Sarah Palin Calls Republicans Wusses and Socialists
The Republican establishment isn't happy with Sarah Palin for calling them "wusses". I can't really argue with Mama Grizzly on this considering it took wussy John Boehner less than 24 hours after Barack Obama was reelected to begin lining up behind Dear Leader and begin talking raising taxes upon Obama's demands. Palin said on Hannity calling Republicans like Boehner "wusses":
“So I say, Republicans, go back to what the planks in your platform represent,” Palin said Monday. “It represents reining in government, putting back the power and the responsibility in the individual, not in the state, not in government. Again, that gets us towards socialism. What goes beyond socialism…is communism. I know I’m going to get slammed for speaking so bluntly about what’s going on here, but that’s exactly what is going on.”
Of course Palin is going to get slammed. The Republicans have been on this trail to socialism for so long it would be uncomfortable now to change their ways. Look at how big they grew government during the George W. Bush years with more socialized medicine through Medicare Part D and more control of your child's education with a plan Karl Marx himself would be proud of, No Child Left Behind.
The Republican Party doesn't believe in liberty, freedom, and the Constitution. They are a merry band of statists pushing candidates like Mitt Romney to their top spot with his horrible record of signing gun control laws and inspiring Obamacare. It is these same statists in the Republican party who began lining up behind Obama the day after the election ready to raise taxes trying to pretend we haven't already gone off the financial cliff.
I can't say I disagree with Sarah Palin at all. The Republicans have for too long headed in the wrong direction, and they are showing their hands now--and they aren't moving back to the right. The only thing I disagree with Palin over on this one is she apologized for calling these wusses "wusses".
