Remember When the Cows Took Over Chicago (Too Bad They Didn't Run the Democrats Out)

According to legend, O'Leary's cow tipped over a lantern to cause the famous Chicago fire that burnt much of the city to the ground. It's hard to believe that it was 12 years ago in the summer of 1999 that the city of Chicago took to celebrate this legend by filling the sidewalks with unique cows all around the city. It was a great time to be in Chicago, and Oprah featured the cows on her show. Here are a few of the cows that were seen near Michigan Avenue.
