Washington Post Doesn't Describe Billy Long as Top-Tier Talent in Missouri GOP

Between Peter Kinder's stripper escapade and Billy Long's embarrassing tweets and other episodes, the Missouri GOP has some embarrassing candidates to say the least. The Washington Post is not afraid to say Billy Long is not the brightest bulb in the pack when it comes to GOP candidates.

The Post went out of their way to include Congressman Long in an article that was primarily outing Peter Kinder as an embarrassment after getting his picture taken with a stripper he has been pursuing. Funny thing is Congressman Long also has his tales of stripper improprieties.

And, the potential rising stars the party was grooming have fallen on hard times in recent years.

They include state Sens. Jack Goodman and Gary Nodler, who both lost to now-Rep. Billy Long in a 2010 primary.
