Democrats are Now Chanting Drill Baby Drill as Obama's Election Chances Decline with Rising Gas Prices

The sign of ultimate hypocrisy and desire for power in Washington is evident in the latest rhetoric of Democrats. Obviously nervous what $5 a gallon gas prices does for Obama's reelection chances, Democrats are starting to chant drill baby drill.

No surprise, Republicans are reviving their "Drill, Baby Drill" catcalls from 2008, but liberals in Washington are getting nervous and asking President Barack Obama to tap into the Strategic Petroleum Reserve as a potential panacea for escalating gasoline prices.

So with their power in jeopardy, Democrats are admitting bringing more American oil to market will help lower gas prices. Funny, how when they were longing to be in power, gas prices could not reach high enough highs so they could point their fingers at George W. Bush and the Republicans with their big oil rhetoric. Now when their power on the line, it's time to get serious and work on lowering the costs.
