The Democrats: The Party of Superior Intellect Just Like Hank Johnson Who Thinks Guam Will Capsize

They claim the Democratic party is the party of intellectuals, and if you don't believe that, just listen to Representative Hank Johnson for a prime example of this superior intellect they celebrate. Uh and uh, and that island is going to capsize because of Marines. Notice the admiral wants to laugh as this idiot.

Of course, Obama's looking for new supporters. Maybe Johnson is just looking to help Obama out by trying to create more liberal junk science.

It Doesn't Look Like Our Billy Long is Helping Win Over Future Conservatives on Twitter

Scanning Twitter tonight, I couldn't help but notice the hot girl, who turns out to be a lesbian, following Republican Billy Long. Her Twitter name is Victoria Pavlov, or Sweet Vicky 3 for short. Curious about why an attractive lesbian would follow Billy Long, I decided to check out her Twitter page.

So I get to Sweet Vicky's Twitter page, and once again I am reminded that Billy Long's social media strategy hasn't been worth the hassles of the problems his tweets have caused him.

After reading Sweet Vicky 3 on Twitter, I figure she follows Billy Long to use as an example in her arguments in an effort to prove her own twisted and misinformed views on Republicans and conservatives. For instance:

Sweet Vicky obviously isn't bright enough, as she cuts and pastes info to sign a petition begging Obama not to drill for oil, to realize the computer that sits in front of her is a petroleum product made possible with this great evil she petitions. This is about Billy Long though, not Vicky's own liberal insanity, so I regress.

I will never understand the mindset of a conservative. I believe it must be caused by some sort of genetic disease! Sweet Vicky writes.

So is it Billy Long's tweets that made her come to this conclusion. I mean I haven't really figured out if Billy Long is truly a conservative, since he supports liberal local candidates like the mayor of Springfield, but he is posing as one in the Missouri Seven Congressional race. I fear he's giving Sweet Vicky the wrong idea, and after observing Billy Long on Twitter she obviously has been led to believe conservatism is a gentic disease. (I think this insane liberal meant mental disease.)

Just a few minutes before she made the conservatism is a disease claim, she writes:

When will there be justice for animals and humans alike on this earth?

Poor giraffe!

How can the US be allowing cat meat!?!

Sweet Vicky probably shouldn't be diagnosing gentic diseases or mental diseases for that matter, but I still beleive following Billy Long is hurting her peception of what conservatism is.

Finally she tweets, The Republicans are so stupid. Their newest, and most lame, scare tactic: the healthcare bill is going to kill small business! LOL

Actually that isn't a new thought Vicky, and it's already been documented the healthcare reform law has already had a big cost to some employers. Like I said, this is about Billy Long's Twitter followers, and I really fear this is the perception Billy Long provides to young minds full of mush, like young Victoria, hurts true conservatives in the long run. If I wasn't a conservative and didn't know better, I would probably make similar tweets as well after reading Billy Long's mindless tweets.

The bottom line is it doesn't look like Billy Long is winning over future conservatives on Twitter.

Communities Making Up for Lower Sales Tax Revenue by Closing the Speeding Cushion

The speeding cushion is that five or six miles per hour over the speed limit most officers let drivers get away with. However, with the recession lowering sales tax revenues, and communities struggling to make ends meet, rather than make cuts in the budget, they will make cuts in the speed cushion. The result--more speeding tickets that take more money from the people.

"Not only are the (speeding) tolerances much lower, but the frequency of a warning instead of a ticket is way down," says James Baxter, president of the National Motorists Association, a group that helps fight speeding tickets.

"Most people, if they're stopped now, are getting a ticket even if it's only a minor violation of a few miles per hour," Baxter says.

Anything they can do to part you with more of your hard earned money, the government will do!

Please Donate to Billy Long for Congress, PLEASE: Billy Long Continues to Look Desperate for Campaign Donations to End First Quarter

Billy Long continues to beg on Twitter for campaign donations. Like I said, he sounds more desperate than PBS during pledge week, and you know how frequently they butt in the one time of the year they show something good to ask for money.

Long continues to ask for donations before midnight tonight. Why midnight? Because the FEC requires he reports his donations for the quarter, and based on what you can observe on Twitter, one could make a guess that this may have been a disappointing quarter for Billy Long as he appears to continue lose steam the closer we get to election day. I guess we will know in the next few days.

Of course, he could also be collecting for a legal defense fund. You never know. In case you haven't heard, there have been three ethics complaints filed against Billy Long, and the FEC has confirmed receipt of the complaints at this time.

Casino Jips Woman of $42 Million Slot Machine Jackpot

A casino is refusing to pay out a $42 million plus jackpot that a woman won while playing slots in Central City, Colorado. The casino told the woman, "we can't pay that to you." Then they told the woman the machine malfunctioned. What you mean the slot machines are fixed?

The casino told the woman at 4:30 in the morning that the casino isn't even worth $42 million. Boy this is something. If this woman loses this, it sets up the case that benefits the casino.

The casino offered the woman a free breakfast and nights stay, and they refunded the woman's $23 she played. They at least owe this woman a settlement. This really makes you wonder even more about the integrity of the gaming industry.

When I first read this, I was hoping this was a Vegas casino, because we all know they probably couldn't afford to pay it out thanks to Barack Obama coming down so hard on Vegas in the first 13 months of his administration.

Darrell Moore's Political Gamble Against the Little Guy: Southwest Missouri is Taking Notice

It’s looks to me, Greene County prosecutor Darrell Moore’s office hoped for a conviction on some clothes and living room evidence from an arson fire that just came back from the lab negative earlier this week. With little evidence now from the fire and their theory for a guilty ruling out the door, Moore’s office appears pigheaded to prosecute a man for a crime even though it looks like the prosecution’s case has fallen apart. It makes me wonder what Moore’s real agenda is in this case.

I ask this because after reading the message boards on KY3 it appears some people believe it may be politically motivated. One commenter on the board noted the closeness of the case between two men running for Congress in the Seventh District, which of course leads you to ask was this always politically motivated? After all, there seemed to be a rush to call in the feds based on contradictory reports, and there also seems to be a rush to judgment. One could also make the case that Republican Darrell Moore has worked to deny the accused of key rights contained in the Bill of Rights, since his star witness is a dog and the bail now seems excessive based on the lack of evidence. It seems curious as of now, was this politically motivated to embarrass another candidate in the Missouri Seventh Congressional District Race. By all accounts, it looks like Moore’s case has fallen apart, and it may just be possible he is trying to avoid embarrassment himself hoping something miraculous surfaces that will prevent a reasonable doubt.

Of course all this could very well come back and haunt Moore in the election. With what appears to be his hopes of making a case against the accused despite his key evidence coming back negative, Moore looks like he could care less about the little guy for his own self-gains possibly politically and prosecutorial. This isn’t going to sit well with conservatives who fear the loss of rights in the Constitution and it definitely isn’t going to sit well tea partiers who are tired of self-serving politicians. The longer he keeps what appears may be an innocent man behind bars without substantial evidence for a conviction, the more the little guys are going to take notice and begin to realize this case may appear to be politically motivated from the beginning, and perhaps in an effort to avoid embarrassment, Moore is only making the embarrassment worse for himself.

