Feds Busting Garage Sales and Resell Shops
So, when I opened up a story raising awareness of how the federal government is cracking down on garage sales, second hand resellers, and charity stores like the Goodwill, my blood began to boil. Yes, you heard me right. Your next garage sale conducted in your little community may be subject to a federal investigation.
Why you ask, because the federal government is making the case you need to be knowledgeable of what you sell. If your kid's bicycle has a recall that you weren't aware of, you are violating the law and the feds want to crack down.
"Those who resell recalled children's products are not only breaking the law, they are putting children's lives at risk," said Inez Tenenbaum, the recently confirmed chairwoman of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Obviously years could go by, and you may be sick of it sitting in your garage. The federal government expects you to go through your garage sale inventory and assure nothing is subject to recall. The federal government is growing its bureaucracy by working with E-Bay and stores like Goodwill to ensure there aren't recalled goods in their stores. E-Bay is having to purchase a database that will deny listings.
As for the average Joe opening his garage to a bunch of strangers to negotiate down to the lowest price, this law might be hard to enforce, with the exception Obama is increasing the size of the agency that will search for violators by 11.4%, so I guess part of Obama's job creation is the new position of Garage Sale Inspector General. The possibility still may exist that if you part with it for a dime, it may end up costing you a small fortune with whatever fees the government decides to penalize you. Here's a better idea, save the products, and heat your house with them when cap and trade finally kicks in and you can't afford your electricity bill come winter.
Would One Damn Liberal Show Me Where They Get There is a Right to Healthcare
I asked to see her stickers, and she asked me if I wanted one. I said now, but I asked her where this belief there is a right to healthcare comes from. She said it is just a right.
Where does it stem from? I handed her a Constitution and asked her to find it. She said she couldn't find it in there.
She then explained we send representatives to Congress to pass laws and that's where the right comes from. Really, the right comes from a people we send to Washington.
Who did Jefferson say rights came from? From our creator.
Now there is a dumbed down segment of the population that believe rights are granted from the government. How sad is that! Listen lady handing out Obama stickers, you better come to the quick realization that the only thing the government does is take the rights from people, and they are doing it at a rapid pace. This of course was something she didn't want to hear, and walked away without justifying how politicians create rights.
Which leads me to believe, if a bunch of corrupt politicians say something is a right long enough in order to pass their agenda, those without common sense will quickly adopt it as truth. It's no wonder our public schools systems are failing. It's obviously by design. I would recommend some Thomas Jefferson followed by the Federalist Papers to those who cheered Claire McCaskill on today.
Bungalow Bill's Month in Review: August 2009

Obama's Afghanistan Mess
Obama, who spent a campaign making war promises to boost his support, now makes few comments about Afghanistan and its direction. In fact, it was quickly removed off the American radar until this month when a record number of US casualties occurred in the war. While Obama has been vacationing, seeing the Grand Canyon, and enjoying a Broadway night, the White House's comments, he doesn't seem interested in bringing down the force that had a huge influence on the attacks of 9/11. At least with Bush, we felt they had a reason to be there. Obama's war is on the private sector--not terrorism--and his inattention to creating a winning strategy is costing Americans their lives. (As we know, Americans who opposed Obama are the terrorist according to a Homeland Security report, and the White House has been given strict orders to stop using the terms war on terror and jihad.)
U.S. Army General Stanley McChrystal and the military are asking for a new strategy to win the war, but it's clear where Obama's focus remains--creating more big government. Given the little media attention to Afghanistan, Obama can skate free to focus on healthcare reform and his coming affirmative action agenda that will take place once the healthcare debate is over. Until he focuses on a winning strategy, America will be less safe.
Wii, Playstation, and X-Box Controllers May be Hazardous to Your Health
In fact, thanks the federal government's fear mongering over a flu that has killed a handful of people in the United States, I think we should start asking if we have the right to a bubble. I mean if we have the right to healthcare as some suggest, then a bubble should be included. Maybe we should just all become bubble people like the Bubble Boy on Seinfeld.
This fear mongering is getting ridiculous. I think George Carlin tried to warn us.

Report from Claire McCaskill Town Hall Meeting Springfield, MO
The questions hinting at discontent far outnumbered the questions showing a hint of support. Which further my belief that Missouri State professors gave extra credit points today. Yes, I know how the game is played. I earned my degree in 2006 from MSU, and earned quite a few extra credit points during the 2006 elections.
I learned quite a bit about Claire McCaskill today, and many things I have heard said or believe about McCaskill were reinforced. She used the Obama technique of answering questions--that is wear you out with a long winded parade that sounds like an answer but never really answers the actual question. In the middle you just nod off and she ends it with a smile.
When asked about a recent Rasmussen poll, McCaskill answered that she looks at a lot of special interest polls that give a variety of the public's opinion. Did you catch what I said? She said special interest. Rasmussen isn't special interest. It's an independent poll. That's the kind of answers McCaskill delivered today.
