Springvegas Shows Up on Lane Koch's Twitter Page Promoting Roy Blunt After a Day Riding Around With Billy Long

One of the allegations against Billy Long and the Metropolitan grill is their love for Las Vegas made them want to return home to create "Springvegas." Roy Blunt's deputy political director was caught tweeting using the words Springvegas as noticed and documented on Busplunge.

From Busplunge:

Didn't the Metro Mafia refer to Springvegas also? Wasn't Billy Long traveling on the bus with Roy yesterday? Lane Koch is a Deputy Political Director in the Roy Blunt for U.S. Senate campaign. She tweets as "LNKOCH".

Enthusiasm for Obama Low in the Swing State of Ohio: Half Full, Half Empty You Decide

Half full or half empty, you decide. However you decide, it's a far cry from what I witnessed almost two years to the day when Obama visited the swing state of Missouri and final last hoorah campaign stop in hopes of carrying Missouri. He didn't.

Now two years later in Cleveland, Obama can't even fill a basketball arena. Remember the lines used to stretch for two miles when Obama would come to town.

CLEVELAND — President Obama wrapped up a weekend of last-minute campaigning in Ohio on Sunday, addressing Democrats in an indoor arena that, in a sign of the “enthusiasm gap” that the president is working so hard to close, was little more than half full.

About 8,000 people attended the Democratic National Committee’s Moving America Forward’ rally at Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center, a hall where the capacity is 13,000. The rafters were largely empty.

The organizers made excuses. Obama can't compete with Halloween and football. Such wasn't the case in 2008.

Take Tim Davis's Endorsement of Billy Long With a Grain of Salt

I just read Eli Yokley's article about Tim Davis's endorsement of Billy Long. In a statement Davis made, he claimed Billy Long is smart and represents Ozark values.

OK, but Tim Davis was also the Democrat who went on record claiming Billy Long cheated with his iPhone during a Congressional forum in Ozark. How smart can you be if you have to have your handlers text message you the answers on an iPhone after the question is asked?

If any news source was truly reporting this election without the bias of advertising dollars, they would questioned Davis's statement referring back to Davis calling Billy out at the forum.

News-Leader Reporting Billy Long Has Died: No, He Didn't "Stroke Out"

Irony, two days after KSPR announces Scott Eckersley has quit the Congressional race, the influence sold here Springfield News-Leader announces Billy Long is dead. I guess Kevin Craig is the last man standing.

From the News-Leader's obituaries:

Billy "Buster" Long born in Springfield, Missouri, April 27, 1942 passed away, peacefully, in his home, October 29, 2010.

No, Patrick J. Binning had nothing to do with this. There will be no need to call the FBI on this one.

Billy Long's Daughter Would Have Graduated With Patrick J. Binning at Greenwood

In a series of interviews with Billy Long, Sarah Steelman asks Billy Long about his family. Long notes his daughters are 21 and 24 years old. This means the oldest daughter graduated from Greenwood with Patrick J. Benning. Benning of course is the CEO of Lakefront Strategies, who some believe is behind the false Scott Eckersley e-mail that shook up the campaign on Friday that announced Eckersley was dropping out of the race.

Without any verification, its being reported that even Billy Long himself started calling supporters announcing that Eckersley had quit the race early Friday morning. There appears to be s strong connection to the e-mail and the Long campaign, and the age of Long's daughters mean both of them attended school at Greenwood with Patrick J. Binning.

Binning has been busy since the Eckersley campaign announced the FBI was investigating the e-mail removing his digital footprint from the Internet.

Sarah Steelman and Billy Long Lose Each Other in Free Trade Interview

Sarah Steelman, who hasn't stuck to her guns with Billy Long that were spelled out in her endorsement of Long, recently launched a series of interviews with Slick Billy. What struck me as funny about one particular interview is how lost both of these dolts become in the interview on free trade. Long looks like a deer lost in the headlights, then he says regulations make him nervous, even though he wants to regulate the healthcare insurance business. Gee Southwest Missouri, do you really want these people as the face of conservatism in our district? Listen to what idiots both of these people are.

Steelman looked like she was speechless as she rushed to thank Billy Long at the end after that rambling answer.

Also notice how Steelman avoids discussing Billy Long's desire to regulate the healthcare insurance, which was well noted in the Joplin debate. By the way, what are these two dolts doing on an "independent" magazine?

Sarah Steelman's IQ dropped considerable points with her Billy Long endorsement. And to think, she's just a couple months away from announcing her bid for US Senate...

Why Would Billy Long Take Campaign Money From General Motors When General Motors Owes the American Taxpayer?

Billy Long says he is fed up of Washington. He is fed up of the bailouts as well. Yet, a recent article in the Springfield News-Leader that claims Billy Long outweighs, I mean outraised Scott Eckersley six to one shows that Billy Long took campaign money from General Motors.

Long's committee contributions came from PACs including Honeywell, Earnst & Young; the American Bankers Association Qualified multi-Candidate Committee; General Motors PAC; R.J. Reynolds PAC; National Rifle Association of America Political Victory Fund; AFLAC PAC; Halliburton; and National Auctioneers Association PAC.

Now, first of all, I want to know why General Motors has its name on any kind of political contributions considering a majority of their company is owned by the American government. Furthermore, they still owe the American taxpayers billions from the bailouts, and the CEO of GM can claim GM has been rescued and paid back most of the bailout, but anyone with any small business common sense knows GM's sales have remained weak even after the bailout. I don't see how it's even possible they have paid back even half.

My point is this. Billy Long says he is fed up with Washington and the bailouts but has no problem taking money from General Motors who owes the American taxpayer money. Do you really think Billy Long is going to put his constituents first as he displays this behavior? Don't kid yourself. Of course he isn't, and he is just getting started. Billy Long is clearly addicted to other people's money and considering rumors of his weak character, Billy Long is the worst kind of character to send to Washington, DC.

Sarah Palin: "We've Got the Tape that Proves" the Media is Conspiring Against Joe Miller

Joe Miller is perhaps the most sound political thinker running for office in this year's election. His message is as close to the founders that I have heard in a long time. It's no wonder the media wants to beat him up as he speaks Jeffersonian ideas.

Sarah Palin attacks the GOP machine and the Democrats in Alaska. She says there is a tape that exposes the "bastards" trying to bring Miller down.

“Just last night it was revealed that the rally that I had for Joe Miller on Thursday, it was revealed and we have the tape to prove it, that the CBS reporters, the affiliate in Alaska, conspired to make up stories about Joe Miller. We have the tape Chris, and I can’t wait until it busts out all over the nation, that shows what it is that we… kinda what I put up with for two years now from the media… but what Joe Miller is faced with in someone like Lisa Murkowsky who feels so entitled to that seat, that she and some of her people including some complicit in the media will do anything, they will stop at nothing, to allow Lisa Murkowsky to get back elected.”

