Obama a Marxist in College?: John C. Drew Sheds Light on Obama College Years


The Obama college years remain a black hole in Obama's past. We really don't know much about Obama's college years other than the first few college years were a blur of drug usage and partying.

Now a college professors who knew Obama in college is shedding some light on the Obama college years. Drugs may not be the only thing Obama dabbled with in college. The professor posted a blog and is conducted interviews on Obama's intrigue with Marxism.

This story isn't new. The mainstream media including Fox News ignored the story. Dr. John C. Drew claims he was a Marxist as well when he enrolled in college himself.

Drew had an encounter with Obama to specifically discuss Marxism. He was dating a girl who knew Barack Obama. His girlfriend came home one day excited wanting Drew to meet this man, knowing their philosophical views were similar. They eventually went out to dinner, drinks, partied, and discussed each other's Marxist views. Drew discusses more about the conversation in the video interview below.

Drew describes himself as a serious Marxist, including being an enemy of the US government, while he was in college. When they met, Drew describes Obama's views were parallel with Drew's views. He was one of the brotherhood, ready for revolution. Obama wasn't just an explorer of intellectual Marxism. He embraced Marxist Leninism.

Drew says Obama was in 100% agreement with his Marxist professors in college. He looked forward to a revolution in this country to overturn the power structure. This is a fascinating interview, because we may be seeing those revolutionary efforts engaged in front of us as Obama's policies appear to be dooming the country more than helping.


Drew has a Communist radar like gay men have gaydar. He has no doubt that Obama was a hard-core Marxist in college. I don't think this comes to any surprise as we have watched Obama wiggle around the Socialist label, while his critics have gone as far as equating socialism to racism. Of course Obama is working to give the power to the state by creating more dependency on the central government. This interview will further confirm what most of us suspect. Obama's roots are placed in the Communist Manifesto and other radical documents like Rules for Radicals--which is socialist/communist propaganda.

  9. I knew some of this, as well as many of his associates, before the election because I cared enough to know a candidate BEFORE the election rather than after.

    Now there is info that he may have had his degree and transcripts at Columbia bought and paid for while he was in Pakistan when he was suppose to be at Columbia, that enabled him to enter Harvard.

    Info by Percy Sutton stated that Obama's Harvard education was paid for by Khalid Al Mansour.

    Why doesn't some eager Reporter put all this together in one sock and win a Pulitzer?

  11. PatriotKY...''Reporters'' will never investigate Obama because those in the MSM have a vested interest in his succeeding. ''He'' is in fact, one of them politically. Wasn't it Chrissy Matthews who said that his(matthews) job was to help Obama succeed?
    The media had ample warnings and time to vette Barry and that includes FOX.

  14. You know what they say, if your not a liberal when your young you have no heart, and if your not a conservative when your old you have no brains. Given that Obama just proposed slashing NASA's budget and turning it over to the private sector, I'd say he must have a heart and brains.

    Remember Ronald Reagan was a liberal at one time.

    I thought the Obama haters were suspect of him because his records were gone and no one could remember him at college. Now instead of saying 'oh we were wrong, someone does remember him', they say, 'see I told ya so, he's a commie'. Almost everyone is a raging liberal in college, gimme a break.

    There is a huge difference between being a liberal in college and being a committed communist in college.

Obama wants to turn space flight over to the private sector, so where is your response to that? You should support it. Just like you should support his Medicare cuts. But no, you won't, because your more concerned with bashing Obama than being intellectually honest. Fake conservative 'republicans' in the house moan and groan about Obama's proposed Medicare cuts and NASA cuts. To republicans, government spending is good when it goes to people who vote for them, bad when it goes elsewhere. I find that hypocritical.

  17. Do a search and you will find I am an advocate of allowing private corporations to explore space. However, I don't agree with the government continuing to use taxpayers money to fund a corrupted science. NASA was tied to the Hadley CRU global warming temperature fixes.

    What amazes me about your further comment is all the times Obama says he will do something and then does something completely opposite. Just like days after he calls for a new tone, there are plenty of examples in both the White House and Congress what this new tone is.

    Oh, sure the rhetoric sounds wonderful, but actions... That's a different story. Obama promises a lot to pander to many, but fails to deliver on anything unless it directly benefits his radical philosophies.

    As well, this interview isn't simply a read through the Communist Manifesto and going through a phase. This is actually believing the rhetoric, as Obama's friend claims Obama wants a revolution.

    I think the idea that Obama is a secret commie is ridiculous simply because anyone with half a brain knows that communism does not work, and frankly, Obama is too smart to be a commie. Is he a liberal? Of course.

    When your 18 years old and looking to rebel against everything, communism might sound good on paper, you might embrace it. After you've lived a bit and read a bit of history, you realize that communism only sounds good on paper and would never work as intended. Basically, anyone who believes in communism is too dumb to ever become president, which Obama did, so he can't be communist, because he's not that dumb.

Obviously, when we are paying hundreds of billions of dollars in interest to the Communist Chinese because Obama is setting to double or triple the federal deficit within ten years to create socialism in the United States, will you claim you defended Obama's intelligence as our country is bankrupt.

    Anyone with half a brain knows you can't keep your house in order if you are going to continue borrowing money. Obama obviously hasn't learned this as his federal budget he presented is over $3 trillion in spending.

    I don't have the confidence in his intelligence that you do.

