Why do I owe taxes and Obama
Even as recently as the State of the Union, Obama was bragging about his tax cuts in the stimulus bill. The truth is Obama never made cuts to taxes and the tax tables. Obama's stimulus plan only cut the withholding rates, which means you took home more of your check. Since the tax rates were never cut, people, including me, are realizing they owe the IRS money. Obama faked a tax cut and the anger is coming.

Did Miss Alaska Score Points with Rush Limbaugh Over the Jab at Sarah Palin
Video: Rush Limbaugh Judging and Asking Questions at the Miss America Contest
Here's lovable Rush Limbaugh at the Miss America contest last night, asking contestants questions. Something tells me they studied many hours to avoid the following:
The UN Got Their Climate Data from a College Student Studying Geography
We are finding out since the scientists at Hadley CRU were throwing out temperatures that showed the earth was cooling and replacing them with calculated fixed temperatures that continued to show the earth was heating, more and more of the ethics of the scientists behind global warming are coming under question.
The job of the IPCC is to provide authoritative assessment of scientific evidence of climate change. I don't believe a student's paper counts.
They were caught using a dissertation from a geography student studying for a master's degree that used hearsay from mountain guides in the Alps--not climatologist. It was discovered that paper they were using pulled quotes from a popular climbing magazine in Europe. Remember the IPCC's job is to provide an authoritative assessment on scientific evidence. Hearsay from mountain climbers isn't exactly scientific evidence.

Making Work Pay: Why the Fake Obama Tax Cuts Cost Me More Money

If you're not eligible for the Making Work Pay tax credit, withholding changes could mean a smaller refund next spring. A limited number of people, including those who usually receive very small refunds, could in some situations owe a small amount rather than receiving a refund. Those who should pay particular attention to their withholding include:
- Pensioners (see more information under Pensioners, below)
- Married couples with two incomes
- Individuals with multiple jobs
- Dependents
- Some Social Security recipients who work
- Workers without valid Social Security numbers
Well isn't that nice... workers without valid Social Security numbers! Isn't that federal fraud? Of course the IRS is so corrupt, it will take taxes from someone committing fraud, which they clearly point out on their Web site, which this information came from. However, try committing fraud againt the IRS by lying on your 1040 and see what happens to you. I guarantee you, your life will soon become hell with the IRS's gun pointed between your eyes.
Obama is still out there telling people how he cut their taxes to give them more take home pay and bigger refunds. That was one of the first themes of his State of the Union address. Obama is making work pay alright, and before he is done, more of the hours we spend at our jobs will be robbed from us as Obama makes work pay even more.

Obama’s Clever Use of Vocabulary: Stimulus II is Coming Fast
Throw out the world stimulus, especially since three out of four Americans now look at stimulus spending as a waste of money. The principles of stimulus are still alive and well. In fact, without ever saying stimulus, Obama demanded a second stimulus during his State of the Union address. Did you catch it when he said it?
He told Congress he wanted a jobs bill on his desk. A jobs bill is stimulus II—have no doubts about it. What was stimulus I supposed to do? It was supposed to create jobs, but did it? Not really. More Americans lost their jobs, the economy was propped up on a sugar high through government spending, and unemployment rose above 10%. So trying to fool the American people, knowing that three out of four Americans see Obama’s first stimulus bill as a waste of money, Obama asked for stimulus II under a different moniker. He wants a job bill on his desk, and Americans think, yeah, that’s what we’re talking about.
It’s amazing how many are fooled simply by changing a name. Stimulus to jobs bill is still a stimulus bill. Why should we allow the American government to keep spending for jobs, when $787 billion was wasted on various special interests spending, like global warming research with no record of creating good jobs for Americans? Why should Americans cheer for Obama suggesting a jobs bill when hundreds of millions of dollars was spent from the first stimulus bill in zip codes that don’t exist.
Obama can change the names of policies, but if you look at what he is suggesting, it’s no different than where we were last year. We need to call him on it rather than let our representatives trick their constituents they are doing something different. Stimulus II is coming, it’s coming in the form of a jobs bill, which is what stimulus I was as well. If Obama wants to create real jobs, he would lower corporate taxes. The United States has the second highest corporate tax rate in the world. He would throw out cap and trade, which is a job killer, and he would let the private sector create jobs rather than create the illusion he is personally responsible for creating jobs with these stimulus bills, which place our country into more debt.
Obama and Amtrak: Billions of Dollars and Visions Auschwitz
Obama’s dreams of a high speed railroad similar to what Japan uses, just not as fast. I don’t know if you have noticed, but Japan is a small island and we have manifest destiny to pass. It seems impractical to spend time looking out a trains window when an airplane can get you there in a fraction of time.
I know Democrats were celebrating billions coming to Missouri this week for high speed rail. St. Louis to Chicago on high speed rail at just over 100 miles an hour! Just one problem the trains currently run near 70 miles per hour. After driving up I-55 so many times, it’s not hard to meet the Amtrak from St. Louis. So we are spending billions to get people there a few minutes faster. The reality of it is passengers may save 45 minutes.
