Republicans Left Without a Candidate in NY 23; Republican Dede Scozzafava Quits Race for House Seat

If I were Doug Hoffman, I wouldn't go running back to a confused Republican Party in New York. They chose a Republican as liberal as Obama himself for the seat over Hoffman. Now they don't have a candidate.

Newt Gingrich backed Republican Dede Scozzafava has dropped out of the NY23 race. As you know, the very liberal Republican was chosen by party bosses over the conservative Doug Hoffman. Hoffman has captured support across the nation and has gained in the polls over the last week. It's time the party learns a lesson here.

She leaves the race with the following letter to friends and supporters:

Dear Friends and Supporters:

Throughout the course of my campaign for Congress, I have made the people
of the 23rd District and the issues that affect them the focal point of my
campaign. As a life long resident of this District, I care deeply and
passionately about its people and our way of life. Whether as a candidate for
Congress, a State Assemblywoman or a small town Mayor, I have always sought to
act with the best interest of our District and its residents in mind—and today I
again seek to act for the good of our community.

The opportunity to run as the Republican and Independence Party candidate
to represent the 23rd District has been and remains one of the greatest honors
of my life. During the past several months, as I’ve traveled the district,
meeting and talking with voters about the issues that matter most to them, I’ve
been overwhelmed by the amount of support I’ve received as I sought to serve as
their voice in Washington. However, as Winston Churchill once said, Democracy
can be a fickle employer, and the road to public office is not always a smooth
one.

In recent days, polls have indicated that my chances of winning this
election are not as strong as we would like them to be. The reality that I’ve
come to accept is that in today’s political arena, you must be able to back up
your message with money—and as I’ve been outspent on both sides, I’ve been
unable to effectively address many of the charges that have been made about my
record. But as I’ve said from the start of this campaign, this election is not
about me, it’s about the people of this District. And, as always, today I will
do what I believe serves their interests best.

It is increasingly clear that pressure is mounting on many of my supporters
to shift their support. Consequently, I hereby release those individuals who
have endorsed and supported my campaign to transfer their support as they see
fit to do so. I am and have always been a proud Republican. It is my hope that
with my actions today, my Party will emerge stronger and our District and our
nation can take an important step towards restoring the enduring strength and
economic prosperity that has defined us for generations. On Election Day my name
will appear on the ballot, but victory is unlikely.

2009 North Atlantic Hurricane Season Fizzles

Anyone remember Al Gore warning of the horrible storms and hurricanes that are coming if we don't stop man-made global warming. Well, as more signs prove man-made global warming to a political hoax designed to gain power for world government and oppress the people, we are watching 2009 defy political science yet once again.

North Atlantic hurricane activity is the lowest since 1997. Tropical cyclones are at a 30-year low too, but we were warned these storms were going to get worse with each passing year. We were warned by politicians. Maybe that's the first problem.

Fall Pictures from the Arkansas Ozark Mountains

Just north and east of the Ouachita Mountains in Arkansas are the Ozarks. The Ozarks are probably the oldest mountain range in the United States. We passed through them on the way home last weekend as drove up Scenic 7, Arkansas State Highway 7. Along the route, we stopped to see the Grand Canyon of the Arkansas, which is the deepest and largest valley in the Ozarks, carved by the beautiful Buffalo River.

Last weekend I enjoyed fall in the Ouachita Mountains. The Ouachita Mountains stretch from just west of Little Rock into Oklahoma. There is a 54 mile drive on Scenic Arkansas 88 and Oklahoma One which many of these pictures come from.

Including in the pictures are Mount Sugarloaf. When I worked for Kodak Dental a few years ago, I left the Arkansas State Dental Meeting in Hot Springs and drove to Tulsa via 88. As I crossed into Oklahoma and found a general store to get gas (they had the old analog pumps), I went into pay. I noticed the front-page story on the local paper had an article that geologist were watching the old mountain because it's a dormant volcano. That's right, a volcano in Oklahoma in the Spiraling Staircase. Who knew?

The article suggested the volcano may be coming back to life since temperatures on the surface and within the mountain were increasing. That's one of the things I miss about being on the road. You received an encyclopedia worth of useless trivia.

William Ayers, Domestic Terrorist, a Frequent Guest at the White House

In Obama's first ten months in office, domestic terrorist William Ayers has been to the White House on more than one occasion according to just-released White House visitor logs. Obama said he barely knew the guy during the election. They only sat on a board together, and now he is listed as part of the Obama promised transparency (which is a joke by the way) as a frequent visitor to the White House.

I thought Obama barely knew the guy. Oh, and by the way, another man Obama ran from, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the racist, anti American preacher whose church Obama attended, has been there too--another man Obama successfully lied about and ran from during the election. By the way, according to an NBC report, according to the White House, these names are just coincidental and are not necessarily who we think they are. Yeah right!

The 111th Congress: The F You Congress

No, I am not going to drop the F-bomb first thing in the morning, but I am going to allude to it. I have watched the actions of the 111th Congress now for months, and the simplest way to refer to this bunch of scoundrels is simply by calling them the 'F' You Congress. After all I saw take place this summer, I feel like they are flipping the majority of Americans the bird.

Nothing shows this better than what happened this past week in Congress. After a heated summer for Congress in which they went home and faced their angry constituents over the healthcare debate, Congress doesn't just ignore their constituents, they flipped them the bird. How does Congress justify an unpopular healthcare plan, proven by the polls as support fell with each passing day, by nearly doubling the size of it, leaving all the unpopular issues in it like the public option, end-of-life counseling death panels, and a trillion dollar price tag, and ad obvious support for the public funding of abortions after the heat they took this past summer?

There is no justification. They didn't listen to the people as they are supposed to as elected representatives. Their message in the town hall meetings as they complained like babies that we lost our manners was a simple F you. That's the conclusion I have drawn after studying the latest effort to take over the healtcare system. It's like they took that last unpopular bill and asked how can we spend more to take more rights away from the people.

Worst of all, it's a big F YOU. Nancy Pelosi wants to force a vote on the bill as soon as 72 hours after the bill was released to the public. In other word, we can't let the people of America see what is in this bill or we are going to have to head home on Christmas break without a bill passed and more rude people in our face. A vote could take place as soon as Monday. Nearly 2000 pages of laws that will affect every person's healthcare direction, and they want to rush a vote. Do you think they have any respect left for the voters? I don't.

