Some Thoughts About Apple Computers and Chinese Children Builing iPods

I intentionally baited readers today to prove a point about how liberals look at profit. Steve Jobs and Apple Computers looked to maximize their profits by sending jobs to China. After an audit, it was discovered that in Jobs decision to participate in the free markets to maximize their profits, it was discovered children in China were making iPods, iPhones, and Mac computers.

You take a product like Apple's, which has a cult-like appeal, and suddenly the need to earn big profits to please stockholders is overlooked. I am also amazed that my point was missed. Companies like Apple, which donate heavily to the Democratic party get a pass when it comes to ethics when it comes to gaining a profit. Did Apple know they were using kids to build iPods prior to the audit, who really knows?

The fact remains, companies like oil, insurance, and other Wall Street profiteers are demonized for doing the exact thing Apple does--earn a profit. Yet you put the word Apple with liberal, and it brings out people defending huge profits. Interesting how that works.