When you look at the choices we have in the United States, throwing out the bus option, St. Louis to Chicago is just under 300 miles. You can drive it in under five hours, take the current train and maybe save a few minutes, or jump in an airplane and be in Chicago in just under an hour. What is Obama’s real reasoning for a high speed rail?
Of course, it will be a money pit like Amtrak has proven to be for many years. For the costs it provides very little benefits with two exceptions, it’s more artificial and immediate stimulus and it might create some temporary jobs. Hardly worth the cost of the billions more the United States will borrow and pay back with interest.
Could there be something more sinister involved in the thinking. Government is using the environment to promote their nationalized railroad. We already know Obama is pushing cap and trade, and it’s been proven it will drive up energy costs across the country. Of course, this will hurt airlines who suffered high fuel costs in 2008, leading to this silly notion they must charge for bags in order cover fuel costs. When you combine more government hassles in the airport with full-body scanners that capture naked images of your body, more Americans will be left with less travel options. Higher energy costs will rob Americans of more freedom to move.
If the government provides an option like train service, which will be seen as affordable with the money you save in your fare, hidden in subsidies you will pay in taxes. It comes down to this, the government will have more control of the movement of people in the United States.
Oh, and then there is Auschwitz, notice that strategic areas the trains are placed. The government could just as easily move people they consider political threats, you know the right-wing domestic radicals they defined in the Modern Militia Movement Report and the Department of Homeland Security reports that were published last year into camps.
Oh, like that will happen in the United States! It’s really sad some people would even state that, but considering how little Americans know about American history, it has happened in the past. Both Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Roosevelt locked up people without due process in fear they were political enemies that would undermine their war efforts.

The Himalayan Glaciers Lie Knowingly Carried into the Copenhagen Climate Summit
Evidence? First there were the Hadley CRU e-mails that revealed climate scientists were throwing out cooler real temperature data and fixing the temps with warmer temps through a specific calculation. Few weeks later, we find out the data over Himalayan glaciers was rigged at well. Now we find out UN Climate Chief was in on the fix over the scientific lies of the glaciers.
UN Climate Chief Rajendra Pachauri was told the data stating Himalayan glaciers would be totally gone by 2035 was prevent wrong before the Copenhagen summit. However, the incorrect data was knowingly used by Pachuarui and the climate crooks at the UN who were using global warming to create a global government, a new world order.
Media pressure forced Pachuri to admit the error in the data. “I became aware of this when it was reported in the media about ten days ago. Before that, it was really not made known. Nobody brought it to my attention. There were statements, but we never looked at this 2035 number.” Pachuri said he was unaware of the fallacies in the data prior to the Copenhagen summit.
His claim is a lie. A prominent scientific journalist asked him about the fallacy in November 2009. Pachuri addressed the question.
The truth is the ice is so think in the upper Himalayas that it would take several hundred years for it to completely melt, not 25 years.
The science of global warming is void of logic and ethics and is based on emotions in order to raise research money, which the stimulus provided to scientists, all to give the government more control of our lives by regulating the air, taxing the air, and gaining control of our energy usage. The greatest evil conducted by man in my lifetime has been the promotion of global warming in the dishonest arguments all designed to rob people of their freedoms. Next up, the acidity of the oceans once they lose global warming once and for all.
New Tone in Washington Means New Tone for College Football
Obama wants to challenge the legality of the BCS. I really wish I was kidding on this one--SPORTS BEFORE JOBS.
The Obama Justice Department sent a letter to Republican Senator Orrin Hatch addressing the issue. Which Congress has no authority to regulate college football either, with the exception they are claiming it's interstate commerce. Please, do they really think the founding fathers would have spent their time on such trivial matters? The Obama administration wants to know if the BCS violates antitrust laws with the current rating system.
Assistant Attorney General Ronald Weich writes: Importantly, and in addition, the administration also is exploring other options that might be available to address concerns with the college football postseason," hoping the Federal Trade Commission will review the BCS under consumer protection laws. I wonder how many more millions of dollars this investigation will cost as Obama says spending freezes are coming.
"The administration shares your belief that the current lack of a college football national championship playoff with respect to the highest division of college football ... raises important questions affecting millions of fans, colleges and universities, players and other interested parties."
I don't know why Obama feels he has the power to regulate college football. Someone please put their finger on a section in Article II of the Constitution and show me where Obama was given this power. Obama please come to this Web site and personally point out where Article II gives you the power to regulate college football.
Of course, maybe if Obama puts focus on college football for a few months his radical agenda may slow down, so there could be a plus to all of this. This clearly shows Obama doesn't know the limits of his office.