McCaskill claimed to be a deficit neutral Senator citing that she voted against the omnibus porkulus package while passing over the fact that she voted for the stimulus bill. I guess she is deficit neutral when she needs a lift in the polls.
McCaskill also believes promote the general welfare from the Constitution means new big government babysitting program. When asked about the Constitution, she actually commented that the Constitution says to provide welfare. Senator McCaskill, a government welfare program isn't promoting the general welfare of the people. In that portion of the Constitution, our forefathers knew more government keeps good men from producing good lives. You are to promote the general welfare by getting out of the way, not spending us into further debt through new government programs which will lead to more taxes robbing people of their ability to live a productive life.
The SEIU showed up. I asked them if they planned to beat anyone up today. They weren't amused. There presence was small, but they were still there handing out pre-printed signs.
I sat on the third row with some women I met in line who were active in the local Republican party. They were enthusiastically opposed to Obamacare.
The crowd got rowdy many times, and when Claire McCaskill used her Medicare comparison that she has used throughout the Missouri town halls, a man questioned her confidence by using a used car analogy which generated quite an applause. He said when I buy a used car and it turns out to be a lemon, I do what I can to keep the car running, but I don't go back to purchase a car from the same used car dealer. Much of the crowd gave the man a standing ovation.
My question wasn't asked as they randomly selected questions. Overall, I learned nothing from McCaskill today. She didn't answer any questions with direct answers, and I am not sure there were any soundbites worthy of the Rush Limbaugh show. I really felt like I wasted an hour of my life.
I do know that a bunch of women wearing Planned Parenthood t-shirts promoting a Web site Planned Parenthood has for the healthcare plan were a few rows behind me. If you believe abortion is going to be absent from this, I think you are sadly mistaken. They are working it.
I wanted to ask these college-aged women if they know who Margaret Sanger is. I doubt they realize their t-shirts promote an organization whose purpose once once to rid the world of blacks by controlling births in black communities in America. You see, it's that kind of ignorance that leads these kids into believing they are doing something noble without looking at the truth.
As I left, protesters lined the roads with signs. My opinion, and McCaskill wouldn't commit to an answer, is that she is voting for this thing regardless of what the people of Missouri want. She promised she would look at the bill to ensure that it doesn't remove the rights of the people, but she is obviously blinded to the words in the bill that do just that. If she was truthful, she would have been honest today instead of providing answers that dodged the question.
The Old Dogs Coming out to Support Obama: Bozo and Ozoneman Reunite in Tennessee
The last time these guys got together to support nationalized healthcare, the country voted Democrats out of office at a rate that was devastating. I am sure Obama is holding his breath knowing history is repeating itself.
My Question for Claire McCaskill Today
I have my question ready, and I am getting ready to head downtown to stand in line earlier than I planned.
Here's what I hope to get the chance to ask Senator McCaskill.
I recently moved to Springfield from Chicago where I watched the rise of Barack Obama from community organizer to state senator to the US Senate and onward to the White House. During his time in the Illinois State Senate, he opposed the Born Alive Infant Protection Act four times. Due to Obama’s past track record, I worry he doesn’t have the same respect for life that most Americans, like myself, have.
Given that:
1. the language in the House Bill, HR3200, calls for End of Life Counseling;
2. rising national debt and the limits posed by a federal budget now dependent on foreign loans and skeptical lenders; and
3. the President’s voting record as an Illinois state Senator;
can you tell me with absolute certainty that the public option won’t lead to rationing of health care?

Senator Harry Reid Presents His Christmas List at a Las Vegas Chamber of Commmerce Luncheon

A New Rasmussen Poll Shows Congress Has Got to Go
Nearly 60% of those polled say Congress is paid too much. I guess we probably won't have Congressional hearings on that though. I can't see these idiots actually treating their pay like we have seen them treat others in the private sector over what they are getting paid.

The Top Ten Things You Need to Remember About Ted Kennedy
1. He was caught cheating at Harvard when he attended it. He was expelled twice, once for cheating on a test, and once for paying a classmate to cheat for him.
2. While expelled, Kennedy enlisted in the Army, but mistakenly signed up for four years instead of two. Oops! The man can't count to four! His father, Joseph P. Kennedy, former U.S. Ambassador to England (a step up from bootlegging liquor into the US from Canada during prohibition), pulled the necessary strings to have his enlistment shortened to two years, and to ensure that he served in Europe, not Korea , where a war was raging. No preferential treatment for him! (like he charged that President Bush received).
3. Kennedy was assigned to Paris , never advanced beyond the rank of Private, and returned to Harvard upon being discharged. Imagine a person of his "education" NEVER advancing past the rank of Private!
4. While attending law school at the University of Virginia , he was cited for reckless driving four times, including once when he was clocked driving 90 miles per hour in a residential neighborhood with his headlights off after dark. Yet his Virginia driver's license was never revoked. Coincidentally, he passed the bar exam in 1959. Amazing!
