Democrats Too Liberal According to Gallup Poll
According the latest Gallup Poll, 46% of Americans claim this current bunch of Democrats are too liberal. Which is up seven points since the poll was taken last year. Now, here's the scary part of the poll. Eight percent of those polled claim the Democrats are too conservative. I happen to think that Obama himself may have been part of the eight percent that were polled.
Something tells me this time next year when the poll is increase, there will be another seven point jump citing that Democrats are too liberal--if of course we still have free speech left to call them the L word.
One Man, Many Taxes, 365 Days Half Way
Well, we are wrapping up month six. We are half way through the year. So far I have paid over $8,700 in taxes this year. This is about $1,300 less than what I predicted when I set out tracking every penny I paid in taxes.
I think the $8700 is misleading. Like I said yesterday, Obama came to office and created an illusion that you were getting a tax cut. Millions of Americans are going to be upset in February when they discover they owe the IRS lots of money. Gee thanks Obama. You screw up everything you touch. It's no wonder your mommy and daddy ran and gave you to a grandma you would one day throw under the bus. They couldn't afford the destruction you caused around your house as a child, and Americans can't afford the destruction you are causing to our country.
Honestly, if Obama hadn't messed around with withholding, this number would be closer to $10,000 in taxes paid to date. Either way, it's a lot of money that was stolen from me.

Cap and trade in the new climate bill upsets me as much as any bill in the history of our country. Cap and trade is just insulting to my intelligence and it should be insulting to your intelligence too; however, years of federal influence in the nation’s schools have produced generations of Americans who don’t think beyond what they are told. Remember Miss South Carolina Teen 2007, Caitlin Upton? This is a prime example of what the public schools have developed. I believe it is the mission of the federal government to use the public school systems to keep most Americans fat and stupid.
Every night, I step outside to enjoy my green utopia of watermelons, tomatoes, corn, sunflowers, carrots, and zucchini in my garden. I watch my apple and peach trees grow producing food to nourish our bodies. I see my other trees growing to produce cooling shade. My roses are in full bloom adding color to the yard. All of this is only capable thanks to carbon dioxide.
In 2009, Americans have allowed their elected leaders to label this miraculous gas, which is less than 4% of the total greenhouse gasses (water vapor makes up more than 90% of the greenhouse gasses), to be labeled dangerous. Without carbon dioxide, there is not life on earth. Fruits and vegetables fail to grow without CO2. Without the CO2 vegetation dies, and oxygen isn’t replenished in the world. How stupid have Americans become to fall for the greatest single hoax the world has ever seen—a hoax designed to redistribute the world’s power, tax people into poverty, and destroy America’s industrial power?
I have seen many hoaxes in my time, but this is the single greatest hoax I have seen pull off. It’s a liberty killer, and Americans are too busy worried about the Michael Jackson mystery or whether or not the Twilight stars are dating to look at the science driving the politics. They want to feel good that they saved a polar bear. The problem is the polar bears were never in jeopardy. Polar Bear populations have grown 500% since the 1950s. They politicians lie to us so they can consume power and Americans don’t want to feel guilty about a bear they aren’t willing to invest any research in.
Ice grows and ice recedes. It’s natural. It’s why the Titanic sank. A large chunk of ice fell off and floated off into the ocean until it was a tiny ice cube. Antarctica used to be a tropical paradise which the penguins adapted to in time according to The March of the Penguins. Now it’s a huge chunk of ice. Now Al Gore uses it to sell his rhetoric, but ice has been breaking off into chunks into the ocean for thousands of years before Gore’s lies.
It’s sad that there are Americans who believe carbon dioxide is dangerous. Do they understand what the Krebs Cycle is? It’s natural. It isn’t dangerous. If you have fallen for this environmental rhetoric, you are a fool. Carbon dioxide provides so much good for our planet. It’s needed. It’s required. You are a moron if you believe it’s dangerous. Remember they say a fool and his money are soon parted. Unfortunately a small amount of fools will be responsible for parting a lot of people with their money, their jobs, and the quality of life.
I am angry. I am angry that there are people in the government that believe the American people are so stupid they will continue to fall for bad science—despite records showing the earth is cooling, the extended period of no solar activity, increased ice at the caps, more polar bears, and longer, colder winters.

Ron Paul on Cap and Trade
Alex Jones reported yesterday the eight Republican who voted for cap and trade had until July 2, 2009, to change their votes. This is not the case. Cap and trade was officially passed in the House and will now move on into the Senate.
Jones spoke with Congressman Ron Paul about the climate bill. Apparently many Democrats were forced to vote for it in fear. Paul said many of them know the consequences ahead coming from cap and trade.

In my last column, I joked that with public spending out of control and the piling on of the international bailout bill, economic collapse seems to be the goal of Congress. It is getting harder to joke about such a thing however, as the non-partisan General Accounting Office (GAO) has estimated that the administration’s health care plan would actually cost over a trillion dollars. This reality check may have given us a temporary reprieve on this particular disastrous policy, however an equally disastrous energy policy reared its ugly head on Capitol Hill last week.
The Cap and Trade Bill HR 2454 was voted on last Friday. Proponents claim this bill will help the environment, but what it really does is put another nail in the economy’s coffin. The idea is to establish a national level of carbon dioxide emissions, and sell pollution permits to industry as the Catholic Church used to sell indulgences to sinners. HR 2454 also gives federal bureaucrats new power to regulate a wide variety of household appliances, such as light bulbs and refrigerators, and further distorts the market by providing more of your tax money to auto companies.
The administration has pointed to Spain as a shining example of this type of progressive energy policy. Spain has been massively diverting capital from the private sector into politically favored environmental projects for the better part of a decade, and many in Washington apparently like what they see. However, under no circumstances should anyone serious about economic recovery emulate an economy that is now approaching 20 percent unemployment, where every green job created, eliminated 2.2 real jobs and cost around $800,000 each!
The real inconvenient truth is that the cost of government regulations, taxes, fees, red tape and bureaucracy is a considerable expense that has to be considered when companies decide where to do business and how many people they can afford to hire. Increasing governmental burden directly causes capital flight and job losses, as Spain has learned. In this global economy it is easy enough for businesses to relocate to countries that are more politically friendly to economic growth. If our government continues to kick the economy while it is down, it will be a long time before it gets back up. In fact, jobs are much more likely to go overseas, compounding our problems.
And for what? Contrary to claims repeated over and over, there is no consensus in the scientific community that global warming is getting worse or that it is manmade. In fact over 30,000 scientists signed a petition recently directly disputing the claims on which this policy is based. Legitimate environmental claims should instead be directed towards the public sector. The government, especially the military, is the most serious polluter in the country, and is exempt from most EPA regulations. Meanwhile Washington bureaucrats have classified the very air we exhale as a pollutant and have gone unchallenged in this incredible assertion. The logical consequence is that there will come a time when we will have to buy a government permit just to emit carbon dioxide into the atmosphere from our own lungs!
The events on Capitol Hill last week just demonstrate Washington’s audacity in manufacturing problems just so they can expand government power to solve them.
Al Qaeda Threatens Sarkozy and France Over Burka
Last week, French President Nicolas Sarkozy cited his disgust of how Middle Eastern women are expected to cover up, and moved to pass a law protecting women from this cruel practice. As expected, terrorists in the Middle East and Northern Africa weren’t happy with Sarkozy’s comments. The Northern Africa wing of those lovely people known as Al Qaeda are demanding Sarkozy let it go or France will pay for his comments and actions.
"We will take revenge for the honor of our daughters and sisters against France and against its interests by every means at our disposal."
”We call upon all Muslims to confront this hostility with greater hostility, and to counter France's efforts to divide male and female believers from their faith with a greater effort ... (by) adherence to the teachings of their Islamic sharia," said Abdul Wadud.
May I just state the obvious, how is anyone honored when they are forced to hide? Something tells me Sarkozy isn’t going to back down. He seems different than generations of French wusses that we have seen in the past. I stand behind France!

Just when you thought the cast of characters in American politics couldn’t get any worse, the Minnesota Supreme Court allowed Al Franken to steal the election from Norm Coleman. The Court ruled today that Franken, former unfunny Saturday Night Live boob, will be seated as the junior Senator from Minnesota. There is nothing funny about this. It’s a sad day for Minnesota and the country as we watch this cheater, Al Franken, now take office.
Obama's Gay Champion Promise Quickly Put to the Test: Iraq Veteran Faces Court Marshal for Admitting He is Gay
Yesterday, Obama stood in front of gay Americans promising to be a champion of homosexuality. Gay Americans should look to the military hearings in Syracuse, New York today to see just how much of a champion Obama will be.
Dan Choi violated the military’s don’t ask don’t tell policy. He came out of the military wall locker (closet) when he was interviewed with the Army Times in March. Choi, a West Point graduate, wrote Obama begging him to change the policy. Obama promised during the campaign that he would, but has done little towards voicing his desire for change in any of the nation’s policies towards homosexuals. To the best of my research, it looks like Obama hasn’t responded to Choi. Remember what I said, yesterday’s words to homosexuals were just words—soon to be broken promises. More than 250 gay and lesbians have been discharged since Obama has taken office, and Obama has done little to prevent this from happening.
Choi has honorably served in Iraq. He was the honorary grand marshal in the recent San Francisco Pride Parade.
The question here is if Obama will live up to his promises and prevent this officer from being court marshaled or if yesterday’s promises will quickly be broken. I pick the latter. You must realize homosexuality is a huge sin in the Muslim religion, which many people feel guides Obama. I think this is what’s driving Obama running from gay issues with a few rhetorical words here and there showing pseudo support.

