Voted for Billy Long in the Primary? Embarrassed Yet?

Did you vote for Billy Long in the Republican Primary? Are you embarrassed yet?
Are you embarrassed that in the most important midterm election in our great Republic's history, Billy Long would rather kiss pigs at the State Fair than engage in a serious debate concerning the issues facing our great Republic?
Are you embarrassed that at this critical time in our great Republic's history, Billy Long places his own ambition for power before the needs of our country and chooses to run from the debates?
Are you embarrassed that Billy Long promised his supporters a grassroots campaign, but he is having his handlers speak for him to keep his many weaknesses from being exposed?
Are you embarrassed that Billy Long said he was fed up with career politicians, but now spends more time with career politicians than he does discussing issues with the voters of Southwest Missouri?
Are you embarrassed Billy Long continues to lie that he will debate, while playing a game making it impossible to debate so his weaknesses are never exposed to the voting public?
Are you embarrassed that Billy Long's grassroots campaign has turned into politics as usual with negative campaign ads, big money to buy a seat in Congress, and a career politician machine running things while Billy Long keeps quiet and avoids answering the tough questions while offering no real solutions?
Are you embarrassed you voted for Billy Long? You should be.

Don't blame me, I didn't vote for him!
ReplyDeleteWhere's the billboard?
ReplyDeleteBillboard is located at entrance to Highland Springs.
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't matter if he was the pig kissing the fat guy. He has an "R" after his name and that is all that is required to win any election in "7".
ReplyDeleteHe chose to run for congress in 7 'cause it is such a lucky number to the big time gamblers.. I'm just sayin
Well said.

I supported Jack Goodman wholeheartedly. I attended every event I could, knocked on doors, and sent emails to every person I knew in the district. I worked very closely with Jack and the other people on the campaign and I can tell you that Jack has nothing to do with this blog and that I would not vote for Billy Long if he paid me, which I would not be surprised to see him try to do. It's not that I am a sore loser either. He's not qualified, he has no unique platform, he brings nothing to the table, and has proven to be more of a typical politician than ANY other candidate. He does not deserve the nomination, and he will more than prove that, as he is already doing. I will be there when Jack runs again, as he is the kind of candidate this nation needs, and many of us were praying for.
