Department of Homeland Security Becoming "Environmental Justice" Green Police
The Department of Homeland Security's original purpose was to protect Americans from terrorists, you know those brown people wearing turbans with suicide bombs attached to their abdomens. Somewhere in the hunt for brown guys with turbans with suicide bombs strapped on their abdomens, the focus was turned to everyday Americans who enjoy liberty, freedom, and now private property rights. It appears Janet Napolitano's federal police force that just ordered 450 million rounds of hollow point ammunition designed to kill people in one shot is expanding once again.
Blogger Bob McCarty points out today how Napolitano's new "green police" will work. He read Napolitano's DHS report titled "Environmental Justice Strategy", clearly something from the minds of those pushing the UN's Agenda 21.
Here's the goal as stated in the report:
“Environmental justice” describes the commitment of the Federal Government, through its policies, programs, and activities, to avoid placing disproportionately high and adverse effects on the human health and environment of minority or low-income populations. As described in the 2010 Quadrennial Homeland Security Review (QHSR), our Nation’s vision of homeland security is a homeland safe and secure, resilient against terrorism and other hazards, and where American interests and aspirations and the American way of life can thrive. In seeking to fulfill this vision, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) aspires to avoid burdening minority and low-income populations with a disproportionate share of any adverse human health or environmental risks associated with our efforts to secure the Nation. DHS joins with other departments and agencies to appropriately include environmental justice practices in our larger mission efforts involving federal law enforcement and emergency response activities." Dhs Environmental Justice Strategy I would like answers from my Congressman, Billy Long, who sits on the Homeland Security committee in Congress, about why he hasn't pulled out his pocket Constitution and publicly opposed this noting there is no authority for the federal government to create law enforcement on this level. In fact, you won't find the words law enforcement connected with powers of the federal government anywhere in the Constitution because the founding fathers left that up to the states. These federal police forces must go before our liberty and freedoms are gone.
Remember, while the Obama administration has grown the size of DHS, this was the brainchild of the Republicans like George W. Bush who began robbing Americans of their Fourth Amendment rights with the Patriot Act and Homeland Security.
