Somthing to Think About all the Presidents and Especially Obama

My pastor at Second Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri is a presidential historian. His specialty is Abraham Lincoln, who he has shaped sermons around. Judging from his sermon today, he agrees the rights in this country, and he specifically mentioned the First Amendment and its relation to religion, are endangered in this country.

He said something quite profound from his studies of the presidents, and I think it is something we all need to understand with the current president considering his background coming from a single family and passed off to his white grandparents who he threw under the bus as typical white people.

Dr. John Marshall said, historically when the President of the United States makes a decision when the country morally divided, he has nearly always made the decision to resolve the issue based on childhood experiences. I think this explains why Obama continues to overreach (my words) and will continue to do so. It might also provide understanding of why Obama doesn't understand limits since he didn't have a father around who demonstrated limits. Just something to think about before you close your eyes tonight.

Obama's $24,000 Plus Date: And You Thought He was Just One Normal Guy

Why isn't Obama's attacks on John McCain's houses coming back to haunt him? He passed himself off as one of us as he accused John McCain of being rich and out of touch. Last night Obama spent $24,000 on a date with his armsy wife. I don't know abut you but I don't think I have spent a total of $24,000 in nearly twenty years of dating. Obama, he's just like one of us.

Of course Obama didn't spend $24,000 on the date. The money came from taxpayers. That's right, taxpayers paid for the $24,000 for the use of three jets. This doesn't include all the extras of the date. So that it would receive Camelot like coverage, Obama made sure the press was represented on the date. This guy wasn't ever an average Joe and he lied to everyone about it when he attacked the McCain's for their wealth. He is disgraceful, but what's more disgraceful is the taxpayers paying for his trip.

I hope you have the sense enough to laugh at Obama the next time he tell you and me that we need to live within our means. How could this guy be credible to anyone?

A Few Thoughts on the Murder of Abortion Doctor George Tiller

Abortion doctor George Tiller was shot in his Reformation Lutheran Church this morning in Wichita, KS. There is no justification for this--none at all. I have so many mixed thoughts about this.

The first is obvious--we aren't going to win the debate by allowing the radical side of the pro-life movement to take out these doctors who perform these evil procedures. Two evils don't make a right. In fact it's for this very reason the government likes to label the pro-life movement as possible domestic terrorists. It's also the reason peaceful protesters like Reverend Walter B. Hoye II faces jail time for coming to close to a clinic with his peaceful demonstration.

Yet, I am left to wonder how Dr. Tiller justified his life in the eyes of God knowing I am not to pass judgement on him. Tiller, a late-term abortion doctor, destroys the lives of God's greatest gift second only to salvation and eternal life provided by the sacrifice of his son on the cross--a baby. I wonder how one sits in church on Sunday and then goes to work on Monday to such an evil line of work. I'd feel too much guilt to come to church and continue down that road. It makes you wonder if the church had been preaching God's will if he still might be alive tonight. I know my church has a strong-peaceful pro-life message which I am proud of. I couldn't imagine sitting through it and then going to take the life of a soon-to-be newborn baby. It's times like these we should ask are our churches providing the right messages to its people. Dr. Tiller had has much right in that church as any other sinner, as we are all unpure in the eyes of God. In many churches, preachers preach around the truth. I just wonder if his life would have been spared had the same message been delivered in his church. I don't know that it hadn't. I just know that it would be hard to attend somewhere that had a consistent message that my church has on abortion without being moved to change your lifestyle.

I look to the left to point the finger at Christianity since it happened in a church. I am sure they already have started. This wasn't the act of a Christian. A Christian would have forgiven Tiller and worked with him to set him on the right path. That is God's will. All Christians should pray for Tiller and his family during their time of mourning.

His killer was caught on I-35 this afternoon, just over two hours after his murder. His identity had not been released by the Johnson County Sheriff's Department. This was the first murder of an abortion doctor since 1998.