The FDA Wants to Babysit You During Your Headaches and Flu: Tylenol is the Obama Administration's Product of the Day to Demonize
Is there any convenience in life that the government isn’t willing to demonize? From gasses necessary to support life on earth to light bulbs to Cherrios and now over-the-counter medications, there isn’t anything the Obama administration won’t demonize, and this includes freedom loving Americans.
Today the attack is on Tylenol. The government, who needs you alive to steal more taxes from you, feels they aren’t doing their job as the babysitter of the people. Apparently the warning label they forced Tylenol and other products containing acetaminophen isn’t being read by enough people. Tylenol has moved up in rankings as Public Enemy Number One for the day.
The FDA is looking at pulling acetaminophen off the shelves because they claim it causes liver damage because people are abusing Tylenol. Isn’t this something! They keep cigarettes on the shelves knowing there could be health risks associated with smoking including cancer, lung damage, and heart disease, but they continue to allow cigarettes because they collect a mass of taxes from smoking. However, Tylenol isn’t taxed so their possible solution is to pull it off the shelves because they don’t believe Americans can handle following the dosage guidelines. Does anyone else see the hypocrisy in this? (By the way, I am not advocating pulling cigarettes off the shelf.)
If the government could tax acetaminophen, this wouldn’t be an issue. They would debate in Congress how to prevent acetaminophen abuse while creating big government education programs, but if it was taxable, they would never pull it off the shelf.
The FDA says consumers should never take more than 4 grams a day. They argue that when consumers mix Tylenol with products like NyQuil or Theraflu, consumers are at risk of overdosing. It’s more likely the FDA will pull NyQuil and Theraflu off the shelves, which means the government is once again picking winners and losers. I still maintain if they were taxing at the level they tax tobacco, this wouldn’t even be news.
Obama’s giving me a huge headache. I’m ready to down a whole bottle of Tylenol! Someone please send the FDA to save me.

they don't have any problem defaming a group of white students on false
accusations of a black prostitute, but keep a low profile when the
disgusting perpetrator is a faculty member sodomite and the victim is
his adopted black son.

Rasmussen Reports Obama Approval Index at -2
Rasmussen just released their Presidential Approval Index. According to the index, 31% of Americans strongly approve of Obama’s job performance. 33% Americans strongly disapprove of Obama’s job performance. This is the first time Obama has received a negative number since they began polling his job performance. People must be waking up to Obama’s soft tyranny. I wonder what his next move is. Will it be to silence his critics who expose the truth the news media won’t report about his policies? That’s my guess.
I have a feeling the White House is angry today. The wrath of Obama and his cronies like Rahm Emanuel is coming.
Independence Week Irony: Obama Isn't a Champion of Freedom
Isn’t it sad that on Independence week, our president has taken the side of some of the most vile violators of human rights and liberty on the planet. After the overthrow of the leader of Honduras, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton continue to support Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, and Daniel Ortega and their views towards the situation in Honduras. Obama supports a man in Honduras who was in violation with the Honduras Constitution. Isn't this irony? I find it such irony that during the week of Independence Day, Obama shows his true colors for the world to see. Obama is not a champion of freedom, human rights, and liberty. You best be taking notes.
Just like Obama failed to speak up within a reasonable time for the students in Iran, just a few days later we see Obama supporting the wrong side once again. And once again, Obama doesn’t support freedom.

One Man, Many Taxes, 365 Days Day 178 and 179 Cap and Trade Taxes
Well, I am nearly half way through this depressing reality of recording every penny lost to taxes for this year. In two days, we begin the second half of the year.
So far, I think the most alarming reality is the sales tax. It's just shy of $2000 for the year. The biggest surprise is the federal taxes withheld. I know I am going to owe if I don't make the necessary adjustments thanks to Obama's numbers game. We discussed earlier how millions of Americans aren't getting refunds in February, but they will find out they owe thanks to Obama's pretend tax cut.
Obama doesn't want to cut your taxes. In fact, I pointed out earlier today that just the Democrat's new tax on gasoline in the climate bill proves Obama is full of crap when he says cap and trade will cost you about a postage stamp a day. So I have decided that in 2012, if the Senate passes cap and trade, I am going to record each penny once again to prove to Americans what the climate bill costs them. I am looking forward to December 31st, as I am tired of collecting receipts each day.

Obama's New Issue: Building a New Improved Light Bulb
As you know, we will soon say good by to Thomas Edison's light bulb. Come the first of the year, Americans will be forced to paying nearly six times as much for a light bulb they say is environmentally friendlier--at least until you read the warnings about breaking the bulb.
So as Kim Jong Il plans his Independence Day attack on Hawaii, Obama revisits the light bulb for something to talk about.
"I know light bulbs may not seem sexy, but this simple action holds enormous promise because seven percent of all the energy consumed in America is used to light our homes and businesses," Obama stated.
Apparently he doesn't feel like the Democrat's plan to rid the United States of the traditional light bulb goes far enough. (Something tells me Obama's buddy Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of GE, has plans to position himself to profit from whatever Obama is up to.) Obama announced he is spending $346 million for a light bulb even more efficient than the mercury vapor bulbs which will be mandated after this year.
Listen up, the next part of Obama's speech is telling. There are going to be jobs lost because of Obama's Tesla Tinkertoy kit. Obama plans on closing down 14 coal-fired power plants. What's he going to replace them with? Windmills? How funny. You people in West Virginia and other coal are going to feel the pain of Obama's policies. You will soon account for the next people in the unemployment lines. I have been to West Virginia, and jobs aren't abundant in many of the towns where coal mining powers the country. Obama is coming after you! You better get calling Robert Byrd and tell him he better vote for your jobs and not Obama's schemes.
Obama announced his new light bulb would save America $4 billion per year. Isn't he amazing! North Korea is planning an attack on the United States and the president is talking light bulbs! Aren't you loving the change? We may be a pile of ashes, but Obama will be as important in light bulb history as Edison himself.
Earlier this month, Obama announced his plans for better refrigerators and air conditioners. Did we elect a president or the Maytag Repairman?

It's moments like these that Erich 'Mancow' Muller likes to revisit the moments in Memphis after Doctor Martin Luther King's death in which Jackson who ran from the scene went back to the scene and rubbed himself in King's blood and then posted himself in front of the camera to take advantage of the moment. Beat Congress at Their Own Environmental Games: Mercury Light Bulbs Can Slow Down Democrats
Americans should be angry after the manifestation on Capitol Hill during the climate debate last Friday. In a single afternoon, if you were paying attention, you observed the possible death of American freedoms occur because of the words carbon dioxide, a naturally occurring gas required to sustain life on earth. If the Senate continues with this madness and passes the cap and trade bill, it will be the final knife in the back of our Constitution and the American way of life.
There was a scene I was hoping would occur in the chambered halls of Congress on Friday. It would have clearly pointed out how far to hell Congress has directed this country through their belief in global warming environmentalism. If John Boehner wanted to buy time in Congress and slowed this vote down, all he had to do was start throwing mercury vapor light bulbs throughout the halls of the Capitol. The Democrats could have been beaten by their own environmentalism silliness.
As you know, at the end of this year, traditional light bulbs will be outlawed in the United States. They are considered inefficient—a danger to the earth’s fragile environment. The earth has survived millions of years of volcanic activity and the poisonous gasses produced, and the democrats consider the simple light bulb as one of the ultimate enemies of mankind. I laugh, but I also see where we can easily win this debate and show how dangerous the Democrats silliness is. You see, in replacing the light bulb with the new generation of florescent bulbs that cost five times as much as the traditional bulb, you know have a legal environmental weapon easily accessible at your fingertips.
The new light bulbs contain mercury. They are an environmental nightmare when broken. If you break one of these light bulbs, you are to open the windows to allow the mercury fumes to escape, leave the room, and call a hazardous materials team with Environmental Protection Agency qualification to clean up your light bulb.
You figure, you get a bunch of Congressmen in one room who are content on reading the bill before voting on it, these light bulbs might be the answer to slow environmental wackos like Nancy Pelosi from stealing more rights from Americans by forcing fast votes on legislation that still have fresh ink and crisp new pages. Throw them like grenades and thrown them fast—watch the fun begin as they clear Congress out to clean up the environmental mess. I figure this is all we really have at this point to prevent Democrats from stealing our rights. You can beat Democrats by using their own environmental stupidity against them. I suggest Republicans start stocking up on light bulbs containing mercury.
Unfortunately, this didn’t happen and we are one step closer to cap and trade and the destruction of freedom.
Mayor of Gary, Indiana Looks to Profit From Michael Jackson's Death
Rudy Clay, the mayor of Gary, Indiana, thinks Michael Jackson’s death is good for Gary. He is looking at Jackson’s death to get people to visit Gary. Seriously, has anyone been to Gary lately? It’s scary—very scary.
Clay has plans to oversee the Jackson Five museum to bring people to Gary. He is also lobbying the family to burry Jackson in his boyhood home, Gary. Clay obviously sees what Graceland has done for Memphis and he hopes people will have the same enthusiasm for his town. There is just one problem. Michael Jackson got as far as away from Gary as he could when he moved to California to escape scary Gary. Everyone is looking to profit from his death right now.
I am telling you, Jackson is the next Elvis. I expect to see his image all over the corner of the local grocery store parking lot next to the guy selling pocket rocket motor scooters.
Obama's Postage Stamp Lie: Cap and Trade Gasoline Tax More than Doubles Missouri's Current Gas Taxes
Cap and Trade will add a 77 cent tax for a gallon of gasoline. What’s the size of your tank, 13 gallons? Your cost at the pump was just raised by over $10. Remember, Obama said in his radio address this past weekend that the climate bill was only going to cost you a postage stamp a day in additional costs. Once again, we see Obama isn’t very good at math. Obama's comparison that cap and trade will cost Americans the equivalent of a postage stamp a day means that it should cost Americans no more than just over $160 a year. This is easy to show Obama's lie by doing simple math.
The average person driving to work five days a week fills their tank up every seven to ten days. Let’s say you fill your tank up once a week with your 13 gallon tank. The cost to you is $1.43 a day. If you fill your tank up ever ten days, that’s a dollar a day. That means without any consideration to any other energy or products, cap and trade is already costing you an additional $365 to $521.95 a year. Considering your electricity, natural gas, and other energy costs are promised to rise as well, it’s so easy to make the case Obama is full of crap with his postage stamp promise.
Now, what happens when you add additional costs to shipping products to stores? The cost of shipping goes up, they prices of the products go up as well. Unless our government plans on charging $10 for a postage stamp, Obama is lying!