In the bill, people are only going to have healthcare insurance options between their employers or the government. More than likely, your employer are going to drop your coverage based on that it will be cheaper to pay the healthcare tax of 8% than pay the 13% national average on payroll for insurance. Not only that, but Congress has managed to give the employers one more reason to drop your coverage. They are dropping the employer tax benefits for providing health insurance.

Another big F you goes out to the healthcare industry. Only Congress and Obama could get aways with telling the American people they are going to lower healthcare cost and then impose huge new taxes on the healthcare industry which will only increase costs. Medical device makers face $20 billion in new taxes--taxes which will be passed to the people needing pace makers, artificial hips, and other devices.

Obama and Congress have misrepresented how much money it takes to bring a new drug to market, and believe drug companies should place candy-like prices to medications it takes hundreds of millions of dollars to research, develop, and then get through the FDA. They will cough up another $80 billion. Do you honestly think this is going to drop the costs of the medication senior citizens need? It's never been about lowing cost--only increasing power, and Congress is saying F you all along the way to collect more unconstitutional power.

One this is passed and shoved down our throats with the words 'F You Very Much,' they are going to pass cap and trade. It's a done deal--don't be fooled because it's stalled in the Senate. The Obama administration has already figured out an estimated revenue based on cap and trade taxes when he presented the latest budget deficits a few weeks ago. The deficit would have been over $600 billion more had he not included the revenue from cap and trade. It's coming. Every month when you get your utility bills and every time you pump gas in your car, there will be the subtle reminder of the 'F you' screamed across the nation from the walls of Congress across the fruited plain in higher cost to every American. All the while more scientists are calling global warming a politically motivated scam.

Stock Market Takes Tumble Over Realization Obama's Economy was on Sugar High

Apparently Wall Street isn’t buying Obama’s claim the recovery has started based on third quarter numbers. The market fell nearly 250 points today as Obama celebrates. As more sources began asking the question is there really a recovery, stocks tanked.

Most financial experts realize the growth seen in the third quarter is based on economic sugar known as stimulus. Sugar burns quickly and then crashes, and apparently Wall Street understands Obama’s claim the economy has improved under his leadership wait for the next quarter when the economy won’t have programs like Cash for Clunkers propping it up. As you know from last week, we have seen the maximize results of the stimulus. Next quarter the Obama economy must learn to crawl on its own.

"Confidence still strikes me as shockingly low," said Jeff Kleintop, chief market strategist at LPL Financial in Boston. "Consumers are still very pessimistic, and that is evident in individual investors' hesitancy to embrace this rally."

Fall of the Republic: The New World Order Documentary

Alex Jones new documentary Fall of the Republic is out. As always, it's an interesting look at what is going on in the United States in regards to the New World Order. I find the fact Dick Morris sees this world government developing through the global warming agenda alarming. Like Morris, I used to doubt this stuff. Now I am not so sure.

Alex Jones is right. If the Constitution and the Bill of Rights no longer exist, America is just real estate--meaningless dirt. We need to fight for our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Obama's presidency does seem like the final bridge to this New World Order many have doubted, especially when you see what's on the table and open for debate. As you know the coming global warming summit in Copenhagen comes with warnings America is prepared to surrender her sovereignty thanks to the policies of Barack Obama. I will let you decide though.

I myself feel like we are being duped everyday by government and we are losing our rights. I have to look at this globalist agenda as a reason why it's happening. Here's the full version.

Haunted Ozarks: The Best Spooks in Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas

Halloween 2005, I sat in front of Spring Hill Cemetery in Barrington Hills, Illinois with a date looking for ghosts. She had a fascination with Chicago ghosts and haunted locations.

Unfortunately, Spring Hill Cemetery has been vandalized, so our efforts were probably robbed by the security that sat parallel to the cemetery gates. From what I understand, on an autumn might, many people have reported seeing orbs around the graves of the country cemetery in Suburban Chicago. That night started a tradition.

The following year, I drove out to the old Joplin spook light. For nearly 130 years, local residents have reported seeing a mysterious light that appears to move. In the early 1980s, a comedy variety show on NBC called Real People traveled to the Missouri and Oklahoma border to find the spook light. If I remember correctly, some locals said it was the ghost of a train conductor carrying his lantern along the tracks. I don’t recall seeing tracks when I was there, nor did I see the light for Halloween 2006.

Obviously, it’s still a huge attraction for people in Southwest Missouri. Many people still gather on Spook Light Road to look for the light and probably drink beer as well from what I saw. The side of the road is usually lined with spectators, and there is even a Spook Light Museum you can visit before going to search for the light. The Spook Light experience wasn’t as scary as Spring Hill Cemetery, but it was still a lot of fun. There’s just something about a creepy about a foggy cemetery during Halloween.

This Halloween, I will choose another haunted location to scope out in Southwest Missouri. There are many good choices, including the Crescent Hotel which is just outside of Southwest Missouri in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. (If you haven’t seen the ghost pictures in the Crescent Hotel, check them out.) The Basin Hotel also claims to have its ghost in Eureka Springs.There are many haunting sites close to where I live.

One such location is an old lodge on the James River called Winoka. Winoka is located on the land on the southeast corner of US 65 and US 60 with access to it from Stan Musial Boulevard of US 60. Winoka features the cement foundations and old buildings of the old lodge and an old swimming pool. It’s quite creepy night; although I have never seen a ghost there. We basically scare ourselves every time we go for a night hike into the Winoka campgrounds. To rid the community out of some untruths about Winoka. It’s not a Girl Scout camp, nor were any girl scouts killed there. It’s also not an old nudist camp. It’s just an old hunters lodge.

Another haunted location in Springfield Missouri is the Albino Farm. Me and a friend rode our bikes there from Strafford, Missouri, when we were kids. We started to walk up to the farm with our bikes on our shoulder, and my buddies bicycle tire suddenly exploded. We both dropped our bikes and ran like hell for the road. At the bottom of the road is a creek. The bridge that crosses the creek is supposed to be haunted according to a math teacher I knew at Hillcrest High School. I forget the story though about the reason for the haunting.

