They take advantage of children in their classrooms. They use the Internet to take advantage of children. Far too many teachers are robbing children of their innocence through manipulation leading them to sex. With the latest teacher caught by authorities, another aspect is open into the world of teacher student relationships.

John Bartleson III , an Oklahoma teacher, was arrested by Oklahoma authorities for sexual misconduct on the Internet with a child. The San Springs High School teacher from Mannford, Oklahoma teacher is accused of chatting with an undercover police officer pretending to be a 13-year-old girl. He exposed himself using a Web cam and tried to get the girl to meet him in person.

As if that's not bad enough, the man encouraged the girl to watch pornography on the Internet involving teachers and students. So not only do we have a problem in the nation's classroom, it sounds like there is a problem of classroom inspired teacher student relationships winding up on the Internet.

Isn't it sad you can't count on teachers in the school to prepare your kids for life, but isn't it sadder you have to worry about the character of your kid's teachers?