For whatever reasons, despite key evidence being thrown out after laboratory tests, Darrell Moore appears gung ho for a conviction, and he’s fighting hard with next to nothing. It really doesn’t look good to the electorate who are already angry of being walked all over by powerful politicians.

Act II: Obama's Big Oil Political Theater, The Illusion He Cares About Cheap Energy and Jobs

By my calculations, we are over a year behind schedule on oil exploration thanks to Barack Obama. Prior to leaving office George W. Bush reached an agreement that would open up oil exploration and drilling, and one of the first things Obama did through Ken Salazar, the Interior Secretary, was reverse any progress made in those final months of Bush 43.

So when you consider Obama's announcement today, remember, we are already a year behind schedule thanks to Obama playing politics as usual. Now, Obama wants the country to believe he suddenly cares about people being able to afford to put gasoline in their cars so they can go to work, make a living, and enjoy some out time with their families. Throw this picture out of your mind immediately. This is another act from Obama's Neighborhood of Make Believe all designed to make radical changes to America as we know it.

With today's announcement, Obama only opened up a fraction of what George W. Bush managed to open. Obama only appears to be working to fix the problem. It's all an act. With today's decision, he gave the Department of the Interior more control over where the oil is. It's no wonder that after 30 years after its creation the Department of Energy hasn't even come close to reaching their goals of reducing America's dependence on foreign energy. The political game prevents any gains in real energy dependence reductions from foreign sources.

In the first part of Act II, Obama makes this announcement, despite the fact it contradicts all of his attacks and rhetoric he used to get elected. You see, Obama knows fuel prices are rising, and Americans will soon face $3 to $4 a gallon gasoline prices, if not higher. Remember the summer fuel regulations go into effect tomorrow, April 1st. And gasoline prices always rise now that we are in the summer formulation change. Obama doesn't want to take the blame for price increases, which has been traditionally the case, so he's acting to make people believe he cares about the necessary fuels needed to run a modern-day economy.

He doesn't. Gasoline prices are going up, and I see little hope that we will see a break in prices anytime soon like we did towards the end of 2008, even with this little play he puts on for the American people. Remember 2008 when it was costing $60 to fill up your little Honda? Be prepared again for that.

Now that he has created the illusion we are drilling, he can point the blame away from himself while at the same time proving his own campaign rhetoric. You see, I told you drilling wasn't going to bring down prices, and he will point his finger at the oil companies claiming he made an effort to help on March 31, 2010, but big greedy oil didn't play along.

The bottom line here is he has done little to improve oil production for the United States. He has allowed for minimal production at best, and that is if the liberal environmental lobbies drive to court using the same oil they curse to fight this and actually lose their cases. Because you know they will drive to court with their attorneys, and they will drag the legal battles out for years.

Obama doesn't care about affordable energy for all Americans. If he did, he wouldn't have been working behind the scenes today giving the EPA more power to regulate carbon dioxide.Oh yes, Obama's drill here drill now hid the fact his executive order giving the Environmental Protection Agency more power paralleled today's speech. He wouldn't have reversed Bush's efforts over a year ago either.

I hope you aren't fooled by any of this. In the end, Obama will get what he wants, and that is an America he has more control of through higher energy costs. Make no mistake that has always been his goal.

Evil 15-Year-Old Takes Her 7-Year-Old Stepsister for Sex Party at New Jersey Apartment Complex: After Teenager Prostituted Herself, Sister Gang Raped

A New Jersey teenager brought her seven-year-old stepsister to a sex party where the teenager sold herself for sex. After she got there, she left her with seven men to who would later gang rape the child while the evil stepsister watched.

"We're talking about a kid who told her sister to go into an apartment and let people rape her," said Trenton police Capt. Joseph Juniak. "It's unfathomable."

The parents of the two children thought they had just runaway. When the girls didn’t return on Sunday by 4:30, they called the police. Actually they were down the street in a 13-floor apartment building in one of the most dangerous buildings in Trenton.

Inside apartment 13-C, police said the 7-year-old was soon left alone as her sister headed to a back bedroom to sell sex to several men. When she came out into the living room, she handed her 7-year-old sister money and encouraged her to let the men touch her.

"It went from touching to straight out assault and rape," Juniak said. "They threatened to kill her if she screamed or told anyone."

Afterward, the child put on her clothes and left. Her sister stayed behind with the men.

Two women found the child crying outside the apartment and walked her home, where police were waiting.

And to think morality and Christianity is under attack in this country. It’s a shame people are void of reasoning skills and need to ask how could this happen in America. It’s quite obvious to me.

Obama's Ulterior Oil Motive: You Scratch my Back and I Will Scratch Yours Cap and Trade Move

Obama just signed into law $3 trillion in new taxes in the healthcare reform law. $600 plus billion more in new taxes are sitting in the Senate waiting on the passage of cap and trade. Obama is looking for bipartisan support for cap and trade, and it's quite possible the deal has already been made.

That deal may already made in the trade off for limited domestic oil exploration on selected coasts (obviously a Virginia Senator is involved) for cap and trade. From Fox News today, “The president is throwing a bone to Republicans in hopes that this will be his foot in the door to a massive climate change bill, and that’s not going to happen.”

I guess we will soon seen, since Democrats are readying to give cap and trade life again.

Steve Hunter Addresses Accusations that He's Part of the Billy Long Campaign Strategy

The MO-7 blog features a tweeted interview with Steve Hunter, the latest Republican to join the crowded race in the Republican primary in Missouri’s Seventh Congressional District. Interestingly enough, Hunter is already on defense. Could it be I am not the only one who suspects Hunter, the Mel Hancock protégé, was planted in this race by the Billy Long campaign to take away votes from Gary Nodler in Joplin and to possibly help soften Billy Long’s own ethics problems.

He spoke with Chad Livengood, and it seems to address my entire blog I wrote last night after I learned Hunter entered the race and discovered the baggage he carries into this race.

Hunter’s reasons to run, according to MO-7 aren’t very inspiring. He says he is running because he is an “unemployed, looking for work, former state representative who has no money.” In other words, he has nothing to lose if indeed he is a creation of Jeff Roe or another operative within the Billy Long campaign.

Livengood also asked him if he was running to take a slice out of Nodler’s Jasper and Newton county support. Hunter’s answer sounds like he has already been called out and been placed in defense mode. “No one put me up to run. No one puts me up to do anything.” No one? Not even George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Alexander Hamilton, Andrew Jackson, Ulysses S. Grant, or Benjamin Franklin?

Something is strange with Hunter’s late addition to the field, especially when you consider the ethics problems his wife faces. It appears Hunter is already defending why he is in this race.

Billy Long: Keeping a Red Seat Red With the Mask of Ordinary People Hiding Big Business Donors

Billy Long is in overdrive the past two days with his cite a donor and keep a red seat red tweets. It’s like watching pledge week on PBS. I sit watching day after day Southwest Missourians, who face tough economic times, send in $250, $500, $1000 with amazement. You have got to start to wonder, especially since most of Billy’s Twitter followers don’t even live in the state of Missouri if this is all staged.