One haunted location I probably won’t have access to in Springfield is the Lander’s Theater, also known as the Springfield Little Theater. Actors on stage say they have seen a ghost in the balcony, perhaps a phantom of the theater. Others say they have seen a tall blond female ghost appearing out of the fourth floor window. Some explanation for the spirit include a janitor who died in a fire at the theater in 1920. It’s rumored several spirits haunt the theater.

Just south of where I live, in Branson, is there is the Noland Road. Locals don’t know much about the ghost that haunts the road, but dusty cars often show proof you have encountered the Noland Road ghost. Many have claimed a small hand print all over their car after driving down the road. Noland Road is off the Ozark Mountain High Road and Sycamore Church Road.
The Shepherd of the Hill production off of MO 76 has its own ghost as well. Those who have seen the outdoor theater production claim they have seen a Civil War soldier ride off on a horse during the show. If you are in Branson, Ghost & Haunt Tours is a ghost tour of historic downtown Branson.

The old Danforth Cemetery off of East Division just past Coopers Estate also claims to be haunted. For years, it was said there were satanic rituals going on at the cemetery and people were warned not to travel near the cemetery on Halloween. An old, abandoned church used to sit in front of the cemetery and was said used by Satanist. One night the church burnt down, maybe by locals to keep the bad elements out of the cemetery. The cemetery is said to be haunted.

Finally, on the east mountain of Busiek State is Carter Cemetery. Most people hiking there for the first time are startled when they find it at the top of the mountain. The trail leads straight to the cemetery. Many who take the trail at night admit to seeing Orbs around the tombstones. It’s a good climb, so come prepared with the right shoes. You may have to cross a creek to get there.

Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan Questions H1N1 Government Propaganda

Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan believes H1N1 is a product of man. He also goes as far as many of us have acknowledging it that it is being pushed by a “propaganda machine powered by fear.” “I am not a doctor, and I am in no way suggesting that you should follow any medical advice from me,” Corgan writes as he explains that he will not take the vaccination the government pushes.

Corgan also goes as far as questioning Obama, “in my heart, there is something mighty suspicious about declaring an emergency for something that has yet to show itself to be a grand pandemic. Our American President Obama has declared a national emergency about this virus, which he in his own words said was, at this point, a preventative measure. So, why declare an emergency if there isn’t one?”

I agree. What is the reason the Obama administration wants to push the fear?

I for one will not be taking the vaccine. I do not trust those who make the vaccines, or the apperatus behind it all to push it on us thru fear. This is not judgment; it is a personal decision based on research, intuition, conversations with my doctor and my ‘family’. If the virus comes to take me Home, that is between me and the Lord. I have put up some of these links to inspire the question in you, so that perhaps you can make a better decision for yourself. That is what holistic life is about: a willingness to look at all the facts or opinions.

I am willing to question anything: the existence of God, the existence of me or you or Robert Zimmerman. I am willing to wonder aloud whether any of this we experience here on Earth is real. What is there to be afraid of in questioning life itself? I know God is not afraid of my doubt. That is why He gave me the faculty to doubt, to overcome its mystique to better know faith.

If the propaganda machine kicked into overdrive about kindness, manners, working together, human ingenuity, and grace, then maybe I would view its function differently. But its current function is to maim and distort the truth, not to enlighten. How do I know this? Because it has fear attached to it, because it uses fear to move energy. Anything connected to fear is definitely not connected to Love or the promotion of Love.

The state of Massachusetts here in America is about to sign into law (if it hasn’t already) for a mandatory vaccination. The state will have the power to come into your home and incarcerate you for being unwilling to comply with a vaccination order. Didn’t you hear? Where are the Stimulus Jobs Mr. Obama?

The Obama administration claims the stimulus bill has saved or created one million jobs. Remember in the days where bad math coming from the White House was fuzzy math? Well this is fuzzy math, and the mainstream media is surprisingly quick to attack the Obama administration over the White House’s lie.

When the stimulus bill was passed, unemployment was at 7.6%. It now sits at 10%, which means 3.3 million jobs have been lost since the stimulus passed. Now, I am not a math genius, but I am pretty sure if the unemployment percentage rate moves upward, and there are 3.3 million job losses, that you can’t make the claim you created or saved one million jobs.

Hey Obama, did you save my job? I haven’t lost it since you took office. Are you bragging to your buddies in the White House that Bungalow Bill is still working?

Of course now the media has figured out as more Americans have lost their jobs since Obama took over, they are actually scrutinizing the stimulus. On CBS, a report asked why stimulus money was used to study the sexual habits of college freshmen women. Another part of the stimulus was spent analyzing social network internet sites. Of course we have listed many of the other non-economic stimulus projects from the performing arts to other wasted efforts. All in all, it looks like Obama and the Democrats have done a good job of wasting $787 billion dollars, which further raised the national debt.

Asylum of Terror: Political Correctness is Destroying Halloween

It’s now politically incorrect to name your commercial haunted house ‘Asylum’ in New Jersey. The Red Hill Museum in Clinton, New Jersey, has angered mental health advocates. How cruel it is to make fun of mental illness by naming your haunted house after a term frequently associated with mental health illnesses! That’s exactly what is happening.  

Red Hill Museum published an add reading, “"Dementia, paranoia, violent sociopathic behaviors, physical abnormalities and deformities ... these are but a few of the afflictions that torment the wretched souls imprisoned within the walls of the Asylum. In 1942, the doors of the asylum and the grounds were abruptly closed to the patients and the public after the inmates of the asylum overtook the staff and in one devastating night, tortured and then slaughtered all 200 staff members on duty ... Come if you dare.""

This has angered “dozens” of people according to Cynthia Gray of the Governor’s Council on Mental Health Stigma. All because a few people are angry, thousands of people have to have their enjoyment of the haunted house questioned and perhaps challenged and eventually closed. Can’t we have some fun anymore America without someone getting their feelings hurt?

"I look at it this way," Gray said. "I love Halloween ... but there must be another way to celebrate it."

