Lack of Interest in Sarah Steelman for Senate Continues to Show in Third Quarter Fundraising

Claire Mama Caskill is an unpopular US Senator who has helped raise the national debt on a record pace while pushing for more big government through Obamacare. One would think it would be easy for a Republican to raise money to beat the unpopular Senator. Such is not the case if you are Sarah Steelman.

The Washington Post reports of Steelman's third quarter fundraising, which resembles the first two quarters of the year (pathetic), as anything but top-tier.

In the third fundraising quarter, neither of the two declared Senate candidates — former state treasurer Sarah Steelman nor Rep. Todd Akin — raised more than $300,000 from donors. In fact, Steelman raised less than $100,000. That’s an unheard-of number for anyone who could be considered a top-flight candidate, and Steelman had to self-fund $400,000 to remain financially viable.

Perhaps it's time for Steelman to realize her dream of becoming a US Senator simply isn't viable.