Scary: Madonna Before and After Photoshop

Cap and Trade Energy Prices May Happen Without a Senate Vote
KLBJ radio in Austin, Texas, has exposed that power companies are already investing in cap and trade level technologies to prepare for the coming tax on the air. With the Senate bill stalled in the Senate with talk it may not get through the Senate, some power companies are moving forward with plans to meet the cap and trade requirements.
Austin Energy presented to the Austin City Council a plan for approval. The plan titled “Austin Energy’s Carbon Reduction Plan” goes even further to lower carbon emissions that the guidelines set by the government. Their goal is 20% by 2025, and includes a $2.6 billion investment by Austin Energy, which Austin Energy expect to be higher.
With Hadley CRU scientists facing possible trials for fraud and not following the Freedom of Information Act, with documents showing they fixed global temperature data upwards, and the Senate in disagreement with the cap and trade bill, in which Obama was laughed at in the State of the Union, why would Austin Energy be eager to spend $2.6 billion?
Because like any other regulation, it drives up costs to consumers because there are more hands setting the prices. It’s easier for Austin Energy to raise their costs. Even if the cap and trade bill doesn’t pass, companies like Austin Energy can use their green rhetoric to permanently drive up the costs of their energy prices. Many Americans are going to be forced to pay higher energy costs regardless of cap and trades future, because the electric companies have already bought into the rhetoric knowing green is a money maker. Don’t believe me, look at commercials. By this we are green. It’s meaningless pathos, but it’s pathos that could make the utility companies very rich. Roger Duncan of Austin Energy told the Austin City Council energy prices probably would rise.
Austin Energy is working with the city of Austin to promote cap and trade like inspections. The Austin Energy plan includes the Energy Conservation Audit and Disclosure Ordinance. This would allow environmentalist in Austin to inspect homes that are ten years older or more into homes within the city limit and provide an energy rating for each home. Not only that but the local law would extend into all non-industrial commercial buildings with 5,000 square feet or more and multifamily properties with five or more units, aged 10 years or older.
You see, liberals have figured out they can use the Tenth Amendment to condition people to eventually accepting the federal cap and trade tax scheme. You start allowing it on local levels, and it doesn’t seem so intrusive once the federal government starts enforcing it. You are already conditioned. There are many preparing to get rich from the cap and trade scam, and it’s going to happen even if cap and trade doesn’t immediately pass.
Rielle Hunter Wants Her Sex Tape With John Edwards Back
Rielle Hunter wants the sex tape she made with John Edwards back. She claims the tape is "very private and personal." Hunter was in court earlier seeking a restraining order demanding personal pictures and the video be returned by Edwards former aid Andrew Young, who is looking to profit from the Edwards scandal with a new book.
Here’s the reality of it. Even if he does give it back, there is no sure way to prove Young didn’t duplicate the sex tap and other possible incriminating images of Edwards and Hunter. The real question is, why, if this tape is so “very private and personal” was it ever placed out of the control of Hunter and Edwards. The carelessness of this entire affair considering Edwards was running for president at the time amazes me.
"In or about September 2006, using my video camera, I authored a personal video recording that depicted matters of a very private and personal nature," Hunter wrote in an affidavit filed Thursday. "In 2006, I was also having an intimate relationship with Edwards."
Hunter says the tapes were left in a box of trash at her old apartment when she moved. How stupid is that! Why wouldn’t she pull the tape from the cassette, cut the tape up, and destroy the tapes plastic housing. Do you think maybe Hunter was keeping the cassette for blackmail purposes? Something tells me you have a motive about why this cassette wasn’t destroyed, like she claims it was supposed to be.
Everyone knows, you don’t leave personal items in trashcans these days. I dated a woman whose sister-in-law works for the IRS. The government pays the woman to go through peoples trash looking for evidence of income that’s not being reported. Did you know the IRS does things like that? They do.
Like I said, I bet there was a blackmail element behind keeping the tape and not ensuring it was destroyed. Given time, you know it’s going to wind up in the Internet.
Obama Defines New Tone in Baltimore with More Partisan Rhetoric: Obama Plays the Victim Card
When it comes to Obama’s new tone in Washington, it’s Obama’s way or the highway. Less than 48 hours after Obama promised a new tone in Washington, he’s scolding Republicans for not supporting his policies. Clearly the new tone is not about compromise between Democrats and Republicans. The new tone is more tyrannical in nature.
Obama pointed out he got no support taxes, health care and economic stimulus with a hint of anger. It’s clear to me Obama doesn’t want only the Democrat’s fingerprints on bills that are failing both in improving things and within the public opinion.
Then Obama cried about sharp criticism of his leadership by Republican. Mr. Obama, you asked for the job and all that came with it, and now you cry. Surely you must have gotten a sense of how much heat the president deals with after helping ridicule George W. Bush while you were in the Senate. We truly have a man-boy leading this country. You can’t joke about his ears. You can’t criticize him. The only acceptable behavior is to bow down to him.