Palin says the tape goes as far as showing the media saying they will go as far as trying to find a child to accuse him of child molestation.

Parting Democrat Speaks Up on Nancy Pelosi's Soft Tyranny in Congress

There are many Democrats in Congress who won't be there when Congress meets in January. Some saw what was coming and decided on their own to leave. Others are more stubborn.

One of the ideas thrown around about Democrats, mainly Obama and Pelosi over the past two years is this idea of soft tyranny in their leadership styles. The Wall Street Journal released an interview with Democrat Brian Baird, who decided not to run for reelection, about what the past two years have been like in Congress. It's honest, and it enforces this idea of soft tyranny.

For answers, I decided to chat up Rep. Brian Baird, a six-term Democrat from Washington state. Even though he's never won re-election with less than 56% of the vote, Mr. Baird is retiring because the brutal congressional commute makes it impossible for him to see his twin five-year-old boys grow up. He's not sticking around, like so many former members of Congress, to lobby inside the Beltway. That allows him to be candid about Congress and his party.

"It's been an authoritarian, closed leadership. That style plus a general groupthink mentality didn't work when Tom DeLay called the shots," Mr. Baird says. "We've made some of the same damn mistakes, and we were supposed to be better. That's the heartbreak."

Mr. Baird, 54, is a loyal Democrat who voted for all of Speaker Nancy Pelosi's legislative priorities, including the stimulus bill, cap and trade and ObamaCare. But he admits all three have serious flaws.

Mr. Baird recalls that he was "very excited" when his party took control of Congress in 2006, but he saw ominous signs early on. Before the 2006 election, he says, Mrs. Pelosi had 30 members working on a rules package to make the House more ethical and deliberative. "We abandoned all that work after the election, and leaders told us we should trust them to clean things up. I don't know a single member of the Democratic caucus who saw the final rules package before they voted on it."

Democrats also watered down efforts to practice fiscal responsibility. "We initially had numbers a bit more honest than the Republicans—we at least included war costs in the budget," he says. "Now we're authorizing programs for three years instead of five in an attempt to pretend we're saving money."

George Carlin: The Owners of this Country

Former congressional candidate Michael Wardell recently opened up a discussion about how Republican Billy Long has walked away from his Fed Up pledges, which included being fed up with special interests. Long has put more and more money in his pocket from special interests from outside of the district since winning the primary in August. Wardell said to really put Billy Long in perspective, George Carlin's The Owners of this Country monologue is spot on.

Former James Harris Associate Eager to Get His Named Removed from Fraudulent Scott E-Mail Story: Shawn M. Bell Calls Blogger Begging to Remove Reference of His Name to Fraudulent E-mail Story

A taped telephone conversation between former James Harris associate Shawn M. Bell and a blogger has been turned over to the Eckersley campaign's attorney after an anonymous e-mail was sent to the media claiming Scott Eckersley dropped out of the Congressional race. James Harris, a Billy Long strategist, encouraged the news of Eckersley dropping out on Twitter shortly after the story ran on Friday morning, and Bell retweeted the news without verifying the facts.

As news began to break, bloggers began looking for connections to Billy Long's campaign. Within an hour both Harris and Bell deleted the tweets but issued no formal correction. This soon hit the blogosphere and Bell began to franticly attempt to contact bloggers demanding his name be removed from the story with some sense of nervousness. Federal officials are examining the source of the e-mail, which may be connected to a Glendale Heights, Illinois political consulting firm that has ties to Billy Long and Springfield, Missouri.

The tape is about 12 minutes and features Bell trying to justify why he doesn't have anything to do with the story. However, all that has been reported about Bell is he has retweeted the Harris tweet, and a reminder a similar tactic was used by Harris, Bell, and Jeff Roe of a similar tactic they used against Brian Nieves, a Republican from the St. Louis area.

When asked if Billy Long was involved in the scandal, Long said, "hot diggity dawg." Roe has also denied involvement. It's the actions of Bell and Lakefront Strategies Patrick Binning that are raising lots of questions. Binning has not returned any attempts to contact him for comment.

Bell is currently working in Washington for US Senate candidate Dino Rossi (R).

Bell was told the conversation between him and the blogger was being recorded. The tape mentions that Bell tried to contact other bloggers, but I have not record of any e-mail sent to me.

Tim Davis Endorsement of Billy Long Borderlines on Extreme Comedy: Davis Called Billy Long Out for Cheating in the Spring

Tim Davis was one of the most decent men running for Congress in Missouri's Seventh District that I met. He impressed both Republicans and Democrats with his knowledge of economics. He's one of the smartest men I have met, but I have to admit, I was thrown off by his endorsement of simpleton Billy Long.

In what appears may be sour grapes, and I am sure Dr. Scott Magill hasn't moved forward in questioning Tim's character, Davis says, "“Like me, Billy Long is pro-life and shares our Ozark values."

If you remember last spring, Tim Davis was the first candidate calling Billy Long out for using an iPhone at the Ozark Chamber of Commerce candidate forum. Davis says he saw Billy receiving answers to the questions asked during the forum in multiple text messages. Is cheating one of these Ozarks values?

As well, I attended a worship service with Tim at James River Assembly last May. The Assembly of God's headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, says gambling is a value the church doesn't support. Once again, I have to ask Davis about values?

It doesn't appear based on these two instances, the values Long has shown aren't values Mr. Davis appears to advocate for.

The timing of this endorsement is most funny. Davis waited until the Saturday before the election to put his name on Long--Saturday when the news cycle is the slowest. Another lackluster endorsement for Long.

Billy Long: Auctioneer and Climatologist

An interesting quote from Billy Long: "There’s always changing and nobody really knows if it [climate change and global warming] has anything to do with man or not. The science I’ve says it does not."

The science Billy Long says? Really? Beyond Long's list of talents from auctioneering to collecting lots of money from special interest groups outside of the seventh district, he also ads his at home science experiments to the list.

"The science I've says." That's funny.

November 2 & 3, 2010 Aren't Days for Conservatives to Celebrate: Long Road Ahead Before I Believe in the Republican Party Again

I have a confession. I didn't vote in 2006. I didn't. I didn't like the Democrats, and I sure didn't like what the Republicans had become--Democrat Lites.

In 2006, I was sickened by what the Republican party had become--the party of more spending and bigger Constitutional right killing government. I know I wasn't the only conservative sick of what the Republican party had become. In 2010, I am cautiously optimistic, but I know deep down inside after reading the Pledge to America not to put a lot of faith in Republicans.

That's why I call out to my conservative blogger friends with one request, let's not celebrate until they prove to us something is worth celebrating from Constitutional conservative perspective. One election hasn't defeated Obama the man. He still has tricks up his sleeve to play and further kill Jeffersonian principles. It's yet to be seen whether or not Republicans will move far enough to the right to earn our trust and truly beat the Obama agenda. In fact, some pundits believe a Republican congress is the best thing to happen to Obama's reelection chances.