It’s nice to thank people for their contributions, but something always has seemed to stink about these tweets since I began following Long on Twitter. Honestly, they don’t add up to a large amount of donations, but they do successfully mask that Billy Long will be controlled by big business in Southwest Missouri despite his claim. You never hear Billy Tweet about how Ed Pinegar’s family has donated over $10,000. Of course Long says he opposes the bailouts; yet, Pinegar knows the government has the control now to shut his dealership down. Obviously, he looks to Billy to be his player in Congress, screw the little people whose children will receive the large debt the bailouts, TARP, and stimulus continues to add to. Pinegar needs to sell cars, and he needs a friend in government these days (or someone he can buy) to ensure the federal government doesn’t make the decision to close his Chevrolet lots at a later date.

Or what about Gordon Kinne’s contributions, another business man in Southwest Missouri who has a real interest in Obamacare, the same healthcare reform law that Long says he is going to Washington to oppose. Republicans in the right positions often get rich from unpopular Democrat plans. Oh, Billy wants us to forget these donors, because they represent the donors that career politicians attract, and Billy Long isn’t one of those even though he acts like a career politician.

Just keep paying attention to Colleen who sent $50 in to help keep a red seat red. She’s just one of the common people who believes Billy’s rhetoric. Colleen, he’s already been bought. Your $50 does little to get Billy’s ear, but it will get you a tweet.

Earlier this week, Missouri 7th Congressional District race observers noticed five or six tweets in a row praising Pete Herschend of Silver Dollar City fame. Pull up the Federal Election Commission donor database. Herschend has room to give more, obviously Billy Long is begging these days using Twitter.

So it will be interesting to watch, since we saw Billy beg on Twitter earlier this week, to see if campaign donations tightened up for the Long campaign over the first quarter? I guess we will know since they must file their quarterly statement tonight. My prediction is they have, and as word of Billy Long’s ethics problems spreads more across the district, they will continue to dry up. These ethics problems may be the greatest challenge in keeping a red seat red.

Obama, Democrats, and Liberals Owe Sarah Palin Apology over Oil and Energy Policy: Obama Sounding Palinesque Today with Offshore Drilling Plan

Oh, remember the days when Obama, Democrats, and liberals attacked Sarah Palin for sounding off on drill baby drill? Oh how things change in such a short time. If I am not mistaken, Obama’s announcement today that he plans to open up offshore oil production in the United States sound Palinesque to say the least. Since liberal Democrats and the minions continue to make Palin out to be the stupidest person in politics, what’s that make Barack Obama now that he has followed Mrs. Palin’s advice?

Oh, but you will never see liberals address this truth. They are too busy running to the courts to stop this madness in the name of environmentalism. Obama was supposed to get us off the oil teat, boo hoo! Green energy, rah, rah, rah!

Of course, I am not buying into Obama’s intentions. The government is broke, and they need to lease out oil fields and then tax them. They will do so at a great cost to American oil companies. Then they will regulate them out of business just like we will soon observe they will do with the insurance companies through Obamacare.

Mrs. Palin, I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for an apology. They will just find something else to demonize you over.

Is Obama Nationalizing Domestic Oil Production?: Does Obama Have and Ulterior Motive for More Power?

Just a little over a year ago, Barack Obama told Americans off-shore drilling would not have any short-term benefits for Americans as he attacked John McCain. He also claimed it would not lower gas prices this year, next year, or even five years. Obama said there would be no benefit for drilling off shore until 2030, and even then the benefits would be very little. Obama was quiet intent on pushing this point home.

Then suddenly today, Obama thinks we should start drilling for oil off shore. So a less than a year and a half ago, Obama believed in no benefits in drilling. Today, it’s a different story. While I watch industry after industry under more control of the government, who’s to say this isn’t another plan of Obama to nationalize the oil industry in American and take more control of it? Obama always has an ulterior motive. The government could just as easily take over control of the oil industry if they allow this to happen and then tax it into government control. After all, many of us see President Chavez leading this country and not a free market president.

This could also be a special deal for a healthcare vote in Virginia. Notice he isn’t opening up the possibility for oil exploration across the United States. It’s very specific to the Virginia coast, which has never been used for oil production for. Who is Obama paying off for a healthcare vote?

In today’s announcement of opening up off shore oil exploration, Obama follows John McCain’s plan, and oh that silly Sarah Palin who they mocked for drill baby drill. They make her out to be the dumbest woman in the world; yet, Obama appears to be following the McCain Palin lead, which as mentioned earlier he attacked during the 2008 presidential debate.

Make no doubt, whether this is a payoff or the attempt to nationalize the next part of the American economy, Obama has a plan. He was much to passionate in opposing oil production in the United States not to be thinking for his own power with this announcement today.

Lamar Alexander Announces Obama's New Motto After Federal Government Student Loan Take Over

Tennessee Senator Lamar Alexander believe Obama needs to promote truth in advertising in what the federal Government’s new mission is. He sent out an e-mail to supporters during the weekend, that pointed out the federal takeover of the student loan program. Alexander says the “Obama Administration motto should be: ‘If you can find it in the Yellow Pages, the government ought to be doing it’”

The motto came shortly after Obama’s weekly radio address last weekend. The Alexander e-mail read:

“Nineteen million college students aren’t going to be happy when they find out that the federal government will overcharge them an average of $1,700 to help pay for the new health care law and other government programs. In this latest Washington takeover, the government will borrow money at 2.8 percent and loan it to students at 6.8 percent and spend the difference on more government. Any savings ought to go to students, not the government.

“This takeover will deprive 19 million students of choices, add half a trillion dollars to the federal debt, and throw out of work 31,000 Americans who today help students apply for loans. The motto of the Obama Administration should be: ‘If you can find it in the Yellow Pages, the government ought to be doing it.'"

The Shock of Barack: More Required Reading for Conservatives (Robin From Berkeley)

I have read two excellent articles that conservatives need to pay attention to today. I normally don’t post other author’s works, but these two pieces are very good and need to be spread. This appeared on American Thinker and is penned by Robin from Berkeley.

The Shock of Barack

I've been feeling funky since Black Sunday, the day of the health care debacle.  As a therapist, I'm usually able to identity my feelings.  But this one had left me stumped.

I went through the usual laundry list of emotions:  Am I depressed? (A little, but that's not it.)  Worried, scared? (Yes, but who isn't?)  Angry (Very, but that's still not what's bugging me.)

It took a conversation with a conservative friend, Nancy, for me to pinpoint the feeling.  Nancy told me that a Jewish co-worker, a staunch Obama supporter, was feeling "shell shocked" by Obama's vilifying Israel.

Bingo.  That's what it is:  stunned, shell shocked, traumatized.

But it's not PTSD -- post traumatic stress disorder -- because then Obama would be ancient history.  It's trauma happening right here, right now, at lightning speed.

Trauma means witnessing something that humans are not designed to see, a horror that is more than the self can absorb.  The brutality of war, a gruesome crime scene, the sudden death of a loved one.  Or the evil that unfolds through unchecked power yielded by megalomaniacs.

For me, trauma was that cloudless November day, years ago, when I exited an Oakland restaurant at noon and soon thereafter, lay prone on the concrete, bloody and broken.