Obama griped, “you'd think that this thing was some Bolshevik plot." Mr. Obama, when you are nationalizing the banks, the car industry, the student loan industry, and healthcare, how else are we supposed to judge your actions. This is a country based on free markets—not markets that are constantly interfered with by your meddlings inspired by Saul Alinsky and other socialists.
Obama is playing the classic card known is victimization. All his failures are based upon everyone but himself, and he isn’t even man enough to face the sharp criticisms his job includes. I hope to God the Republicans didn’t sit there like lost puppy dogs today promising we will do better to bow down to your feet Dear Leader Obama. If they give in to this new tone, a tone that is all about Obama, this country is doomed.
When is Obama going to start acting like a leader? Establishing a new tone doesn't include bringing up the past and scolding your enemies over.
Live Blogging: Kurt Warner Retirement Press Conference

The NFL is losing one good man today. Kurt touched so many on and off the field. I probably should wait to write that until he announces, but the writing is on the wall. He took too many hits this past year.
The press conference is about to begin in Tempe. The are announcing he will announce his retirement.
The question asked before it gets started, is he a first round Hall of Famer. They say yes. I do too. What do you think?
Kurt comes to the stage.
Kurt Warner didn't play many years, but his accomplishments are remarkable. Kurt Warner by the Numbers.
Kurt says he is retiring, he is excited about the next phase of his life.
Kurt says thanks to the people who made it happen. He is one of those guys that it was never all about him. God and Jesus are the first he thanks. He knows they brought him for a reason. That's one thing I will never forget about Kurt Warner. He knew God gave him a road, and he made every opportunity on that road to impact the lives of many. God bless you Kurt Warner!
Warner brings his Bible to every game, saying it inspires him. It's stories of average ordinary people that God put them in the position to do great things.
Warner thanks his family--wife Brend, and his seven kids. They are his lifeline. He introduces Zachary, Jessie, Cade, Jadah Joe, Elijah, Sienna and Sierra. Kurt has a beautiful family. He says they have made sacrifices and supported him. He says they have also laughed at him during bad games, which have helped him.
We need more Kurt Warners as role models.
Warner thanks the Rams, Giants, and the Cardinal organizations. Without them, Kurt says, there would be no Kurt Warner. He said these teams took a chance on him.
He thanks his coaches in each of the ogranizations. Then he thanks his teammates, a few of them gathered to send Kurt Warner off. When you read the things his teammates say about Warner, you know he is the real deal. Warner knows his success is due to his teammates.
He says he will miss the Sunday afternoon games, but the time in the locker room and builing a team is what he will miss most.
He thanks all the people that supported him, including the media. He says the media has respected him and treated him fairly.
The one thing Kurt Warner wants to leave people with, is that anything is possible. His story is a story that shows it took him a lot of time to get there, and he struggled with moments he wanted to give up. He followed his dream, and he hopes that's the message he leaves behind as he retires. He knows God wanted to use him in a special way, and he hopes people will remember that believed he worked hard and pressed through with his faith in himself and God.
He will know take questions. Thanks for the Sunday afternoon memories Kurt! You have been an inspiration on and off the field.
Kurt says he knows this day has been coming over the past year, but it became clear half way through the season. He says the hit in St. Louis did have an impact to this decision. He wants to walk away from the game healthy. Of course he is doing it on top, just a year from his Super Bowl appearance.
Kurt says he is off to be a full dad, and will watch his kids on the football field. He will also work on his ministry and his charity. He also enjoys writing, and will focus on writing. He also wants to make football a part of his retired life. He doesn't know what that means. He is hinting at television or radio broadcasting, but he doesn't want that to take away from his family time.
Kurt is asked what does it mean to leave the game at a high level of play. He says he is leaving on his terms and doesn't think he could handle playing at a lesser game. His agent hates that he is leaving the game at a high level.
Warner says he doesn't think about playing another game. He isn't asking what if he came back next year. He seems happy with his decision. He says it's easy to walk away, and it's been a great chapter in his life. He doesn't worry about looking back and wishing he played longer.
Kurt said many people tried to talk him out of retirement, including key Cardinal players.
Kurt answers a question about the Hall of Fame. He says these last three years have given him the opportunity to show that he can still play the game and prove to people who wrote him off that he wasn't done. He says it would make a nice bookend to his career. Warner says he is most proud is helping to bring the Cardinals and the Rams to Super Bowl level teams. He didn't comment if h expects to be placed in Canton.
He says he always wanted to leave an organization that feels indebted to what he brought to the table.
He says he wouldn't change a thing about his career.
He says his Super Bowl loss against the Patriots drove him to greater heights.
He was asked about the on the field void his departure creates. He says that's the hardest part of the decision knowing the coaching staff and players count on him.
Warner says he will continue to call Phoenix home. He says if God has other plans for him, then the day might come that he and his family might leave. For now they are planning to stay in Phoenix.
