    Being prepared is just good old fashioned common sense. Our parents knew this. They canned and preserved food they grew, kept kerosene lamps and candles, and had a sugar jar full of cash.

    Now people can't even change a washer in a faucet and think their soy latte will always be available at the corner yuppie coffee house. Dweebs!