Mitt Romney's Plan for GM Solid: Obama's Plan is About Control

Where does Obama get his money? The answer is not China in this case, but that's a good guess. Eventually, the money comes from the hard-working people of America. If that's the case, then Obama isn't the CEO nor is the government the owner of General Motors, which I have mentioned before in the past.



We don't pay taxes so a tyrant known as Obama can advance his resume and increase his power. That's exactly what he is doing as he has assumed power of General Motors. General Motors doesn't belong to the government. The government doesn't and should never own anything. Just like Reagan called the White House the people's house and he was fortunate to stay in the people's house, Obama doesn't how the White House nor does he and his cronies own General Motors contrary to their very arrogant belief.



It's about time someone of prominence began to address this. Today on Fox News Sunday, Mitt Romney set the record strait. He has a plan for GM, a plan that may make many American purchase Chevrolets and save the company.



Romney said the 70% which the government took over, unconstitutionally by the way, should be distributed to the taxpayers. That would make everyone who currently pays taxes part owner of General Motors. There is a similar model that takes place in the National Football League, and although General Motors is quite a bit bigger than the Green Bay Packers, the model works. The people of Green Bay own the Packers. Green Bay, the smallest market in the NFL with a population of just over 100,000 in the city and less than a quarter million in the metro area.



It is the people who own GM--not Obama, Geithner, and the rest of the power-hungry idiots in Washington. It was bought with our tax dollars, not with Obama's own personal money. For Obama to promote himself to such a position is wrong.



Of course Obama says he wants to sell the shares the government owns as soon as possible. I don't for one believe this is Obama's intention. For years, the Democrats have looked for ways to defeat the mighty American industrial machine with their wacko environmental policies designed to shift power and increase government revenue by taxing companies like GM by regulating their products with environmental regulations. Now they control them. Knowing how power hungry Obama is, I am skeptical that General Motors will ever change hands without a revolution--political revolution.



Let's look at two different companies. Why is it General Motors received only a fraction of the bailout money that General Electric--who claims to be an environmental friendly company these days led by SOCIALIST Jeffrey Immelt--being treated so much differently than General Electric? Cars are evil in Obama's mind. They allow freedom of movement which the government continues to show interest in controlling with various tracking devices and technology the seem to want to move forward with. Obama has made them private enemy number one, and he knows that if he can make cars much smaller than they are today, our movements are controlled even more. At this point we have to depend on the government for our transportation needs.



If we go to the airport to fly, the government runs background checks on us, they can turn on our computers and check our files, as they expose us to radiation to take x-rays that are so detailed our private parts are perfectly sized and shaped. These are infringements of freedoms that continue to empower the federal government.



If Obama controls auto manufacturing and puts us in the cars he wants, we will have to rely more on the government to provide train rides into our urban settings which many of us will be forced to. Urban settings like Chicago don't play by the rules established in the Bill of Rights. I realized living there you give up freedoms to be a part of the city.



This is the reality when you force a family of four and five into these little death traps called Smart Cars. Someone needs to remove Obama off his podium and present him with the reality check that the government doesn't own General Motors. Those shares were purchased with tax dollars of the people. If you want to realize how arrogant Obama is, consider his actions based on where the money came from. Romney is correct.

The Promised Most Transparent President in History Doesn't Want Any of Us Analyzing his Stimulus Spending

Why is Obama, who promised to be the most transparent president in the history of the office, restricting free speech when it comes to stimulus spending? The following text was taken off the White House blog and is written by Norm Eisen. (Hat Tip to MAinfo)

Following OMB’s review, the Administration has decided to make a number of changes to the rules that we think make them even tougher on special interests and more focused on merits-based decision making.

First, we will expand the restriction on oral communications to cover all persons, not just federally registered lobbyists. For the first time, we will reach contacts not only by registered lobbyists but also by unregistered ones, as well as anyone else exerting influence on the process. We concluded this was necessary under the unique circumstances of the stimulus program.