Motions to reconsider are routinely laid on the table — or killed. If a motion to reconsider is adopted, it requires a vote be held again on whatever the House has voted to reconsider. Only Members who voted on the winning side may move to reconsider a vote. Members have been known to change their votes at the last minute in order to be eligible to offer the motion.
If the original vote on a question is close, enough members might be persuaded to change their position, or absent members could come to the floor, vote to reconsider, then reverse the outcome of the original vote.
Typically, however, after announcing the result of a vote, the Speaker states that, “without objection, a motion to reconsider is laid on the table.” This uses up the one opportunity to reconsider, and makes the result of the vote final.
LAY ON THE TABLE
A motion to lay on the table a bill, resolution, amendment, point of order, appeal or another motion disposes of the question immediately and finally and adversely — it kills it without a direct vote on the substance of the question. A motion to table is not debatable and is adopted by unanimous consent — without objection — or by majority vote. It is a “highly privileged motion” — that is, in the order in which motions are given priority in the House, only a motion to adjourn has higher precedence than a motion to table a measure.

When you place your house on the market, the federal government will send a bureaucrat from the Environmental Protection Agency to give your house an energy efficiency rating. If your house doesn’t comply with the government standard, you will be required to bring your house up to standard before you can sell it. If your windows aren’t efficient, the government will make you replace them. If your air conditioning isn’t one of these new air conditioners that are not capable of keeping your house cool in the summer while using the minimal amount of electricity the government will decide upon, you will have to replace it. It doesn’t matter if these things are in perfect running order and they are what the purchaser wants. If the government doesn’t approve, you will have to replace these items before you sell them. Freedom continues to die in the United States.
Jim Guest to Speak at Springfield Independence Day Fair Tax Tea Party
Missouri Representative Jim Guest is speaking at the Fair Tax Tea Party on Independence Day. For those of you unfamiliar with Representative Guest, he has been instrumental in speaking up for states’ rights guaranteed by the Tenth Amendment of the United States Constitution. Representatives like Guest will be important in battling the federal government, especially after the California zoning laws have been nationally adopted by the US House of Representatives in the climate/cap and trade bill.

If Global Warming is as Dire as They Say, Why Is Cap and Trade Being Put off Three Years After They Pass It?
If the Democrats are so sure cap and trade will save the planet then why doesn’t the regulations take effect until 2012? Isn’t our planet important enough to start this program as soon as the Senate passes the bill? Surely the Democrats aren’t haven’t put this off this bill to save Barack Obama’s reelection chances, have they?
If you want to know the reality of this bill, the magic number in figuring out this isn’t good for our country is to look at the year the bill is finally implemented. We are told constantly from politicians with an environmental agenda that the time is now. If the time is now, they why put it off three years? If they force Americans to follow this bill in 2009 or 2010, Obama has no chance of being elected. Why?
Because the bill is going to drive up energy costs. Electricity cost will rise up to 90%. Gasoline costs will rise 58%. This is all going to trickle down as it costs more to run the big machines farmers use to harvest corn, soy beans, and other crops. This obviously is going to drive up food costs. If the Democrats allowed this to happen before 2012, they destroy Obama’s chances of reelection.
Once again, we see the green movement isn’t about saving the earth. It’s about taxes, and cap and trade is one of the largest tax increases in American history, and it will finish destroying the economy, but let’s put it on hold for a few years so we can get Barack reelected. If the earth is in such dire consequences, why are we putting it off three years? This shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.
Energy Refund Program For Low Income Consumers: The Redistribution Program in Wealth in Cap and Trade
Cap and trade is redistribution of wealth. In the bill passed by the house Friday night is the Energy Refund Program for Low Income Consumers program. This program pays low income families with utility bills. The program is to offset the lost purchasing power due to cap and trade. In other words, the government has created a program within the program to handle the job losses the climate bill will bring to our country. It understands that more Americans will become lower class thanks to higher energy costs and it creates a safety net for these Americans. Do you understand this? Let me say it again, the fact this program exists in the cap and trade legislation shows that our representatives are fully aware of the coming higher energy costs and the job losses resulting from cap and trade.
So our government has planned to rob from American industry because they produce a natural gas essential for plant growth on earth, and they will give a percentage of their stolen money to the poor. Unbelievable!
The EPA will run the program and the EPA administrator will formulate and run the program. Low income Americans will be paid the maximum of the IRS’s maximum tax energy credit. It will be paid out in 12 monthly payments rounded to the nearest dollar amount and direct deposited into the accounts of low income Americans.
The real problem is once out Congress runs off all the factories and the great American industrial power is dead, where are they going to get the money to pay out the Energy Refund Program for Low Income Consumers? There will be no money eventually because this bill will finish off American industry.

The Federal Government is Prepared to Force Your Community to Follow California Zoning Laws
So what are the California zoning laws? They are a set of laws that define where you can build and how it is to be built, and considering California's earthquake building laws are part of the code, this is going to drive up construction costs.
The California zoning laws will force states to reconsider the transportation plans including where they can build state highways and local roads. States will be forced to adopt California's congestion management laws.
California house building laws will be forced upon the other 49 states as well. Remember California is debating outlawing colors like black because they believe the color black encourages global warming. I wrote earlier this year about how they are looking to require people to paint roofs white in order to cut down on global warming. California's silliness will drive up the costs of new homes.
There are endless pages of zoning laws which includes zoning fees that will be forced upon the other 49 states. From where they can build their hospitals to making it nearly impossible to build new power plants--let me say that again--making it nearly impossible to build new power plants--the federal government is violating the Tenth Amendment by forcing California's laws on the other 49 states.
The state of California has a Web site with all their zoning laws. Obviously there are thousands of pages of zoning laws, and I doubt one Congressman read more than five or six pages of these laws. Anyone with any common sense should understand the messes and the failure that is California. One failure in particular should concern all Americans. California's zoning laws have made in nearly impossible to build new power plants, and these laws have helped the environmentalist prevent new power plants from being built. California's grid is stressed from the needs of the nation's largest state. If cap and trade passes the Senate, these zoning laws will help push up energy costs even higher than projected. Remember, this wasn't originally in the bill and was thrown in at the last minute. Throw out the projections you heard about paying $2,000 or more a year for your energy costs. Without new power plants, prices will go up based on supply and demand, and I think this is the real reason Congress allowed these zoning laws to be included in the bill.

Obama is such a nice guy, right? I mean after all, he took the office and almost immediately you were taking more money home in your paycheck (that is if you managed to keep your job after Obama began implementing programs to destroy jobs). Most Americans were fooled into believing they got an Obama tax cut--nothing could be farther from the truth.
In a recent conversation in an HR department somewhere in Springfield, MO. A group of employees gathered upset because they were fooled into thinking at first the $14 a pay period held out of their checks for federal taxes was part of a massive tax cut geared to stimulate the economy. It took them over four months to realize while their withholding amounts changed, the tax tables didn't. They were looking at huge tax payments at the end of the year. In fact, this little trickery on the part of Barack Obama may further hurt the economy.
Come February, there are going to be far more Americans owing the IRS money than receiving refunds, which is what each employee in this gathering at HR discovered. How do you think that's going to help the economy next year when people who the IRS thousands because Obama played with the withholding rates to give the illusion of a tax cut but he didn't actually lower the tax tables. What a mess the Obama administration continues to be.
If Americans haven't woken up yet, they will come February when they owe the IRS money thanks to Barack Obama.

Cap and Trade Will Slap and Kill Small Businesses
We spoke today of two businesses--both licensed franchises (just because you see a big name on the door doesn't mean it's a big business.) Most franchises are small businesses, whether its your local McDonald's, Jimmy Johns sandwich store, or whatever it may be. They are small businessman who have made an investment and taken a risk to sell an established product. Both the owners of these small businesses are concerned cap and trade could force them out of business. When you start looking at the reality of it, it's easy to see how they will fall victim.
One of the local sandwich shops noted how tight things are currently because their energy costs have risen so high. Most people don't realize the costs of electricity it takes to run an oven and the rest of the equipment for 16-18 hours in a restaurant. Energy costs are a large part of the overheard in a little sandwich shop, in fact the monthly utility bill runs between $1300 and $1500. If margins are already tight for this small businessman, what do you suppose will happen in a couple years once the cap and trade energy bill goes into effect. This small business owner could see their electricity bill raise three times to five times what they pay now.
This small business owner has one option if they are going to stay in business--raise prices. The $5 foot long just became the $15 or $20 foot long. Even that may not save him because across the board consumers are getting hit with the increases in everything they purchase for this very reason, and they have to deal with higher energy costs in their own homes.
The other business we talked about pays around $2000 a month in energy costs. It's a good size retail store who have already made cuts to keep that cost lower. If they are forced to make too many more cuts many of the customer comforts they provide will have to be eliminated.
This is why the Senate must defeat the evil that the House of Representatives passed yesterday. Many of these small-business owners don't have much room for their energy costs to skyrocket, which cap and trade ensures. I know I will be calling Claire McCaskill and Kit Bond and remind them Missourians chose McCain, and Missourians don't want to be forced into California zoning laws, which the cap and trade bill includes, and higher energy costs.

These eight Republicans just bought themselves a ticket back home to stay in 2010. They failed to listen to the thousands of phone calls coming into their offices begging them not to kill America with a yes vote, but they forgot they are supposed to represent the people of their district. To make matters even worse, they voted to adopt California zoning laws and force them on the other 49 states. Who wants their state ran like California after seeing the past few months? There is a reason nothing gets done in California anymore, and part of that reason has to do with these zoning laws.

