Twenty States Considering AZ Law

More than twenty states are considering immigration laws similar to Arizona's recently passed bill. The law, which hasn't even taken effect yet, does the job of the federal government. Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Minnesota, South Carolina, and Michigan have come as far as introducing the bill on the floor of the capitol. These states realize the federal government is inefficient and has placed immigration on the back burner. "If the feds won't do it, we're going to have to do it," said Idaho Senator Monty Pearce.

State lawmakers from sea to sea are also worried that illegals are costing the taxpayer. This comes after a report that showed taxpayers funded medical services for an illegal in Idaho. The tab left behind? $100,000. At a time where states are reaching record unemployment and national underemployment is hovering around 19%, Americans don't like to hear that they are paying for illegal immigrants.

Not only are the taxpayers paying for medical services, we must include school and prison fees. The bottom line is Americans are tired of paying for illegals and support Arizona-like laws. With more than 20 states considering similar bills, it seems the federal government isn't satisfying most Americans.
