Jesse Ventura's Unfair Spin on Sheriff Joey Kyle During 72,000 Sq Foot Bunker in Ozark Conspiracy Show

Last summer, former Minnesota governor came to Ozark, Missouri, ready to determine why a defense contractor is building a 72,000 square foot bunker south of town in Highlandville near Busiek State Park. The show tries to make the case the Illuminati is moving to the Ozarks because of the many caves and a series of man-made underground tunnels and caverns called the Springfield Underground, where food, powerful computers, and military equipment is stored through a massive underground warehouse system.

Jesse Ventura spins this to make it seem like Sheriff Joey Kyle is part of the conspiracy. This is where the show gets silly. Let's put this in perspective. What is one of Sheriff Kyle's job?

Well, according to Alex Jones, and he is correct in saying it, one of the jobs of the county sheriff is to protect  private property from unwanted trespassers. Jones, Ventura's buddy, will be one of the first to tell you this is the job of the Sheriff and it includes escorting federal agents off the property if it is the property owner's wish, as long as the federal government doesn't have search warrants. In other words, Sheriff Kyle was doing his job.

For good TV, Ventura makes it appear Sheriff Kyle is part of the conspiracy behind the mysterious Ozarks bunker. Ventura goes as far as making it appear Sheriff Kyle would be some kind of plot that would soon have Ventura, the former governor, face down in the mud.

Based on Ventura and Kyle's background, they are both connected to the Navy Seals. While I don't believe Kyle was a Seal, I remember him telling me he played a support role in Navy Seals operations. Knowing Sheriff Kyle, I doubt Kyle would treat Ventura in any manner outside of the law. Remember, Kyle's office was attacked before the Republican primary because of the training appropriations approved by Sheriff Kyle. What the public didn't hear, which Kyle explained to me in an interview, is this training is to get his deputies to remain calm when they are called to duty and not make rash decisions that often turn into unneeded confrontations.

Here's Ventura, insulting the region as a bunch of hillbillies (hey they are here, but his comments aren't realistic) coming in here creating great drama to build up ratings for his television show while creating an image of Sheriff Kyle that just can't be justified. Kyle was more than accommodating and managed to get Ventura and crew close to that house than most of the people watching it go up in the Ozark hills. Those who live in the area understand the surveillance and the purple property boundaries around the house reminding you to keep out. It is after all private property.



Let's put this in perspective. Let's say the former WWF wrestler decided he wants to build a mansion in Christian County, and the WWF fans trespass on his property hoping to get an autograph of Jesse "the Body". If Ventura didn't want these fans on his property, he would ask Sheriff Kyle to do the very same thing Steven Huff obviously wished Sheriff Kyle to do with Ventura.

Sheriff Kyle was more than courteous answering questions and even giving some insight to the house to support there is definitely something more to this house than it being just a single family dwelling.
