Wyoming House Bill 85 Prepares for Secession if Federal Government Melts Down
There is a lot of talk about federal government control. In case you are unaware, Obama thanks to Republicans in the House and Senate, the federal government prepares to declare Martial Law ready to indefinitely detain any American it deems an enemy of the state without due process. Of course, the federal government is overstepping the Constitution in even considering such plans. The state of Wyoming must see the writing on the wall.
State representatives on Friday advanced legislation to launch a study into what Wyoming should do in the event of a complete economic or political collapse in the United States.
House Bill 85 passed on first reading by a voice vote. It would create a state-run government continuity task force, which would study and prepare Wyoming for potential catastrophes, from disruptions in food and energy supplies to a complete meltdown of the federal government.
The task force would look at the feasibility of
Wyoming issuing its own alternative currency, if needed. And House members approved an amendment Friday by state Rep. Kermit Brown, R-Laramie, to have the task force also examine conditions under which Wyoming would need to implement its own military draft, raise a standing army, and acquire strike aircraft and an aircraft carrier.

I wish my socialist state of California would do something like this
ReplyDelete...is there something wrong with the water in Wyoming?
ReplyDeleteLove it, one state may be prepared.
ReplyDeleteAircraft carrier ??? A boat for the mountains ??? LoL.
ReplyDeleteThis will br the first of many.
ReplyDeleteWyoming is just leading the way and this bill needs to sent to the other 47 states excluding New York and California.
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting that more people are not shocked by this news. Many Americans are unaware of this situation and the ones that are aware don't seem to note it with much concern. It's one of the more significant developments in our history and it is being treated as just another news article that does't deserve much ink. This general lack of interest or concern in the affairs of government has allowed our freedoms to be slowly chipped away at until we have lost everything. It has been advised by a great statesman from the past that whenever or if ever we are again deprived of our freedoms (ref. 1776) then Americans should simply pick up, move out west and start over. Well...you don't get much more west than Wyoming. I hope they save a spot for me. - Jim Levingston (not anonymous)