Warner credits Coach Whisenhunt for the turning point in Phoenix. He says Coach Whis gave him the opportunity that many coaches wouldn't. I always the Mike Martz sold Kurt Warner short. Remember Martz once said Marc Bulger was the best quarterback he ever worked with. Martz obviously was wrong.
Press Conference is over, and so a great NFL career is now complete. Thanks Kurt Warner once again for continuing to prove you are the best!
It's National Lady Gaga Day: Let's Celebrate Pseudo Pop Culture

How in just over a weeks time we go from celebrating Martin Luther King Day to National Lady Gaga Day? It really shows what a lack of depth there is in American thinking in the new millennium. Lady Gaga, with little talent and showing lots of skin, will be someone most of these kids won’t even admitting to listening to within five or six years but they felt she is important enough today, with few real accomplishments in the music word, to set aside a day to celebrate whatever it is she has done.
Her fans think they should celebrate because 2009 was a successful year for Lady Gaga. Was it for Lady Gaga, or was it successful for the record companies who know there is quick money to be made from women who can strip down to their underwear, strut upon the stage, and lip sync to a computerized beat? After all, that’s what pop music has turned into these days.
Lady Gaga day proves once again what’s wrong with America. The attention spans of average Americans have become so short that six months in the music business is considered worthy enough for legend. Any more than that and fans are willing to give you a day. This superficial thinking that is void of hard work just baffles me. Gone are the stories of sweating in smelly clubs as rowdy patrons spill beer on you. Now, it’s find a sexy body of a girl willing to generate controversy with that body, write some cheesy songs, and send them off on stage pushing the idea they have a little bit of talent.
We were warned of this in the Beatles A Hard Days Night. There is a great scene in which George Harrison calls it for what it is. It’s ‘dead grotty.’
That’s how I feel about Lady Gaga. She is the product of corporate suits, pushing sex upon the kids in the form of music. It’s grotty, very grotty. Lady Gaga is a drag, a well known drag. I turn the sound down on her and change the channel. Lady Gaga Day is made possible by an entitlement mentality which chooses to reward little achievement and far less. It really is a sign of the times.
The fact we are celebrating the create of corporate suits, the exploits women in order to sell inferior music by setting aside a day for Lady Gaga tells me we have some serious issues in this country. I expect a Hitler video to surface any time now.
Less than 24 Hours After Claire McCaskill Votes to Raise the Debt Ceiling, She Pushes Spending Reform
Claire McCaskill is one of 60 Democrats who voted to increase the national debt ceiling by $1.9 trillion dollars yesterday. The bill Claire approved of puts America on track for a $14.3 trillion national debt. Within hours of voting for putting the country further into debt, Claire McCaskill sends out the following e-mail to her supporters:
Dear Friend,
It's going to take full, comprehensive budget reform to break the cycle of debt and put us back on track. I am committed to making that reform a reality. (!)
But the first piece of the puzzle is holding down government spending where we can. (!!)That's why Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama) and I are offering an amendment that would cap increases in discretionary spending through 2014 and encourage the President to renew the caps when they expire.
Read about the amendment, and let me know what you think.
Discretionary spending only makes up about a third of the federal budget, so this amendment alone won’t solve our huge fiscal problems.
Much more will need to be done. I introduced legislation that would reinstitute a Pay-As-You-Go law (!!!)that would force across-the-board spending cuts if Congress passed any legislation that increased spending or cut taxes without offsetting the cost. I also support efforts to create a Fiscal Task Force, which would propose legislation to close the long term budget gap and submit it to Congress for a vote.
The reason this is so important is our back is against a wall – unless the debt limit is raised our country will default on our debt, our nation’s credit will be ruined, inviting a new global economic crisis. (!!!!)
People who say we should let our nation default are being irresponsible, but we can’t keep kicking the can down the road – that's why I’m introducing this amendment.
Please share your thoughts here after reading about the spending caps:
http://tinyurl.com/spendingcaps
All the best,
Claire
Are you kidding me? How can you be so dishonest Senator McCaskill? You write your working to break the cycle of debt within hours of your vote to increase the debt. Folks, you don’t get any more stupid as a Senator than this. It’s like McCaskill didn’t think we would notice. She has some nerve sending this e-mail within hours of her vote to indebt every man woman and child in this country by $45,000---and this doesn’t include the debt that’s not accounted for in social programs like Social Security. Why did it take Claire McCaskill this long to attack outrageous spending. She sure wasn't complaining about $787 billion in stimulus spending that offered no real solutions to create jobs. Only when her back is to the wall and she faces criticism does she finally decide to do something.

General Motors Commercials Paid for By Tax Payers Encourage Job Losses at Southern US Plants
General Motors produces cars that many people no longer want to buy. The GM corporation, now partly owned by the United States government is a slave to the United Auto Workers Union, which has burdened the company with huge union contracts and benefits. While General Motors takes taxpayers money, they plan to remove jobs out of the United States to China, Mexico, and South Korea—all with money given to GM by the United States taxpayers. They are a shameful corporation.