Obama and his administration will expand the restriction on oral communications to cover all persons. That's an interesting way of saying there will be limits on free speech, don't you think? And what does 'anyone else exerting influence on the process' mean? Does this mean anyone who disagrees with the administration. GUILTY.

Could I or fellow blogger brethren be in their sights? Right on the heels of yesterday's post on stimulus dollars not reaching the worse off states and areas, we have news that the White House may be on to this simple fact. Their answer to stimulus-spending critics? Shut 'em up. According to Norman Eisen, the Special Council to the President on Ethics and Government Reform, the White House is geared to unleash Gestapo-like tactics to confront nay-sayers head-on.

As more people criticize where the stimulus money is being spent--and it's obvious it's not being spent to create jobs as more jobs are being lost week after week--Eisen, special counsel to the president for ethics and government reform, delivers this coded language that says you are not to speak of the stimulus if you wish to benefit from any stimulus program. In other words, intolerance and criticism will not be tolerated if you have an application filed to receive stimulus funds.

Second, we will focus the restriction on oral communications to target the scenario where concerns about merit-based decision-making are greatest –after competitive grant applications are submitted and before awards are made. Once such applications are on file, the competition should be strictly on the merits. To that end, comments (unless initiated by an agency official) must be in writing and will be posted on the Internet for every American to see.

Third, we will continue to require immediate Internet disclosure of all other communications with registered lobbyists. If registered lobbyists have conversations or meetings before an application is filed, a form must be completed and posted to each agency’s website documenting the contact.

As you see any communication with lobbyists now must be disclosed by the federal government. What happened to privacy laws? I guess the protect Obama and a certain document that doesn't want to verify where he was born, but if you have any conversations with lobbyists, Obama and his cronies want to know.

This is clouding the transparency issue even more. It makes it look like there is transparency, but the transparency is of everyone but Obama and his cronies. Eisen writes 'in the spirit of transparency.' What a joke. We now have an administration that writes of restricting free speech. If you want any of the stimulus money you best shut your mouth.

Well May was eventful if tax collecting is your job. In May, we discovered how Obama was going to get away with collecting more taxes from the middle class without a middle class tax hike. He is just going to create a lot of hidden taxes and then a national sales tax known as the Value Added Tax to pay for government sponsored 'free health care.' Come on American, haven't your realized yet free health care is an oxymoron? You are going to pay more under Obama's plan than what you are currently paying and you are going to get a lot less.

By the way, I want to thank my growing number of readers. BBCW have been flirting with 20,000 hits in a month for a couple months. We finally hit it in May. As if it's not bad enough they are being taught to communicate through messages of a 140 characters or less that are destroying their writing skills, they are also including naked snapshots of themselves in the text messages. Sexting led to the suicide of Jessica Logan and has sparked a national debate. These really are sad times when there are people in this country who claim abstinence is a bad word while promoting sexting because it doesn't involve physical touch.

6. A 911 operator refused to send an ambulance to a woman in need. Why? Because she used some foul language. Arrogance in government doesn't just come from the top. Just walk into the DMV sometime. Do you really want the same from your healthcare?

7. When you take $7 billion in bailouts, Obama micromanages your company. When you take $140 billion in bailouts, Obama positions you to be the bourgeois socialists driving the change. Obama picks the winners and the losers, and Obama positioned GE (with its NBC news) to lead the charge to socialized medicine with a little company nicely named Healthymagination. Perhaps you have seen the brainwashing commercials bombarding you on NBC channels.

8. I now have three Don't Tread on Me flags hanging in my garage. They will be publicly displayed once I install my flagpole. As I drive around the Ozarks, I am seeing more Don't Tread on Me Gadsden and Culpepper bumper stickers on cars. As we know, these have been labeled signs of domestic terrorism even though they are proud symbols of the American Revolution. A Louisiana man was pulled over and harassed for his Gadsden bumper sticker. Where has freedom of speech gone in America?

