Rating Sodastream Flavors

I have owned my Sodastream now for two months. I have gone crazy in that two months stocking up on flavors. Some flavors deliver and some need some work. I decided I would rate the flavors based on enjoyment factor in hopes to see some improvements in taste.

Sodastream is that at-home soda machine that will save you money and help lessen your global impact when it comes to trash. It's a simple concept. Carbonate the water and add the soda flavoring. It takes less than a minute to have a fresh soda right from your tap water.

So here's the low down on the flavors:

Cola and Diet Cola--It's got a good unique cola taste. It doesn't measure up to Coke or Pepsi but it's pretty darn good and you don't have to worry about high fructose corn syrup and aspartame in their flavors.

Cream soda--a little medinciny for my liking. Wish it was a nice smooth vanilla flavor but it's a little on the harsh side. Going to try to mix it with orange and see about a orange cream.

Orange--a fun flavor full of taste that delivers.

Grape--also a winner.

Fountain Mist and Diet Fountain Mist--it tries to bring out your inner Dew but it fails miserably.

Lemon Lime and Diet Lemon Lime--hard to mess up this flavor. It delivers but like Sprite and Seven Up, a little boring.

Dr. Pete--my favorite. Definitely has a Dr. Pepper taste, and the best part of it is no aspartame.

Cranberry Raspberry--Surprisingly refreshing

Diet Grape Fruit--believe it or not, this is the sleeper flavor. It's really good.

Energy and Diet Energy Drink--never getting on the energy drink bandwagon because of the price, I have had enough Red Bulls given out free at RAGBRAI, a bicycle ride across Iowa. This is a great copy that will save you money from the overpriced energy drinks found in convenience store.
