Rolling Stone Describes Paul McCartney as a "Small c Conservative"?

We all know Paul McCartney, the animal rights, PETA supporting Beatle. Since I was eight, Macca and the Beatles have had a huge influence in my life. Honestly, I never thought I would see the day where McCartney is described as a conservative. It happened in the most unlikeliest of places.

It appears Sir Paul is a fiscal conservative who may be worried about the great amount of debt the world amasses.

From Rolling Stone:

McCartney can be something of a small-c conservative: Chatting about the state of the world in Studio Two, he delivers a disquisition about government debt that's hard to imagine coming from any other rock god: There's this whole idea of 'borrow forever,' whereas my theory, which was instilled in my by my dad, was, 'Don't get under an obligation to anyone ever. If you need anything, wait until you can afford it, then get it.'"