Some Congressman Changed Their Cap and Trade Votes in Exchange For Something Nice to be Said About Them: The Revolution is About to Begin
Americans are about to get a real lesson about the realities of the damage this Democratic president and Congress. It will hit them hardest in the costs of their goods and increased energy costs, but there is another reality.
If I were an American factory owner who has served the United States by providing jobs for the economy, I would think twice tonight about how Congress just slapped me in the face. If Congress thinks they are going to regulate the amount I produce based on limits it forces me to comply with, then I would be on my way to closing the doors of the factory, put a picture of me on the board giving Pelosi, Reid, and Obama the bird while explaining why I have chosen this path, and move my factory overseas where I don't have a government bureaucrat monitoring my energy use and carbon out put. In other words I don't blame one factory owner for going Galt and moving their American jobs overseas after what Pelosi oversaw tonight.
Our government wasn't set up to monitor businesses with these cap and trade measures. Pelosi is way out of line, but this is now reality and Americans better remember what finished off American industry and forced these companies to relocate when the unemployment lines lengthen once cap and trade kicks in.
I am sickened by what I saw in Congress today. It shows the arrogance of so many in Congress who have stopped representing the people and now represent themselves and Nancy Pelosi. Mark Levin had one Congressman come on and claim some Congressmen were changing their votes providing another bigger name would go in front of Congress and say some nice things about them. Remember who these Congressmen are that wanted something nice said about them in Congress, and be sure you say nothing nice about Congressmen who just raised your energy bills, robbed Americans of jobs, and continued to destroy the economy so someone could say something nice about them. I am sick. I don't even know if I want to be a part of this great experiment anymore since it has now turned into a train wreck. I want off the train before in crashes hard. I know now that my phone calls to Congress, my letters to Senators, and the words I place on this blog mean nothing to the arrogant assholes that sit in Congress pretending they represent the people. Call me when the revolution begins. I will do my part to see the vision of Thomas Jefferson is restored.

Texas Democratic Representative Lloyd Doggett Sells Out Texas and Our Country
Representative Lloyd Doggett was one of the blue dog Democrats on teetering on cap and trade legislation. It looks like he will sell Texas energy and jobs out for Pelosi’s and the Democrats scheme based on unproven science—a science many scientists now doubt considering the factual evidence. In order to get his vote, he was promised a seat on the energy committee so he can help make it better down the like. What a jack ass! If it’s not good right now, then make it better before it becomes law and the damage is done.
This little voice from Texas will not have any power once this becomes a law. He has made the Faustian deal and powerful liberal Democrats will laugh in his face one day when he speaks up realizing Texas energy rates have spiraled out of control because he couldn’t make up his mind until he was promised something in return. Texas, if you live is Doggett’s district, you need to make sure he doesn’t get his seat. You remember he voted for cap and trade and your vote needs to show Mr. Doggett the door.
Memories of Memphis 1977 and The Reality of Memphis Now: The Coming Neverland Tourist Attraction
I was sitting in my grandmother’s basement in August of 1977 watching the afternoon cartoons. Both me and my little sister sat on the red shag carpet when CBS broke in to inform the world Elvis Presley had died of a heart attack. Now 32 years later, there are parallel circumstances.
Within the week, we packed up and drove down to Memphis on our way to Huntsville, Alabama to see some friends from St. Louis that had recently moved south. I remember seeing the lines of people along Elvis Presley Boulevard gathered to mourn the King of Rock N Roll’s death. Elvis Presley Boulevard looked a lot different in 1977.
Now it’s an endless mile of Elvis Presley tourist traps. You can walk inside the Lisa Marie, Elvis’s private Airplane, and at one time you could see the gawd that is Graceland. I have returned to Elvis Presley Boulevard twice since witnessing the pilgrimage to Graceland in August of 1977.
I have heard Lisa Marie Presley talk today about a memory of her fear that Michael Jackson was scared he would die like Elvis, and he definitely fulfilled his prophecy. I can only imagine what the Neverland Ranch might turn into. I am sure it’s filled with gawd as well as I have seen the interviews in the last 24 hours that were filmed there. Jackson loved paintings of himself, and there were some strange ones. Neverland will become the next Graceland—a tourist trap for the post-Elvis generation. I can see it now.

Couple Arrested for Using Cheetos as a Weapon
A Shelbyville, Tennessee couple posted bond after they were arrested for assault. Are you liberals ready for this? You have something else to fight to ban, and this ban covers two evils—violence and obesity. Are your liberal mouths watering for a new cause? Here you go then.
The weapon used in the assault by 40-year-old James Earl Taylor and Mary S. Childers, 44, were Cheetos. They had begun to argue and then began assaulting each other with Cheetos. No one was hurt, but there was cheese powder which coats the snack everywhere. The couple was arrested by Corporal Kevin Roddyand were released on a $2500 bail for both Taylor and Childers. That’s right, $2500 for throwing Cheetos at each other.
They may get off on a technicality though. Roddy called the Cheetos potato chips, which they clear are not. His report reads that the two began verbally arguing "at which time Cheetos potato chips were used in the assault."
Are you kidding me?
They will appear before a judge on July 15.
Paul McCartney's Cosmically Conscious Blog: Just Not Buying into Paul's Environmental Claims on his Blog
Today, I went to Paul McCartney’s Web site to view what he had to say about Michael Jackson after all the tension between them over the Beatles catalog, which Michael Jackson undermined McCartney’s efforts to purchase the rights to his songs. I quickly noticed a blog about global warming, not written by Macca, but referencing McCartney’s global warming beliefs. I just have to laugh in the dishonesty of the blog.
It’s Saturday morning in the city that never pipes down and the bus honk hoooooooooonk honking its irritated way up the crawler lane of the boxed up traffic on Central Park South has a sign of our stupid times running down its side. The ad banner for a new TV show says “watch David De Rothchild’s Eco Trip – the hottest thing since global warming”.
Geddit? The hottest thing, it’s a pun, a copywriter cleverness, ho ho ho, warming, hottest, very cute; let’s make global warming funny, because like it is, right? Melting ice caps, holes in the sky, a planet of rain forest throttled by industrial selfishness; yeah, really funny.
Unfortunately, if we ever get to cryonically come back from the dead to ask our scorched great grandchildren if they appreciated our mirth on this matter they are going to think we were very, very imbecilic back in that moment that could have made a difference. At best, they will pity us and make the same sort of excuses about not getting it as we do now about those other old jerks who used to send little boys up chimneys.
Anyway, that will be then but this is now and in that now in the most advanced and sophisticated city in the world those who provide captions for its popular culture are making pejorative gags about ecology.
I first paid proper attention to the talk about global warming 20 years ago when Paul McCartney was on tour and in Paris and was quarrelling his way to almost losing it at his own press conference with French journalists who were scoffing, ridiculing his endorsement for Les Amis De La Terre and clearly not getting the translation of his pithy way of putting it – “look, all I’m saying is about the environment is we’ve gotta get serious or we’re gonnaget dead”.
I think most of my readers know I admire the Beatles and their music. I have actually been attacked by liberals who think it’s a crime to associate the Beatles with conservatism. Why is that? Have you ever heard the song Taxman? The Beatles, especially George Harrison, understood the evil of government’s greedy hand.
I am going to have to comment on the environmental dishonesty of Paul McCartney, and this isn’t personal. I admire and love Paul McCartney. I saw him in concert in 1993 in Kansas City. I am just tired of people pushing their environmental beliefs upon me to limit the way I live and enjoy life while I see little evidence that they are making cuts in their own lives. Honestly, I don’t mind if you think differently than me, but don’t support robbing me of my freedom and liberties with your naïve views.
McCartney saying “we’ve gotta get serious or we’re gonnaget dead” is as insulting as Ted Danson telling us 25 years ago that the oceans would be dead in 20 years. And of course the writer worries about scorched grandchildren, which is just as insulting. The temperature on earth has raised only about a degree and that degree has gone down in recent years. We are seeing a prolonged period of lack of sunspots which has caused global cooling, and scientists are baffled why solar cycle 23 has lasted much longer than they have anticipated. Yet, we see the typical rhetoric—now with visions of charred grandchildren as if the evil industrial machine placed them into a giant bar-b-que, poured lighter fluid on them, and threw the match in. Please stop with the worthless pathos, and let’s look at the facts before you write of such a horrible seen that’s just not going to happen. If you are so worried about the grandchildren, the maybe you should start worrying about how Obama is handling the economy, specifically his massive spending programs, which threatens the livelihood the next few generations of children. It’s a far greater threat than global warming.
Last summer, McCartney took his new girlfriend, Nancy Shevell, on a road trip across American on historic Route 66. I know McCartney stopped in Lebanon, Missouri, forty miles from the town I grew up in, Strafford, MO. I think it’s cool McCartney drove through Strafford, even though it probably didn’t take him more than 5 minutes to get through the little town. To this day, I know of no sightings, but he stayed on Route 66, he went through Strafford and then Springfield.
How did McCartney drive across Route 66? Did he do it in a hybrid? No.
Did he do it in a Smart Car? No.
Did he do it in a car with an amazing MPG average? No.
McCartney drove 1989 Ford Bronco according to multiple sources. Of course, this was to draw less attention to his trip, and I can respect that. This is a guy who says we need to get serious or we are going to be dead. He is driving a 20 year old SUV across America. Doesn’t McCartney believe his own rhetoric?
McCartney is gearing up for another Tour. Just like the Beatles opened Shea Stadium, McCartney will open the New York Mets new stadium, Citi Field. Now I saw the size of the New World Tour in 1993 with its ‘Cosmically Conscious’ theme. I was there when Paul and Linda’s tour bus pulled in, and I began running after it. The tour was huge, which meant in the liberal world it produced a cosmic-sized carbon footprint. So many of these entertainers preach green, and then they go on tour for green. If they really believed that we are going to be dead, they why do they risk the livelihood of man to go on tour with the massive machines to move stages from city to city, the private aircraft to cross continents, and the massive light shows and speakers eating up electricity. Apparently they don’t believe themselves that we are going to all die or they would stay at home. I'd still go see him regardless of his carbon footprint. He's Paul after all. I just don't believe he buys into the rhetoric when he sets a different example.
My Anger Towards the Stupidity of Cap and Trade
I have to admit I am a little upset that our leaders have allowed cap and trade to get this far in its debate. We are killing America with this craziness, and what gets me most is environmentalists are too stupid to realize that if you over regulate American industries, they will leave to the country. They will then move to countries without the strict regulations where they can get away with creating real pollution. I am so sick of the lack of common sense in this country.
Not only that, but between taxes and higher energy prices, most Americans are already cutting back. It’s hurting our economy. Now they want to place taxes on carbon that will continue to drive energy prices up. Do these ignorant people who continually get sent to Washington to represent our best interest realize how the cost of living is heading upwards at such a rapid pace and to increase this pace would be pushing Americans towards more economic pains? Why is this so hard to understand?
Moment of Silence for Michael Jackson in Congress: Will There be a Moment of Silence for Your Job?
Congress has taken time out of their final debate on cap and trade for a moment of silence of Michael Jackson. Jesse Jackson Jr. requested the moment of silence. I am curious if there will be a moment of silence once they finish ruining our country if they pass cap and trade today. Will there be a moment of silence for the end of American industry who will move overseas to escape the taxation of cap and trade?
I know I won’t remain silent. I will tell Congress where they can shove their cap and trade law if they pass it. I hope you will refuse to remain silent if your congressman sells your job and low energy prices for Pelosi’s promises.

