Paying Karzai Off and Afghanistan is Still a Mess

The national debt continues to rise at an alarming rate. Even with Republicans in control of the purse in Congress, they still managed to create another $1 trillion plus in new debt last year. The Republicans haven't steered us off course to a safe more responsible era of fiscal responsibility. The United States is still pay wacko leaders around the world to comply with our policies without success as well.

At least we are getting a thank you out of it. ABC reports:

Isn't that nice of Mr. Karzai to thank us for the billions of dollars we sent to Afghanistan. We are heading over the "fiscal cliff" here in the United States according to Congressional Republicans, but at least the people of Afghanistan are better because of it. 

Really, how much more stable is the region after pumping billions into Afghanistan? Anyone notice the body count of American soldiers has been on the rise? Probably not because the mainstream media doesn't linger on those numbers now that Obama is president like they did when Bush was president.