By 2006, the Republican party had moved quickly to the left. They gave us big deficits. They gave us Constitutional killing bureaucracies like the Department of Homeland Security, which gave birth to the TSA. Their own character flaws defeated their promises of family values. In other words, these weren't the Reagan Republicans many of us loved. These Republicans acted more like the latter day Kennedys. It is because they lost their way, we have Obamacare today. Had they behaved and remained loyal to conservatism, they would have not lost the numbers in the House and Senate that made it possible to pass Obamacare.

Let's look at what Republicans are promising. They are promising to roll back federal spending to 2008, the same 2008 Nancy Pelosi and Democrats controlled Congress and created another $450 billion in deficit spending. They are promising more power to the Department of Homeland Security in the name of safety over terrorism. These two items alone concern me. These are not Jeffersonian by any means, and it's going to take the Tea Parties and constant criticism to pull Republicans closer to 2000, when a conservative Congress passed budgets that created surpluses and we didn't have this intrusive Department of Homeland Security threatening our liberty.

If we give up in 2011 and give Republicans a pass, I don't have a lot of faith things are going to get better. That's why we must not be afraid to call Republicans out when they lose their way. There is no time to celebrate this week as we watch Democrats lose power. There is only time to prepare to put pressure on Republicans once they gain their power.

One of their first tests will be a vote to raise the debt ceiling. That's going to tell us a lot about this next generation of Republicans. Get ready to watch and comment if they don't take the steps necessary to cut federal spending and allow more debt to threaten our great Republic.

For my loyal followers, if you expect Republicans to get a pass, they won't here until they show they are good Constitutional conservatives.

Christine O'Donell is Surging in Delaware Going into Election Day

The attacks have been heavy, but she appears to be enduring. Once counted out by her own party, Christine O'Donnell has gained the attention of Barack Obama, who came to Delaware to campaign for her competitor. Don't count O'Donnell out. If Obama was comfortable in Delaware, he would have gone elsewhere.

There is a new poll. The Monmouth University poll. Christine O'Donnell is within ten points. Two weeks ago she was down 57-38. She is within ten points. Coons has backed out of the final two debates, and in the Monmouth University poll, Christine O'Donnell is winning independents 47 to 42.

This of course parallels her primary win as her numbers gained momentum as she closed the deal at the end. This was also the case for Scott Brown in Massachusetts. She could still be the next Senator from Delaware despite many counting her out early on. This could be interesting on Tuesday night, and Delaware, a small state should announce the winner early in the evening. News of her win will make a long night for Democrats across the country.

Burn it Down: Devil's Night and Halloween May Be Best Thing for Detroit

Earlier this year, the pictures of bombed-out Detroit were frequently reported in the news and on the Internet. Property values sank as the foreclosure crisis led to the foreclosures of houses that are now safety issues. Oh what great things the community reinvestment act failed to accomplish! Another failed liberal federal leviathan plan gone mad.

So bad was the nightmare of post industrial revolution Detroit ruined by government regulations making it cheaper to produce outside of the United States combined with a dangerous cocktail of unattainable union salaries forcing many Detroit companies to send jobs elsewhere, once beautiful homes now sale for a thousand dollars or more ready to be torn down. Remember, Obama went as far as suggesting a federal bulldozing program to tear down these neighborhoods in hopes of saving the housing market.

Fortunately, our federal tax dollars don't need to be used for that. We just need Halloween a few more times a year. The idiot gang member scum punks that live in Detroit appear to be a 50 cent version of the bulldozer. Have match will light.

It's becoming tradition for Detroit kids start fires throughout the city, and there has already been 58 fires reported this year thanks to Devil's Night celebrations. Looking at some of these neighborhoods, shouldn't they just let them burn. Of course, there would be a new federal welfare program created tomorrow that would build new homes for these idiots to destroy next year and years to come.

It's just sad how the once great American industrial center known as Detroit has fallen due to liberalism.

Happy Halloween from BBCW: Don't Forget to Wear Your Silver Shamrock Auctioneer Mask Tonight

Remember, the scariest costume this Halloween is the Auctioneer Billy Long.

2012 Presidential Race Starts November 3, and Democrats Want an Option Over Obama

An AP-KN Poll shows nearly half of Democrats polled want an option in the Democratic primary so they don't have to vote for Barack Obama. The traditional split within the Democratic party revolves around Hillary Clinton. As well, Bill Clinton seems to be working particular Democratic campaigns this year, campaigns that supported Hillary in 2008, and many are speculating he will expect repayment of his work in 2012.

From the Associated Press:

WASHINGTON (AP) - Democratic voters are closely divided over whether President Barack Obama should be challenged within the party for a second term in 2012, an Associated Press-Knowledge Networks Poll finds.

That glum assessment carries over into the nation at large, which is similarly divided over whether Obama should be a one-term president.

A real Democratic challenge to Obama seems unlikely at this stage and his re-election bid is a long way off. But the findings underscore how disenchanted his party has grown heading into the congressional elections Tuesday.

The AP-KN poll has tracked a group of people and their views since the beginning of the 2008 presidential campaign. Among all 2008 voters, 51 percent say he deserves to be defeated in November 2012 while 47 percent support his re-election _ essentially a tie.

Among Democrats, 47 percent say Obama should be challenged for the 2012 nomination and 51 percent say he should not be opposed. Those favoring a contest include most who backed Hillary Rodham Clinton's unsuccessful faceoff against Obama for the 2008 nomination. The poll did not ask if Democrats would support particular challengers.

Obama Argues with Campaign Hecklers for Three Minutes

Hecklers showed up at one of the latest Obama campaign rallies, which are nothing more than an exhibit of the finest BS you can find in America. It's no wonder why the hecklers are coming out to challenge Dear Leader.

Here he is in the liberal Northeast getting called out, and Obama argues with the hecklers for nearly three minutes of his Connecticut appearance. He claims these people are showing up at every rally he has done. It appears these hecklers are liberal AIDS activists according to Dear Leader.

Once again we see how when Obama is off the teleprompter he is quite clueless. Alright...alright...

A Constitutional Conservative Looks Beyond November 2, 2010 and Possible Republican Gains: From the Mike Church Show

(Audio & Transcript) Mandeville, LA - By Wednesday morning we'll have a better grasp on the future of our United States of America than we do now. Will that future still be a sinking Leviathan? A cynical Mike Church sees good in Nazi Pelosi finally making her way out of the office amply named 'Speaker of the House'. As for Obama, he's going to have to come out and make some conciliation, whether he does it or not is still being determined by the bookies, and if he does give a speech it will probably have some snide remark in there that will base the rest of his misshapen Presidency.

