Dr. Scott Magill & Missouri 7th District Republican Assembly Redefines Socialism as Conservatism

As it turns out, under the leadership of Dr. Magill, there appears to be a lot of stamps of approval for Republican branded socialism. Let me explain.
Recently, my good friend Tom Martz copied a section of a recent e-mail from the Missouri Republican Assembly. They are obviously having a damage control meeting after Ron Paul won the Greene and Taney County Caucuses. They sent out an e-mail to their sheeple, too blind or ignorant to admit the GOP is pushing their own brand of socialism, often mistaking it as conservatism (or is that neoconservatism?).
Now before I get into this letter, I want to remind the Missouri Republican Assembly and Dr. Magill about the big government socialist policies of the Republican Party over the past few years and the men who now seek the highest office in the lands' efforts to promote this Republican branded socialism.
There was the Republican alternative to Hillarycare with it's federal mandate which was written by the likes of Newt Gingrich and the Heritage Foundation. This of course became Romneycare in Massachusetts pushed by Mitt Romney which eventually inspired Obamacare. To this day, Romney doesn't apologize for the liberty killing mandate that was adopted by Obama and the Democrats.
Then there was all that big government spending that grew government that men like Rick Santorum had no problem voting for. There was his five votes to raise the debt ceiling, the vote to increase federal control of your child's education with the No Child Left Behind, even though the Constitution leaves education up to the states. Who can forget the Republican effort to grow that socialist medicine program called Medicare with Medicare Part D--a new $16 trillion unfunded liability.
Or what about Mitt Romney who pushed for more gun control--that's a Marxist idea. Or Romney's involvement in what Rush Limbaugh calls the new communism--which is radical environmentalism designed to destroy the free markets. Romney produced green energy initiatives that failed as governor of Massachusetts just like Obama has done as President.

According to Dr. Magill and his Missouri Republican Assembly, these socialist and big government programs are apparently the definition of conservatism within their ranks. Here's a part of the e-mail just released by the Missouri Republican Assembly sent directly from Dr. Magill's e-mail address:
Dr. Magill misspells Taney. Where should I start? After years of watching the Republican party move left with it's big government ways, the 7th District Missouri Republican Assembly is either ignoring the truth or part of the deception. Which is it Dr. Magill?
The Republicans aren't serious about cutting spending. They aren't serious about smaller government--just look at the police state they created after 9/11 which now has Republicans in Congress proudly declaring they are going to rob you of you Constitutional right of due process while ignoring the Constitution's definition of treason to indefinitely detain Americans the federal government declares an enemy of the state.
Of course, according to Dr. Magill and the Missouri Republican Committee of the 7th District, all these examples above don't appear to be a threat to conservatism or the American way of life. Nope, it's those Constitutional loving, liberty celebrating Ron Paul supporters who had the nerve enough to show up at Magill's caucus and have their voices heard. I told you he was a crazy doctor.
You would think someone who calls themselves a conservative like Dr. Magill would have more respect for a fellow doctor who actually upholds the Constitution of the United States rather than trample on it like his fellow Republicans. After all, Dr. Magill took and oath as a United States Marine to protect and defend the Constitution. He sure doesn't seem very interested in doing that these days.
Dr. Magill, if anyone has damaged the conservative label, it's the Republican establishment that has turned its back on conservatism.

Dr. Magill and his Missouri Republican Assembly love big government. They endorsed cash for clunkers Roy for US Senate.
ReplyDeleteWe really should pity Scott, he can't even remember what he asked me to promise to do. That was to support the congressman with a foot or a pat on the back. I do that. He seems to think that I promised to support Billy Long if he was the Republican nominee, and that I did not do.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Clay on this one, he has forgotten his oath to support and defend the Constitution of the US. not a political party.
