Obama Attacks Supreme Court For Their Constitutional Analysis of Obamacare
Obama claims to be a Constitutional expert earlier in his life. I have always had my doubt. Noting the brilliant Constitutional arguments made last week as Obamacare was placed under a microscope, Obama began attacking the Supreme Court. It's the first time Obummer has commented on the Supreme Court's arguments.
Ignoring the fact the federal government has no authority to force an American into a contract and into commerce, Obama stated:
"And I'd just remind conservative commentators that, for years, what we have heard is, the biggest problem on the bench was judicial activism, or a lack of judicial restraint, that an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law," Obama said.
"Well, this is a good example, and I'm pretty confident that this court will recognize that and not take that step," he said.
So Obama calls judicial activism the act of turning to the Constitution to analyze if a bill meets the limits of government the Constitution prescribes? Do you see how dangerous this man is? It's not just him because both Republicans and Democrats pass laws everyday that should be challenged by the Supreme Court for the very same reasons knowing they simply don't have the time.
I am quite sure reading the Constitution this is one of those checks and balances the Constitution creates--not judicial activism as Obama suggests. Wanna bet Justice "Boat Loads of Money" tipped off Obama after debate as to where the SCOTUS ruling was going to land? So Obama is trying to get out of this hoping to label this something it simply isn't.
