Casino Jips Woman of $42 Million Slot Machine Jackpot
A casino is refusing to pay out a $42 million plus jackpot that a woman won while playing slots in Central City, Colorado. The casino told the woman, "we can't pay that to you." Then they told the woman the machine malfunctioned. What you mean the slot machines are fixed?
The casino told the woman at 4:30 in the morning that the casino isn't even worth $42 million. Boy this is something. If this woman loses this, it sets up the case that benefits the casino.
The casino offered the woman a free breakfast and nights stay, and they refunded the woman's $23 she played. They at least owe this woman a settlement. This really makes you wonder even more about the integrity of the gaming industry.
When I first read this, I was hoping this was a Vegas casino, because we all know they probably couldn't afford to pay it out thanks to Barack Obama coming down so hard on Vegas in the first 13 months of his administration.
