#fireboehner John Boehner Caves on Tax Increases

The day after the election, John Boehner gave us insight that he was willing to work with Obama and lead Republicans to raise taxes. Today, we find out Boehner wasn't kidding.

Even with calls from conservatives for Boehner to be fired, Boehner is leading the Republicans to tax increases, not learning from history that tax increases are neither kind to the economy nor Republican reelection.


Speaker John Boehner proposed raising tax rates for the wealthiest Americans. You know the same people who create jobs and will soon be dealing with that other tax increase known as Obamacare?

What we are seeing take place in front of our eyes is Boehner leading Republicans off the cliff, as they will surely lose the House in 2014. (Think 1992 and Read My Lips.) This also could very well set up a Hillary presidency in 2016, as the Republicans are going to further distance themselves from their conservative base.