5. In 1964, he was seriously injured in a plane crash, and hospitalized for several months. Test results done by the hospital at the time he was admitted had shown he was legally intoxicated. The results of those tests remained a "state secret" until in the 1980's when the report was unsealed. Didn't hear about that from the unbiased media, did we?
6. On July 19, 1969, Kennedy attended a party on Chappaquiddick Island in Massachusetts . At about 11:00 PM, he borrowed his chauffeur's keys to his Oldsmobile limousine, and offered to give a ride home to Mary Jo Kopechne, a campaign worker. Leaving the island via an unlit bridge with no guard rail, Kennedy steered the car off the bridge, flipped, and into Poucha Pond.
7. He swam to shore and walked back to the party, passing several houses and a fire station. Two friends then returned with him to the scene of the accident. According to their later testimony, they told him what he already knew - that he was required by law to immediately report the accident to the authorities.
Instead Kennedy made his way to his hotel, called his lawyer, and went to sleep. Kennedy called the police the next morning and by then the wreck had already been discovered. Before dying, Kopechne had scratched at the upholstered floor above her head in the upside-down car. The Kennedy family began "calling in favors", ensuring that any inquiry would be contained. Her corpse was whisked out-of-state to her family, before an autopsy could be conducted. Further details are uncertain, but after the accident Kennedy says he repeatedly dove under the water trying to rescue Kopechne and he didn't call police because he was in a state of shock. It is widely assumed Kennedy was drunk, and he held off calling police in hopes that his family could fix the problem overnight. Since the accident, Kennedy's "political enemies" have referred to him as the distinguished Senator from Chappaquiddick.
He pled guilty to leaving the scene of an accident, and was given a SUSPENDED SENTENCE OF TWO MONTHS. Kopechne's family received a small payout from the Kennedy's insurance policy, and never sued There was later an effort to have her body exhumed and autopsied, but her family successfully fought against this in court, and Kennedy's family paid their attorney's bills.. a "token of friendship"?
8. Kennedy has held his Senate seat for more than forty years, but considering his longevity, his accomplishments seem scant. He authored or argued for legislation that ensured a variety of civil rights, increased the minimum wage in 1981, made access to health care easier for the indigent, and funded Meals on Wheels for fixed-income seniors and is widely held as the "standard-bearer for liberalism". In his very first Senate roll, he was the floor manager for the bill that turned U.S. immigration policy upside down and opened the floodgate for immigrants from third world countries.
9. Since that time, he has been the prime instigator and author of every expansion of an increase in immigration, up to and including the latest attempt to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. Not to mention the pious grilling he gave the last two Bush Supreme Court nominees, as if he was the standard bearer for the nation in matters of "what's right".
10. He is known around Washington as a public drunk, loud, boisterous and very disrespectful to ladies. Must be a better description than "great American". "A blonde in every pond" is his motto.

Officer Wesley Cheeks Jr. Makes First Amendment Laws as He Goes
Officer Cheeks of Reston, Virginia obviously likes to make the law up as he goes, and apparently he feels it is his right to rewrite the First Amendment as he goes depending on who or what Cheeks worships. Notice signs at the rally say the same thing, but the one picture of the demagogue is in Joker makeup and one isn't. I wonder what would have happened if I showed up in my Mike Church Joker T-shirt--perhaps a one-way trip to a FEMA camp?
Cheeks says America isn't America anymore as he denies this man his first Amendment right on public property. It's really shameful that America has become a land of where you don't agree with someone and you have any authority, you can quickly deny their rights. Shame on you Officer Cheeks. I wonder since you don't agree the First Amendment exists in America, would Officer Wesley Cheeks Jr. throw a fit if someone denied him of the 13th Amendment? According to Cheeks this isn't America anymore, so I am guessing all these rights are thrown out under than logic. If I were Cheeks I would be worried under his logic that schools and churches have the right to own slaves. I of course don't advocate removing the 13th Amendment from the Constitution. I just find Officer Cheeks' words and actions very dangerous. Perhaps he should reconsider his ignorance.
Thanks for the tip MAInfo.

A Disgrace to Thomas Jefferson: The Obama Two Dollar Bill

Democrat Diane Watson Loves Communist Dictators like Castro
After attacking Rush Limbaugh at her town hall meeting last night, Watson praised Cuba. She provided a little history lesson about how Castro and Che robbed from the rich and gave to the poor. This is the Obama agenda, and Watson doesn't even try to cover her lust for these communist dictators who have violated human rights and robbed people of opportunity.
Don't listen to me. Listen to the words of this Representative who took an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States.
S733: Obama Internet Power Grab Could Have Serious Consequences to the Economy
At a moment’s notice, Barack Obama may soon have the power to shut down the internet. The language claims the power will be granted to the president for emergency purposes, the power in the wrong hands could have dire consequences to the economy.