The Democrats are out to ruin the economy today, but it may be a handful of Democrats who part ranks with Nancy Pelosi who will be the real heroes of the day. The Democrat's cap and trade bill will drive up the costs of energy and the products you purchase required to live like food while costing jobs. Factories will leave to escape the additional costs associated with the global warming taxes that are contained in the legislation.
Pelosi and company are holding a pre-vote pep rally in hopes of generating enough support to put this shameful piece of legislation over the top. (Does she think she's a cheerleader?) Their battle is in states like West Virginia whose coal industry will face a serious attack. Agricultural states too will feel the pains as well despite the Democrats allowing the Agriculture Department to take the reigns out of the hands of the EPA.
Pelosi needs 218 votes to pass the largest tax increase in American history. Americans will feel the pain through increased energy costs. If you haven't called your Congressman and put pressure on them, I suggest you get on the phone this morning and disrupt Pelosi's pep.

15,000 More Jobless Claims Last Week than Week Before
Even with Obama boasting of his accomplishments of job creation and job savings, unemployment continues to rise. There were 15,000 more initial job loss claims last week than the week before. According to the Department of Labor statistics, 627,000 new jobless claims occurred last week. That’s up from 612,000 the week before. Once again, you have to ask, where are all these jobs Obama boasts of?
Not only that, but Obama’s buddy Warren Buffet isn’t agreeing that we have seen the worst of the recession yet. While Obama claims we are through the worst, Buffet says we are not. I think the jobless numbers are a good sign that we still have a long way before we come out of this. Consider this bit of simple logic. The more people unemployed means the less people are spending on goods and services. As the number goes up, there is less money obviously being spent in the economy. For the economy to improve, it requires people to spend money to create needs for products, services, and jobs. It’s quite simple really.

The innovative Apple computer company has turned to pornography to increase their profits. The iTunes store now sells the Hottest Girls Application for iPhone and iPod users.
The $2 application allows viewers to see over 2200 topless and totally nude women. Apple justifies selling the content because it’s new line of products come with age restrictions to prevent children from downloading the content. Ok, but Apple has usually taken the high road, especially when compared to rival Microsoft. Why walk away from the highroad and promote an industry that has all but taken over the internet while preying upon children with pop-ups and other mechanisms? Aren’t there enough nude pictures on the internet without Apple promoting the porn industry?

Obama Contradicts Himself Early on in the Obama Healthcare Informercial
Charlie Gibson asked the first question last night. The question presented Obama with the predicament would he settle for just any healthcare plan for his family or if he would seek the very best health care for his family. His answer was telling.
Obama followed his basic strategy and formula for answering questions. He first called the question a very good question. This is typical Obama. This is where he makes you forget the question why starting to spin it to his answer, which rarely answers the question.
Secondly, Obama personalizes the question. He went on to say that he recently faced this situation when his grandma was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He makes the question personal, which is consistent with his Alinsky line of thinking. Now the conversation goes into turning Obama into this loving family guy, even though he threw the same grandmother underneath the bus during the election. “She was a typical white person.”
Listen closely to what Obama said. Obama said he would want to get his family the best health care.
So if that’s the case, why is it Obama is robbing us from the chance of getting the very best health care for our families? Why will he oversee a program that leads to rationing and a government bureaucrat making decisions for our families?
Then classic Obama form, he contradicts himself. This time was evident with a huge BUT, where Obama begins to attack the best healthcare system in the world, all so he can acquire more power for himself and the Democrats.
When you get past the uhs in his first answer and listen closely, it’s easy to see Obama wouldn’t put his family through the same healthcare program he is going to force you into. This isn’t the first time we see this inconsistency between Obama’s family and your family. You don’t see Obama packing Sasha and Malian into a smart car, but he recently signed legislation that will force the rest of us into a mini-sub compact golf cart. Do you ever see Michelle and Obama driving around a Smart car with the girls in back? Obama doesn’t live by the laws and programs he is forcing upon us.

Abuna Pauolos, the patriarch of the Orthodox Ethiopian church, claims he will reveal the most famous of all religious artifacts on Friday. Men have looked for it for centuries, Steven Spielberg made a movie creating a new silver screen hero named Indiana Jones, and it has remained a mystery for over 2000 years. According to Pauolos, the Ark of the Covenant has been kept in a church in Ethiopia for over 1000 years.
"Soon the world will be able to admire the Ark of the Covenant described in the Bible as the container of the tablets of the law that God delivered to Moses and the center of searches and studies for centuries,” Pauolos told reporters in Rome after meeting with Pope Benedict XVI.
"The Ark of the Covenant is in Ethiopia for many centuries," said Pauolos. "As a patriarch I have seen it with my own eyes and only few highly qualified persons could do the same, until now."
Pauolos said a copy of the Ark was placed in each church in Ethiopia to protect the actual Ark. This will be interesting to see if this is legitimate or just another Big Foot style press conference.

Al Gore Comes to Washington to Scare Congress into Voting for Cap and Trade
Al Gore returns to Congress. Those few votes Pelosi needs to pass cap and trade legislation tomorrow may not be as easy to come by as she thought, so they invited Al Gore to deliver doom and gloom to the nation’s capitol.
Al Gore will provide a presentation on Global Warming to Congress—of course none of it will be factual. Will he bring his industrial equipment to lift him up to the highest point of the Capitol’s dome to exclaim how bad it has gotten? Will he answer the questions from people who present factual information showing the ice caps have increased the amount of ice in recent years? Probably not. This is all designed to create meaningless pathos designed to scare a few more Congressmen into a vote for Pelosi’s political attack on America.
Can’t the Democrats do better than Al Gore and his same old rhetoric? I guess we will know more about the future of America sometime tomorrow when we see which Congressmen are standing up for Americans working hard to survive and which ones have sold us out to foolish, pseudo science.

The Democratic Congress is once again digging deep into America’s pockets to pay for worthless programs. Hav-A-Tampa closed their doors and laid off 500 workers in Florida. The cigar company had been in business since 1902. They blame the poor economy and high taxes on tobacco as reasons they are closing a company over 100 years old. Will these jobs be subtracted from Obama’s claim?
Of course, this isn’t good news for Congress who has raised taxes on tobacco to continue to fund their pet projects, and I do mean ‘pet.’ Congress is spending $100,000 to research the endangered Wyoming Toad (Bufo baxteri). The deficit rises.
Then another $10 million will be spent to promote better education in Cambodia. Who cares that half the students in a Chicago eighth grade class failed the eighth grade this year, let’s cut our losses in the US and give the money to Cambodia. Good thinking Congress!

Barney Frank is at it again. He is asking Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae to relax their lending standards. This means Frank wants to repeat the same program that allowed all those people who couldn’t afford houses another chance to get into houses they can’t afford again. This is a recipe for more toxic assets. After debate with Bill O’Reilly on the subject denying this very thing, he is once again promoting easy loans for people who aren’t credit worthy.
Congressman Frank asked the lending programs to make adjustments in a letter written with Anthony Weiner to make purchasing condominiums easier. Here we go again. Do Democrats ever learn? Someone needs to get Frank off of the Financial Services Committee. This is insanity!
The Audacity of Lying in Court: My Thoughts of Having the Race Card Played on Me
Please allow me to vent. I recently had a situation where I have undergone a recent series of threats for something I have written. The text that I wrote alluded to facts that could be backed up. There was nothing threatening in the text.
The threats grew to an instance almost three weeks ago after I left the vets office with my Labrador retriever. I made a left turn to head to where I live. The person making the threats must have seen my car at the vet’s office and waited for me. As I was driving eastward past Lamberts Café in Ozark, MO, a grayish blue Chrysler 300C rapidly approached me and looked to pass me. He stayed in the left lane yelling at me, come on, are you ready to go at it. Quickly approaching his car was a white Utility truck. He continued harassing me as he steered rightward towards my car. He eventually had to back off and then proceeded to ride my bumper until he had a place to turn off. By this time I had 911 on the phone and the car in front of me had witnessed what had just happened.
I went to court to get an order of protection, which was granted immediately. Today was the court date.
We both showed up without an attorney. When the judge went to ask him about the situation the following words came out of his mouth. I feel threatened by this guy. He made racial slurs and threatened me with his gun. Neither are true. This individual happens to be a well-known soccer coach in the area and he is black. As you know, which I have frequently pointed out on this blog, I hate the race card. Now it’s been played on me, I hate it more.
I hate it even more because my brothers in the Army were black, and we had a bond based on loyalty, trust, and brotherhood. I would never do anything to destroy that brotherhood. I don’t judge people by their skin color, but this individual hasn’t taken the time to get to know me and discover any truth about me. Instead, he would rather fabricate a story and use his own race as the justification for his lies. That’s sad. I have no respect for people who make themselves out to be victims and use their family or skin color to do so.
When he said it, my thought was how easy it is to play it when you are black and in trouble. That’s why cops are scrutinized for racial profiling these days, it’s an easy card to play. What got me more, is my love of the Second Amendment means I respect the Second Amendment. I have guns for protection, for defense—not for offensive aggression. I take my right to bear arms very seriously, so when someone goes to court and appears to a judge knowing they are under oath, it frankly angers me.
Since the Bible is still referenced in the court room as the document in which you swear in, there is a real audacity to lie in court and make up things that simply never occurred. I guess if you can live with yourself and face God later on in life knowing you lied under an oath that involved his word, then good luck to you when you get that point. I just don’t think that’s a chance worth taking, and I know I would never take that chance.
Heath Shuler: One of 45 Blue Dog Democrats Prepared to Sell North Carolina Out for Cap and Trade
Will the people of North Carolina please provide Heath Shuler a good kick in the butt when your energy prices and food prices go up if he sells his soul to Pelosi and Washington? He may be one of eight Congressman who might sell his soul to the interests of Washington DC over the interests of North Carolinians if he votes with Nancy Pelosi and her cap and trade bill. Shuler along with seven other blue dog Democrats living in primarily agricultural states are being promised the world for their support of cap and trade, and what are you going to get out of it?
Higher energy prices to cool your home in the summer and warm your home in the winter. Higher energy prices at the gas pumps. Higher food costs as the farmers in states like North Carolina will pay more to harvest the food you eat. You people in North Carolina need to be on the phone calling Shuler’s office and putting the pressure on him not to sell you out for Nancy Pelosi’s pleasure. You need to make sure Shuler understands he won’t be reelected if he votes for cap and trade. You have two days to get on the phone to get the message to Shuler. Start dialing.
I will list the other 44 blue dog Democrats who are being bought by Nancy Pelosi and selling you out throughout the day. These Congressman come from agricultural states which will be hit hard by Obama and Nancy Pelosi’s stupidity.