However, when it's all said and done with will there actually be any change? This isn't the first time we've taken the House or Presidency or lost the House or Presidency, yet the problems still remain the same. Therefore, the work merely BEGINS on November the 3rd and if these guys falter then all of this energy and investment will have been for nil.

Mike: Let’s listen to some Keith Ogremann losing it on OMSNBC last night. Apparently, we actually are going to repeal the 20th Century — nobody could be happier about that than I — according to Keith Ogremann; right?

[Clip] Keith Olbermann: ...just a cabal of corporations and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and political insider bloodsuckers like Karl Rove and Dick Armey and the Chicken Little chorus of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. And the instructions are not to improvise a comedy sketch, but to elect a group of unqualified, unstable individuals who will do what they are told in exchange for money and power and march this nation as far backward as they can get, backward to Jim Crow, or backward to the breadlines of the ‘30s, or backward to hanging union organizers, or backward to the trusts and the robber barons. Result: The Tea Party. Vote backward. Vote Tea Party.

And if you are somehow indifferent for what is planned for next Tuesday, it is nothing short of an attempted use of democracy to end this democracy, to buy America wholesale and pave over the freedoms and the care we take of one another, which have combined to keep us the envy of the world. You do not think your freedom is at stake next Tuesday? The Tea Party and Republican candidate for Senator from Nevada Sharron Angle just decried divorce and Social Security as some of this nation’s, quote, ‘wicked ways.’ Mrs. Angle also compared rape to, quoting, ‘lemon, in a lemon situation, in lemonade.’ She would deny an abortion even to a teenage girl who had been raped by her own father.

Mike: Stop the digital media file right there. You know, I am so sick of that canard of an excuse for the extermination of human life, and Ogremann is so sickening, that I choose to not, not have you suffer through any more of this insanity that he was about to spew. That what is laid out there — what about those, what about all those 13 year olds that are raped by men that aren’t their color, by black men and impregnated? It happens 15 times every day. What about them? It does? Yes, and all these little girls that are always raped by their fathers and impregnated, happens, what, 150 times a day. And this is why we have abortion procedures. When you nitwits were arguing for the extermination of human life, that was not the excuse that you used. You called it “reproductive freedom.” It wasn’t until people woke up and said, well, reproductive freedom, that’s a kid, man. You can’t just stick a coat hanger in there and kill that. That’s a human. Wasn’t until the grizzly, dirty little secret of what an abortion was got out that you had to start making these fantasies up.

Let me tell you something. A country, as Mr. Ogremann just said, that takes care of itself, takes care of its children first, you butcher. We can’t even take care of children. We choose to not have them. Oh, they’re an inconvenience. No, your sluttiness is an inconvenience, madam. I’m sorry, I err. I called you “madam.” How about “ho”? Try that one on for size, Keith. Children, the future, an inconvenience. Well, we can’t suffer through that. I’m going to limit myself to two and a half. Why? Well, that’s what the Census Department says we ought to have. We have population control by fiat. But everybody else only has two and a half. And besides, it’s so expensive.

We do all these things for future generations, and yet we have people running around like Keith Ogremann that want to exterminate the future generation and want to use these flimsy, pathetic excuses to do it. Well, you know what, Mr. Ogremann, we’re not buying your snake oil anymore. And let me also inform you of something, sir. Racism existed back in the day, it exists today, and it will exist a hundred years from now and a thousand years from now. So what? So what? There will always be bears in the woods that will attack innocent campers that haven’t done anything other than step into the wrong part of the forest. So what? This zeal and this idea that our existence and that our course as a people — which is a socialist term, by the way — must all be joined together in the extermination of racism is ridiculous. It’s not going to happen. And since it’s not going to happen, why should we spend trillions of dollars in the exercise?

Let me make one more point about this because I’m sick and tired of hearing it. Jim Crow was government-imposed racism; okay? These were state and local governments that were instituting racism. This wasn’t choices of people made individually by who they wanted their neighbors to be and what have you. It was an institution of government. Hey, and Yankees, you started it. You guys were the first to segregate. Oh, yeah, escaped slaves can move up here to Massachusetts, but you’ve got to go to that school over there. Why I got to go to that school over there? That’s where the black kids go, you know? Yeah, there. Oh, it was all a fabrication of Southerners. They did everything. Right, right.

I don’t even want to get into the rest of what Ogremann said. But yes, we should absolutely repeal most of the 20th Century, especially anything that happened in Congress after 19, oh, 13? No, 1912. 1912 was a banner year. I’d pay big bucks for a bottle of wine from 1912. “Mike, does that include the Civil Rights Act?” Well, had states not been forced to institutionalize racism, much of the Civil Rights Act would have been unnecessary, would have been unneeded.

Let’s go a little further back. Had the course of human events, to quote Jefferson, “When in the course of human events,” had they been allowed to play themselves out, and if the rest of the world is any indication, we don’t know what would have happened to the existence of the slave trade in the Southern states or the Western territories. Many people that are scholars have postulated that, hmm, well, the rest of the world moved away from it, mainly because of the human indignity of it and because of the abolitionists. What if the abolitionists were able to actually convince people in individual states and in individual communities that slavery wasn’t evil? Which, by the way, many people that were in Southern states and Western territories did believe.

So anyways, I don’t want to get into that whole discussion there. But our Constitution and our lives should not be built around the premise that we can exterminate something that some would argue is instinctive, and something that exists on every continent on this planet, which is racism. It’s better to just deal with it than to try and exterminate it, and to try to demonize and vilify anyone, especially when the demonization is only a one-way street. In other words, because I’m a white boy, a cracker, I’m the only one that’s capable — if there are three people in the room, two of them are minorities, and there’s I, well, there’s only one person in the room capable of being a racist, and that’s me. It’s ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.

The great Melvin E. Bradford summed this up in the best way that I have read, and it’s in a book called “The Reactionary Imperative,” and that is that it is folly, and it is a suicide pact, to believe that you can co-opt the entire Constitution and constitutional system of federal government into the cause of eradicating poverty, eradicating racism, or doing any of these things. The Constitution was a plan of how to form a government, a union of states. That’s what it was. When it began to be used for all these other things, the writing was on the wall.

Sold to the Highest Bidder: Billy Long Auctions off OUR Vote in Congress

Sarah Steelman said one of the reasons she was endorsing Billy Long is because he wouldn't be influenced by special interests. Since then, Billy Long has gone on a political campaign contribution binge as if they were midnight snacks made especially for Billy by the Metropolitan Grill.

With the premise that Billy Long is fed up of everything in Washington, DC, why does he continue to take money from special interest from outside the Seventh District? Going once, going twice, vote is sold to the special interest group from California.

Since the primary, Billy Long has forgotten his whole fed up platform. He now looks like he plans to stay in Washington for a very long time, and it appears he is ready to play the game money for votes. I wonder what house on K Street he will purchase for the long stay?