Every day, billions of dollars are transferred over internet lines in the form of commerce, banking, and markets. Business have entire databases that run their business available over the internet to provide accessibility to remote offices and stores. Communication companies now use the internet to route telephone calls. Even the modern federal patient database will be powered over the internet. As I have discussed before, too many of our daily processes are dependent on an internet connection. Imagine the power a president has to gain more control of the people through such power. It’s as if Obama will be given the power of an electromagnetic pulse that will down the entire network at his discretion—all justified at the declaration of an emergency, whatever that may be.
Many have accused Obama of intentionally wrecking the free market economy, since many of his policies are big government friendly, free market crushing policies—like cap and trade which is guaranteed to cost Americans more jobs if passed. If it’s truly Obama’s will to bring down the American economy through a failure of the free market to establish the need for a philosophical change then handing him the equivalent of the new ‘nuclear button’ is a dangerous proposition.
Shutting down the internet may be one of the greatest but little thought of threats to the free market and American economy when you consider the scale and importance of the internet for life in America. This goes far beyond basic e-commerce with Amazon. We have put far too much trust in the Internet, and now it may come back to haunt us much like it haunted Iranian students earlier this year.
Many business could go under. In fact, many businesses who run on the ASP model better begin to think about the consequences if their customers are unable to use their services. As ASP is an application designed to run on the Web.
If Ted Kennedy Drove a Volkswagen He Would Be President Today

The ad reads:
It floats.
The way our body is built, we'd be surprised if it didn't. The sheet of flat steel that goes underneath every Volkswagen keeps out water, as well as dirt and salt and other nasty things that can eat away at the underside of a car. So it's watertight at the bottom. And everybody knows it's easier to shut the door on a Volkswagen after you've rolled down the window a little.
That proves it's practically airtight on top. If it was a boat, we could call it the Water Bug. But it's not a boat, it's a car.
And, like Mary Jo Kopechne, it's only 99 and 44/100 percent pure. So it won't stay afloat forever. Just long enough. Poor Teddy. If he'd been smart enough to buy a Volkswagen, he never would have gotten into hot water.
Ted Kennedy Loved Chappaquiddick Jokes
This is just sick. Ted Kennedy would ask friends if they had any new Chappaquiddick jokes. It's not amazing. It's sick. Mary Jo Kopechne died because of his actions that night at Chappaquiddick, and Kennedy enjoyed jokes about it. There wasn't anything funny surrounding that night just over 40 years ago. This is no hero America. Details of Kennedy's life prove he was a hateful, unpatriotic, and sick. Too many women were victims of this man and members of his family.
The Condom Caravan
West Virginia University has a new program for their students this year. The program is called the condom caravan. Students are encouraged to wrap their willies through the university’s discounted condom program. The Condom Caravan features 30 different kinds of rubbers to give the students variety to try something different. They sell the condoms for just 25 cents apiece. On Thrifty Thursdays, students can pick up condoms for a dime.
So the question I have, when a percentage of these condoms fail, will liberal at the school encourage the Abortion Express? I wouldn’t put it past them. Of course, in three years, if Obamacare goes through, the university won’t have to worry about offering such a program to the students. The federal government will be over reaching.
Yes, I know there is nothing about abortion coverage in HR3200, but there is nothing ruling it out either. Planned Parenthood has been rather quiet about the bill. You know it’s coming.
I think West Virginia University needs to focus on education and not encouraging students to have more sex.
S733: Obama Will Soon Gain Power To Take Over Internet and Shut it Down
Obama will soon have control of the entire Internet. The bill sponsored by Senator Jay Rockefeller, and co-sponsored by Olympia Snowe gives Obama emergency powers to shut down the Internet at moment’s notice. This gives Obama unprecedented control over the entire communications sector in the United States since many phone lines and other forms of communication are now routed through an Internet connection. We were warned this was coming, and now it’s closer to happening.
The 55-page bill gives the president emergency powers to seize computer networks around the country. This bill seems to have gained momentum with recent high-profile attacks on government computers, which leads a logical person to ask, where are the attacks really coming from.
Everywhere you look, there is a new radical government plan along with immediate instances to justify the bill’s existence. This bill could eventually be an attack on free speech which has been used well to fight Obama and his policies. A president that has the power to shut down the Internet has the power to hush up us right-wingers who expose who Obama really is. They are coming for us! You best be ready. I am scared about what I see in America. Obama, the Democrats, and some Republicans like Olympia Snowe are sinisterly evil. The government will soon have power to seize your computer. I am going to start moving my blog to pirate radio just like Hard Harry.

The Public Option and Municipal Water Systems: A Weak Argument for Obamacare
If I have another liberal come to my site and make the argument for healthcare using public services like water I think I am going to scream. The number one argument I have received against my opposition for the public option healthcare system is municipal water supplies, police, and fire departments are all socialist programs. Since part of socialism is controlling the means of production, it’s hard to deny that public water isn’t a socialist idea; but that doesn’t make their argument legitimate.