Currently, all the Howie Long commercials as well as the rest of General Motors’s commercials are backed by the United States government. That means if General Motors defaults on the commercial to the local television and the network, your tax dollars go to pay General Motor’s advertising debt. So isn’t it shameful that General Motors is the first to attack Toyota for a problem with the gas pedal?
The automobile manufacturing world is complicated these days. American companies like General Motors, while taking taxpayer dollars, look to further invest in foreign countries. Companies like Toyota and Honda invested money in American jobs by creating profitable plants in the south. I don’t approve of General Motors attack on Toyota with taxpayer dollars, whether it be through government financed and back commercials or incentives made possible with taxpayer dollars to encourage people to part with Toyota for lesser quality General Motors cars. Toyota provides American jobs. We should work on protecting the brand to ensure these jobs are secure.
Obama's $5000 Hire a New Employee Tax Credit: Doesn't Solve the High Coporate Tax Rates that Restrict Employers
At a machinery company in Baltimore, Obama continues handing out money despite a spending freeze. Today, he announced his plans for Stimulus II. While that’s the unofficial title, it’s easy to claim Obama’s plans as a new stimulus based on the speech.
Obama wants to offer every employer a $5000 tax credit for each new employee they hire this year. So with the economy artificially propped up with stimulus money, he is going to artificially prop up employment numbers as well providing money the government doesn’t have to employees whose businesses are still struggling. Since we know the economy was propped up artificially, what are these employers going to do when they agree to give Obama a hand and the private sector of the economy doesn’t start getting better? This looks like a recipe for disaster.
Obama needs to offer these companies real incentives to keep jobs in the United States. Obama needs to start by cutting the corporate tax rate, which is the second highest corporate tax rate in the world. Until he does that, any form of stimulus he produces is dead on arrival.

He also became the third quarterback in NFL history to win a conference championship with two different teams, following Craig Morton and Earl Morrall.
How could anyone claim Kurt Warner didn’t produce a Hall of Fame career?
Kurt Warner Set to Retire
One of the best quarterbacks I have watched in the NFL may be set to retire this afternoon. With great sadness for me, Kurt Warner may have donned the number 13 for the Arizona Cardinals for the final time in a playoff game in which the dirty New Orleans Saints put a few dirty hits on the quarterback. As I watched the hits, I knew this day was coming after the concussion he suffered against the St. Louis Rams earlier in the season. He has scheduled a press conference later today.
Kurt Warner is a Hall of Fame quality quarterback. He won’t be eligible for five years, but when you consider his numbers, and realize he led his teams to more Super Bowls than names like Brett Favre and Dan Marino, it’s hard to imagine he will not make the Hall of Fame. Some will say there were some bad years. He was injured, and he wasn’t in the right place. Many point to his year with the New York Giants. He was hired to mentor Eli Manning, not lead the Giants to a Super Bowl.
So it is with sadness that an end of an era, a truly inspiring story, comes to an end in the NFL. It seems like it was just yesterday we were told of the story of Warner throwing groceries across the Hy-Vee in Iowa. You have blessed many Mr. Warner with your class, your American story, your talent, and your faith. You are a rare player in the NFL today, a league that seems to be more me, me, me and flash that overcomes stories like yours. There are many good stories in the NFL, but there are far too many ugly stories.
Thanks Kurt Warner!
iPad? Look What the Enemy Has Done
Apple hopes the iPad will continue their success in the i line of products. The overhyped iPod touch, not capable of multi-tasking, runs iPhone applications but doesn’t run the celebrated OSX. Many people are disappointed.
On the other side of the computer spectrum, on the Windows side, Windows 7 is a success. Microsoft is celebrating huge profits as Windows 7 has been declared the fastest selling operation of all time. Microsoft sold over 60 million licenses since its release. Unlike the iPad, Windows 7 multitasks on tablet PCs, works as an MP3, has a touch screen, and can function as a picture frame and an alarm clock, which were selling points of Steve Jobs for the iPad.
I think Apple looks very silly this week. It’s no wonder they are labeling the iPad as the iTampon.
Will Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s New Beard Give Him Hope for 2010 NASCAR Season

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is looking less aero these days. He showed up for Speed Weeks donning a new beard. I guess he's looking to run from his old identity of an overrated NASCAR star in hopes of better things for 2010. I hope he took driving lessons to continue the facade.
Listen, out of all the Hendrick drivers, I would like to see Junior succeed, but I just don't think he has the fire in his belly like his dad did. I guess we will see. Something tells me the beard will be shaved by Bristol.
A 5.75% increase the Gross Domestic Product Does Not Mean the Economy is Good for Most Americans
In 1983, when we were pulling out of the 1982 recession the growth rate for the quarters that declared the recession over were in the 9%. This was the result of Ronald Reagan’s tax cuts which put more real money into the economy. The 5.75% growth that suddenly is declared at good news today is made up of stimulus money. They do, after all, count government expenditures as part of the gross national product. Each stimulus dime the government spent, has artificially propped up the numbers you see today.
