Phil in Wisconsin Remarks on Obama is a Loser, Rio, Favelas, and the Olympics

Just wanted you to see what a favela in Rio looks like. As you can see they seem to go on forever. People come to the city because they can't make any money in the countrysides. Most of these are middle of the road as they are made of a cheap brick, but contain no windows. The worst are made of scrap wood. Millions of people live in and around Rio in these conditions. The rumors going around the local Brazilians is that for the Olympics these will be bulldozed and the people driven away so the world won't see them.around Rio. Only one of the four cities I visited in Brazil didn't have miles and miles of these favelas. In Sao Paulo, a city with a population of 20 million, probably 15 million live in these conditions. Rio only has a population of 8 million with probably 4 or 5 million living like this.