There is Ms. Gray. Just don’t go. No one is making you go, and I am willing to bet most people realize what they see in the Asylum of Terror is just make believe. You remember those two little words Mr. Rogers inspired don’t you Ms. Gray. It’s make believe—harmless fun.

Whatever Happened to the Eighth Amendment?

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Week after week, I read stories of how law enforcement officials continue to abuse the power the public has trusted them with. In Pittsburgh last month, G20 protesters faced a new police weapon originally used in Iraq called the Sonic Cannon. The sonic cannon according to CNN emits a high pitched frequency that can actually damage a person’s hearing. According to Erich “Mancow” Muller, the weapon can force a person to vomit and drop without having control of their bodies. I can’t help but ask, how is this not unusual punishment inflicted on people.

Many police officers have abused the taser, and I know you have probably seen the 70-year-old woman being tasered on YouTube during a routine traffic stop. Police officers across the nation continue to abuse a device that sends electric shocks through the body. The Ozark Police Department in Ozark, Missouri, takes the cake for worst example of taser abuser in the United States. A 16-year-old boy, small in build, laid injured on the side of US 65 with a broken back and broken foot. In a story that still doesn’t make sense on the part of the Ozark police, officers tasered the boy up to 19 times according to taser injuries found on the boy’s body.

Why doesn’t the Eight Amendment matter in the United States anymore? It’s clear police officers across the nation are inflicting unusual punishments on citizens. America is becoming a police state defined that you are automatically guilty because a police officer can lie on a police report and produce virtually no evidence towards a person’s guilt. If an officer says it, it must be true. Often, the police officer abuses the situation that the slightest move during the arrest is suddenly a resisting arrest charge. Even if an officer forces your head to a position an suspect to where they can’t breathe, the fight for breath can be considered resisting arrest. Cops are getting away with the same actions that our own servicemen at GITMO are being demonized over.

In America, everywhere you look these days, you are on a camera. These cameras work to find guilt, but cameras never work to protect people from the police state in America. Officers may have cameras positioned in their cars or on their tasers, but they know how to get around being seen abusing their power. Until officers have cameras on their persons that protect people from police abuse, the Eighth Amendment will continue to be forgotten by many bad cops.

As Obama Brags About the Economy in the 3rd Quarter: Real Outlook Not Good

I guess you have heard by now the sugar high known as Cash for Clunkers helped pushed the economy into growth. You have to know with a sugar high comes the eventual crash. Cash for Clunkers is political theater. Look, all this spending and printing money is bringing America back they want you to believe. Most Americans aren't buying it.

The real problem comes from the obvious--JOBS. I was listening to Mike Church this morning talk about just how bad the job situation has become. Manufacturing jobs that drive the economy are dying. According to Church, after World War II, 30 percent of all jobs in the United States were manufacturing jobs. In Obama's America, that number is down to ten percent.

I know I don't need to remind you the ten percent that is left is under the threat of the Obama administration. Past administrations haven't helped the situation with unfair free trade agreements that sent jobs packing, but Obama may be the final blow.

Cap and trade taxes will cost industry billions. Without a doubt, it's a job killer. The idea of a government official regulating the amount of carbon dioxide a business uses and then charging a tax on it's overage of the their allowed amount will send many businesses elsewhere to a place where they won't have to deal with the intrusion of government--you know China, Mexico, and South Korea.

After billions in bailouts, General Motors prepares to thank the American people by producing more cars in these countries. Boeing is looking at the growing aerospace industry in Mexico and seeing they can pay less to workers to produce the same airplanes. These are real clues about the future of our economy, and now is not the time to run more business of with cap and trade taxes.

To improve the economy, America needs jobs. Unemployment continues to go up, and the Obama administration itself acknowledges unemployment may stay high for a long time. If Obama continues to push unfavorable legislation towards American jobs, do you really think the economy is going to get better? If there are more people unemployed, there are less people spending to make the economy healthier. The less people who spend, the less peoples services are needed to produce. A Tax on Doctors to Practice?: Why Not a Tax on Congress to Legislate?

Fox News reports under the new healthcare bill introduced by Nancy Pelosi, doctors would face new taxes just for practicing. This is how Obama and the Democrats plan on lowering healthcare costs and making it more accessible to everyone? Please, stop insulting me.

Many of the taxes come as a spanking from the Obama administration. If you didn't deal make a deal with Obama behind the scenes and come out and support his attempts to reform healthcare, you will now pay the price. Medical device makers face this reality. They didn't bow down to dear leader, and now they face $20 billion in taxes from anything from pacemakers to artificial hips. Please tell me how this is going to lower costs?

While Congress continues to spank everyone but themselves, I was thinking wouldn't it be nice if there was a legislative tax. For every bill passed, members of Congress would have to pay taxes on the bill, fees that cover the cost to taxpayers for their nonsense, printing and documentation fees, and of course fact-finding trips. Perhaps, it would control the out of control Congress.

No Scary Halloween Costumes in Most Public Schools

The wussification of America continues. This year the ban of certain costumes at public school parties continue. At first, it was any costume with a weapon. This included Star Wars light sabres and strormtrooper laser guns. Fine, but now they are pushing it too far.

Many schools across the nation are banning scary costumes. Whoa, wait a minute, doesn't the pathetic education system across the United States understand the history of scaring off evil spirits on All Hallows Eve, the day before All Saints Day?

If a school finds a costume offensive, gross, or saddening, the costume is prohibited. This means new traditional American cult characters like Jason, Freddie Krueger, and even the silly Scream ghost mask will probably be banned from participating in classroom festivities.

In Illinois, the schools are encouraging students to dress up like historical characters. I guess many of our founding fathers and people like Columbus would probably be banned since the revision of history have turned these men into evil Europeans. I bet Obama is acceptable though despite him sitting in a racists church led by the Reverend Jeremiah Wright for 19 years.

Illinois also encourages kids to dress up as delicious, healthy food. Yeah, that's what every kid wants to be--a salad.

Costumes like vampires, zombies, and other creatures of the night are out. In my old hometown of Plainfield, Illinois, Tom Hernandez of District 302 speaks of how political correctness has now filtrated into Halloween; although, he doesn't say it like that. "We're balancing a tradition here with the times we live in." In other words, let's take another day that was fun for kids and be sure we don't offend anybody. We can't afford to have any child's feelings hurt because someone dressed up as a ghoul. Hernandez suggest kids dress up as pumpkins or carrots. Why bother?