One of the most notable items Long seems no longer fed up with is special interests. He's taking money from everywhere--money that will soon influence a vote in Congress--OUR VOTE IN CONGRESS. Long's job is to represent the 7th District and not companies in California, Texas, or Kansas.

Yet, his pockets overflow in the final week of the campaign with questionable campaign contributions that once again show Billy Long was never fed up with Washington.

Earlier in the campaign Long complained to KY3's Steve Grant about farm subsidies (Long wants to end them): "They're bringing milk in from out of the area. Our farmers here have to pay to have milk trucked in from other states. So there's a lot of things in the farm subsidies that have to be looked at."

Yet he took a substantial donation from The California Dairies Federal PAC.

Also on his list is Halliburton, Exxon, General Motors, the Koch Brothers. Try to find their contributions in the 7th outside of Billy Long's pockets you can't. Longs acceptance of these contributions are the political equivalent to Fed Up as Judas' kiss was to Jesus.

So those who brag Billy Long will bring small business common sense to Congress, well, I can't argue with you. Sold to the highest bidder! I think Billy Long's going to love Washington, DC.

Does Scott Eckersely Have the Smoking Gun to Bring Down Billy Long?

This silly campaign season all comes to an end on Tuesday night. It looks like there may be some last minute drama. Could it put Billy Long at the scene of the crime at the Metropolitan Grill? As well, a fraudulent e-mail sent to multiple press sources appears it may have ties to Billy Long's campaign.

The Eckersley campaign has announced an early morning press conference on Monday morning, the day before the election. Will they have the smoking gun? Is it too late? The following is the press release issued by the Eckersley campaign in the last hour:

Springfield Mo. 30th October 2010 – Scott Eckersley will make a campaign announcement in a press conference Monday morning at the Eckersley for Congress Headquarters at 9:30 a.m.

New information regarding the fraudulent press release and the Jennifer Case story has developed in the last twenty-four hours.

Fraudulent E-Mail Suspect from Illinois Has Ties to Billy Long: Did Billy Long Know the E-Mail Was Coming?

The Internet is full of ties to Billy Long from a man who may have sent an e-mail from Addison, Illinois to Southwest Missouri media sources claiming Scott Eckersley quit the Congressional race. Since news broke the Eckersley campaign was pressing charges, Patrick J. Binning has been frantically removing his political consulting Web site and social media. This began yesterday as he removed references from his Twitter account to a fraudulent Scott Eckersley Twitter Account, and it has gone far enough that Binning is starting to appear like he is hiding something. For a recap of Binning's actions, please visit: http://bungalowbillscw.blogspot.com/2010/10/is-chicagolands-lakefront-strategies.html

Scanning Billy Long's Facebook page this evening turned up a connection to Billy Long and Patrick J. Binning. The day after the primary, Binning writes:

Patrick J Binning Congrats Billy, Let me know if you need anything between now and November-Patrick
August 4 at 12:42pm

Here's another entry from Patrick J. Binning on Billy Long's Facebook page from March:

Patrick J Binning Billy, as a fellow Greenwood Alum and Conservative, I wish you the best of luck towards August-PJB
March 29 at 8:18pm

The question tonight is does that anything include writing a fraudulent e-mail to give Billy Long a slight advantage in the polls on Tuesday and Did Billy Long or his strategist know the e-mail was being sent? There is a lot of strange things going on in Illinois as Mr. Binning appears to be removing as many online tracks as possible on the Internet.

Patrick J. Binning's Leadership and Character Was Questionable in the Illinois College Republican Federation

The Scott Eckersley fraudulent e-mail controversy appears to be centering around a man from the Addison, Illinois area with ties to Springfield, Missouri, the Republican party, and possibly to Billy Long based on his Greenwood education. Patrick J. Binning has been eager to remove his social media presence from the Internet since news broke the Eckersley campaign was pressing criminal charges for the fraudulent e-mail. While I am not going to repeat what has already been said, it does appear Binning's leadership and character was questioned within the college Republican ranks in 2007. In other words, the CEO of Lakefront Strategies doesn't have the best reputation with his fellow Republicans and has been known to play games. For more information leading up to this point of the Eckersley fraudulent e-mail controversy, click here.

The following are passages from Keepin' Up with the ICRF (Illinois College Republican Federation) that apparently had some concerns about Mr. Binning. At the top of the Web site reads:

WITH EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR JEREMY ROSE AND CHAIRMAN PATRICK J. BINNING AT THE HELMS OF THIS ORGANIZATION, WE FIGURED THIS WAS JUST THE RIGHT THING TO KEEP THE ILLINOIS CRS UP TO DATE ON WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON WITH THE ILLINOIS COLLEGE REPUBLICAN FEDERATION AND THEIR FAULTY LEADERSHIP.

Drinking For Jesus? What?

"It’s that time of year again folks. Yup, drinking on account of little baby Jesus. So, in honor of our little guy….let’s get wasted!!!…So come one, come all! Lets do this one for Jesus!…No Jewish people were harmed during the making of this message"
Was the description on a facebook group event titled, "Drinking For Jesus" as reported by CRNation.com.

"
These allegations were confirmed by CR Nation by simply looking up the facebook event."

Mr Binning, in an email, stated –
I understand that there was some concern about the “Drinking for Jesus” party, a non ICRF-event that was associated with my Executive Director, I apologize for this on Jeremy’s behalf for offending anyone who may have been inadvertently offended. That being said, it is important that we come together as one team and put aside our differences, so that we can accomplish our goals over the next 12 months.
Right, Mr. Binnin. Let's come together. Lo, and behold, he have other plans. And accomplish our goals over the next 12 months? He plan on making this a dictatorship? He has already showed his do-nothing attitude since taking office in April, what makes him think he is worthy of another term? You said it, Jeremy Rose is YOUR executive director, we need someone who will be OUR executive Director. Does it matter it the event is non-icrf related? He's a leader within this movement, the public eye, donors, and potential donors see no seperation between what Jeremy Rose does when he has his ED hat on and when he doesn't.

Contacting Mr. Rose himself, CR Nation obtained this comment –
Recently is has come to some people’s attention that I signed on to be a host of a Christmas party with the title “drinking for Jesus.” I’d like to apologize if this has offended anyone. It was caviler and irresponsible of me.
I apologize for the distraction this has cause the Illinois College Republican Federation. We have serious issues to attend to and I suspect this came to light due to another individual’s personal grudge. That however doesn’t excuse my behavior. What we at the ICRF have to do is important work and we can all go without distractions like this.
I hope this will just be a bump in the road on the way to the ICRF achieving its goals this year and I look forward to continuing assisting the ICRF in its endeavors.
Yes, sir, it was very irresponsible of you. And do you even know the definition of "caviler"? "someone who raises annoying, petty objections" ring a bell? Okay, so maybe you do know the definition. You're right, this doesn't excuse your behavior, maybe you should resign. We do have important work to do and can't handle any more of your distractions. By the way, I hardly believe you merely signed on to be a host especially considering you were the CREATOR of this event and it listed your email and phone number as the contact for this event. Let's fully disclose the facts, shall we.