The fallacy in their argument arises from municipal water systems aren’t controlled by the federal government, nor are the police and fire departments. The Tenth Amendment which reads: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. The Constitution allows the states and the people the people the right to develop programs like municipal water service, but the Constitution clearly doesn’t give the Federal Government the same right.
The Obama healthcare plan goes beyond the limits of the Constitution by attempting to provide a healthcare system based on socialism where the government will control part of the means of production. They have no Constitutional authority to do so. They never had Constitutional authority to create Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid either. These programs violate the limits of government established in the Constitution, but Americans have accepted these programs because they are willing to sacrifice freedom because of the responsibility that comes from freedom for the illusion of a safety net. In other words, Americans have agreed to give up more of their freedom to receive a piddly retirement check rather than save and invest, and since the introduction of Social Security, Americans have irresponsibly lost their sense of frugality. Now some Americans want to surrender more of their freedoms because they think healthcare is a right.
The Tenth Amendment doesn’t outlaw public healthcare in the United States. The Constitution prevents the federal government from providing healthcare for the people of the United States. The Tenth Amendment gives each state the right to decide if it wants to provide a public healthcare system for its residents, just like it gives the states the right to drill wells and hook you up to the city water system. You are sadly mistaken if you want to use the city water examples as a reason the federal government should provide you healthcare, and frankly I am sick of hearing you liberal readers whine about healthcare and comparing it to a water system. Take your pathetic argument somewhere else. You aren’t going to win the argument here. By the way, why is it you liberal readers never want to leave a name with your city water socialist comments anyway?
If you want social medicine, you should be petitioning your state house not the federal government. You have that right, and your state has the right to provide it. You are barking up the wrong tree by thinking this is the job of the federal government.
Ted Kennedy isn't Exactly a Popular Figure Throughout America: The Democrat's Poor Marketing Plan
I find it funny Democrats are invoking the name Ted Kennedy to resurrect the healthcare bill in hopes of gaining support throughout America. Are they serious?
Don’t they know the Chappaquiddick drunk doesn’t have the love across the country that he has in liberal, socialist utopia known as Massachusetts and parts of the northeast. America doesn’t care about Ted Kennedy outside these parts, and once again we see Democrats wearing rose colored glasses through this cockamamie marketing plan that clearly shows Democrats are out of touch with Americans.
Placing Ted Kennedy’s name to this bill isn’t going to change popular opinion. The people who oppose this bill are freedom-loving people, and Ted Kennedy wasn’t a lover of freedom—except for the freedom of keeping him and his family out of jail after multiple attacks on various women throughout Teddy’s life. Kennedy himself is a symbol of the current mess in healthcare insurance—he battled to kill traditional insurance and exchange for the HMO.
The sad thing is we actually lost to their poor marketing efforts, but we can blame that on John McCain, who doesn’t even understand our own Constitution enough to realize Obama’s overreaching beyond the limits of the Constitution.
When I think of Ted Kennedy and healthcare, I think of a member of government who made it all about him and his survival in shallow water off a bridge in Chappaquiddick. The irony of this is Congress itself voted for their own survival while the rest of us drown in this mess known as the public option government healthcare plan.
HR 676: The Single Payer Congressional Plan
So as most of us have been dissecting HR3200, HR676, also known as Medicare for All, apparently is even worse. Here is HR676.

Rape: More Fond Memories of Ted Kennedy
Our story begins on March 30, 1991, when Senator Kennedy decided to have a night on the town with the young Kennedy boys, Patrick and William Kennedy Smith in Palm Beach, Florida. They decided to live it up in traditional Kennedy fashion at a bar called Au Bar.
At the bar, Smith would meet 27-year-old Testas Restaurant waitress, Michelle Cassone. They danced and drank. Smith was on his game that night. He also met Patricia Bowman, a 29-year-old single mother out with her girlfriend, Anne Weatherly Mercer. They soon went back with the Kennedy's compound in Florida.
Smith passed Cassone off to Patrick. She and Patrick stayed in the living room drinking wine. While they were drinking wine, Senator Kennedy came out with only an Oxford style dress shirt on. Cassone quickly become uncomfortable with Teddy's full money exhibition and asked to go outside. They sat along the ocean where Patrick reminded her of the importance of the Kennedy family. I am sure he didn't want Teddy's naked game exposed to the media.
Meanwhile, Smith and Bowman walked along the ocean. Smith decided to follow Uncle Teddy's path and strip off his clothes, where he jumped into the ocean. Bowman decided it was in her best interest to head back to the house. As Smith saw her leave, he ran after her, tackled her, and allegedly raped her. After Smith violated her, she ran back to the house, called her friend Mercer to pick her up, and went to the Palm Beach police station. A Palm Beach officer said he was 99% sure she was telling the truth.
The rape made national news the next day, but it was obvious the fix was in. The police messed up the investigation, and the Kennedys weren't bothered. The police also didn't question anyone at the Au Bar. Senator Kennedy chose not to return any calls to the investigators.