Bearer Bonds: Why Are Theives Heading Towards Switzerland With Bonds Not Printed Since 1982?

Intrigue. Espionage. Police. International thieves? Bearer Bonds! Now, if someone had said "Come out to the coast, we'll get together, have a few laughs" I would have thought the following happened at Nakatomi Towers in the movie Die Hard, but it happened in real life - and in Italy.
In the movie Die Hard, a group of international terrorists/thieves crash a Christmas party in one of the towers at Nakatomi Plaza. Their goal is to steal a large amount of money locked in a vault. The money, however, is not in the form of greenbacks but bearer bonds. A bearer bond is a debt security issued by a corporation, or by a government. It differs from the more common types of investment securities in that it is usually unregistered - no records are kept of the owner, or the transactions involving ownership. Whoever physically holds the paper on which the bond is issued owns the instrument, thus the name BEARER bond. This is useful for investors who wish to retain anonymity. The downside is that in the event of loss or theft, bearer bonds are extremely difficult to recover because whoever holds them - owns them.
In the movie, the bad guys were clearly delineated and were after a $640-million booty. In the recent real life event, we don't yet know all of the characters (and probably never will); the bad guys are not clearly delineated and were in possession of a staggering $134.5-BILLION of bearer bonds.
According to Asia News (http://www.facebook.com/l/;http://www.asianews.it/index.php?l=en&art=15456&size=A) "Italy's financial police (Guardia italiana di Finanza) has seized US bonds worth US 134.5 billion from two Japanese nationals at Chiasso (40 km from Milan) on the border between Italy and Switzerland. They include 249 US Federal Reserve bonds worth US$ 500 million each, plus ten Kennedy bonds and other US government securities worth a billion dollar each.
"Italian authorities have not yet determined whether they are real or fake, but if they are real the attempt to take them into Switzerland would be the largest financial smuggling operation in history; if they are fake, the matter would be even more mind-boggling because the quality of the counterfeit work is such that the fake bonds are undistinguishable from the real ones.
"What caught the policemen's attention were the billion dollar securities. Such a large denomination is not available in regular financial and banking markets. Only states handle such amounts of money.
"The question now is who could or would counterfeit or smuggle these non-negotiable bonds..."
This sure sounds like a huge financial story to me. Why hasn't the mainstream press in the US reported on it? It's either the largest counterfeiting scam in history, which is a big story; or it is real, which makes it even more important. Is the US government killing the story?
Soon after the European police and press investigated the bust, German newspapers began reporting that the $134.5-billion bearer bonds are, in fact, real.
The problem for the US is that US bearer bonds have not been issues by the Treasury sine 1982. Umm, what? Then where the hell did these securities come from? Are they being issued by the Treasury without the knowledge of Congress? Golly gee, Treasury wouldn't act on its own accord - would it? Well, come to think of it, Treasury
has been acting as if it can do whatever it wants: forcing shotgun corporate marriages, demanding & receiving TARP, breaking the Constitution daily - why wouldn't Treasury issue bearer bonds without public knowledge?
But why would it do such a thing? It's not as if the US is in a financial bind is it? Oh wait, yes it is. Therefore, the nefarious motivations of Treasury are endless.
There was a "shadow banking" system run by Wall Street for years - why not a "shadow public debt" system? Is the Treasury spending additional sums of money beyond what the lemmings are being told by the White House and Congress? Is it CIA cash?
Or was it something else? What may just be a coincidence, yet odd nonetheless, is the EXACT amount of money seized: $134.5-billion. How much money is left in the TARP slush fund? And this money was headed for Switzerland. What's in Switzerland besides good chocolate and great watches? Banking! I am not a believer in conspiracy theories but this could surely fuel the PPT crowd. Was the money going to a Swiss bank account run by the US government to buy securities to drive the Dow to 10,000? Or was this money needed to cover purchases already used to engineer the current rally? If so, what happens now that the money has been confiscated?
I think the only one who can get to the bottom of this mess is John McClain and I want to hear him say "Yippee-ki-yay, motherf**ker" one last time.
One Man, Many Taxes, 365 Days Day 173: The Getting Married Tax
I can't let June pass without talking about the getting married tax. Counties across the nation charge a hefty little price for a piece of paper called a marriage certificate. God doesn't require a marriage certificate to recognize a UNION BETWEEN A MAN AND A WOMAN, but your county seat does.
Now the laws about requiring a marriage license differs from place to place. Wedding towns like Las Vegas, NV; Eureka Springs, AR; and Hot Springs, AR; basically require a payment to the county. Some counties have stricter requirements, but anyway you look at it, a marriage license is simply a tax you must pay to get married.

Nancy Pelosi is on the Fast Track to Kill the Economy and Rob You of Your Money
If you have been listening to Mark Levin this evening, he has exposed where Speaker Pelosi has moved to get the 1200 page cap and bill trade passed this week in Congress without allowing a national debate to expose what is in the plan. As of right now, according to Levin, they are eight votes shy of getting it passed, but Pelosi and the Democrats are waving all sorts of temptations in front of any of eight Congressman that waivers from their planned no vote. To put it bluntly, any of eight Congressman that moves towards Pelosi are making a deal to deliver our country further in hell.
Cap and Trade will cost all Americans severely. Not only will it tax corporations who exceed their carbon output which will be passed along to consumers in higher prices, it will also drive up energy costs. The average consumer will pay over $2000 more per year in energy costs based on many studies that have been conducted. This will kill our economy as well as rob you out of more of your hard earned pay, but Pelosi doesn't care about you. That's why she has moved to vote on this four days after the bill was printed for the Congress to read. I am just sick by what continues to take place in Washington DC.
Massachusetts Health Care Reform

nationalized health care that works like the Massachusetts reform of
2006. Unfortunately, in comparisons you don't read about in our
Department of Propaganda outlets, it's not quite working out like Mitt
Romney planned when he signed the law. Oddly enough state subsidized
insurance has gone up at almost twice the rate of normal health
insurance nationally, and the tax subsidies aren't enough to keep it
going so they are going to have to raise taxes - did I mention waiting
lines to obtain care? Yea, they've got that too. What a great
prototype for the National Health Care (was this called the Matthew
Shepard Roto-rooter Health Care Bill or am I getting that mixed up with
something else the government elite are trying to force down our
throats? Wait, did I say Barney Frank and force down our throats in the
same paragraph? I won't be able to sleep tonight.). If you check
Washington D.C. - this will show up on national maps as fuzzy gray spot
and may be labeled Twilight Zone - you will find that both the Dems and
the Republidems are pointing to the Massachusetts plan as a model for
the Federal plan.

Ratings Continue to Fall at CBS News: Less than 2% of America Watches CBS News
The CBS News, once the most trusted source of news in American under the helm of Walter Cronkite, continues to reach new lows. Last week, they attracted 4.89 million viewers, and in the most important 25 to 54 year old viewers, they only attracted 1.42 million viewers. When you consider they are reaching less than two percent of total Americans and their news service doesn’t require a subscription, CBS should consider a game show or sitcom in the evening news slot. Here’s an idea:
How about a game show called Are You Smarter than Obama? Where CBS finds average Americans and ask them first-grade level questions.

Obama’s presidential approval index has fallen to zero. Obama has officially become a divisive leader according to the latest Rasmussen Poll.
33% of American polled they strongly approve of the way Obama is handling his job. 33% of Americans strongly disapprove of Obama’s job performance. This cancels out each other leading to his zero index rating, since the number is figured from subtracting the disapproval from the approval. This is the lowest index in the daily poll since Obama took office. It took just a couple days more than six months for Obama to fall. The number has fallen over 40 points in that time. CRASH!
Japan's Nissan to Get US Loans to Build Green Cars: No New US Jobs Created
What happened to we are out of money—words Obama exclaimed a few weeks ago? It’s not stopping the federal government from lending money it doesn’t have. In fact, the US Department of Energy announced they are lending money to Japan’s Nissan to build greener, fuel efficient vehicles. Does this make any sense?
The United States claims it’s trying to save General Motors and they have obviously thrown billions at GM in exchange for control of the company. Obama has cited that this is an attempt to save jobs and a company that that contributes the size of the American economy—yet his own Energy Secretary has agreed to lend money to a competitor of General Motors that isn’t an American company that won’t be adding any American jobs.
Nissan plans to produce a battery powered car with a range of 100 miles. Oh joy! Can’t wait to plan the family vacation road trip to Rolla, Missouri this year. The 100-mile-range car will be produced in Japan with money borrowed from the US Government—whose own leader says is out of money. What sense does this make? If we are going to lend money to foreign competitors shouldn’t there be an agreement to create American jobs when the agreements are made?
This is coming out of the same administration who promises 600,000 new jobs in 100 days. They don’t seem to be off to a good start. Here was a chance to add at least a few hundred jobs to their tally, and once again Obama drops the ball. What an insult to Americans who are out of work! Nissan said in the future they will consider producing the car in Tennessee, which obviously isn’t good news for Americans looking for work.
Ford and Tesla have will also receive loans.