Even the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz is questionable. Here are some rules from many schools this year.

Fox News Beating Obama on NPR Poll

It's pretty sad when Obama can't even win on an NPR poll. Fox News has recently pulled ahead in a poll that asked NPR listeners, "In White House Vs. Fox News War Of Words, Who Gets Your Vote?"

The poll is close right now, with Fox News ahead by a little less than 25,00 votes or 6%. Of course, a vote for Fox News supports the First Amendment and sends a clear message the President's job is not to put a news source on an enemies list. Protect the First Amendment and Fox News right to present the news. Obama is out of his league.

Poor Barack: Manhattan Date Night Still Angers Obama

Obama appears to like White House life, and what’s not to like when you are Obama? You have a biased media hiding the disastrous results of his policies, which include higher unemployment, a devalued dollar, a prolonged recession, huge amounts of debt, and coming inflation, all the while you get to party, play golf, eat expensive steaks, go to Europe multiple times on somebody else’s dime, and play with celebrities. There is one thing he can’t get over.

He feels he was unfairly criticized for his date night in New York City, where the carbon is a dangerous pollutant President, jumped on a carbon producing jet at the taxpayer’s expense of close to a quarter million dollars to wind and dine Michelle in New York City. After preaching for months that Americans are going to have to learn to sacrifice, Obama clearly hasn’t given up any of the luxuries in life. Poor Barry.

"People made it into a political issue," Obama told The New York Times Magazine. "If I weren't president, I would be happy to catch the shuttle with my wife to take her to a Broadway show, as I had promised her during the campaign, and there would be no fuss and no muss and no photographers. That would please me greatly. The notion that I just couldn't take my wife out on a date without it being a political issue was not something I was happy with."

Trust me, many of us wish you could catch that shuttle. However, when you preach that we must live a certain way, we expect you to take the lead Mr. Obama. This has nothing to do with politics. If you were a leader with any understanding of leadership and had any dignity, you would know you can’t tell people they need to sacrifice and get their finances in order and then continue to be reckless with our country’s finances including adding an additional $200,000 plus so you can have your date night with Michelle on an evening you didn’t have business in New York. You wanted this life, you must deal with the restrictions it includes.

Maybe next time, you should consider the Washington DC area for your date, especially if you want to preach to use about living within our means both with energy usage and financially.

New Cash for Clunkers Report Should Outrage Americans

CNNMoney reports Cash for Clunkers cost taxpayers $24,000 per car sold. 690,000 total cars were sold during the government program which started in late July. When you take the average of cars sold in the same period that that Cash for Clunkers ran, there were only 125,000 additional cars sold during the period compared to monthly averages for the same weeks in the past according to Edmunds.com. Normally for that period of time each year, and average of 465,000 cars are sold.

When you consider the temporary spike of 125,000, the taxpayers wound up paying $24,000 per car in the spike range. Thanks to the spike, Obama is celebrating third-period growth. He should be warned, since Cash for Clunkers, sales are down again. His two pet projects General Motors and Chrysler aren’t fairing well either. The fourth quarter will say a lot about the Obama celebration, and the nation’s leading retailer Walmart, isn’t optimistic for big numbers during the holiday season. They predict it’s going to be a down holiday retail season. If I were Obama, I wouldn’t get too cocky over a sugar high.

72 Hours to Read 1990 Complicated Pages

Nancy Pelosi has applied the 72-hour rule for the new healthcare bill coming out of the House. That means the House of Representatives has the remainder of today, Friday, and basically parts of Monday before the Speaker can call for a vote on the floor.

Is this even acceptable? We are talking about a trillion dollar spending plan that could prove intrusive to the lives of Americans, raise taxes significantly, change employer practices in America, and of course have a say in how the remaining days of our lives will be handled in terms of healthcare. What is the rush?

Oh that’s right, Pelosi learned the hard way that they can’t possibly give the American people time to debate this is. It hasn’t ever been very popular anytime it has been given time to expose what is in the bill. They have 72 hours to keep America from discovering what is in the bill in hopes the Congressional switchboards don’t light up with angry Americans to answer to.

Employers receive a tax break for providing healthcare benefits for their employees. If the new healthcare bill passes, this tax break could be phased out within the next two years. I don’t need to tell you what the means for employers who are already looking at an average of 5% savings if they drop your healthcare coverage and move you to the public option, and there should be no surprise Obama and the Democrats endgame is to monopolize the healthcare sector with a single payer system.

This new bill is just as evil as the bill gathered to defeat this past summer. It’s time to put the pressure on your Senator and Representative. Obama Receives 18 Caskets at Dover Air Force Base

The families who were met by Barack Obama last night are better people than me. Marine One flew Obama to Dover Air Force Base last night where the caskets of 18 servicemen and women were met by the media, the families, and a president who has more time to play golf, party, and vacation than make decisions that may have saved the lives of these fine military members. I don’t know that I could have faced the president without telling him how I really feel.

Obama has had 10 months to provide leadership in Afghanistan. Every week, I read headlines claiming he needs more time. All the while, there’s another party, another round of golf, another shopping trip, another photo op at a local hamburger establishment, another celebrity event, or another vacation. Obama would have gotten an earful if I had to receive a casket with an American flag draped over it of a loved one. Obama’s image as a Washington socialite appears more important that the safety of our military who continue to fight under good generals who continue to have their hands tied by the Obama administration.

October has been the deadliest month in Afghanistan since the war began. At this point, considering the mighty force that is the United States military, there is no sense for this.

Air Horns, Free Speech, and the House of Representatives

It will be a year on November 1. The Obama concert tour hit Southwest Missouri for one final drive of support in hopes of winning Missouri. The busses stood at the old K-Mart parking lot that currently houses Bass Pros Office, evidence of the campaign bussing kids in to drive up the numbers attending the rally, as mindless eyes with euphoric eyes stood in line for hours to see the future Dear Leader read from a teleprompter.

They brought the circus of Democrats on stage before Dear Leader took the stage at Parkview’s John F. Kennedy football field. The first thing out of Claire McCaskill’s ignorant mouth was I didn’t know there were so many Democrats in Greene County. There aren’t Claire. Your party bussed them in.