Just moments before, I had looked into the eyes of a man who didn't know that I was human, or who knew but didn't care.   I saw something sinister in him, but ignored my gut.  I was still steeped in liberal political correctness and didn't want to appear racially insensitive.

When I see what Obama is doing to this country, how he is treating its citizens, I'm reminded of the man who mugged me.  I think that both are constitutionally incapable of seeing our humanity.  And each day that Obama is in office, he communicates this same deadly message to the masses -- that opponents are not human.

This would explain the burgeoning of hate and even violence towards those who deign to disagree.   And why Tea Party members and conservatives are being targeted, as well as entire countries like Israel.

And this would illuminate why Obama is unfazed while the economy crashes.  And why he cavalierly demonizes Israel, putting millions of Israelis at risk.  And it explains why Obama mocks conservatives who are legitimately worried about this administration's violating fundamental rights.

But how could Obama see us?  Did anyone in his childhood ever see him?

Did little Barry's needs factor into his mother's decision to shlep him to Indonesia to live with her and her alcoholic second husband?   And how much maternal love was on display when she dragged him back home to Hawaii and then abandoned him for good?

Did Obama's humanity matter to Grandpa Stanley and Frank Marshall Davis when they sat around drinking, talking trash talk about women, and telling dirty jokes to the discomfited little Barry?

What was Stanley thinking giving Barry over to Davis, an alleged pedophile and Communist, for mentoring?   And did Davis do the most unspeakable act of violation and dehumanization to Barry, as the teenage Obama hints at in the poem, "Pop"?

Pop takes another shot, neat,

Points out the same amber

Stain on his shorts that I've got on mine, and

Makes me smell his smell, coming

From me;  he switches channels, recites an old poem. . .

Asks for a hug, as I shrink. . .

For someone to survive a difficult childhood intact, he needs at least one person to see his humanity.  It's best if the person is a close relative, but a child can endure with the help of someone else.   An attentive coach, counselor, neighbor, or teacher can work wonders.

Who mirrored Obama's humanity back to him?  Who looked into the young Barry's eyes and reflected back the man he was meant to be?   Who honored and cherished the human being inside?

I'll tell you who -- no one.   His family groomed him and sculpted him. They projected onto him who they wanted him to be.  In later years, other egotistical father figures, like Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers, scripted his Messiah-like role.

But was there someone who loved and honored Obama for who he was?  No.

And that's why Obama cannot see you or me.  He cannot respond to the pain and suffering he is inflicting.  He may, in fact, derive satisfaction by the act of revenge.

Years ago, I came face to face with a man who also didn't know that I existed.   He had no qualms about injuring me and leaving me lying wounded in the middle of the street.

I wasn't a person to him.  I was nothing.  This is where all evil begins:  the dehumanizing of another.

From what I have seen this last year, Obama shows no ability to walk in another person's shoes.  This would require empathy and sensitivity, traits that are nowhere to be found.

Frankly, every time I see Obama, I catch a glimpse of the man who mugged me.

And that, to me, is the true danger and horror and shock of Barack.

A Wake Up Call for Republicans: Is Matt Drudge Creating a Dilusional Republican Base?

Matt Drudge and the Republican delusion
From the Hill’s Pundit Blog

By Brent Budowsky - 03/26/10 11:54 AM ET

In my opinion Matt Drudge is the most important and influential single figure in American media. In terms of daily and ongoing influence he is more influential than The New York Times, the television networks, cable news or anyone else.

Let me suggest here that Drudge's power may turn out to be more of a curse than a blessing for Republicans and conservatives because in my view, it fosters delusions that can lead to defeat. Recently a Gallup poll, of course highlighted on Drudge, found that Obama's numbers had (then) turned more unfavorable than favorable. This has (now) dramatically changed, unreported by Drudge, with Obama's favorables now well above his unfavorables. The generic Democratic vote is leading the generic Republican vote in the last Gallup congressional election survey. The healthcare bill has passed and the president's polls have moved up. Democratic numbers have crept up. Media focus on right-wing death threats is alienating political independents and motivating the Democratic base. But readers of Matt Drudge, listeners to Rush Limbaugh and viewers of Glenn Beck are being fed a false dose of Republican triumphalism and a megaphone for what a majority of voters might see as extremism that is both delusional and politically damaging to Republicans.

Drudge only reports the polls he likes, which gives a warped view of the state of the nation. Limbaugh says he wants opponents "wiped out," sounding like Michael Corleone and far out of touch with heartland America. Glenn Beck attacks Bruce Springsteen's “Born in the USA.”

Excuse me? Attacking “Born in the USA”? What a great Republican platform — for Democrats! Where do these delusions come from, and on what planet are these people living?

It is true that countless lazy individuals in media just read Drudge, patronize his propaganda, and parrot his party line like robots. His influence is unquestioned and immense. Let’s give Matt Drudge credit for entrepreneurial drive to have reached this summit of American media. Let’s give a round of boos for progressives with money who never even attempted a meaningful challenge to Drudge.

But my point today is, delusions lead to defeat and Republicans are falling into the trap. Matt Drudge could be an albatross for Republicans who believe their own propaganda, in the same way that Limbaugh and Beck could be true geniuses about promoting themselves for profitability but major dangers to conservatives and Republicans.

Drudge may not report it, but the healthcare bill passing has put the president on the upswing, Democrats lead Republicans in the Gallup poll, the negatives of the healthcare bill are starting to recede, independents are alienated by right-wing extremism, the jobs picture I predict will soon brighten, and the Democratic base is finally being motivated.

Matt Drudge may be the most important and influential figure in American media and journalism, but this may well be a curse for conservatives, not a blessing. Dreams die hard and delusions lose elections.

Radical Muslims (Black Widows) are Killing Around the Globe: Yet Christians are the Enemies the United States this Week

It’s amazing how the mainstream media is protecting now three fatal terrorist attacks in Russia. They report they are just Chechens, but the three suicide bombings killing over 50 people has the finger prints of radical Islam. Why is there this constant attempt to cover the religious backgrounds not only in the United States around the world.

This has been the case since our Muslim rooted president took office on January 20, 2009. Multiple small attacks in the United States led to great care covering up words like jihad. Now we are seeing the same as Vladimir Putin promises to scrap the culprits from the sewers before this is over. Why is the world afraid to call it what it is? Why is radical Islam protected around the world these days after these events happen.

Here in the United States, the media is more content demonizing some scary people in camouflage shooting guns on their own private property without causing death or damage. They are Christians the press stress. In comparison, look how slow the media has been to admit to the black widows and their association to Al Qaeda and radical Islam. Russian officials believe there are 21 at large Black Widows, but we are more focused on nine militia members. It’s only a matter of time, based on the Department of Homeland Security’s decision to target Americans, until America is attacked again.

John Boehner Confirms Obama's Change on Oil Production is For Political Show Not Energy Responsibility: EPA to Kill More Jobs

You can’t teach an old dog new tricks. With less than a year and a half in office, Americans continue to discover Obama is an old dog, or is that dawg (as in yo dawg with ho somewhere following the syntax)? (I don’t want to offend my Ebonic readers by leaving out all possibilities.)