9. We have long known Disney has been associated with left-wing causes. The company has moved so far away from Walt's original vision. Disney start Miley Cyrus unofficially began speaking for the cyber-bully protection act earlier this month. This doesn't seem like a coincidence considering pop stars are tools to keep America's kids fat and stupid. The Hannah Montana show does a good job of that. Why do parents allow their children to come home and veg to the materialistic messages of shows like Hannah Montana? The cyber-bully protection act is another attack on the First Amendment.

10. Obama's forced community service act continues to concern Americans. Is it a forced draft? Even a couple months after its passage, Americans want to know more about how HR1388 will affect their lives and indoctrinate their children. By the way, if you haven't seen the first realities of HR1388 and watched the City Year recruitment video, you should. I think it explains what community service means to Obama and his cronies. One word describes it--militant.

Time Magazine and Newspapers Consider Charing for Online Content: Who Can Afford Such Luxuries with Obama in Office?

If it wasn't for waiting rooms, would anyone read Time Magazine anymore? What about Newsweek or any other left-slanted pro-Obama rag? That's the only time I pick them up.

Time Magazine is considering charging people to access the magazine online. Which is fine. They have that right--it's capitalism after all.

In a hint, Jeffrey Bewkes mentioned that many newspapers are drawing up plans to charge readers to for their content, and magazines need to consider this as well to offset the decline in ad revenue.

I have just one question for Bewkes and other newspapers and magazine owners. If Obama gets his way and nickel and dimes us with new taxes from the VAT to cap and trade to a new beer tax and a whole list of other taxes, who is going to have any money to read your rubbish? You better consider these things as your magazines and newspapers go out of their way to promote the idiot demagogue in the White House.

One Man, Many Taxes, 365 Days: Day 149 Paying for Barack and Michelle's Broadway Date

The city of Ozark, MO needs to give the Brickstone Ace Hardware store special recognition. If it wasn't for their superior service, many of my dollars would be headed to neighboring Springfield where the sales tax is considerably lower.

Well, yesterday we saw Obama's arrogance shine once again. As he tells the nation we're broke and that we need to start living within our means and drive cars that get close to 40 miles per gallon to save the environment, we see him load up two 747s on C-130 with a helicopter and a limo and head to Manhattan for a night on Broadway. In a few short years, you can go to Broadway, but you will be placed in a car where even Mini Me (Verne Troyer) from the Austin Powers will have his knees pressed against the dashboard with no place to put a suitcase for you and your date. The hypocrisy continues in the Obama White House and taxpayers of course of footing the bill for the travel so Barry and Michelle can go on a Broadway Date with no official business in Manhattan. They wanted to move to Washington, but they obviously don't like staying in Washington.

RNC Complains About the Price of Barry and Michelle's Date Night: Shouldn't the Greenies Be Complaining about Obama's Carbon Footprint

Obama's on pace to wear Air Force One out. After Air Force One's last fly over of New York, New Yorkers probably weren't happy to see the powder blue-painted 747 drop out of the sky and into JFK.

The RNC were quick to point out as many people continue to lose their jobs and GM files prepares for bankruptcy after Obama's failed bailout, that maybe isn't the time to live so lavishly. I am not even sure John and Cindy McCain live like this--what do you think Barry? You liked to attack them for how many houses they owned.

I understand the RNC complaint, but Obama is popular and I am not sure it's going to move people the other way. Obama continues to blame Bush to justify his arrogant behavior. Let us not forget that it was Obama who is really in charge of the bailouts. The second auto bailout has failed. Of course in Obama's eyes, now he controls GM, so I don't think he looks at it as failure. I hope Americans have the sense to steer clear of GM.

I wonder where the environmentalist are. As Obama tells us we need to shrink our carbon footprint and drive small, dangerous cars, he continues to rack up a carbon footprint that rivals Al Gore's. Consider date night on Broadway with Michelle Obama tonight--not my dream date by any means.