The reason, I am bringing this up this morning is I had an interesting hit from the House of Representatives this morning. They came to BBCW from Google searching for the words “air horn free speech.” Yes, these are the kind of things your Congressmen are getting paid the big bucks to research. And so you ask, what does “air horn free speech” has to do with BBCW? Simple. Every time Obama spoke, I worked to drown him out with an air horn.

The few McCain supporters that came to the rally enjoyed the sweet sound of the air horn, but the Obama supporters were a little less tolerant. In fact, I was actually attacked by an Obama supporting Lesbian wearing a Bush button, although she was no fan of W. She tugged on my arms to and even entered the pocket of my hooded University of Illinois sweatshirt taking my hands trying to get the air horn. Then she made some off colored comments about my mom. Nasty woman!

And so as we near the one-year anniversary, we have members of Congress apparently debating if an air horn constitutes free speech. I’d say this is really sad that they have nothing better to do with their time, but this is better than adding more to the healthcare bill that none of them will read because they are too busy looking for trivial issues on Google.

"Deficit Neutral" & Claire McCaskill: Does Claire Think we are Stupid?

The fact that Claire McCaskill was elected to the Senate proves education in Missouri needs improvement. Senator McCaskill has been dancing around the healthcare bill vote claiming she won’t vote for any healthcare bill that’s not deficit neutral. Does anyone in Missouri understand how ignorant this is. As long as the United States continues to produce debt, every penny more they spend that doesn’t go towards paying the debt back is clearly not deficit neutral.

Senator McCaskill was on the news this morning claiming that she was strongly concerned about the deficit. All this after voting for stimulus and TARP money, Senator McCaskill says she feels strongly about the deficit, a deficit she continues to add too. Does she really think we are that stupid? She is a blithering idiot! Give me a break Senator McCaskill, but you can’t be serious that you are concerned about the deficit when you play the little lost love sick puppy dog that follows Barack Obama’s spending plans with a yes vote. Senator McCaskill, have you seen what Obama has done to the deficit?

Deficit Neutral: What Claire really means is that if the federal government doesn’t have access to your pocket book to take all the federal government wants, then I won’t vote for it. Obviously, Senator McCaskill wants to raise our taxes to pay for a trillion dollar healthcare plan as well. Claire McCaskill also claims the Republicans are also writing the current bill. Really, Claire, you mean the same bill that even has Olympia Snow dropping interest? You think we don’t pay attention, do you Claire, but we know it is you who isn’t paying attention to Missourians.

Claire McCaskill claims no one is getting a raise in America because of healthcare cost. This it total economic stupidity, not to mention Claire got a raise and an increase in expense account spending over the last twelve months. If anyone isn’t getting a raise in America, it’s because the value of our checks are going down thanks to Obama and Timothy Geithner printing more money. Don’t you get it? When inflation occurs because there is too much currency in circulation, it lowers the value of your take home pay. Who’s come up with this brilliant economic plan to print money and spend even more money? That’s right Claire’s own Democratic party under the leadership of Obama. I am not getting a raise this year, and even if I was getting a raise, it wouldn’t really be a raise since the value of a dollar continues to drop. Thanks Claire!

Claire said she doesn’t feel like Congress has done a good job of explaining the bill. You mean Congress has even read enough of it to explain it? They’ve been working on this bill for months, they’ve had plenty of time to explain it. The fact is Claire and other key Democrats in Congress don’t want to explain it to us. They don’t want us to know the truths about the bill, and they continue to dance around it on purpose. She is an idiot and any American who can’t see the lack of intellect coming from Senator McCaskill’s chubby little skull has to be an idiot too. Missouri, she really makes us look like the dumbest state in the union.

Missouri really needs to boot Claire’s fat ass out of Washington, and that’s putting it nicely. She remains an embarrassment to the state.

Levi Johnston Really Pushing for Palin Attention and His 15 Minutes

Levi Johnston is really working for his 15 minutes of fame, and it sounds like he is lying to get it. He claims Sarah Palin would call her baby "retarded." I know some of you Palin haters will applaud, but give me a break. What mother would call her baby retarded?

If you are a critical thinker, then you should realize Levi tells the media that he knows things about Sarah Palin that would destroy her, but he doesn't want to go there. Why is that Levi? Are you waiting for the National Enquirer to pave your way in life through your lies? I bet when they get their checkbook out, you will hear this little scum bag open his mouth. Whatever they give Johnston for the information, they will obviously have just bought a large load of BS.

Johnston is a young boy trying to get rich because he is the father of Palin's grandchild. He rode his 15 minutes of fame through the campaign, and now he is trying to capitalize on it. He is the lowest form of scum. Trust me, when the checkbooks come out, this little jerk will talk. Until then, he will continue to say I know things about them that will destroy them. It's all about the money, and if he best be aware of libel laws in this country.

Tax Payer Funded World Series Tickets and Trip

Even before Michelle Obama embarrassed the country with the tacky outfit and shoes that she wore out to the mound to shake the hand of a real American hero, tax payers were bending over and taking it again from General Motors. (By the way, did that make anyone else sick? Do we need to see Michelle's ass tightly covered in near spandex pants? She is the first lady, not the first 'girlfriend.' Then there was the moment she shook hands with the Army Ranger--you know, Michelle Obama who was never proud of America until the day Obama gained political.)

If you didn't catch it, the subsidized company known as Government Motors, or General Motors for those still in denial, is not only using tax payer dollars to be the official car of the 2009 World Series, they are giving away a trip to the 2010 World Series. As General Motors prepares the deposit slip for their third bailout, I can't help but think hard working Americans are paying for General Motors gimmick.

Of course, this is a company that was weeks from going out of business. Every time I turn on a sporting event, they are the heaviest advertiser. Of course, the government has guaranteed payment of their commercials. This means we are paying for General Motors commercials. If we are paying for their commercials, and they continue to get billions from the treasury, we are obviously funding GM's World Series trip and tickets giveaway. It just makes me sick every time I think of the whiny GM corporate officers with their hands out stealing from the American people after mismanaging their company, and now they play with our money as the national debt rises. They are just creating more reasons for me never to buy another one of their cars.