Lakefront Strategies Removes its Web Site From the Web: Patrick Binning Appears to be Hiding Something Day After Fraudulent Eckersley E-mail

In a continuing development, the Lakefront Strategies Web page has been removed from the Internet less than 24 hours after the Eckersley campaign announced it would press criminal charges for the fraudulent e-mail sent out the media sources claiming Eckersley was quitting the race. An investigation appears to be centered around Addison, Illinois or a nearby suburb, possibly Glendale Heights where Lakefront Strategies is located. to get a detailed account of the events leading up to the removal of the Lakefront Strategies Web page, visit http://bungalowbillscw.blogspot.com/2010/10/is-chicagolands-lakefront-strategies.html.

However, there is still a Facebook page for Lakefront Strategies and their business phone is still in service, 312-772-3340. There should be some real questions about why they have removed so much of their Web presence within minutes of the Eckersley press release.

Lakefront Strategies is a political consulting firm owned by Patrick Binning. Binning has been removing his Web presence after promoting a false Eckersley Twitter account and news of the Eckersley campaign pressing charges.

Canton, Ohio McDonald's Encourages People to Vote for Republicans

We all know the war against McDonald's and the fast food chains have started. Obama's healthcare law ill scrutinize those who live free, unhealthy lifestyles regardless of whether it is a cigarette or a Quarter Pounder. A Northeastern McDonald's recently recommended to its employees to vote for Republicans in Ohio.

McDonald's headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois, which faces more big government regulations, condemned the actions of the Canton franchise. They may wish soon they didn't.

The following press release is from the Scott Eckersley campaign:

Springfield, MO 29th October 2010: The Eckersley campaign drafted a letter of complaint to the Federal Election Commission and the Department of Justice in response to the fraudulent email sent Friday claiming Eckersley’s withdrawal from the 7th District Congressional race.

Attached is the complaint letter.

New information regarding the fraudulent email and the parties responsible continues to develop, and new information is expected to materialize over the next couple of days.

Here is the letter submitted to the Federal Election Commission and the Department of Justice:

Despite Naked Full Body Scanners, The TSA Gets Handsy With Passengers

The United States government is spending millions and millions on naked full body scanners to take images of your gray scaled naked body. Yet, scenes like this are becoming more common at the airport.

It appears the UPS incident earlier in the week will soon reign in the next phase of TSA thuggery--the full body pat down. Humiliating!

“Passengers should continue to expect an unpredictable mix of security layers that include explosives trace detection, advanced imaging technology, canine teams, among others,” the TSA said in a statement on Friday.

FBI Involved Now Involved in Fake Scott Eckersley E-Mail Stunt

KOLR reports the FBI has started an investigation regarding an e-mail that was sent to the media claiming Eckersley is dropping out of the race.

Fake Ike Skelton Twitter Page Includes Axiom, Shawn Bell, and Patrick J. Binning

It's been about 24 hours since the news of a fake Scott Eckersley e-mail hit the airwaves on KSPR announcing he was dropping out of the race. That e-mail came for a Yahoo! account and was sent from an ISP in Addison, IL. A few hours later after the initial investigation, a lead was developed from a LFStrategies Twitter entry that promoted a fake Scott Eckersley Twitter Account.

LFStrategies is short of Lakefront Strategies, a political consulting firm ran by Patrick Binning in Glendale Heights, Illinois which borders Addison. Shortly after 5:00 PM last night, Binning began deleting an electronic trail of information for the tweet that promoted the fake Scott Eckersley Web site to his Linked In page that shows a possible connection to Billy Long himself. Fortunately, we took screen shot and saved those Web pages for Eckersley's attorney.

Digging last night turned up another interesting note to add to this story of the fake Eckersley e-mail. It turns out there was also a fake Ike Skelton Twitter account on the Web. While this account was more of a joke than any attempt to unlawfully tamper with an election, which the e-mail clearly did, there are three names that appear on the fake Ike Skelton twitter page.

They are:

Axiom Strategies--Billy Long's political consulting firm.

Shawn M. Bell--who began calling bloggers up yesterday afternoon begging to take his name off of any reference to the fake e-mail and James Harris' tweet that announced Scott Eckersley dropped out of the race. Bell retweeted the Harris tweet and then both Harris and Bell deleted their tweets without any correction.

Then finally, Patrick J. Binning--He too is listed as a follower to the fake Ike Skelton Twitter account.

How much involvement did these three have in the fake Scott Eckersley e-mail and Twitter account is still unknown, but it does seem interesting they all three appear on the fake Ike Skelton page. What's more interesting is Binning is trying to hide his electronic tracks that show his possible connections to Billy Long.

You can also see, the fake Ike Skelton page, which too has been deleted, was talked about as recently as October 22, 2010 by Shawn M. Bell on his Twitter account.

Patrick J. Binning Removes Linked In Profile With Key Information That Could Tie Him to Billy Long and Controversial E-Mail

Patrick J. Binning continues to cover his electronic tracks on the Internet. As mentioned earlier today, his LFStrategies Twitter account was removed after it was exposed he promoted the fake Scott Eckersley Twitter account and the ISP of the fake Scott Eckersley e-mail claiming Eck was dropping out of the race.

Binning's Linked In page showed his Springfield, Missouri connection, his involvement in GOP politics, and that he graduated from Greenwood probably about the time of Billy Long's daughters. As well, he owns a political consulting firm located just a couple miles from Addison, IL, where the IP address says the e-mail came from.

I will be sending the Eckersley campaign the saved Linked In profile so Eckersley's attorney can look at the evidence and make a decision whether or not to press charges. There does seem to be a Billy Long connection with this e-mail at the moment, and someone is working hard to cover their tracks.

More People Seeing Through Billy Long's Fed Up Routine and the News-Leader's Billy Long Endorsement

Since when does merely being "fed up" qualify you to serve in the United States Congress? Since Thursday, according to the News-Leader, which saw fit to endorse a candidate whose grasp of the issues facing our state and nation is equivalent to Barney Fife's grasp of the intricacies of law enforcement.

Billy Long's "fed up" with Washington, but supports career Washington politician and father of the Wall Street bailout, Roy Blunt, takes ... dollars from the very PACs and lobbyists that control Washington and hasn't articulated one thing he would do as our representative that would change one thing in Washington. Well let me tell you what I am "fed up" about.