Obama flew a giant 747 into Manhattan and two other large aircraft accompanied him--probably a C-130 cargo plane with Marine One and the limo and the other Air Force One. We all know the costs to the taxpayers to fly to Manhattan is over $300,000 from the Air Force One photo op earlier this year. We also know that Air Force one has four jet engines that drink lots of fossil fuels. When Obama arrived at JFK, he was taken by helicopter to Manhattan. The carbon footprint increases. He thing got into a limo and drove to past Ground Zero to Times Square and eventually Broadway. This closed down the the road for Obama, leaving many motorist burning fuel waiting for NYPD to open the lane again. It's night's like this that make me despise Obama telling me I have to put my family in a little Smart Car like piece of junk and risk their safety to do my part for the environment. What a frickin' hypocrite, and if you environmentalists can't see what an idiot Obama is and what an insult he is to your cause enough to speak up and realize his lack of sincerity over your cause then you are as fake as he is.

I have long said the environmental movement for Democrats are so they can dig deeper into my and your pocketbook. You tree-hugging, global-warming-fearing environmentalist need to say something because Obama is making you look like hypocrites as well when you don't speak up and realize he isn't sincere about your environmental causes. Obama is your enemy. Obama is an enemy to the environmental movement. Obama is an environmental hypocrite. (By the way, my concern is I believe Obama is taking advantage of tax payers with his use of Air Force One.) Obama should have taken the train like Biden does.

Springfield, MO July 4 Fair Tax Tea Party Information

Now that Obama and his cronies are talking a national sales tax, we can't relax our efforts to send a message to Washington and continue to unite as one in protest of the direction Obama and Congress is taking this country. Obama's VAT tax is not a Fair Tax. It's on top of the already unfair federal income tax. So mark you calendars as tea parties across the United States gather on the Fourth of July.

Springfield, Missouri's Fair Tax Tea Party will be held July 4, 2009. It is sponsored by the local Fair Tax chapter and the Patriotic Resistance. As of right now, I have not found any official times, but I am hearing that it will start around noon. The Rally is at Heffington Optical 640 W. Chestnut, which is the same as the last rally. There will be additional parking provided by Forrest the owner of H-K & W tools.

They are expecting more people. There will be bands, food and drink, speakers, and a salute to the military. I would love to see a couple thousand people tell Obama and the Congress WE'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT. Give if a Dee Snider Twisted Sister snarl when you deliver those words to Dear Leader. Love Guns and Needles Kill More than Second Amendment

Phillipe Padieu bodily fluids are a deadly weapon according to a Collin County jury. According to the prosecution, Padieu knowingly infected six women with the HIV virus. This 'modern-day Casanova' claims he didn't knowingly spread the virus. Apparently the jury thought otherwise.

I am telling you this because Padieu's love gun has done more damage than over 95% of the guns legally owned by Americans in this country. Many anti-gun forces argue that owning a gun and participating in your Second Amendment right creates danger for just the owner. The gun owners I know aren't careless like Padieu and a who list of other carriers who like to shoot their love guns.

There is no equivalent among Second Amendment advocates of the bug chaser--that is no one wants to be a bullet chaser and get shot from a bullet of another man's gun. In the love gun world, a bug chaser is a person who intentionally engages in dangerous sex in hope to get the virus. I wonder how much bug chasers are costing American tax payers?

Here's an interesting fact taken from two government bureaucracies. Gun crimes, for the most part, have been on the decline since 1993. In 2005, 11,364 homicides was caused by a firearm. In comparison, the United States averages 17,000 deaths a year from AIDS and there are 800,000 to 900,000 carriers of the HIV virus or who have AIDS. Activities liberals advocate like promoting home sexuality, not teaching abstinence in the schools, promoting unhealthy and immoral lifestyles, and promoting legalization of drugs are causing far more damage than the Second Amendment. Yet we don't hear about love gun legislation or banning hypodermic needles. We only hear that we need to ban guns.

Why is that? Well, read the Second Amendment and then consider the direction which your country is headed under our new Marxist president. For socialism to work for leaders like Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot, and Mao, guns needed to be confiscated.

