Billy Long Endorses Nancy Pelosi Led Federal Spending: Now Billy Long Can't Say He is Fed Up With Much
How can you have any conservative common sense and not see through the republicans meaningless Pledge to America? I laugh at Billy Long when I hear him say he is Fed Up knowing he came home from Washington, DC embracing the Pledge to America.
Upon Slick Billy's return from DC meeting with the republican establishment of career politicians he once claimed to be fed up, Long bragged to the Springfield News-Leader:
Long would like to see federal government spending rolled back to 2008 levels.
"That would save us $100 billion a year, just by doing that."
2008! 2008? 2008 marks the year that voters were fed up with the republicans eight years of growing government and increasing spending, which led to Nancy Pelosi taking charge of the House of Representatives in 2008. So what Billy Long appears to be saying is let's turn back the clock to the days Nancy Pelosi ran Congress. Heck, if Republicans want to act like Nancy Pelosi, I would rather we keep Pelosi rather than put up with a facade that hurts real conservatism.
Puppy love has obviously confused fed-up Billy.

you were going to stop posting this drivel right?

ReplyDeleteIt's like low hanging fruit.
It's ripe for the picking.
If you don't like the 'drivel' don't read it. Simple
ReplyDeleteYeah, you know I have thought about it. And being a conservative who is truly fed up and knowing that Billy Long and his people read this, this is my little way of saying going back to 2008 spending levels is not acceptable. In fact, I am fed up of Billy Long trying to pass his drivel off as being fiscally responsible. If Billy Long was truly fed up, he wouldn't have come back to Southwest Missouri like a parrot repeating republican establishment talking points that is going to do nothing to cut the national debt. 2008 spending increased the debt, and Billy Long thinks he is going to accomplish some kind of amazing miracle going to 2008 levels. So since you probably talk to Billy Long, you tell him I am laughing at him wanting to pass another Nancy Pelosi budget rather than go back before 2000, when a conservative republican Congress actually created surpluses. You let Billy Long know the interest on the federal debt is much greater than $100 billion a year, so his savings just got spent on interest and we went futher into debt. What's a matter with you? Do you not want to discuss these economic truths? To afraid fed up with career politicians and federal spending Billy Long will be seen for what he is? A FED UP FRAUD!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, cut spending to pre George W. Bush levels, or don't waste our time Mr. Long. This Pledge to America does little but allow more central planning by the Republican government--they are going to spend and grown government, but not as fast as the Democrats have the past two years. And for that we are supposed to feel good about Billy Long's candidacy all because he is says he is fed up but doesn't really show the leadership we need as voters who are fed up!
The only drivel is the drivel coming from Billy Long's mouth as he continues this fed up facade.
This is an important story in the news paper because it proves Billy Long is willing to settle at the command of those career politicians he once attacked. They have a word for someone who doesn't stand up for what they say they believe in. I am sure you can figure it out.
That's another thing. How about just repealing Obamacare and not offering a replacement. We have enough federal government ruling our lives, and replacing suggest more federal government--period.
