Guaranteed Story in 2013: Teacher Fired for Conceal and Carry at School

Isn't it sad we send our kids off to schools knowing there is little to protect them these days? If there is a lesson to be learned in these tragic school shootings it is that we should be doing more to encourage teachers and administrators to take conceal and carry classes. However, that is unlikely to happen.

While I would never advocate mandatory conceal and carry at school, administrators and teachers should be allowed to make a responsible choice in the right to protect themselves and the decision to protect your child. If a teacher takes a conceal and carry class and has been given a license to conceal and carry, I think it would be a responsible act to practice this at their jobs considering the trends in violence in the classroom. Gun free zones aren't working and aren't protecting our kids from Prozac enraged mentally ill, Godless, heartless gunmen.

Teachers with a conceal and carry permit who carry in the classroom with one intention--protect their classroom from the unwelcome gunman--is really your child's last line of defense.

I am going to make a prediction. As schools get out for Christmas break this week, there are going to be many teachers who go home for the break and consider what they would do if they are ever put in this situation. There will be teachers who make the choice to conceal and carry in the classroom.

In 2013, these teachers will be made an example of. There will be major news stories in 2013 driven by the left wing liberal media of teachers losing their jobs because they made the decision they were going to protect their kids and execute the right of self-defense for themselves at their jobs. It's not going to be long until we hear of a teacher or teachers getting fired because they have had enough of these Godless, soulless, mentally ill shooters slaying students in the classroom.

I bet we hear of many of these teachers.

  2. I have a Concealed Carry and have given consideration to doing what you have covered in this article, well before this last shooting! I do not want to risk being fired and charged with a federal offense but I want to also be able to protect my family, myself, and those in my charge.
    Americans need to insist on our Unalienable Rights. I share the following from the 5000 Year Leap, the 8th Principle: Men are endowed by their Creator with Certain Unalienable Rights. Our Founders did not believe that the basic rights of mankind originated from any social compact, king, emperor, or governmental authority. Those rights they believed, came directly and exclusively from God. Therefore, they were to be maintained sacred and inviolate. John Locke said it this way: "The state of Nature has a law of Nature to govern it, which . . . teaches all mankind who will but consult it, that being all equal and independent, no one ought to harm another in his life, health, liberty or possessions; for men being all the workmanship of one omnipotent and infinitely wise maker; all the servants of one sovereign master, sent into the world by His order and about His business; they are His property. . . And being furnished with like faculties, sharing all in one community of Nature, there cannot be supposed any such subordination among us that may authorize us to destroy one another."
    When is a Right Unalienable? "Those rights, then, which God and nature have established, and are therefore called natural rights, such as are life and liberty, need not the aid of human laws to be more effectually invested in every man than they are; neither do they receive any additional strength when declared by the municipal laws to be inviolable. On the contrary, no human legislature has power to abridge or destroy them, unless the owner shall himself commit some act that amounts to forfeiture" - William Blackstone
    When the Founders adopted the Declaration of Independence, they emphasized in phrases very similar to those of Blackstone that God has endowed all mankind "with certain unalienable rights, that AMONG these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Let us identify some of the unalienable or natural rights which the Founders knew existed but did not enumerate in the Declaration of Independence:

    • The right of self-government
    • The right to bear arms for self-defense
    • The right to own, develop, and dispose of property
    • The right to make personal choices
    • The right of free conscience
    • The right to choose a mate
    • The right to beget one's kind
    • The right to assemble
    • The right to petition
    • The right to free speech
    • The right to free press
    • The right to enjoy the fruits of one's labors
    • The right to improve one's position through barter and sale
    • The right to contrive and invent
    • The right to explore the natural resources of the earth
    • The right to privacy
    • The right to provide personal security
    • The right to provide nature's necessities - air, food, water, clothing and shelter
    • The right to a fair trial
    • The right of free association
    • The right to contract
    The Three Great Natural Rights - "The right to personal security; the right of personal liberty; and the right of private property; because as there is no other known method of compulsion, or of abridging man's natural free will, but by infringement or diminution of one or other of these important rights, the preservation of these, inviolate, may justly be said to include the preservation of our civil immunities in their largest and most extensive sense." - William Blackstone
    Life, Liberty, and property do not exist because men have made laws. On the contrary, it was the fact that life, liberty, and property existed before hand that caused men to make laws (for the protection of the) in the first place. (Frederic Bastiat, The Law, 1974, pp 5-6)
    A lot here for Americans to consider when it comes to the progressive call to unarm all of us!
