9/11 Bracelets: US Transportation Security Administration Honors 9/11 By Sending Money to China

Thousands of TSA workers owe their livelihood to airplanes striking the World Trade Centers and the Pentagon. This is a truth of life that I have come to realize. The loss of a few turned into a government job for the many--a very tyrannical government job that insults the Fourth Amendment and has too many Americans being felt up and humiliated. So we shouldn't be surprised the TSA wanted to honor the day that created their very existence.

So what did they do? They bought memorial bracelets like the one's Lance Armstrong made popular with his Livestrong campaign to defeat cancer. The TSA ordered 70,000 bracelets to commemorate 9/11. Guess where they were made?

China. Your tax dollars went to China for these bracelets. Rather than funding American jobs, our government gave the Chinese more of our tax dollars.

The wristbands were among as much as $84 billion in U.S. contracts (USBOTOTA) awarded for foreign goods and services in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, mostly through exemptions from legislation designed to restrict such deals. Foreign purchases by federal agencies also included rocket launchers and machine guns from Bulgaria, as well as generic cholesterol medication for U.S. veterans that came from plants in India.

What a way to honor a few Americans by an organization that humiliates many Americans!