Many suspect Obama’s decision to suddenly start off-shore drilling was a pleasant surprise, but like anything Obama says, you must instantly ask what is Barry really up to. The very idea that Obama would actually upset his environmental wacko cap and trade supporting fringe is questionable. What’s in it for Obama? Time and a few foolish Americans who will look at the move as a radical departure from Obama’s radical agenda? I am not fooled, and neither is John Boehner. Boehner writes:

The Obama Administration continues to defy the will of the American people who strongly supported the bipartisan decision of Congress in 2008 to lift the moratorium on offshore drilling not just off the East Coast and in the Gulf of Mexico, but off the Pacific Coast and Alaskan shores as well. Opening up areas off the Virginia coast to offshore production is a positive step, but keeping the Pacific Coast and Alaska, as well as the most promising resources off the Gulf of Mexico, under lock and key makes no sense at a time when gasoline prices are rising and Americans are asking ‘Where are the jobs?

It’s long past time for this Administration to stop delaying American energy production off all our shores and start listening to the American people who want an “all of the above” strategy to produce more American energy and create more jobs.  Republicans are listening to the American people and have proposed a better solution – the American Energy Act – which will lower gas prices, increase American energy production, promote new clean and renewable sources of energy, and encourage greater efficiency and conservation.

At the same time the White House makes today’s announcement, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is plotting a new massive job-killer that the American people can’t afford: a cascade of new EPA regulations that will punish every American who dares to flip on a light switch, drive a car, or buy an American product.  Americans simply don’t want this backdoor national energy tax that will drive up energy and manufacturing costs and destroy jobs in our states and local communities.

Matthew Modine Thinks We Should Kiss Osama Bin Ladin's Feet For Peace and Understanding

In Full Metal Jacket, I always thought the movie would have been better if Private Pyle had shot Private Joker instead of Gunnery Sergeant Hartman. Now I have real justification for rewriting the script, since Matthew Modine played Private Joker. His comments on Osama Bin Ladin shows how dangerous current attitudes based on the lack of knowledge of radical Islam really are. Modine told CNN:

Imagine if somebody were to really sit down with Osama Bin Ladin and say, ‘listen man, what is it that you’re so angry at me about that you’re willing to have people strap bombs to themselves, or get inside of airplanes and fly them into buildings.’ That would be the miracle if we can get, sit down and talk to our enemies and find a way for them to hear us. – Matthew Modine

Didn't Modine learn talking doesn't work in Full Metal Jacket? He attempted to talk to Leonard Lawrence, and the situation only got worse. A miracle didn’t happen, and the movie was over once Gunnery Sergeant Hartman died. Other than the ‘me love you long time’ I couldn’t tell you anything about the movie other than Private Joker got his camera stolen after they left Paris Island for Vietnam. The move was over after basic training. God Bless Marine Lee Ermey, or that move would have been long forgotten about, right John Wayne?

It’s this same thinking that you can talk to these morally bankrupt and mentally ill people like Osama bin Ladin that I find dangerous. They don’t want to hear us Mr. Modine. They hate our lifestyles, our way of life, and they want us dead so they can spread their own beliefs around the world. In case you don’t realize it, they are the people that don’t understand. We have tried understanding in so many capacities in the United States, and it fails time and again.

Why don’t you try going over there Mr. Modine. I mean is the world really going to miss one more stupid Hollywood actor after they terrorize your weenie little infidel ass? I know I won’t.

Vincent David Jericho Brings Up Valid Point on Obama's Decision to Drill for Off Shore Oil: Dead Fields and Environmental Law Suits

Is Obama serious about drilling for oil? Vincent David Jericho doesn’t think so, and I tend to agree. Jericho is a little more than suspect of Obama, as we all should be. Jericho firsts ask the question is Obama going to allow drilling that will produce results, or will he drill to prove the liberal environmental Democrats’ arguments that there aren’t enough oil in the United States to make it worth risking the environment over.

Just a couple days ago, Mike Church reviewed an article that cited US Geologist believe the United States sits on the greatest supply of oil in the world. I tend to believe geologists over Obama and the Democrats on this matter. Obama could send oil exploration on a wild goose chase, allowing them access to areas without potential finds only to further their radical environmental agenda.

This, or Obama could be looking over to win new support, knowing the environmentalist in the country will hold up any decision to drill in court for years. Obama is playing political cards here, and we aren’t going to be suckered into this belief that he is finally serious about a responsible energy policy.

Robin Carnahan's Slimy Brother Russ's Blogger Decision Disrespects Blogger and First Amendment Free Speech

Russ Carnahan continues to show he’s capable of measuring up the Chicago thug politics that has taken over Washington DC. Not only does he use the SEIU for his own personal thuggery to attack tea party protesters at last year’s town hall meeting in the St. Louis area, he now is blocking a valuable part of free speech in the modern political process.

Carnahan’s people removed blogger Adam Sharp for his public meeting. Carnahan assembled the meeting to discuss Obamacare, and then had Sharp removed from the meeting.

Sharp writes on his blog SharpElbows:

Why does Congressman Carnahan completely ignore a totally valid question from an actual constituent? I understand that he is a Carnahan which makes him inherently better than me. But he didn't even take the time to regurgitate his talking points at me.

I knew that Russ probably wouldn't answer my question (because he can't) and I wasn't surprised when they decided that citizen journalists would not be allowed in. But what I did find surprising was that one of Congressman Carnahan's employee's followed me to my vehicle and was taking pictures of me. Not that I mind, my wife says I'm handsome, maybe Carnahan's staffer agreed.

Why would they want my picture? I dared to question the great Russy Boy. Maybe the punishment for that is an SEIU purple shirt beatdown.

I'll let you know.

I wonder if Carnahan tries to buy off bloggers too like Southwest Missouri’s own Billy Long allegedly attempted to do?

Obama Seeks Four-Month Jerusalem Building Freeze: Obama Tougher on Building Homes than Building Nuclear Bombs

Why are Obama’s words and actions against Israel tougher than his words and actions against Iran? While Iran is busy finishing up their nuclear arms program and will soon officially be a nuclear power, Obama appears more worried about real estate issues in Jerusalem than he does the coming danger of a nuclear Iran.

Obama announced he will push a four-month building freeze in Eastern Jerusalem in hopes of reviving peace talks. Obama is asking Israel to stop building homes for families, families that will benefit both Jews and Palestinians living in Israel. All the while the clock ticks, tick tock, tick tock, as Iran nears completion of their first nuclear weapon. This is just another example of the pathetic leadership of Barack Obama.

With reports Iran will be a nuclear state within a few short weeks, if they aren’t already, Obama announced sanctions against Iran. So basically, we can conclude his language is tougher against building homes than it is building bombs.

Obama Says He Wants to Drill Here Drill Now, But There is a Catch

Every day, it’s something new. It’s now apparent Obama won’t be happy until he upsets every group of Americans possible. Today it’s the environmental wackos, well at least that’s the illusion.

Obama says he wants to open off shore drilling. He hopes to open up drilling off the coast of Virginia, North coast of Alaska, and in the Gulf of Mexico where the Russians and Chinese are busy horizontally drilling into our supplies. While this all sounds good, the decision is up to Congress. For now it’s just rhetoric, and we will soon see how serious Obama is as he faces the environmental fringe groups that have hijacked the Democrats in Congress. It’s up to Congress to lift the moratorium on off-shore drilling by letting it expire. That’s the catch.