Two months later, in typical Ted Kennedy fashion, over a 1000 pages of paperwork showed the Kennedy family stonewalled investigators. The documents showed Ted and Patrick Kennedy had clearly lied to the police about the actions that night. Of course, we know by this time, Kennedy was good at lying to the police when women were involved. Remember, he had a little incident with a bridge. Ted even had an FBI agent lie about where he was that night. William Barry, the agent, said he had taken Teddy to the airport, but Kennedy's flight didn't leave until the next day. It became apparent, once again the Kennedys were hiding something and another woman was going to be the victim of Ted Kennedy's feeling he and his family are above the law.
Throughout the case, Smith showed no real conscience towards his action. He even released a photo to the press of him and his new Labrador retriever. During the trial, more women came forward claiming they were assaulted by Smith, but Smith maintained the sex was consensual. Bowman never backed down from her story no matter how much pressure the Kennedy family placed on her. In the end, in traditional Kennedy form, Smith was acquitted.
Smith would be accused of sexual assault again by Audra Soulias, who worked with Smith in 1999. Kennedy is obviously a disease that spreads through the generations--a disease that gives a member of the false belief that a name and the money places you above the law.

Please Protect Us From Ourselves Federal Government: Gruesome Cigarette Warnings Coming

The Banking Powerplay is On: Bigger and Bigger Banks
Of course, the world power is often found in currency, and we know the United States government has made it hard for these larger banks to pay back their TARP funds giving the US government more control over the big banks.
Now today, as we add a couple more failed banks making the total of 81 failed banks this year, of Bank United warns a thousand banks will go under in the next two years. He cites these are all smaller banks--their assets will be consumed by the larger banks. Before too long only a handful of banks will exist--all with ties to the Federal Government.
“Government money has propped up the very large institutions as a result of the stimulus package,” Kanus said.
If the federal government has TARP funds hanging over the heads of these larger banks, who have used government money to purchase the smaller banks, we are going to see a system where it will be hard to use money without more interference from what is becoming an increasingly oppressive government. You mix that with the fact that the national patient database will contain your financial information, and it's easy to see financially you are going to have little privacy from the US government.
I think Americans should be concerned about what is going in with banks currently, and today's prediction isn't good news. I have to believe he is probably going to be correct since the government has picked its favorites and is looking to have more control over the entire banking industry. The saddest thing about it, the US government is to blame and we let it happen because of the easy money made possible by the United States government.
Don't Inject Me The Swine Flu Song: Rap Questions Government's Swine Flu Intentions
Isn't it interesting the lack of trust Americans have for their government in 2009. All the while the government continues down their rhetorical road of scare tactics claiming the swine flu is going to cause mass devastation. It fizzled in the spring with similar warnings, and now Americans have more doubts. To me, it all seems like a ploy to pass Obamacare and possibly increase Obama's poll numbers. Obama needs to look like a hero instead of dolt. I have no doubts Obama will go out of his way to use it to get his radical agenda passed.
Missouri House Moves to Investigate Origins of Modern Militia Movement Report
Missouri State Representatives Bob Dixon and Jim Guest along with other members of the state house, are having an investigation to find out who is responsible for Missouri’s Modern Militia Movement Report. The hearing will take place on August 31, 2009, at the Grove Meeting Room. The meeting room is part of the Grandview Community Center, 13500 Byars Road, Grandview, MO 64030.
The state’s House Web site has a number for anyone who wants to give testimony, 573-751-9809.
As you know, Missouri led the way in the release of multiple terrorism reports that targeted right-wing causes across the nation. The report led to a Ron Paul associate being harassed at the St. Louis airport, and Missourian Josh Carter being harassed by state police (MOHP). Accusations of Governor Jay Nixon failing to meet the requirements of Missouri's Sunshine law followed as his office didn't cooperate with requests to release documents about the report.
Censorship in Congress: Cap and Tax Denied by Democratic Run Franking Office
The Franking office is like the Postal Service for Congress. Congress gets to send mail to the constituents without postage. It’s called franking. As you guessed, the franking office is run by the Democrats.
Republican members are complaining that many of their newsletters and other materials are being censored. Congressman John Culberson reported his newsletter contained the words cap and tax. His newsletter was denied by the franking office, reminding you once again this office is run by Democrats. Culberson had to write seven drafts before his last newsletter the Franking office approved the newsletter. Other Republicans have reported the same.
A representative for the franking office claims the mail going through the franking office is not to be used for political advocacy. Oh really. I bet that has never been enforced for any piece of mail Nancy Pelosi has sent out.
So now we are finding out Democrats are so frustrated by the will of the people, the free speech, and the opposition over Obama’s agenda that they are going as far as censoring Republicans in Congress who are looking to communicate with their constituents. It really is amazing. Just ten months ago Democrats bragged the Republican party was dying, but with each passing day, it looks like it may be the Democrats who beat Republicans to the final breath and they are doing it by denying Constitutional freedoms.