  20. Obama is either smart and willfully ignorant or is dumb and some person is pulling his strings behind the scenes. He seems to be doing the exact opposite as what needs to be done to fix the economy.

    @Mike I don't know how entrenched in your beliefs you were in college or whether you just kind of went around with the crowd and believed in liberalism just cause it was the cool thing to do or not, but Obama was brought up on Communism and his grandparents had communist friends and that can lay seeds in a person's mind, in a big way while growing up. By evidenced today and how he surrounds himself with radicals, it seems as though Obama was much more than just some person going along with the times but rather he was entrenched in the communist way-of-life.

    So all the Marxist professors -- who have actual PhDs, not JDs like Obama -- don't have half a brain? You do realize that many professors at Ivy League and other prestigious liberal arts colleges and major universities are self-described Marxists and communists. Right?

    That fact undermines your whole argument, doesn't it?

  22. I hate to break it to you Bill but the defecit numbers would have been what they are today no matter who was elected. The housing market would still have collapsed, we'd still be stuck in 2 wars, and a whole bunch of people would still be out of a job. The fact of the matter is that Obama inherited a mess, a huge mess. Bush inherited a surplus. If you think things would be different if McCain were elected your only fooling yourself.

    As far as China goes, yes they buy are debt, but why? Because they are nice and want to help America out? Heck no. They need us to buy their 'made in china' crap or they will cease growing. They are utterly dependent on America, if we fail, then they do as well. We are, because of our economic ties, mutually dependent. Sort of like the cold war where war was avoided due to the prospect of mutual nuclear destruction. Should we be dependent on China? I sure as heck don't think so, but poiticians on both sides of the isle think free trade is more important than national security. We owe China so much money because many Americans like to buy cheap consumer goods from Wal-Mart, most of which says 'Made In China'. You can't blame Obama for that.

    You can't make the claim that no matter who was elected the debt would be the same. Obama's stimulus package an the Omnibus spending package are two examples of how Obama increased the debt, and you can't make that claim with the unknown of how another person may have handled the issue. That's just silly.

    It has nothing to do with paying it back to the Chinese. It's meeting the interest payments that's the problem.

  24. Most of the debt is the result of spending programs already in place that 'kick-in' during recessions (e.g. unemployment insurance), not the result of the 'extras' in the spending bill. The debt would still be in the 3 trillion dollar range even if Ronald Reagan came back from the dead and was elected.

    Constitutional Law 101: the congress holds the power of the purse, not the president.

    Democrats and Republicans alike were happy to put their pork in the spending bill. And yes, Obama signed the bill into law, but he didn't have much choice since it was more important to pass something as opposed to nothing.

    Another big contributor to the current debt was the Republicans Medicare drug benefit which they failed to fund. Just like they failed to fund the wars in the regular budget.

  25. You don't need to teach the Constitution to me. I am aware of who holds the purse; however, it's Obama's agenda that has increased the debt, and he does propose a budget for Congress to debate.

    Why is government responsible for the American economy, especially when it's based on a FREE Market. Government needs to get out of the way, but this he had to pass something argument has no merit whatsoever. Since you want to talk about Constitution 101, most of the federal spending in unconstitutional in the first place according to the 18 enumerated powers.

    You are talking about a national debt the Democrats just voted to expand to $14.3 trillion, which was $10.1 trillion when Obama took the reigns, and you are simplifying it down to a Medicare program?

    Then you bring up unemployment. How many times has Obama and the Democratic Congress expanded jobless claims, and there was a bill in Congress again to expand jobless claims. You are oversimplifying this in hopes of keeping Obama's hands clean.

  26. Surprise, surprise? His parents and grandparents were communists. His mentor in Hawaii was Frank Marshall Davis, a card-carrying activist. He hung out with members of the Weather Underground and the SDS. He expounded Saul Alinsky as a teacher. All this and more was known before the election, but hidden or ignored by the press. A democracy depends on a free and responsible press.

  28. This certainly tracks with everything else we know about Obama's associations and political heritage. If he were given a free hand to revolutionize American society and government, what do you think it would look like? The only things holding him back right now are the political realities and public awareness. To me, he has zero charisma anymore. I fear his ability to channel the energy of the socialist, angry, progressive legions.

He needs a teleprompter to talk to grade schoolers and you people think this is smart. Much more like an educated idiot for sure.     Well, I suppose that word wouldn't be deemed politically correct by gentle conservative readers. But you can surely fill in the blank.

    A great many intelligent and inquisitive young minds become enthused and energized when they initially encounter non-mainstream systems of thought during their college years. Most often this doesn't result in total indoctrination. Most often it results in a broader understanding of the world. It gives one an increased ability to think outside the box.

  39. John Drew exaggerates and outright lies about what he knows or thinks he knows about Obama. For all his anti-government position, Drew published a pamphlet telling people how to access US Government money and become a consultant at US Government expense, which he is and does. In the last 2 years, Drew has been a schill for the Tea Baggers and the Republican Party and constantly publishing in the NYT blog how his wife could not find a job because of Obama and the Democrats in Congress. He repeated this ad naeseum. Then, all of a sudden, once the Republicans came into power in the 2010 elections, his wife miraculously no longer was unemployed or needed a job. Drew just keeps exaggerating and lying not only about Obama but about the alleged Armenian massacre in 1915 in Turkey. What Drew won’t tell you is that many Armenians were terrorists and plotting to overthrow the Ottoman government. I worked in Yerevan from 2006 to 2010 and the Armenians are a people not to be trusted.