We are far from being out of the clear. With the amount the national debt has ballooned in the last year, $3.7 trillion, combined with the amount of money the Obama treasury flooded the market with by printing trillions, if this is a recovery it is a fragile recovery—a sugar high. Possible inflation or hyper inflation combined with a double dip recession is very possible as Americans continue to lose jobs and retail sales remain low.
When Obama planned the stimulus, he knew he could artificially force the GDP up with government expenditures, but this does not show the overall health of business in America. Don’t put Kool and the Gang in the CD player yet. This is not time to celebrate!
You cannot promote a healthy economy based on funny money.
Liberals Will Question Obama's Spending Freeze with Disbelief: Obama Ups Spending on Nuclear Weapons
Obama tried to compare himself to Ronald Reagan during the State of the Union address. He wants Americans to believe he is tough on nuclear weapons, but realize he has a goal to end nuclear weapons. Two days after Obama announced his spending freezes to the country, he is pushing more spending on something that will enrage liberals.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner plans to increase spending on America’s nuclear arsenal. Obama is preparing spend more than half a billion dollars more on nuclear weapons than George W. Bush did. On Wednesday, Obama said nuclear weapons are the ‘greatest danger’ to the American people.
Joe Biden commented today, ‘We are committed to working with Congress to ensure these budget increases are approved.’
Biden said the Obama administration had inherited a ‘steady decline’ in support for U.S. nuclear stockpiles and infrastructure.
‘For almost a decade, our laboratories and facilities have been underfunded and undervalued,’ Biden said.
‘The consequences of this neglect - like the growing shortage of skilled nuclear scientists and engineers and the ageing of critical facilities - have largely escaped public notice.
‘The budget we will submit to Congress on Monday both reverses this decline and enables us to implement the president's nuclear-security agenda.’
Biden added: 'This investment is long overdue. It will strengthen our ability to recruit, train and retain the skilled people we need to maintain our nuclear capabilities.
'It will support the work of our nuclear labs, a national treasure that we must and will sustain.'
Obama the Nobel Prize Peace Winning spending freezing president obviously is a very complicated man. If he says something one day, expect something far different the next.
Nancy Pelosi's Food and Booze Congressional Welfare Entitlment: $101,000 Spent On Pelosi's In-flight Services
What to know how Nancy Pelosi affords her cosmetic surgery that keeps that joker face in perfect form? She’s forcing taxpayers to pay for her food and booze. A recent report on based on Pelosi’s expense reports shows Pelosi is living high on the hog off American taxpayers. Just the total of her in-flight services should alarm any taxpayer, as Congress continues to make their own entitlement programs that include food stamps and booze stamps for members of Congress—that’s right, Congressional welfare.
Pelosi’s own personal expense account that were justified as in-flight necessities include Maker's Mark whiskey, Courvoisier cognac, Johnny Walker Red scotch, Grey Goose vodka, E&J brandy, Bailey's Irish Crème, Bacardi Light rum, Jim Beam whiskey, Beefeater gin, Dewars scotch, Bombay Sapphire gin, Jack Daniels whiskey … and Corona beer. In the last two years, taxpayers have paid over $101,000 to make sure Pelosi flies like royalty. Should we just call her Queen Pelosi. She has obviously let the title of Representative go to her head in the hall of Congress that was set up for common men. The Freedom of Information Act helped expose Pelosi’s excesses.
Now I look back at the four years since Nancy Pelosi took Congress. There is a clear rise in unemployment after Pelosi took the speaker position. In two years she has spent more to pamper herself while on private flights paid for by taxpayers than most taxpayers have earned from their jobs in two years under the current economy. This is shameful. Then when you look at how Congress nickel and dimes the average American taxpayer with multiple taxes, which reduces their take home pay, so Nancy Pelosi can stuff booze down her joker lips, this is even more insulting.
Nancy Pelosi lives a plush life taking advantage of taxpayers. It’s just shameful!
The Irony of Al Gore's Claim He Invented the Internet
Al Gore has carefully crafted a wealth generating scheme behind a pseudo science known as global warming. Every time Al Gore speaks, he speaks for the interests of his investments, including the carbon credit trading market he counts on paying off making him the first carbon billionaire. Gore represent big carbon and considering this true intentions is far more evil than liberals claim big oil is. Gore has duped many liberals and environmentalists, so Gore can live the life many of them often denounce.
