The US is Moving Ever Closer to War With Iran: US Navy Prepares for War
Iran is conducting military drills. This isn't a crime. The United States Navy must think it is and tensions are rising as it appears war with Iran is not far way.
“A US aircraft carrier entered a zone near the Strait of Hormuz being used by the Iranian navy for wargames, an Iranian official said Thursday amid rising tensions over the key oil-transit channel,” reports YNet News.
“US officials announced Wednesday that the ship and its accompanying battle group moved through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow stretch at the entrance to the Gulf that is the world’s most important choke point for oil shipments.”
Now I want to pose this question. What if another country interfered and tried to intimidate the training of our own military in our backyard? Do you think we would be happy about it?
To this day, what has Iran done to threaten our own national security? Creating a nuclear weapon is simply not a valid answer. Look at our relationship with Pakistan. They harbor dangerous terrorists and have nukes, and yet we send them billions of dollars every year in aid despite a relationship between our country and theirs where there is little trust.
We are now over $15 trillion in debt. We fight endless wars to occupy without ever defining a victory. History teaches us empires fall because of their costs. I think we need to pay attention to history's lessons and only use our military for what the Constitution says it is to be used for--a common defense.

Japan? Did you mean Iran? My question is since when does the US Navy speak for the American People? The US Navy's spokeswoman has been all over the news for the past two days stating that the US Navy will not tolerate Iran's interference in the region. The way I understand the Constitution, Congress and the President should be making such statements and then order the Navy to conduct certain counter measures. I think the military must now have standing orders to do what ever to keep us in conflict.
