Mitt Romney Picks Decepticon Paul Ryan for VP

It should be no surprise Mitt Romney went with a safe establishment pick for vice president. The liberal Massachusetts Republican has chose Paul Ryan of Wisconsin to be his Vice Presidential running mate. I am not in impressed. Here is what true Constitutional conservatives need to know about Paul Ryan.

Paul Ryan claim to fame is the Road Map for America, and you may have heard recently about this and Ryan's budget, which didn't get passed. Republicans try to pass it off as the solution for the national debt, but in reality, Ryan's plan doesn't make in serious dents in the national debt until 2040, which means Ryan isn't as serious as they claim when it comes to cutting runaway spending in Washington.

Ryan chose big government and against the Constitution many times over the past four years. Ryan voted for TARP, the auto bailouts, and voted to make the Fourth Amendment killing Patriot Act, which gives the federal government great power to unconstitutionally spy on American, permanent. Does Paul Ryan sound as appealing as Fox News would have  you believe when you consider he voted to give the largest corporate welfare checks to some of the most fiscal irresponsible decision makers ever while voting against the Constitution?

Why should any of us be surprised? Paul Ryan represents the direction of the Republican establishment--more government and less freedom while using Fox News to tell us otherwise. This was predictable, and Ryan is a friendly, young face to look at giving the high maintenance Romney added sex appeal to help with the female vote that has been slipping from Romney in the past few weeks. (Yes this is how they think in Washington. The Republicans look down  upon you just like the Democrats do. Remember, it came out Sarah Palin was chosen to sure up the redneck vote for the unpopular moderate John McCain.)

In the end, Romney still doesn't earn my vote. He is just too liberal and too establishment.