Obama Attends the Church of Text Messaging: No Time for Church, Just Use the Presidential Blackberry Cell Phone

Matt Lauer asked Obama about church since it is Easter week, or is that spring holiday in the Obama White House? Obama says he doesn't go to church because he causes a disruption, despite centuries of American presidents going to church.

However, rest easy. It turns out Obama's church is in his Blackberry smart phone. Obama gets an occasional scripture text messaged to him. Is that Koran scripture Mr. Obama, or is that from the King James?

You know, I know church isn't a requirement for a president, but why does Obama have to dumb down everything. It's been well reported Obama doesn't go to church, so why does he feel the need to give us a stupid answer? Well, it's like any Obama answer. He thinks we are stupid enough to believe him.

Another VAT Tax Truth: Fluctuating Rates of Taxation and the Final Nail in America's Coffin

The VAT tax will be the final nail in the coffin that destroys the American economy. The Democrats continue to throw the idea around, and I have no doubt it's coming to the United States as Glenn Beck cheers for it. Pay attention Beck.

When the VAT tax is sold to the American people, we will be told what a small sacrifice it is and that we must make it. Imagine everything you purchase raising in cost 25%, 30%, or even up to 50%. Imagine what that will do to the economy as 25% more of your wealth is taken from you and given to the oppressive federal government. Jobs will end, because people won't be able to buy as much what's left of their earnings after federal income taxes, FICA, and medicare taxes.

Oh, and it gets better. Many governments who have the VAT tax have the power to adjust as necessary for the needs of the state. They will tell you the value added tax will be only two percent to sell it, but once it's in place they will have the authority to raise it without the consent of the people whenever they want. The current VAT tax in the United Kingdom is about to hit 20%.

If Obama and the Democrats pass this tax, it's over. The jobs will be gone because people won't be able to support the jobs. The economy will sink because prices will rise higher and higher. There is nothing good about the VAT tax and the fact Glenn Beck believes its the solution to many of our problems is the reason why I don't pay attention to Mr. Beck. It will be the final nail in the coffin. Enjoy you FREE healthcare! Even the poor won't be able to escape this reality.

Pants on the Ground Now Part of Campaign Platform for New York State Senator

Pants on the ground, pants on the ground, lookin' like a fool with your pants on the ground!

It appears General Larry Platt's Pants on the Ground has made its way into a political campaign a New York State Senator who says stop the sag. “While it is natural for youth to push the limits of what is acceptable, parents in the home and leaders in the community must step up when something is harmful. This sagging pants culture represents an immature disregard for the basic civility, courtesy, and responsibility that our young men should display."

One Campaign Had the Sound Bites Ready for Steve Hunter's Filing: Are Billy Long's Hands Dirty with Political Maneuvering to Hide Ethics Problems?

I was reading David Catanese's piece on the Politico tonight about the addition of Steve Hunter, the Joplin Republican to the list of candidates looking to replace Roy Blunt. One quote caught my eye in Catanese's piece.

"He's a big time former state representative. This is devastating for Gary," said a GOP adviser tied to a rival campaign. (By the way Mr. Roe, I know what is more devastating for Mr. Long.)

If I were a betting man, I would guess this GOP adviser is tied to Billy Long's campaign. I think that's what Long hopes anyway, but what they don't realize or maybe they do, are the red flags that pop up concerning ethics in Jasper County regarding the meager Hunter political empire.

Like I said before, it wouldn't surprise me if this former Mel Hancock protege was asked to put his name on the ballot for two reasons--hurt Nodler in Joplin and give Billy Long some cover for the three ethics complaints filed against him. This feels like a Jeff Roe move, and I have a feeling Catanese spoke to Roe or someone close to Roe. Billy Long is a desperate man, and he knows once these ethic complaints are mainstream, he isn't going to be able to hide behind his simple campaign themes that he hoped to ride to office on.

The bottom line is, with all the political dirt attached to Steve Hunter through his wife Rita, is it really that devastating to Nodler, or is Billy Long just hopeful it will be?

University of Wyoming Cancels Obama Buddy and Terrorist Bill Ayers Speech after Hutaree Revives Memories of Weather Underground

This week has provided an interesting dichotomy in terrorism. According to Obama, some people who have a history of bombing cops are perfectly acceptable and are sometimes invited to the White House. While others who have never bombed cops are quickly arrested in a pre-crime manner while the mainstream media is allowed to attack Christianity once again. Such is the case with Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground and Hutaree.

It's nice the Billy Ayers surfaces with controversy this week to remind us once again that Obama is buddies with a terrorist, a terrorist who has appeared on the White House guest list multiple times since Obama moved in.

Yesterday, the University of Wyoming canceled an appearance on campus the Weather Underground terrorist friend of Obama's was to make on campus.

In the statement, the director of the center, UW Educational Studies chair Francisco Rios, apologized to the university community for any harm that may have come to it, and cited personal and professional reasons — including safety concerns — for the cancellation.

In reponse, UW President Tom Buchanan said, “I appreciate the consideration for the university that the re-evaluation demonstrated.”

Buchanan thanked Rios for taking the initiative and for his willingness to respect the interests of the UW community, including statewide constituencies.

“Re-evaluation of this event was unavoidable. I’m satisfied with the outcome,” he said. “Academic freedom is a core principle of any institution of higher education. But with that freedom comes an obligation to exercise free thought and free speech in concert with mutual respect and acknowledgement of broader resource and security impacts on the campus. The exercise of freedom requires a commensurate dose of responsibility.”

Buchanan dismissed the notion that UW caved in to public pressure to cancel Ayer’s visit, even though the university had received hundreds of calls and e-mails on Monday and Tuesday that were mostly against Ayers.

“Observers in and outside of the university would be incorrect to conclude that UW simply caved in to external pressure. Rather, I commended the director of the center for a willingness to be sensitive to the outpouring of criticism, evaluate the arguments, and reconsider the invitation.”

Yeah, right. The timing of the cancellation corresponds with Hutaree, which has once again raised Bill Ayers' Weather Underground out of the pages of history. When you combine this with the phone calls, you have the real answer why Ayers was canceled.

Christian County Prosecuting Attorney Ron Cleek Announces Press Conference to Discuss Rufus Church Murder

It's been just over a year since Rufus Church was murdered in the morning hours at Ozark Dodge, just a mile or so from my house. Since the murder took place, the Ozark, Missouri Police Department have looked like the Keystone Cops at play. There seems to be no progress in the murder investigation, and when the Christian County Headliner asked Police Chief Lyle Hodges about any progress in the investigation, he just laughs and says he isn't going to talk about that anymore. (Moral of the story, if you are going to murder someone do it in Ozark, Missouri, because even the police chief isn't serious about crime.)

The Christian County Prosecutor Ron Cleek announced today he will hold a press conference as to where the murder investigation stands. I wonder if the media will get a little laugh, with a I'm not going to talk about that anymore or if they will actually get useful information.

Cleek will point out what he has and what he don't has, but it sounds like he is wasting the media's time, since the Missouri Highway Patrol announced they have yet to find any useful leads. Perhaps, the murderer was an influential member of the community. Perhaps he had a terminal disease. Perhaps there was a triangle. And perhaps that's why Chief Hodges just laughs at all of this. Of course, how would I know. You just hear things, after all it is a small little town.

