Matthew Block Proves He's Committed to Constituents

Block and I quickly engage in a conversation. He wasn't quick to rush off to meet the neighbors next door. Rather he sincerely wanted to know what I felt the problems where that faced our community and our state. In a simple word I stated "sovereignty". For the next few minutes, Block listened as I explained how states rights are under threat as well as the sovereignty of our Republic as the United Nations infiltrates our local high school with the International Baccalaureate and its Agenda 21 push. I get the feeling talking to Mr. Block that he is someone who will go to Jefferson City and fight for our state sovereignty, that needs to be protected today now more than ever as the federal government pushes past the limits of its Constitutional powers in efforts like Obamacare.
Block impressed me not just during the talk but afterwards. You see Christian County politicians are like Japanese beetles during the first week of summer. It's hard to do anything in Christian County without them reminding you to vote for them, but they soon forget who you are after talking to you. In the four years I have lived in Ozark many of them have knocked on my door, but no one has ever written a hand written thank you after visiting until Block knocked on my door.
Block has shown he will be committed to his constituents with this little gesture that I have never encountered before. This is important.
I hear a lot of talk out there about ABO--Anyone But Obama--this year. Voters ignore that Willard "Mitt for Brains" Romney's record is almost identical to Obama's from abortion, to supporting gun control, to failed green energy initiatives, to mandated healthcare--heck Mitt even forced Catholic Hospitals of Massachusetts to administer abortion pills. If you think change is going to come from Washington, a place I think would insult George Washington himself and would be better identified as "Mordor on the Potomac", by getting Obama out of the way for another liberal wearing Republican stripes, you are sadly kidding yourself.
Change must start on the local level by electing state representatives and republican county committee members to place pressure on these reps, like Block may soon be, to fight back and stand up for states rights whenever the federal government produces a law like Obamacare or the National Defense Authorization Act, where Republicans like Billy Long handed Obama the power to indefinitely detain Americans without due process. We must send people to Jefferson City who will fight this tyranny and protect our states rights and our civil rights. Block assured me he is that person.
Remember that. The most important vote you cast this year is on the state and local level--not the federal level; although that is why most people will head to the polls.
