of the state to “grant” our rights. Gone is Thomas Jefferson’s idea of unalienable rights. They were “self evident” to Jefferson and those who sacrificed their lives for American independence, but the new curriculum views them as antiquated curiosities.

Yet, this is what Education Secretary Rod Paige calls “world-class education.” Most everyone else would call the IB program “socialism.” Worse, such indoctrination is taking place in public school classrooms, paid for by taxpayer dollars, and forced on unsuspecting children. What makes this more infuriating is that it’s being funded and implemented by a Republican administration!

This same administration and its educational programs has recently been called to task in a report, the “American Diploma Project.” The result of cooperation between three major think tanks, the report concludes that, “The diploma has lost its value because what it takes to earn one is disconnected from what it takes for graduates to compete successfully beyond high school -- either in the classroom or the workplace.”

Coupled with the IB program, not only will American students be taught that allegiance to America, our governmental and economic systems, should be replaced by global citizenship, but the diplomas they are earning are just a “broken promise” of the education they should have received!

The educational system in America is in total meltdown. E.D. Hirsch, Jr., author of The Schools We Need: And Why We Don’t Have Them, has written that “Successful reading requires more than an ability to decode or ‘sound out’ words. It also requires adequate background knowledge or ‘cultural literacy.’ Without background knowledge of history, literature, art, music, science and math, students will read, but without comprehension.”

With the UN-sponsored International Baccalaureate (IB), instituted at the middle school level, American students will be taught a curriculum that stresses code words such as human rights and social justice, but which in practice the UN has never successfully been able to implement or enforce. Many of the members of the UN are some of the world’s worst dictatorships, guilty of the worst abuses of human rights and social justice.

Moreover, American children will be taught about the environmental scheme called “sustainable development” that, in reality, means blocking development for almost any reason because it requires using the Earth’s natural resources. They will be indoctrinated to accept the UN’s views on immigration, population, health, and other environmental concerns.

They will not learn about the values that have sustained the United States of America and which make it a magnet for freedom-hungry people around the world. Instead, the curriculum teaches about the failed system of socialism. George Walker, IB’s director-general, based in Geneva, Switzerland, says the program is committed to changing children’s values so they think globally, rather than in “parochial national terms from their own country’s viewpoint…”

New Ron Paul Attacks Mitt Romney--FINALLY

There has been lots of rumors recently Ron Paul is going somehow help the most liberal Republican of all get to the White House. Ron Paul finally attacks Mitt Romney with an Etch a Sketch and brings the other two clowns along for the ride.

If Ron Paul's latest and most brilliant ad isn't enough, then check out the following five minute video showing not only the crimes against the Constitution Obama committed but the crimes the Republican party have also committed in any indication, the rumor has been a flat out lie. The new ad hits Mitt Romney and the establishment hard.

Video of the Christian County Republican Caucus 2012

Things to watch for in the video:

1. Secret ballots were not handed out properly and the Christian County Chairman told everyone at the beginning of the meeting if you didn’t one to go get one. How many when back for their second ballot?

2. When the secret ballots were counted, how many were they off?

3. Caucus Chairman announced voter fraud then did nothing about it. If there was in fact voter fraud that he announced then all of the secret ballot vote should have been thrown out.

4. In the crucial two thirds vote battle, the Caucus Chairman would only do a recount of the negative vote in which 3 or 4 more people were discovered to be uncounted. He refused to recount of the affirmative vote by the same method of row by row counting in which their 257 number could have also been off by at least 10 people based on the poor count of the negative side.

5. The Republican Establishment created a slate called the Christian County Central Committee Slate which did not include the entire central committee. There are about 26 seated committeemen and women and there were 37 delegate slots. {Plenty of room for everyone on the Central Committee to be on it}. At the very least two committee people were not include on that slate Thomas Taylor and Melissa Wagner. For them to call their slate the Central Committee Slate was fraudulent at best and disingenuous at least.

6. Many people were upset and rightly so that these slates were created in back door smoke filled rooms letting the privileged elite of the county pick and choose their crony friends. New people at the caucus were lambasted and that they should be more involved before coming to such an event if they wanted on the slate. What a good way to get people involved in the process to disenfranchise all the newbies at their first event. The truth is, that if you are not a crony insider republican you cannot get on even if you are on the central committee like Thomas Taylor and Melissa Wagner who know the rules, who played by the rules and who have spent 4 years with the Christian County Central Committee.

7. There are audio recordings and videos that I am sure the public will want to see and listen to and that the Romney, Gingrich and Paul camps might find legitimate reason to disqualify the entire Christian County proceedings. (Will be coming out later today.)

8. A fair slate of all disenfranchised camps was created on the fly so they had skin in the game and support the party in November but the "two thirds" majority wanted to be greedy and uncompromising essentially disentrancing any oppositional voices. So because of this, they may really lose it all.

Hidden Camera Shows Missouri GOP Planned to Suffocate Certain Votes at Caucus

Jamie Allman's Facebook page has a video taken at a Republican meeting. Allman writes about the video:

“Via Brent Stafford. Another admission that rules of the caucus were created to suffocate certain votes and limit the freedom Caucuses were designed to provide. Again. This is not the business of committeemen to decide what is fair when it comes to winning delegates.”

The description of the video: Bryan Spencer, Former St. Charles County Republican Central Committeeman and Caucus Subcommittee Chairman, admits to premeditated rigging of the St. Charles County Caucus.

St. Charles Committee Woman Attacks "Back Room Deal" Between St. Charles GOP and Rick Santorum

At the Christian County Caucus, after voter fraud was announced, the chair scolded the crowd saying this isn't how Republicans are supposed to act. I guess someone didn't get the memo in St. Charles County, because as many of us suspected, the Missouri Republican Party has been caught playing the same games they claim only Democrats play.

Bob McCarty has been on the story all week, and his articles have provided insight all week to the corruption within the Republican ranks. Now we have a committee woman who was supporting Rick Santorum suddenly speaking out against Santorum and the St. Charles Central Committee. From FM 97.1 earlier this morning.