One Campaign is Quite Confident With the Addition of Steve Hunter to the Republican Field

Long.)

Obama and Sarkozy Announce Sanctions in Iran in Hopes of Stopping Nuclear Iran: Iran Laughs at Barry Obama in Return Gesture

Leave it to Obama to work with the French to get tough on Iran, knowing nuclear weapons are a possibility with each passing day. Obama and Nicolas Sarkozy announced they will declare sanctions on Iran if they continue developing nuclear weapons. I bet they are shaking in Iran with this threat. OOO, we're so scared Barry and Nicky!

"Do we have unanimity in the international community? Not yet," Obama said. "And that's something that we have to work on."

Obama said he and French President Nicolas Sarkozy are "inseparable" in their thinking on the subject.

For his part, Sarkozy told reporters, "Iran cannot continue its mad race" toward acquiring nuclear weapons.

"The time has come to take decisions," he said.

And the decision is, they are going to do nothing. They are just going to let it happen. Israel is now our only hope to stopping this madness, but then you must fear an Obama retaliation against Israel. Where is the common sense?

Oh, on a good note, Obama said the sanctions will be in place in weeks instead of months. They really are shaking in Iran tonight with Barry on the job.
"My hope is that we are going to get this done this spring. So I'm not interested in waiting months for a sanctions regime to be in place. I'm interested in seeing that regime in place in weeks," said Obama.

Dick Morris Explains the Unconstitutional Powers Given to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner: "It's Pure Socialism"

"It's pure socialism in the United States. It gives the Treasury Secretary the power - in his sole discretion with no judicial review and no objective standards - the right to seize any financial business he wants simply because he thinks it's too big to fail and that it's in danger of failing."

Dick Morris went onto say Geithner now has powers Fidel Castro doesn't even have.

Obama Explains Why He Doesn't Take the Family to Church: He Fears He Would be a Disruption

The narcissism continues from the dolt and chief living in the White House. It was asked why Obama doesn't go to church. He said, "What we've decided for now is not to join a single church, and the reason is because Michelle and I have realized we are very disruptive to services."

If Obama understood Christianity, he would understand God would not be inconvenienced by his presence at church, any church. I think the only disruption for Obama when it comes to church is his roots in Jeremiah Wright's church. The truth is he probably would be clueless how to worship in a loving church that didn't teach hate for America.

I doubt God buys into his excuse anyway. Besides, no other president has given such a lame excuse for not going to church. They have been doing so for centuries. Does Obama feel so self-important that he can't pardon the narcissism for two hours to attend a service? Geez! He says he's a Christian, but I don't believe these are the words of a devout Christian. A Christian knows your relationship with God is more important than your status on earth.

Does Democrat Scott Eckersley Smell Billy Long's Blood in the Water?

Today was an interesting day in the Missouri Seventh Congressional Race to replace Roy Blunt. Not only does it feel like Republican candidate Steve Hunter was planted in the race to take focus off Billy Long's Federal Election Commission ethics problems due to his own set of ethics issues that plague him and his wife, it also feels like the new Democrat in the race smells Billy Long's blood in the water.

Scott Eckersley filed today to face Branson Democrat Tim Davis in the Democratic primary on August 3. Up until today Davis thought he was a sure bet for the ballot in the fall. It could very well be Eckersley, who has proven to be a political shark smells blood in the water.

If you remember right, Eckersley haunted the Matt Blunt Administration for their e-mail retention policy, and appears to be a political opportunist. With Republican Billy Long facing his own ethics problems, Eckersley may see opportunity to turn a red seat blue through his own self-righteous ethics policing campaign guaranteed to make Long's life miserable if he survives the Republican primary.

So if Jeff Roe and the Billy Long campaign planted Steve Hunter in the race to take focus away from Billy's own problems, they aren't going to go away for long now that Ekersley is in the race. Billy Long should just come clean before it does the Republican party harm. Of course, the truth about Eckersley is he is an empowered puppet of Democrats like Jay Nixon.

Steve Hunter's Entry in MO-7 Race Has a Jeff Roe / Billy Long Feeling to It: Beat Corruption Accusation by Putting Someone More Corrupt in the Race

Today's late entry into the Missouri Seventh Congressional District Race feels artificial, perhaps planned. Steve Hunter, from Joplin, declaring his candidacy on the final day feels like it might have Jeff Roe's fingerprints all over it.

Billy Long now faces three ethics complaints. How does one take the focus off their candidate who faces a potential battle with the Federal Election Commission? You convince another candidate without a chance to run for the same office, a candidate with both local and federal corruption issues himself to take the focus of Long's own problems. This could very well be the plan with the late addition of Steve Hunter, the latest Republican running for Missouri 7.

Steve Hunter has a long history in Missouri politics, and worked closely with a Mr. Mel Hancock in the beginnings of his political career. You know the same Mel Hancock that endorsed Mr. Long. Very interesting stuff.

Obviously, Hunter's wife has her own ethics issues in Jasper County, so he enters the race already wounded before conducting battle. He's the perfect candidate to draw attention away from Billy Long's own ethics problems while possibly weakening Gary Nodler in the Joplin area. Obviously, Long knows he has to split the vote in the western side of the state to have a chance of beating Nodler. So in with Hunter in the race, it seems logical it serves Long in to different ways. Let's look at Hunter's own problems.

Last year, Hunter's wife received the interest of the feds. She was under investigation according to the Joplin Globe, which noted: State officials also would not discuss what elements of of the office were investigation, though Mays did say the unit investigates “everything from welfare fraud, to abuse involving MoHealthNet and fraud and abuse in general, and provides legal support to all our programs.”

According to Lisa Olliges, some Jasper County files mysteriously went missing during Hunter's role as public administrator. The new Jasper County public administrator claims she's missing information on wards of the court. Angie Casavecchia claims she is lacking records to adequately care for her clients.

The former administrator, Rita Hunter, says she turned over the office like it was given to her.
But Casavecchia claims that could be endangering her clients. Casavecchia says all ten cabinets that used to contain records of those who are wards of the public administrator are completely empty.

Any information once stored on computer is also gone.

Rita was also sued in 2007 by a 95 year old woman. According to the Turner Report, A 95-year-old Carthage woman has filed a $3 million plus lawsuit against Jasper County Public Administrator Rita Hunter and attorney John Podleski and his law firm, Crandall & Podleski. In the three-count lawsuit filed today in U. S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, Emma France alleges Mrs. Hunter, the wife of Rep. Steve Hunter, R-Joplin, took advantage of a bout of depression Mrs. France suffered after she was "the victim of several telephone scams which caused her to lose some of her monies."

She also faced a class action lawsuit for her removal from office for charging her clients an excessive amount above her annual. Myers said that the fees set by the public administrator’s office have increased about 400 percent.

Myers also contends that state law allows public administrators to be paid either a salary or by fees, but not both.

“Once you decide, you can’t change,” said Myers. “Mrs. Hunter receives a salary and charges fees.”

