Ron Paul Stance on Newt's Plan for Moon Colony and Statehood

Newt Gingrich has a dream of Moon statehood. That's right, Newt wants Congressional representation and electoral votes for the man and the moon.

Before last night's Florida debate, Newt gave a speech in Florida outlining Moon statehood.

“When they have 13,000 Americans living on the moon, they can petition to become a state.”

“By the end of my second term, we will have the first permanent base on the moon and it will be American,” Gingrich added.

So the debate focused yesterday not on the seriousness of the problems facing this country, but on Newt's silly plan to spend at least a trillion more turning the moon into Newt's Death Star--death star because plans like this will kill the United States economically with more useless debt.
