The American Empire

It was once said the sun never sets on the British Empire. All that changed when the British Empire could no longer afford to maintain and fight all the wars within its empire. The sun did set on the British Empire.

Nearing $16 trillion in debt, the sun will soon set on the American Empire, unless we figure out that our Founding Fathers warned against the spread of imperialism through military thuggery. I don't think the average American really understands how vast the American Empire really is, and it's expanding throughout the Middle East now.