I am "fed up" with politicians who say they aren't politicians as if that is a badge of honor. Webster's definition of a politician is "a person experienced in the art or science of government." God forbid, having someone like that representing us in Washington. And I am "fed up" with candidates touting their business background as if the mere fact that they owned, ran, managed or inherited a business automatically makes them someone we would want to trust with our government. Anyone ever hear of Wall Street? Goldman Sachs? Lehman Brothers? Enron? Ken Lay ran a heck of a large business and I think we could all agree that having him make decisions for the rest of us wouldn't be such a great thing.

And finally, most of all, I am "fed up" with candidates basing their entire candidacy on catchy phrases, slogans or marketing gimmicks. While basing your candidacy on a catchy slogan might get you an endorsement from the News-Leader, it sure doesn't get my vote. To Billy Long, I say, "Where's the Beef?"

Kay Mills, Springfield, Missouri

Roy Blunt Praises Billy Long with a Talking Point at For Profit Tea Party Event: Even Roy Can't List Good Reasons to Vote for Billy Long

The for-profit Tea Party known as the Tea Party Patriot HQ in Branson held a Republican party love fest last night at their headquarters. Giving Roy Blunt a pass on TARP, Cash for Clunkers, The Patriot Act, Department of Homeland Security, the TSA, growing the government, spending more and more, Tera Sukman's propped up Blunt and a list of Republicans while breaking their pledge not to endorse candidates, but promote candidates who sign their pledge. Scott Eckersley signed their pledge but wasn't invited.

According to the News-Leader, Roy Blunt said some words about Billy Long.

He praised Long, saying Long would have voted against the $800 billion economic stimulus package.

Gee Roy, tell us something about Billy we don't know like why is he running around Southwest Missouri praising parts of Obamacare, or where he really stands on Social Security, the 17th Amendment, and the Department of Education after flip flopping on these issues?

Springfield News-Leader Continues to be Questioned Over Billy Long Endorsement

Billy Long the best prepared to stand up for Ozarkers? Really?

Let's just see. Billy attended University of Missouri in Columbia. But he didn't finish. Instead, he graduated from Missouri Auction School in Kansas City. Scott Eckersley, Brigham Young University, with a degree in finance and law. Oh gee, you're so right, Long has just what this state needs. Now when some politician goes to sell his vote, finally there will be someone ... to auction it off to the highest bidder.

Scott, while working for a sitting governor, had the moral conviction to protect the laws of this state even if it meant his job and possibly his career. I don't know of anything Long has done that in any way compares to that. Except he did go to Vegas after he won the primary. I guess the Springfield News-Leader will say it was for the cultural aspects of Vegas ... Really? But then the News-Leader also endorsed Roy Blunt because he is such a moral and honest person too. Really? ...

Well, I would like to make my own endorsement, and I hope others will follow: I think that the Springfield News-Leader is best prepared to line the bottom of my bird cage.

Leesa Bumgarner, Fordland, Missouri

If I had a bird, I wouldn't even spend the 50 cents to line my birdcage with the Springfield News-Leader and Cory De Vera's drivel, Ms. Bumgarner.

Patrick J. Benning Deletes Lakefront Strategies Twitter Page After Scott Eckersley Announces Criminal Charges Will be Filed for E-Mail Controversy and BBCW Makes Billy Long Connection

The fraudulent e-mail that showed up at most of the media outlets yesterday announcing Scott Eckersley was suspending his campaign has an IP address from Addison, IL. Based on information on Twitter using a fake Eckersley twitter account that showed up earlier this week, a Lakefront Strategies, a political consulting group with possible ties to Billy Long, was caught promoting the fake Eckersley twitter account.

After Eckersley released their press release claiming intent to press criminal charges, LFStrategies deleted references to the Scott Eckersley account from their Twitter page. A few minute prior to deleting those references, Jim Lee and myself managed to capture screen shots of the tweet.

About 8:00 PM last night, BBCW released a blog that connected Patrick J. Binning and his Lake Front Strategies to Billy Long. Two hours later the LFStrategies twitter account had been entirely removed. Why would Lake Front Strategies remove their Twitter social media presence suddenly after a story was released that connects Binning, who I believe may have wrote the Scott Eckersley is quitting e-mail, to Billy Long?

Scott Eckersley Fake E-mail Writer Suspect Has Ties to Billy Long

The Springfield News-Leader reports the fraudulent Scott Eckersley suspends campaign e-mail originated from an ISP located in Addison, Illinois. So that opens a question, why would someone from Chicagoland be interested in our Congressional race in Southwest Missouri?

Earlier this week, bloggers began talking about a fraudulent Scott Eckersley twitter account that was sending out tweets misrepresenting Eckersley's position on the issues. A closer look at the followers of the fake Scott Eckersley for Congress Twitter account identified a curious follower known as LFStrategies. LFStrategies tweeted the following encouraging people to take a look at why Eckersley is bad for Southwest Missouri.

Interestingly enough, that tweet, which was at the following link http://twitter.com/LFStrategies/status/28739191567, has been removed as has the fake Scott Eckersley twitter account shortly after news broke the Eckersley campaign was prepared to press criminal charges against whoever wrote the e-mail.

It was noted earlier today, that Billy Long's campaign strategist James Harris quickly tweeted about the fraudulent e-mail without ever verifying its accuracy. As well, Shawn Bell, who Fired Up Missouri identified as once working for Harris, and who are accused of using similar letter writing tactics against Brian Nieves, tweeted and removed their tweets within the hour. Bell is now calling bloggers begging them to remove his name from the story trying to distance himself from James Harris, Billy Long and this story about the e-mail. Jim Lee, who writes Busplunge spoke to a nervous Bell about 2:30 this afternoon. Lee recorded the conversation, and I listened to the tape of Bell distancing himself from James Harris and Billy Long. Why did Bell feel the need to call bloggers who quickly announced Bell's tweet and and his connection to James Harris? What is Bell afraid of?

Let's go back to LFStrategies, and look at why they may have deleted their tweet promoting the fake Scott Eckersley twitter account, and let's also ask was LFStrategies behind the fake Scott Eckersley twitter account.

As mentioned earlier, the e-mail's ISP shows that it originated in Addison, IL. It turns out that just a couple miles away is Lakefront Strategies (LFStrategies on Twitter) in Glendale Heights. Coincidentally, the current Missouri 7 Representative and US Senate candidate Roy Blunt follows Lakefront Strategies on Twitter and so does Billy Long.

Isn't it strange that when criminal charges began being tossed about, Lake Front Strategies, a political strategy company that was encouraging a fraudulent Scott Eckersley Twitter account suddenly removes the tweet that reads, @seckersleymo7; running in the 7th district of Missouri is not the type of character Southwest Missouri needs. Why remove this tweet if it was innocent shortly after Eckersley announces there will criminal investigation?

It's very possible the e-mail may have been sent from Lakefront Strategies. Considering how we see back scratching works in politics, especially in Jeff Roe's world with the Mike Huckabee's endorsement of Billy Long, which was a political favor for Roe's work in the 2008 Huckabee for President campaign, is Lakefront Strategies helping the Kansas City strategists out--a political favor so to speak?

