Jesse Jackson Jr. Has a Drinking Problem and the Jackson Beer Distributorship

Erich Mancow Muller loves to tell the story of how one Jesse Jackson Sr. attempted to remove malt liquor advertisements from the billboards of Chicago streets in black neighborhoods. At the time Jackson's cause was worthy as he hoped to curve alcoholism in the black community. Somewhere along the way, it turns out Jesse Jackson's crusade was soon silenced and soon he was the owner of one of the largest beer distributorships in the country pushing Anheuser Busch products. I am sure, since you are probably fully aware of the tactics of Jesse Jackson Sr., where everything is motivated by money and power, how this came about.


Well, Karma really is a good kick in the butt sometimes. We learn today Jesse Jackson Jr. is having his own battles with alcohol.



“The congressman is receiving intensive medical treatment at a residential treatment facility for a mood disorder,” says a statement attributed to Jackson’s doctor.  “He is responding positively to treatment…”
The congressman’s office quickly added, “The rumors about him being treated for alcohol or substance abuse are not true.”


But a family friend tells NBC News tonight that the congressman’s problems run much deeper.  That he has severe clinical depression, a drinking problem or a problem with alcohol with treatment at a facility in Arizona.


Earlier Wednesday NBC News reported that missing Illinois Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. had been found. 


Andrea Mitchell reported that sources told her the 2nd District Congressman reportedly has been In Arizona receiving treatment for alcoholism.

I wish Jesse Jackson Jr. the best in his battle against alcoholism as I have witnessed it first hand of how it destroys a person and affects the people around them as I once thought I could save a woman I was dating who was an alcoholic. It is a tough road. However, I am reminded about Jesse Jackson Sr.'s crusade in Chicago and the results of how as usual, Jesse Jackson Sr. is so easily bought by the powers that be.

It's all about Jesse Jackson may be what ultimately costs him his son.