I don't know whether to laugh or throw a chair at my TV when I watch the weather forecasts these days. Up here in the Great Northland the average temperature has been 7.6 degrees lower per day than average for the month of June. 15 or 20 years ago we would have strings of 10 or 12 days in a row with temperature over 100, the last two years they had to track days over 90 because we didn't have any days over 100. Last night during the weather report they are warning us because we may have a couple of days over 80, so far we've had two this year. They are saying that at 81 degrees and 92% humidity it could feel like 100 degrees so we should be careful and not go outside if you don't have to, restrict your outdoor activities and not do anything strenuous. I guess we now have to worry because we could die from overheated feelings.
I just saw an advertisement for a book debunking scare science written by a couple of Brits. Facts you just don't hear from the "we're all going to die if we keep on being productive" crowd that runs most of the media in the US. The polar bear population has doubled since 1950 - how could that be with all the poor drowning polar bears being washed out to sea on broken off ice flows? The penguin population has remained stable. The level of the worlds seas is actually dropping, especially in Tuvalu in the Pacific - the spot chosen by the enviro fascists as being the first that will drop under the waves as we are all inundated with the water from the melting ice caps. Speaking of melting ice caps, especially the Artic, have you ever filled a glass with ice and the topped it off with water and waited for the ice to melt? Try it sometime - the glass doesn't overflow, the water level drops. One of God's little miracles, water is the only fluid in the world that expands as it freezes, meaning it floats and it takes up less volume than liquid water.
You might want to check out the book - "Global Warming And Other --------: The Truth About All Those Science Scare Stories" by Stanley Feldman and Vincent Marks, two science professors - guess the English haven't been able to keep thinking people out of institutions of political correctness. Seems like pretty interesting stuff - did you know that the CO2 levels of the atmosphere have been as much as 10 time higher than they are now, many times, and yet here we are. Like I said, I don't know whether to laugh or scream - check out the truth and then like me you can wonder why no one is discrediting the lies being put forth by the Left.
Obama's Healthcare Plan Provides a Different Set of Rules for Unions: Unions Get to Keep Their Health Care Benefits
Obama will begin speaking on the subject of Universal Healthcare form the White House Rose Garden. One thing Obama probably won’t tell you is that the unions will not be subject to the same mandatory nationalized healthcare reform laws that he will hold the rest of the nation to with the exception of Obama’s own—federal politicians who will also vote to keep themselves with healthcare rights greater than yours. Unions and their members will not pay nationalized healthcare taxes under Obama's plan.
Now let’s think about this for a minute. Once again we see that Obama doesn’t see that all men are created equal in the United States. Apparently the unions are more important than the rest of us. It makes you wonder what the unions have over Obama, or how much illegal campaign cash did the unions generate for the Obama campaign. The policies coming from the Obama administration towards the union continue to show Obama empowering the unions. Eventually the day will come when this union exception will force more jobs overseas as the reality of a union employer paying higher taxes to pay for nationalized health care combined with union benefits will force the employer to say enough. I am moving the factory to Mexico.

Ed McMahon Dead at 86
In the summer months, I would love staying up and hearing that familiar voice calling, “heeeeerrrrrre’s Johnny” with the familiar fanfare music following. I’d stay up long enough for the monologue and a skit. If the nights were cool enough in the summer, I would soon be asleep. I love watching those videos now. Late night television died the night Johnny Carson retired.
Throughout all those great memories I will remember Ed McMahon not for being Johnny’s sidekick and the subject of many of his jokes, not for the envelopes with his face on it saying that I may already be a millionaire, and not for Star Search. I will remember McMahon most for what he wanted to be remembered as—a great Marine. Semper Fi Ed!