Census in Schools: US Government Wants Kids to Encourage Parents to Answer Census

I have shared my frustrations and lack of desire to cooperate with the US Census Bureau and their Survey of Business Owners and Self-Employed People. As you know, my contacts with the Census employees have returned few answers and no Constitutional proof that I am required to fill out anything beyond the basic head count. Now, those same employees may have help from the unlikeliest of sources to get you to answer your census information.
Children are going to be indoctrinated by the US Census bureau thanks to a partnership with those other centers of indoctrination known as public schools. Census in Schools is a program in which the Census Bureau works with superintendents, principals, and teachers to spread the message, “the Census is coming and here's why everyone should care.” Now I care! I care because the government once again looks to children to do their dirty work.
The Census Bureau is going to send educational brainwashing materials to the nation’s classroom all to encourage children to get their parents to fill out the Census. Hey who cares America’s math and science test scores are down—we have a head count to perform.
The packet includes posters, teaching guides, maps and lesson plans, and every school in the United States is going to blessed with this big government invasion of your disctrict. 118.000 schools and 56 million students will be exposed to what may be the most corrupt census in US history. Remember Acorn is working this one, and they come equipped with GPS to log the coordinates of your front door.
"It's great to reach the children because children are such strong voices in their homes," says Renee Jefferson-Copeland, chief of the Census schools program. "In households that are linguistically isolated, they can express the information to their parents."
In other words, it’s great because the government is going to have more influence over your children. This is wrong. Our teachers need to focus on teaching the basics and not the politics of the census. I’d recommend everyone threaten their school by pulling your children out of class during Census day.
In 2000, teachers had to request educational materials, but as you know a lot has changed in ten years, and government’s oppressive hand is influencing every aspect of our lives. Now they are forcing teachers to take the information. The Census Bureau will also be working with PBS with a message to appear on Sesame Street.
August Frost in New England Won't be Enough to Prevent More Obama Lies
I wonder if Obama’s vacation will change is mind on the misguided science of global warming. Temperatures just north of where Obama is staying are hitting the upper thirties, and it’s not even September yet. Some parts of New England are receiving frost warnings already. Somehow I doubt Obama will be swayed, because the debate isn’t about truthful science it’s about the redistribution of wealth.
As noted earlier today, the Obama budget deficit, which was corrected last week, isn’t being truthful with the American people. The deficit is actually $10 trillion, but the Obama administration is already counting the income from the cap and trade bill, which is held up in the Senate, to make the news look better than what it really is. It’s obvious, from the details now emerging about the debt projection, Obama isn’t going to lose on the cap and trade debate, and Americans are about to pay the price of bad, politically motivated science.
While Mother Nature is proving scientist wrong with cooler summers and longer winters, which Obama is obviously experiencing on vacation, Obama and the Democrats prove once again global warming is about reaching deeper into your pocket. No matter how much frost is in New England tonight, it’s not going to be enough to freeze Obama’s mouth from telling more lies.
The Waitress Sandwich: More Reflections on the Life of Ted Kennedy
Now is a time to reflect back on the moments—the moments that made Ted Kennedy a Kennedy. These are the stories the media won’t discuss during this national time of mourning. Yesterday, we looked back on how Kennedy plotted with the Soviet Union. Today, we are going to take a look at the great waitress sandwich incident.
It was 1985, and the Kennedy family watched the importance of their family drown during the Reagan Revolution. Reagan has just won reelection, and Kennedy’s plot to work with the Soviet Union to defeat Reagan failed. It was a time for Teddy to turn to booze and Kennedy style womanizing.
Along with Chris Dodd, Senator Kennedy was out on a night on the town with their dates. In legendary Ted Kennedy fashion, the booze flowed into bottomless cups, and when their dates got up from their table at La Brasserie, an innocent waitress soon became another Ted Kennedy victim.
Kennedy picked the waitress up and threw her upon a table as the crystal candlesticks and champagne glasses fell to the floor. Kennedy picked her off the table and threw the woman down upon Senator Dodd’s lap. Then Kennedy mounted the woman and began humping her like a Mississippi leg hound.
The waitress screamed get off of me. As Kennedy begged the woman to get him off.
When another waitress entered the room, Kennedy corrected himself. Both Kennedy and Dodd quickly left the restaurant with their dates after the incident.
What a swell guy! Just another day in a family plagued with rape allegations.
Claire McCaskill Challenges Missourians to Fire Her, so Let's Fire Her
Section 431 A of HR3200 the Healthcare Bill: Your Tax Records Become Part of Your Medical Record
More details are coming out on Obamacare, or is that Kennedycare? The most recent controversy surrounds Section 431. It says says that the IRS must divulge taxpayer identity information, including the filing status, the modified adjusted gross income, the number of dependents, and "other information as is prescribed by" regulation.
Why is your tax data required. Two reasons: the first is they want to know that you can afford the treatment, because treatment isn't going to be free like the left has misled people to believe.