Consider the closeness of Glendale Heights, Illinois, to Addison, IL. Here's a map of the two Chicago suburbs:

Addison boarders Glendale Heights and is divided by Interstate 355 formerly known at the North South Tollway now called Veterans Memorial Tollway. It's very possible Lakefront Strategies Internet server is located in Addison.

Here's some basic information about Lakefront Strategies. It's a political strategy organization like Jeff Roe's Axiom Strategies. It's owned by Patrick J. Binning.

Patrick J. Benning's Facebook page says he is from Springfield, Missouri. It also ties him to Re-Max, a real estate company, which is enforced on his Linked In page. Is this a coincidence, or does this suggest there could be a very real tie to Billy Long?

A closer look at at Patrick J. Benning's education shows he went to Greenwood Laboratory School from 1991 to 2004. Considering his age, that puts him at the school about the same time Billy Long's daughters would have attended Greenwood.

As well, Binning has been very active in Republican party politics starting in college. His Facebook page reads:

While at NIU, I was elected Chairman of the Illinois College Republican Federation in 2007. In 2009 I was appointed as Executive Director of the same organization. I also served briefly as Director of Operations for the DeKalb County Republican Central Committee.

Considering all these coincidences, did Patrick J. Binning write the e-mail to the media that claimed Scott Eckersley was suspending his campaign?

Considering Shawn Bell's nervousness to distance himself from James Harris and Billy Long, did Billy Long's strategists pay Patrick J. Binning to write the e-mail that caused the controversy today?

Since this was first published at BBCW, Binning has totally removed his LFStrategies from Facebook. As well, evidence shows that Binning, Axiom Strategies, and Shawn Bell followed and or particpated in a fake Ike Skelton twitter page.

Is Chicagoland's Lakefront Strategies Behind the Fraudulent Scott Eckersley E-Mail?: Billy Long Connections to Fraudulent E-Mail

Eckersley Campaign to File Ethics Charges in Fraudulent E-Mail Scandal: Campaign Points Finger at Billy Long

Scott Eckersley's campaign has made no doubts about who they think are behind the fraudulent e-mail that was sent to media sources claiming they were suspending their campaign. They believe Jeff Roe, Billy Long's campaign strategist is behind the fraudulent e-mail.

In a move that may have awakened and encouraged Democrats to vote, the media woke up today to read a fraudulent e-mail written from a Yahoo! account claiming Scott was bowing out of the Congressional race. The Eckersley campaign appears to be moving to take legal action. They have released the following press release:

Springfield, MO 29th October 2010: A fraudulent email declaring Scott Eckersley had withdrawn from Missouri’s 7th district congressional race is more than a hoax; it is criminal conduct which carries jail time. The Eckersley campaign is pursuing legal action, filing complaints with the Federal Election Commission and the Department of Justice.

Eckersley’s attorney, Neil Reiff said that the email violates 2 U.S. code section 441h (Fraudulent Misrepresentation of Campaign Authority), and is a very serious offense.

The Eckersley Campaign is also pursuing action through Yahoo to close the fraudulent account from which the email was sent.

A Federal Government Without a Kennedy?: It May Happen Come January

The GOP's John J. Loughlin II has moved within two points of Patrick Kennedy in the Rhode Island House race. In liberal New England, there is a chance Loughlin may win and send the last Kennedy left in the federal government home.

"What we are finding in Rhode Island is exactly what we found in Massachusetts during Scott Brown's election, and that is extreme voter unrest about the liberal, big-government, agenda that is bankrupting our nation," said Eric Fehrnstrom, the architect of Mr. Brown's win and now a strategist with the Loughlin campaign.

"People are just now beginning to wake up to the fact that our country is on the brink of financial ruin and Rhode Island is not immune to the voter backlash that we are witnessing in other parts of the country."

Wouldn't that be something! No more Kennedys.

Jeff Roe Responds to Eckersley's Claim that He is Behind the E-Mail

Jeff Roe, Billy Long's controversial strategy director with Axiom Strategies claims he wasn't part of an fraudulent e-mail that announced Scott Eckersley was suspending his election. Roe told the Joplin Globe:

“Why would I do that?” Roe said. “If he realized how little he meant to me, it would probably hurt his feelings. If he knew how little time I spend thinking about Scott Eckersley, it would be disappointing to him.”

I should count all the times Jeff Roe has hit this Web site since August 3, sometimes several times an hour on some days as of recently regarding the Metrogate allegations and speeding ticketsin the News Leader, to show you how much time Roe and his Axiom goons spend on here in the ongoing debate about why Billy Long isn't qualified to go to Congress. Obviously, Roe spends more time than he wants to admit to the Globe. His ISP has hit four times just today, six times yesterday, and when an article was published about associate Jason Klindt, the ISP continued to hit the site over and over one day.

This quote is nothing new from Roe. After Roe and James Harris were accused of wrongdoing with Brian Nieves's campaign, Roe had a similar quote as well about not caring about the opposition he is paid to care about.

"I have 31 campaigns in 18 states," Roe said. "While (Nieves) is having prayer vigils about Armageddon, I'm watching Monday Night Football."

This is a tactic Roe has used in the past to distance him from trouble.

KSPR Not Issuing a Joint Statement With Scott Eckersely Over MO-7 E-Mailgate

Scott Eckersley's campaign just released the following press release:

Springfield, MO 29th October 2010: An email sent to media outlets across Missouri’s 7th District claiming that Scott Eckersley is withdrawing from Missouri’s 7th District Congressional race is false, and was not sent from the Eckersley Campaign. The Eckersley Campaign suspects the Billy Long Campaign’s involvement with the press release.

“This is the worst kind of negative campaigning - when a campaign hides while they have others do their dirty work. I am sure Billy would love to have me out of the race, but this isn’t the way to go about it,” said Eckersley,

“This thing isn’t over until November 2nd.” Eckersley and KSPR will be issuing a joint statement today at 2:00 PM today from the KSPR studios to refute the phony press release. ###

As this strange story continues to develop, I thought it was odd that KSPR would be issuing a joint statement with the Eckersley campaign. KSPR's news room says they don't know why the Eckersley campaign said this in their press release, but KSPR will not be issuing a joint statement with the Eckersley camp.

The day gets stranger in the events surrounding the e-mail claiming Eckersley was quitting the race. Earlier today, James Harris, Billy Long's campaign strategist was quick to tweet about it without checking sources. He and Shawn Bell, who has claims made against him of a similar campaign e-mail controversy, tweeted the Eckersely dropped out of the race around the 9:00 hour and then deleted the tweets sometime around 10:00 am. They have issued no reversal that I have seen, and appear to have manipulated the story for Billy Long's advantage. Both campaigns are making illogical moves concerning the fraudulent e-mail