Women Packing in Chicagoland: Hand Gun Sales Up as Crime Rises in Chicago

Apparently Chicago's ignorant gun laws aren't stopping one group of Chicago residents from purchasing handguns to protect themselves. As violence increases in Chicago due to the economy, women are purchasing and packing to protect themselves in the city.

In case you are unaware, handguns are illegal in the city of Chicago. The penalties of you are caught with one include a lot of harassment from the city and usually some jail time without any questions asked. Obviously, Chicago's oppressive gun laws aren't enough to stop women who are concerned for their safety and realize a 911 call means waiting far too long for Chicago PD to show up.

National Shooting Sports Foundation says about 48 percent of their classes they give to teach gun safety and techniques are now women. Josie Santiago went through the course.

"It's better that you know how to use it," Santiago said. "You know, take the class, take the course, protect yourself." (Josie, watch out for Daley's big brother machine. Mayor Daley is not your friend.)

States Need to Follow Kansas' Lead

Use the Tenth Amendment to defeat the government takeover of healthcare. Forget about the threats of having federal money cut off to your state. The government will soon be involved in every aspect of our lives if we don't stand up now.

Some people in Kansas obviously gets it. State senator Mary Pilcher-Cook from Shawnee is working with other members of the Kansas legislator to pass a constitutional amendment in their state exempting Kansas from the healthcare takeover bill. The amendment would give Kansas the right to opt out of the healthcare reforms in debate for Congress.

Where's all those state senators and state representatives who pushed sovereignty bills in their states earlier this spring? It's time to bat again.

The Scariest Halloween Ever

It appears Halloween will be the day the new healthcare bill will be officially released from the floors of Congress. Scary! What's even scarier is the House is planning on voting on the bill as early as next week. You know what this means, Pelosi and the rest of the members will be too busy passing out Halloween candy over reading the bill. Once again, it will be up to the real patriots in this country to read this bill quickly and get the evil spirits exposed as soon as possible.

By the way, if you are a kid who dares trick or treat at Pelosi's house. Be prepared for one scary face to meet you at the door, and be prepared for a trick. I know a trick is what is in store for the rest of America.

Chicago's Business Tax Bounty Program

When are Chicago business owners going to say enough to the Daley administration? A new plan by the City of Chicago poses a great threat to Chicago businesses. Business will now have to worry if every effort they make to pay Chicago’s ridiculously high business taxes are 100% by the rules. One wrong step, and as you know tax codes are complicated, could end up with a competitor or an employee turning a business in.

What’s in it for the employee or the competitor? The city is offering a cash bounty for people to turn in people who make mistakes or cheat on their taxes. Boy, does this open a can of worms. In fact, in a period of high-employment, many businesses will need to consider if an employee they are hiring is paid by a competitor to search for information so they can be turned into Mayor Daley’s machine.

All forms of government continue to successfully turn American against American. This seems like the latest ploy to do just that. What a better way to embarrass and possibly put your competitor out of business than attempt to prove they aren’t paying their share. As small businesses across Chicago struggle in these tough economic times, they now have to worry about increasing their accounting budgets all so Daley gets what Daley feels is his. This is just another example of the greedy hand of government pushing more business towards to point of putting out of business signs on their doors. This of course means less jobs for the people.

Businesses must worry about so many tax laws, that it would be easy to catch a business not paid up to the dime. There’s federal, state, and local taxes. There’s property taxes. Some states and communities even have inventory taxes (I know Indiana taxes on inventory.) There’s sales taxes to collect and pay. It’s a headache for most business owners, and now we have to worry about neighbors, employees, and competitors turning you in in Chicago. For competitors that think this is the way to play, Karma is a very nasty thing.

One Nation Under God, Unless You are at Home Depot

Trevor Keezor used to work for Home Depot. For over a year, he worked behind a cash register at the Home Depot in  Okeechobee, Florida, wearing a “one nation under God, indivisible” American flag button on his orange apron. Nothing was said to the man from the time he began wearing it in March 2008, until Keezor began bringing his Bible to work and reading it during his break. It was only after he began bringing the Bible to work that Home Depot management made an issue of his button.

"I've worn it for well over a year and I support my country and God," Keezor said. "I was just doing what I think every American should do, just love my country."

The company says expressing such personal beliefs, you know word from the American Pledge of Allegiance, simply isn’t acceptable in their stores. I am telling Home Depot then the paper I carry that reads “In God We Trust” will no longer be spent in their stores. I would simply hate to make a personal statement in their stores as a consumer.

I will never shop another Home Depot store. Ace Hardware will get my money from here on out.

"This associate chose to wear a button that expressed his religious beliefs. The issue is not whether or not we agree with the message on the button," Craig Fishel, a Home Depot ASSociate said. "That's not our place to say, which is exactly why we have a blanket policy, which is long-standing and well-communicated to our associates, that only company-provided pins and badges can be worn on our aprons."

This is our country Mr. Fishel, and we should promote the country that has provided the founders of Home Depot the great opportunity to succeed. Besides, Mr. Fishel, Keezor’s brother is preparing to serve a second tour of duty in Iraq. There is obviously a conviction in that button for country and the love of a family member serving our great country. You allowed this behavior for over a year, and suddenly it’s an issue? I am not buying it, nor will I buy from the Home Depot.

The Obama Children Politicized

For political show, the Obama girls finally got their flu shots. Questions were asked earlier this week why the Obama girls had not received the H1N1 vaccine, especially over concerns over safety of the vaccine.

The girls received their vaccine, and the White House released a press release. Obama didn’t want it to appear his girls got special treatment over other Americans when it came to receiving the vaccine. Of course the question remains—did the Obama girls get the actual vaccine, or is this just more political theater from the Obama administration? Now they put the Obama girls on stage to perform—it really makes you wonder.

I am not buying Obama didn’t want it to appear like they were being treated special. Obama has made a point to show the special privileges of living in the White House under the rule of Obama. Every week, while more Americans lose their jobs, there’s another story of a huge White House party, another trip to Europe with shopping privileges, more vacations, more golf. The Obama White House has never worried about appearing like they are receiving special privileges before. Why now?