Secondly, I can’t help but think this is going to be part of the criteria that defines Americans as useful contributor to society (pay a large tax bill) or as a useless eater when it comes time to determining what care they will receive. If you are a huge tax contributor, you will be moved to the front of the line. If you are old and pay few taxes, I am guess your chances of receiving healthcare just went down the drain.
Maurice Schwenkler: Transgendered Operative Vandal
When I first saw the Maurice Schwenkler story, I asked are they sure his name isn’t Marie. As it turns out I was justified at my attempt at humor. The Democratic operative turns out to be a transgendered vandal. So the question arises, will Americans be forced into sensitivity training to discover all the victimization in Maurice/Mary’s life that has driven this individual to destroy images of Barack Obama that were displayed in the window at the Colorado? Make Maurice/Marie a victim in America, and the sympathy will win his freedom from jail. It goes on everyday.
Register For Claire McCaskill's Springfield Town Hall Meeting
Senator Claire McCaskill is asking people to register for her town hall meeting; however, registering doesn’t ensure you a seat in the town hall meeting. The meeting is Monday, August, 31, 2009, at the Gillioz Theater in Springfield, MO. The registration link is http://mccaskill.senate.gov/springfield083109/.
One has to wonder why you have to register if it it’s a first come-first seated event. Could it be to get people on the Senator’s mailing list? Could it be to make sure there is an interest in the event? OR could it be they are screening the crowd and running background checks on those who register? It just doesn’t make sense to ask people to register and after they click submit, they find out they have go get there early to get a seat.
Don’t let any of this detour you if you oppose this healthcare plan. Democrats are rallying around the death of Ted Kennedy to get this thing passed, even though Teddy himself would never lower himself to receive the lesser care Democrats expect to give the people. The battle for healthcare isn’t over, and knowing they have plans to get Cap and Trade through once this is over, our voices need to be louder in opposition.
More Spin on Obama Economic News
No growth in the second quarter, actually a decrease of 1%, and the Obama administration is celebrating. Remember the first quarter saw a decrease of over 6% in growth. Considering this, we have not moved forward and there still is a net loss of 7% growth under Obama despite the spin.
Once again, the are celebrating no major increases this week in unemployment, and actually cite less people are making claims. This doesn’t mean there are more jobs; after all, your unemployment benefits eventually run out, which is probably what we are seeing in these numbers.
Yesterday, Bluegrass Pundit reported the CBO is predicting 2.3 million additional jobs lost during 2010. The Obama administration continue this charade the economy is improving, but they are showing no conclusive proof that is indeed true.
Turning Ted Kennedy into the Gipper
Ironic, the one president Ted Kennedy tried to bring down by making a deal with the Soviet Union is the one president they are stealing a popular slogan. Yes, Democrats have stolen Ronald Reagan’s ‘win won for the Gipper’ and rewarded it to use as rhetoric for the current healthcare debate. Democrats are screaming, ‘win one for Kennedy’ as Democrats continue to politicize the death of the late Chappaquiddick drenched Senator for a healthcare plan that would have set Ted Kennedy out to die ten months ago.
K-Mart's Layaway Sees Increase in School Supplies: The Dishonesty of the Associated Press
The Obama economy is so bad, the number one layaway product at K-Mart are school supplies. That’s right, cash strapped families are making a minimum deposit on school supplies and asking K-Mart to hold the items until they can afford to pay them off. Once they pay them off, consumers take the school supplies home. We aren’t talking back-to-school clothes either. We are talking pencils, pens, and protractors. (The plus of these actions is they aren’t using credit cards like the government begs them to do to get the economy rolling.) I found this story on the AP.
Why do I point this out, because the AP is so intellectually dishonest, they will tell you the economy is getting better on one page while celebrating Obama; yet, report Americans are so cash strapped because the economy is so bad that Americans are reduced to putting school supplies on layaway so they can eventually afford pencils, pens, and protractors for their kids.
The Truth About Obama's $9 Trillion Federal Deficit Projection
The Obama $9 trillion federal deficit projection is conservative. Mike Church revealed on his show, the number is figured under the presumption Congress passes tax and kill, I mean the cap and trade law passes. This means Congress is ready to pass this. They are just waiting for the right time to complete the passage of cap and trade, which means this deficit estimate includes the collection of $1200 plus in additional energy taxes Americans are going to pay to light and heat their homes. The projection includes $640 billion in carbon tax collections.
The Obama deficit is actually $10 trillion, because there is another $200 billion Congress plans to collect after the vote to increase taxes on international businesses. Do you think all these taxes are going to help the economy? Of course not. It’s just giving Congress more to spend.
Let’s not forget the Bush tax cuts are set to expire next year, which means all Americans are going to be paying more taxes when they expire next year. In other words, Obama is indirectly raising your taxes. You think the economy sucks now—just wait until all these new taxes start robbing Americans of more disposable income.
This means the average amount spent per American household under Obama is $33,000. This is unforgivable.