19 June 2009: Good morning America! On June 3, either an attempted attack on the economy of the U.S. on an unprecedented scale was narrowly averted–or a criminal conspiracy involving the U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve that would legitimize the most radical of globalist conspiracies of all time–was exposed. In either event, a deliberate media blackout was employed in the U.S. When news of the event gained traction in the foreign media, the U.S. media was compelled to report it as well, but only after facts could be changed and damage control employed by the highest levels of the U.S. government, aided and abetted by faceless global powerbrokers.
The event involves the smuggling of $134.5 billion in U.S. government bearer bonds, which by no coincidence, happens to be the exact amount remaining in the U.S. Troubled Asset Relief Program [TARP] as announced by the Department of the Treasury on March 30, 2009.
But the beginning of this story should go back to September 18, 2008, the day when a now, all but forgotten rare money market run nearly destroyed the entire US economy.
In the words of Paul Kanjorski, Democrat member of Congress from Pennsylvania, to C-SPAN’s Washington Journal on January 27, 2009:
“On Thursday at about 11 o’clock in the morning, the Federal Reserve noticed a tremendous drawdown of money market accounts in the United States, to the tune of $$550 billion was being drawn out in a matter of an hour or two. The Treasury opened up its window to help. It pumped $105 billion in the system and quickly realized that they could not stem the tide. We were having an electronic run on the banks. They decided to close the operation, close down the money accounts and announce a guarantee of $250,000 per account so there wouldn’t be further panic out there.”
Now, getting back to the smuggling of $134.5 billion in U.S. government bearer bonds:
Even as we report this, the story is continuing to evolve, not by erroneous first reports, but by the deliberate scrubbing and sanitizing of facts. Not only are the facts being scrubbed, but the perpetrators are disappearing just like a murderer who attempts to scrub clean the blood from the crime scene. But even the best attempts are never enough to rid all traces of the crime.
Since this crime was initially reported in the German and Japanese media exactly one week ago, professional investigators from the Northeast Intelligence Network and veteran journalists from Canada Free Press teamed up to uncover as many facts about this case as possible. During the course of our investigation, we quietly contacted and interviewed a number of law enforcement and intelligence sources from three countries on two continents. Exhaustive research into not only the facts of this case, but into related areas and historical events was also performed during our coordinated investigation.
The following represents our initial but very disturbing findings, with additional information promised to follow.
The Crime
On Wednesday, June 3 2009, Italian police arrested two “unidentified Japanese nationals” illegally crossing the border from Italy into Switzerland carrying $134.5 billion dollars in US government bearer bonds in a false-bottomed briefcase. The men were arrested in Chiasso, on the border between Italy and Switzerland by Italy’s financial police (Guardia Italiana di Finanza).
The securities confiscated by authorities were identified as follows: 249 certificates worth $500 million each, and ten certificates, further identified as “Kennedy Bonds” worth $1 billion each. A bearer bond is a debt security issued by governments or large corporations, and is much like cash because it does not require any ownership registration, thus providing anonymity to those possessing such an instrument. The large face amounts and the anonymity of ownership obviously make bearer bonds enviable to possess. In this case, the bonds were reportedly issued by the U.S. government.
It is relevant to note here, however, that such bearer bonds have not been legitimately issued by the U.S. Treasury Department since 1982, at least according to public reports by the U.S. Treasury. This is important to point out due to the reasonable speculation that there is not $134.5 billion of bearer bonds left in the market, thus bringing up the possibility that the bonds in the possession of the two men are counterfeit. This possibility, as it turns out, is extremely important to the U.S. for two reasons. First, it would mitigate the potential impact on the U.S. economy by asserting that the bonds are indeed counterfeit. Secondly, it would provide the U.S. Federal Reserve a vital alibi for a much larger crime being perpetrated on the American people. That crime would be the secret, “off-the-books” issuance of securities to other nations to finance deficits, among other purposes.
The latter would provide a great deal of legitimacy to the so-called conspiracy theorists who have suspected such illicit activity involving the U.S. money supply, the Federal Reserve, and the direct involvement or complicity of numerous U.S. administrations over the last 75-plus years. The ramifications of this scenario would be extreme.
To give the reader of this report an idea of the enormity of the amount of securities possessed by the two men, consider that the value of the bearer bonds would be equivalent to the Gross Domestic Product of New Zealand. Possession of the bonds would also make these men the fourth largest creditor of the U.S. Again, $134.5 billion happens to be the exact amount remaining in the U.S. Troubled Asset Relief Program [TARP] announced by the Department of the Treasury on March 30, 2009.
The Perpetrators
Central to this aspect of the story are the two Japanese nationals who were caught “red handed” with the booty. According to official reports, they were caught as they traveled on a local train normally used by laborers traveling from Italy to Switzerland. They were well-dressed and carrying briefcases. Imagine, then, two well-dressed Japanese nationals carrying briefcases among a train load of Italian day laborers. Obviously, they were not attempting to avoid scrutiny by customs or border agents.
Who are these men and where are they now? Perhaps we might never know as both men are (surprise) reportedly MISSING.
Since we began our investigation, news reports have been published that provide many of the details and offer interesting possibilities. On June 17, 2009, an article by William Pesek titled Suitcase With $134 Billion Puts Dollar on Edge appeared on Bloomberg.com at this link. Joe Weisenthal of The Business Insider has published various reports and appeared on The Glenn Beck Program.
Meanwhile, the U.S. government has assured the media and the world that the bonds were indeed forgeries and that the Italian Mafia did it. That, of course, should be the end of it. It was all just a botched forgery attempt. There is nothing more to see here - move along, folks. And right on cue, the mainstream media is indeed, moving along.
Like no other time in America, before the truth gets swallowed up in time, the burning demand of We the People should be: “Show us the money!”
Obama and the FTC Moves to Hush Conservative Bloggers
The Obama administration will shut your blog down. It’s being done as the guise that gives the government the power to go after blogs that make false claims. Under a new initiative, the Federal Trade Commission will have the right to shut down a blog or Web site that makes a false claim. Well, that sounds like a good bit of consumer protection at first, but then you have to ask what exactly is a false claim.
We know recently the government has attacked Cheerios for making the claim Cheerios lowers you cholesterol. Although there is not conclusive proof either way, the government went out of their way to spank General Mills for even considering Cheerios as a cholesterol reducer. They claimed for them to make a claim, Cheerios would have to be considered a drug and go through the government red tape that companies like Pfizer. For a blogger who might not have deep pockets to contribute to Obama (pay off Obama) and his corruptocrats, you may soon find your blog removed from the Internet. The government who is out of money is going to create jobs for more bureaucrats to scan blogs looking for false claims. What is a false claim?
Will making the case Obama is a Muslim be considered a false claim, despite any evidence you present to the contrary? If you make a claim that Obama doesn’t meet the requirements as defined in the Constitution because he is not a naturalized citizen be considered a false claim? The timing of the FTC announcement, which appears to be another attack on the First Amendment concerns me. It’s your claim versus what a bureaucrat says is appropriate or not. This seems like the easiest path for Obama and his cronies to slow down and destroy the greatest threat to exposing Obama and his policies. We know the mainstream media who are bought and paid for by use of the White House and billions in bailouts aren’t going to present Obama in a negative light. More and more people are turning to blogs to find out the truth about Obama. The FTC will be used to hush bloggers.
Burqas Not Welcome in France: Middle Eastern Politically Correct Nonsense Stopped in France
Nicolas Sarkozy continues to amaze me. In the first joint speech to the French Parliament in 136 years by a French President, Sarkozy called for an end recognizing the customs of burqas, the cruel Middle Easter custom of covering women from head to toe in fabric.
"In our country, we cannot accept that women be prisoners behind a screen, cut off from all social life, deprived of all identity," Sarkozy said. "The burqa is not a religious sign, it's a sign of subservience, a sign of debasement—I want to say it solemnly," he said. "It will not be welcome on the territory of the French Republic."
Bravo Sarkozy! Time to get the double order of French Fries for the second week in a row. I am waiting for Obama to stand up to Sarkozy and defend the Middle Eastern practice. He covered Hillary up during their trip to the Middle East, which now that I think about it, really wasn’t a bad thing.
The World Has Gone Mad Since Obama Since Obama has Become President
Everywhere I look are signs that world leaders aren’t taking the presidency of Barack Obama seriously. In fact, it’s quite obvious no one thinks Obama has a backbone.
Just take a look at the news. Look at how many enemies of the United States are talking about using nuclear weapons against the United States. There’s two things that I have found sad about this. First, liberals including Barack himself believed that a different approach was necessary in dealing with those states who don’t like us. They actually believed that Obama calling for talks would bring an unknown form of peace, which obviously it hasn’t. The second thing I find sad is liberals still believe Obama’s words will make them love us.
North Korea is threatening to shoot a missile at Hawaii on July 4th. Al Qaeda looks to acquire nuclear weapons through hostilities with Pakistan to use against the United States, and of course Mahmoud Ahmedinejad will continue his drive, after he controls his population through force and fear, to acquire nuclear weapons. The wild west never saw a more vile bunch of villains, and the sheriff retired to Crawford, Texas. We are now left with the equivalent of Neville Chamberlain—words in history have always proven to be the weakest form of conflict prevention.
It’s not just the enemies of the United States who have gone mad either. Notice leaders in Europe are standing up to these threats while the leader of their ally from the West sticks his finger in the air and debates where the polls are going to head with each decision he has. When the leader of France sticks up to tyranny while the president has gone silent only reciting poll-safe words on a teleprompter, it’s easy to see the world has gone mad. Apparently they know in France the Coke song isn’t going to work against soulless beasts like Kim Jong Il, Al Qaeda, and Ahmedinejad.
What happened to the American belief that it is our duty to spread democracy and promote individual rights around the world. That it is our duty to point out tyranny the prevent humans from achieving and living life. Apparently it died on January 20, 2009 at noon. There was the real chance to spread democracy in Iran over the last week, and Obama is just now getting around to deliver a speech at the Rose Garden over Iran. A leader would have found a way to empower those who demand freedom in Iran so they can achieve their dream. This would have promoted more peace in the region than any great quote Obama reads from a teleprompter.
I can only hope Nicolas Sarkozy will knock Obama upside the head with some common sense about the dangers of the world the next time Obama vacations in France on the taxpayers dime. I am tired of watching World War III develop in front of my eyes while Obama heads to Broadway for a date costing taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Obama Revamps Healthcare Rhetoric: I Make Two Connections
The Obama administration sits preparing the rhetoric for the upcoming nationalized healthcare. Reports coming out say it’s going to be called ‘The People’s Healthcare Plan’ and it will use common technology terms as user friendly. As a technology connoisseur, I am starting to realize technology is not becoming friendlier but more controlling over our lives. Just look at the cameras on the street corners, the satellites capable of monitoring phone calls, and the latest news of the government looking to control blogs and other information on the net.
This is the way we need to look at Obama’s attempt to sell this as user friendly. Look around you and see how technology is being used to control the masses and make the connection with this health care plan.
There is another connection we can make as well if Obama calls it ‘The People’s Healthcare Plan.’ It makes me think of the People’s Republic of China—which isn’t an actual Republic nor is it fair to the people. Since China is about controlling its people from everything to how many dogs you can own to how many babies you can have, the word People’s scares me when it comes out of Obama the Socialist’s mouth.
If Americans allow Obama and the government to take over the healthcare system, there will be little the government can’t control over our lives. If you want healthcare, you will live the way the government wants you to live. You smoke—no treatment for you. You drink—forget about it. You eat a Twinkie—you don’t deserve open heart surgery. When the government rations care, what will you be willing to do to convince them you need to live. That’s control.
Congress Approves $423,500 to Study Why the Penis Deflates During Condom Application
The United States government is spending $423,500 to find out why men don’t like to wear rubbers. The research money was granted to Indiana University's Kinsey Institute. They could discover the answer to why young men hate wearing condoms by going to a used compact disc store and picking up a Sam Kinison CD for $6, of course that wouldn’t pay the bills at the Kinsey Institute. They have to take advantage of taxpayers to discover men don’t like to wear condoms because it’s inconvenient, doesn’t feel natural, and is messy. What else are they going to come up with? I guess they could include the gay community in their studies and include bug chasers—which are gay men who are looking to catch HIV to wear the disease like a badge of honor, but other than that, what is there? Maybe I left one out. After years of teaching condom use in the public schools, young men don’t like the taste of latex on their bananas.
The first stage of their study is called "Barriers to Correct Condom Use.” It will be a question and answer session. Do you mean after years of placing condoms on bananas there are still barriers to correct condom use in this country? How could the public schools have failed so miserably at something so simple? Oh, that’s right, the schools are federally funded and it all goes downhill from there.
"The second phase involves a laboratory study, and focuses on penile erection and sensitivity during condom application," reads the abstract from Drs. Erick Janssen and Stephanie Sanders, both of the Kinsey Institute. So the taxpayers, who Obama stood in front of and told the country we are broke, are going to borrow more money to study how stimulated the penis is during placing a rubber over it. Once again, get the Sam Kinison CD. “What’s the mask for?”
Is it really that hard to understand you begin slowly building the joys of passion to a level that it’s time—and then you suddenly stop, fumbling on the nightstand or a wallet for a package that looks like a Kentucky Fried Chicken wet nap, trying to tear the package which eventually takes clinching the package by your teeth to tear (which mixes the flavor of latex and spermicidal chemicals with siliva, and then roll this over the now deflated member. Forget Everything You Have Been Told About Global Warming, Fatties, and Smoking: It's About the Taxes not the Truth
Give me two Twinkies and a Ding Dong in fact. The Japanese showed that people who were considered chubby live six to seven years longer than really thin people.
"We found skinny people run the highest risk," said Shinichi Kuriyama. "We had expected thin people would show the shortest life expectancy but didn't expect the difference to be this large."
They studied 50,000 people between the ages of 49 and 70 over 12 years. Even smoking didn't come into play--there were little difference in the death rates and ages of thin non-smokers and thin smokers.
"There had been an argument that thin people's lives are short because many of them are sick or smoke. But the difference was almost unchanged even when we eliminated these factors," Kuriyama said.
Well now this should change everything, or at least provide some consideration in Washington before they start passing the next round of behavior taxes, right? Well recent satellite images over the poles show that ice is increasing and temperatures are dropping, but the debate on global warming has increased along with the cooler temperatures. You see, it was never about the temps. It was always about the taxes and control.
For those same reasons, Congress won't consider Kuriyama's research. Creating new taxes is more important than looking at evidence that may prove contrary to the taxes they wish to create. If they do look at it, well, they will just justify the current debate and then add an anorexia and bulimia tax and an exercise tax as well. Heck, they might as go as far as a salad tax and a veggie tax if this study gets into the doors of Congress. The price to stay fit may increase as Congress decides it may need to tax bicycles, fitness club memberships, and Nike running shoes. Maybe it's in the best interest not to mention this to Congress, because they will never provide truth when it comes to raising your taxes and creating new ones. Taxation always contains the element of dishonesty.

The Bible reads something that God put the animals on the earth for man, and somehow the government figured out like everything else, they need to regulate it. Some of the regulations make sense and are valid, and others push my buttons. Such is the fishing tax otherwise known as the fishing license.
In the state of Missouri, they begin taxing you to fish before you are an adult. I recall having to buy my own fishing license when I was 16. If you hunt in Missouri, you are required the proper tags even before you reach 16. So God provided the animals for man to nourish himself, and the government uses the animals to nourish itself through fees.
When I was 21, I took my girlfriend Amber down to Shell Knob to fish. We both decided not to purchase our fishing licenses--my first act of civil disobedience. Within the first to hours, Missouri's Shore Patrol was heading near our boat dock located in Shell Knob. We dropped our polls and headed up the steps back to my white Chevy Cavalier (I met Amber because she drove the exact same car). He left, but that was a fine I didn't want to pay, so I pay the $12 for a Missouri Fishing License now.
My Uncle Mark received a ticket just for baiting his kids hook. He didn't have a fishing pole and doesn't fish. He just helped out for a couple minutes at the wrong time, and bam Missouri Shore Patrol saw him and asked to see his fishing license--tax collectors in a boat so to speak.
I am heading down to Shell Knob today. I plan on doing a little crappie fishing, so I better get out of her. Have a great weekend!

Michelle Bachman continues to stand against ACORN. In protest to ACORN collecting census data, she refuses to answer any part of the census other than how many people live in her house.
Shelley Lowe, a census bureaucrat, quickly answered Bachman’s refusal citing she will be fined $5,000 for not answering the census, and you know this corrupt government ran by the Democrats would waste no time sending her the fine.