The real irony in Gore’s quest to become the carbon king of the world is that Gore may be responsible for his own demise, at least according to a claim he made on CNN to Wolf Blitzer on March 9, 1999. "During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet"
Just the real irony of Gore’s life comes from the fact the free flow of information the Internet allows, has also allowed recent stories that show the fallacies in global warming research to spread virally. In 2010, the world can’t depend on the United States mainstream media to cover stories like Hadley CRU, which showed the scientists were fixing the temperatures. If it wasn’t for ‘Al Gore’s invention’ the likelihood of the Hadley documents that showed global warming is a dishonest science may have not been discovered, hacked, or transferred from Hadley CRU to the eyes of journalists who were willing to put their careers on the line to expose the fraud.
Yes, it’s Gore’s invention that allowed the challenges against global warming to take place and reach the people. It has helped destroy the efforts of the government to tax our air by educating people of the inconsistencies in the scientific arguments, while showing the insanity of the solutions, just like yesterday’s announcement that some scientists want to pump the atmosphere with greenhouse gasses by simulating volcanoes to block the sun in hopes of cooling the earth, an idea that could lead to mass extinction based on previous evidence published in ‘Scientific America,’ October 2006.
So isn’t it funny Al Gore is getting what is coming to him by a device he claims responsibility for. There’s usually poetic justice for everything in life, and this is clearly both irony and poetic justice.
The Tenth Amendment Pledge: Election Politicians that Support Our Constitution
The Tenth Amendment pledge movement asks both state and federal politicians to commit to the Constitution to support states rights as given by our Constitution in the Bill of Rights. There are two pledges: a pledge to for federal candidates, and a pledge for state candidates. We need more candidates that understand the Constitution and will go to office honestly defending the Constitution.
The pledges are listed below:
The Federal Pledge
As a public office holder, or a candidate for public office, I affirm that:
1. All just political authority is derived from the People, and government may only be established and maintained with their consent.
2. The People of each State have the sole and exclusive right and power to govern themselves in all areas not delegated to their government.
3. A government without limits is a tyranny.
4. The Tenth Amendment defines the total scope of federal power as being that which has been delegated by the people to the federal government in the Constitution, and also that which is necessary and proper to advancing those powers specifically enumerated in the Constitution of the United States. The rest is to be handled by the state governments, or by the people themselves, as they determine.
5. In order for a federally-exercised power to be “necessary and proper” it must be a) something that, without which, would make the enumerated power impossible to exercise, and b) a lesser power than that which has been enumerated
6. The “Interstate Commerce Clause” in Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution, does not permit Congress to regulate matters that merely affect commerce among the States. It only permits Congress to regulate trade among the States.
7. The phrase, “general Welfare,” in Article I, Section 8 does not authorize Congress to enact any laws it claims are in the “general Welfare” of the United States. The phrase sets forth the requirement that all laws passed by Congress in Pursuance of the enumerated powers of the Constitution shall also be in the general Welfare of the United States. This was affirmed by James Madison when he wrote: “With respect to the words “general welfare,” I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators.”
8. The federal government is not authorized to tax the People to raise monies for unconstitutional purposes. Likewise, the federal government is not authorized to condition funding to State or local governments on compliance with mandates which require them to do what the federal government is not authorized to do directly.
9. When Congress enacts laws and regulations that are not made in Pursuance of the powers enumerated in the Constitution, the People are not bound to obey them.
10. When the federal government exceeds its Constitutional authority, a nullification of the act is the rightful remedy. Without that remedy, the People would be living in a tyranny, under the unlawful and excessive control of one or more branches of the federal government.
As a public office holder, or a candidate for public office, I promise that, as long as I hold office:
1. My votes will always be in favor of the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of this State. Every issue. Every time. No exceptions. No excuses.
2. I do, and will continue to, oppose any and all efforts by the federal government to act beyond its Constitutional authority.
3. I will proactively introduce and support measures designed to adhere to the Tenth Amendment and preserve, to their fullest extent, the powers of the People in my district, and of the legislators and administrations of my State.
4. I will introduce, sponsor and support a resolution affirming the sovereignty of the People of each State under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.
5. I will introduce, sponsor, and support legislation that seeks to repeal laws and regulations that are outside the scope of the powers delegated by the people to the federal government.
6. I will introduce, sponsor and support legislation that provides such relief as is necessary and proper to provide fair redress to the citizens of my State in response to actions by the federal government which exceeds its Constitutional authority.
7. Whenever I vote in favor of a new federal power, I will always make public my justification for it within the confines of the enumerated powers of the Constitution.
8. I will only vote in favor of a bill that I have thoroughly read, considered and understood.
9. I will be accountable to voters. Upon request, I will make public every vote I cast while in office.
10. I will keep this pledge public, and will provide a link on my website which directs constituents to the text of this pledge.
The State Pledge
As a public office holder, or a candidate for public office, I affirm that:

7. I will introduce, sponsor and support legislation which refuses federal funding made on condition that my State comply with federal mandates not authorized by the Constitution.
8. I will only vote in favor of a bill that I have thoroughly read, considered and understood.
9. I will be accountable to voters. Upon request, I will make public every vote I cast while in office.