Going Down the Wrong Track: Obama Leading America

For the first time in Obama’s presidency, Americans feel we are on the wrong track. A recent Wall Street Journal Poll taken on October 22, 2009, shows that 52% of Americans believe we are on the wrong road under Obama’s leadership. With these numbers come another poll that shows Americans are less than impressed with Obama’s handling of the economy. Last month, the same poll found that 51% of Americans thought Obama is doing a good job handling the economy. In October, that number has dropped to 47%.

We are watching a rock star dissected into the nothingness many of us knew Obama hid underneath the bright lights of the campaign stage.

General Motors Woes Have Just Begun: Obama Continues to Give Impression Cars are Evil

As news for a third General Motors bailout hits the presses this week, General Motors may have more trouble ahead. The problem comes from the idiots running General Motors from Washington—not Auburn Hill, Michigan.

Obama spoke at the Solar Energy Center yesterday in Florida. After Obama praised Florida Power and Light, he then attacked the industry that is going to receive billions more of your money. Sure, it may not come off as an attack on the surface, but when you look at the implications and woes General Motors face, you know the company indirectly ran by the Obama administration, it appears Obama made an ignorant comment that wasn’t designed to help the company he continues to feel the need to throw money at.

This plant will produce enough power to serve the entire city of Arcadia. Its construction was a boost to your local economy, creating nearly 400 jobs in this area. And over the next three decades, the clean energy from this plant will save 575,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions, which is the equivalent of removing more than 4,500 cars from the road each year for the life of the project.

Think about that: 45,000 cars from the road each year for the life of the project.

Now first we need to know if that is 4,500 cars or 45,000 cars. Obviously the teleprompter did Dear Leader a great disservice. If you are trying to save a car company, why do you use the analogy of removing cars of the road. Doesn’t GM need to put more of their cars on the road to survive?

We know coming across the pond, that meat is the new enemy in the global warming debate. Obama could have used cows instead of cars. He could have used many other examples over cars. He continues to demonize cars, and yet he continues to work to save General Motors with billions of your dollars. You can’t deny in his comments that the car is obviously evil in his world. Obviously, the people now in charge of GM think their own product is evil. Not a good business strategy!

13% vs. Obama's 8%

The average health insurance premiums adds 13% to employers’ payrolls around the country. You know, this is the healthcare that you want and have come to trust, and it’s why you negotiated or tolerate a smaller take-home pay from your employer. If Obama gets his way with the healthcare option, and fortunately that’s still questionable, employers will immediately see a 5% overall average savings.

How’s this you ask? Well, you may think your employer is quite proud of the benefits they offer you, but they cut from their profits. Since many Americans work for small businesses who work on tight profit margins, they are always looking for ways to cut costs to maintain their profits.

Under the Obama healthcare plan, Employers will be forced to pay an 8% payroll tax to cover the national (Obama) insurance plan if they don’t cover your healthcare benefits. Obviously, an employer is going to realize 8% is less than 13%, and adds to instant savings. Most small businesses will opt to drop their employee healthcare plans and force employees to the government plan.

This may sound like a good idea at first, but employers need to be warned this is a tax on their payroll. While they may see instant savings, this is a tax. Once the cost overruns start with the Obama healthcare plan mess, you can count on this 8% increasing, and there is a good chance it could rise beyond 13%. Instant gratification often feels good in the short term, but remember further down the road it usually ends up biting.

National Endowment of the Art's Insulting Opinion on Great Literature

Barack Obama personally picked Rocco Landesman to chair the National Endowment of the Arts. It’s no wonder considering Landesman laughable critique towards all the great literature in the world. Consider his comments on literature:

This is the first president that actually writes his own books since Teddy Roosevelt and arguably the first to write them really well since Lincoln. If you accept the premise, and I do, that the United States is the most powerful country in the world, then Barack Obama is the most powerful writer since Julius Caesar. That has to be good for American artists.

Now Julias Caesar was a great author. That’s not up for debate. This idea that Obama is the most powerful writer since Julias Caesar is just laughable, and it further proves if Obama farts, it’s the greatest fart in the history of great farts.

I myself am a student of literature. My college degree consists of many credit hours of nights dedicated to hundreds of pages of reading great literary works of great minds from William Shakespeare, Christopher Marlowe, Geoffrey Chaucer, Ernest Hemmingway, Mark Twain, Flannery O’Connor, Walt Whitman, Emily Dickerson, and so many others. Great titles like Beowulf, King Arthur, the Canterbury Tales, and Dr. Faustus have inspired and shaped centuries of people with their wisdom, and this dunce handpicked by Dear Leader himself insults these great titles and authors all because Obama leads “the most powerful country in the world.” (Does he realize Obama is destroying that title.)

I am sorry, but the United States’ greatness doesn’t make Obama great. It doesn’t make him a great writer. It doesn’t make him a great leader. It doesn’t even make him a great person. It especially doesn’t make him great automatically. This kind of thinking is dangerous and it needs to stop. Greatness comes from accomplishments, and we are still waiting for those accomplishments and the judges of history to claim he is truly great. Let’s not insult great men and women all because of the position Obama managed to gain. Unfortunately, I think we all know Obama’s books will be a part of every survey of American literature class from her on out. Norton has probably already made the deal to include Obama’s works in its anthology.

Mark McGwire Returns to the St. Louis Cardinals

Tony La Russa’s successor may have been handpicked by La Russa himself. There was some doubt if La Russa would return to the St. Louis Cardinals after the Dodgers swept them in the play offs.

La Russa agreed to one more year with the Cardinals, but failed to speculate beyond the 2010 season. With his announcement, La Russa brought a surprise to St. Louis. Former Cardinal slugger Mark McGwire will serve on the coaching staff for the 2010 season. McGwire will serve as the hitting coach during the season, but one has to wonder if La Russa has returned the embarrassed slugger to baseball to restore his image with the possibility of training him to manage his own team. Big Mac remains popular with baseball’s best fans—the people of St. Louis, and despite the controversy surrounding McGwire’s image with steroids, his name still remains on I-70 as a celebration for his 70 home run season.

It should be interesting to watch to see if Big Mac has what it takes to coach in the big leagues.