And the list goes on and on when you do a Google Search for Rita Hunter in Jasper County. Oh yes, doesn't this now feel like the work of Jeff Roe rushing in to save the day for Billy Long by encouraging a far uglier story for the media to work on? But will it draw attention away from Long when the FEC shows up to investigate the evidence they were sent this week?

Political Chess in Missouri's Seventh Congressional District Race: Steve Hunter Files on Last Day

Steve Hunter, a Joplin Republican is the last man to enter the crowded Republican primary for Congress in the Seventh District. Hunter made the deadline today mixing up things in the race to say the least. He is the ninth Republican on the ballot and is also running for to keep his job in the 127th state district.

So what is the strategy? Hunter knows the last man on the ballot is worth three points minimum, or is there another strategy in this race. Could he have entered to take votes away from Gary Nodler in Joplin (Jasper/Newton) to help another candidate in the race? It does set up some possibilities. So is he a serious candidate or not?

One thing is for sure, with only one Lincoln Day event left and scheduled for Christian County, he's got a lot of catching up to do.

Sixth Amendment Works Against Greene County Prosecutor Darrell Moore's Star Witness in David A. William's Arson Case

All Greene County Prosecutor Darrell Moore has is a dog who hinted there may be accelerants on David A. William’s clothes as well as in the living room. Williams was arrested for arson in the March 15, 2010 fire on Olive Street in Springfield, Missouri. It was revealed yesterday, conclusive forensic lab tests showed no traces of accelerant on the clothes of Williams or in the living room.

The Sixth Amendment states: In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district where in the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

What’s Darell Moore’s star witness going to do, bark itself to a guilty verdict for Moore. I don’t think so, at least not according to the Sixth Amendment. William’s clothes as well as the dog’s sniffed out traces of accelerant in the living room were the keys to the case to indict Williams for the crime, but it looks like the little evidence the Springfield Police and Fire Department collected was just thrown out the window and void of what Moore and his assistant prosecutor needed to convict Williams.

According to the National Fire Protection Association Handbook on Fire Investigation, "In order for the presence or absence of an ignitable liquid to be scientifically confirmed in a sample, that sample should be analyzed by a laboratory. . . Any canine alert not confirmed by laboratory analysis should not be considered validated."

"Canine ignitable liquid detection should be used in conjunction with, and not in place of, the other fire investigation and analysis methods described in this guide."

I like many people in Southwest Missouri I have spoken to don’t believe Williams committed arson. There was no motive, and it always seemed the police were quick to arrest based on contradictory reports of an explosion, which led law enforcement officials to quickly call in the feds at the ATF to conduct the investigation. At this point, it seems to me the local law enforcement community didn’t want to be embarrassed by their poor investigation, as well, anytime children die, it seems society is quick to point fingers without examining all the evidence.

The bottom line here is the dog can’t testify against Williams. There are too many variables with the dog to prove 100% accuracy. Williams is only guilty if there isn’t an reasonable doubt, and every day, it seems like there are more reasonable doubts.

At this time, the Greene County prosecutor should release Williams based on the lack of evidence. It’s clear they were counting on the evidence to return a positive result in the laboratory. The whole Greene County legal system should be ashamed of themselves and their rush to judgment that may have been the motive for not allowing Williams to attend the funerals of these three children, who I have no reason to believe Williams didn’t treat as his own based on what I have heard. It’s starting to appear clear they prevented an innocent man from respectfully mourning and saying good bye to three children this man cared for.

Congress Fails to Kill Toyota's Popularity in the United States: New Fox Poll Shows Parents Trust Toyota

Government motors tried to kill Toyota. All they really did was convince me and other Americans to dump General Motors for good and let Congress suffer the embarrassment of promoting socialism in this country through creating a consumer friendly environment for GM.

The recent war against Toyota conducted in the Nation’s Capital did little to curve enthusiasm for Toyota. According to a Fox News poll, 73% of parents polled say they trust Toyota enough to put their children in their cars. Only 26% said they wouldn’t.

Fox also asked if they trust government regulators more than they trust Toyota engineers for safety. Here’s the breakdown:

Women (51 percent), Democrats (55 percent), liberals (58 percent) and young people age 30 and under (53 percent) are among those groups most likely to say they put more trust in government regulators. Those most likely to put more faith in Toyota engineers include men (45 percent), college graduates (46 percent), Republicans (47 percent) and Toyota owners (47 percent).

I’m with Phil From Wisconsin on this one. I don’t trust the government with anything. My vote of confidence goes to Toyota.

Illegal Alien Now Suspected in Death of Arizona Rancher Who Fought Illegal Immigration on His Own Private Property

Cochise County Sheriffs now believe it was an illegal alien crossing into the United States who is responsible for an Arizona rancher. Robert Krentz, who had been the victim of robbery and vandalism associated with illegal immigration, would always offer water or medical assistance for injured illegal aliens. Now it appears his good deeds hit a reality check since the county sheriff is now looking for an illegal alien who shot Krentz while he was on an ATV looking over his property.

Law officials believe the scenario now revolves around drugs crossing the border, and it was noted Krentz’s brother pulled over illegal aliens smuggling marijuana into the United States and confiscated 280 pounds of pot.

There is clearly a real drug war developing on the southern border of the United States. Obama’s solution is to give these people legal amnesty into the United States. It’s a naïve policy that will do little to stop the damage that is occurring in our country.

Climategate II: NASA Now Directly in the Middle of the Global Warming Fraud Controversy With Admission of Inferior Science

NASA has come out and admitted their global temperature records are a mess. The agency has become Obama’s left-arm to push the global warming agenda, and now, by their own admission, their record keeping is worse than Hadley CRU.

The Freedom of Information Act forced NASA to hand over e-mails. During a conclusive investigation of the e-mails, the investigators found that NASA admitted their own climate research was inferior to the Hadley CRU, the source of the original Climategate controversy late last year.

From Fox News:

The e-mails from 2007 reveal that when a USA Today reporter asked if NASA's data "was more accurate" than other climate-change data sets, NASA's Dr. Reto A. Ruedy replied with an unequivocal no. He said "the National Climatic Data Center's procedure of only using the best stations is more accurate," admitting that some of his own procedures led to less accurate readings.

"My recommendation to you is to continue using NCDC's data for the U.S. means and [East Anglia] data for the global means," Ruedy told the reporter.

"NASA's temperature data is worse than the Climate-gate temperature data. According to NASA," wrote Christopher Horner, a senior fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute who uncovered the e-mails. Horner is skeptical of NCDC's data as well, stating plainly: "Three out of the four temperature data sets stink."

Global warming critics call this a crucial blow to advocates' arguments that minor flaws in the "Climate-gate" data are unimportant, since all the major data sets arrive at the same conclusion -- that the Earth is getting warmer. But there's a good reason for that, the skeptics say: They all use the same data.

"There is far too much overlap among the surface temperature data sets to assert with a straight face that they independently verify each other's results," says James M. Taylor, senior fellow of environment policy at The Heartland Institute.

"The different groups have cooperated in a very friendly way to try to understand different conclusions when they arise," said Dr. James Hansen, head of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, in the same 2007 e-mail thread. Earlier this month, in an updated analysis of the surface temperature data, GISS restated that the separate analyses by the different agencies "are not independent, as they must use much of the same input observations."