One Man, Many Taxes, 365 Days: Day 148 Chose Words Poorly

She chose her words poorly. That's Obama's excuse for Sonia Sotomayor's comments that Latino women make better judgements that white men. Something tells me Obama wouldn't be so forgiving a Republican made a racial comment directed towards him or the gun-grabbing Sotomayor.

It's been another eventful week for our Marxist president. After admitting the US is broke, he justified his big government programs and then his people hinted at a national sales tax on top of the federal income tax. I have one question to ask you. I represent the average Joe six-pack. Look at how many dollars I have paid in taxes this year. I know many of you have paid more since I live in an area in Missouri which are still low. Still over 40% of my income has gone to the government. If Obama pushes and passes a VAT tax, that number will move closer to 60%. How many of you are going to want to go to work if 60% of your check goes to some idiot in Washington, or in your state capital, or your city government. Let me put it another way for you.

So far this year I have worked over 856 hours. 342.4 of those hours have been taken from me without reward for my efforts to pay taxes. If Obama and the Democrats get their way with the VAT tax, that changes to 470.8 hours of my work would have gone to pay taxes. What's the point of working once they get over 50%? There's no incentive. That doesn't mean I want to suck of Obama and his Marxist regime by any means, but let's be realistic. Who wants to work 40 hours a week if you are going to be paid for less than 20 of those hours? Not me! Obama can go stick it you know where!

Government Motors Debuts First Obama Approved Car

Well, this is what we can expect from Government Motors--formerly General Motors. These are the cars Obama wants us driving. This is what GM is going to retool a factory currently making larger cars and trucks for. So America, what do you think of the heartbeat of the changed America? I know I bought my last General Motors product. I wonder of Bob Seger will be singing Like a Rock for a car that can be crushed by a rock.

Obama Goes to Another Burger Joint and Realizes His Ignorance of US Intelligence Agencies

Don't you just love how the Democrats want to tax fast food to pay for health care, yet for the second time in just over a month, taxpayers fund Obama's photo op to a fast-food hamburger joint. He's one of us--at least that's what these overpriced trips are to get you to believe.

Let's face it. Obama's on a tight schedule--so tight that a busload of kindergarten kids from Virgina were refused entry into the White House and from meeting the demagogue because they were ten minutes late. Any time Obama does something, it's not on the spur of the moment. There is planning involved. They have to put people in the right places to ensure his security. These $6 hamburgers that his ballerina boy chief of staff and a couple secret service agents could pick up in a matter of minutes and bring them back to the White House are costing taxpayers a lot of money. They are nothing but pathos to make the American people believe he is one of us.

Today's photo op provided us with more insight into Obama's ignorance. Apparently he doesn't pay attention to the top-secret military briefings. Consider this awkward exchange with Walter.

Obama: What do you do Walter?

Walter: I work at, uh, NGA, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency

Obama: Outstanding, how long you been doing that?

Walter: About six years

Obama: Yea?

Walter: Yes.

Obama: You like it?

Walter: I do, keeps me...

Obama: So explain to me exactly what this National Geospatial...uh...

Walter: Uh, we work with, uh, satellite imagery..

Obama: Right

Walter: [unintelligible] ...support systems, so...

Obama: Sounds like good work.

Walter: Enjoy the weekend.

Obama: Appreciate it.

Notice Obama quickly realizes his ignorance shines through when he substitutes intelligence for a famous Obama 'UH.' In this case, the UH is for "uh, crap I should know this stuff."

This photo op was with Brian Williams of NBC News. Yes, the same NBC news bought and paid for by the Obama administration with $140 billion in bailouts to NBC's parent company GE. I wonder what the meeting entailed; perhaps, Obama told Williams how he wants the news slanted in his favor during dinner and reminded him of the $140 billion in bailouts to his buddy Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of GE. One can only speculate in these matters, but obviously Obama loves buddying up to the media for a hamburger which in a couple of years will be taxed beyond reach for us normal folks.

Government Motors is taking shape--a small shape. Days away from a bankruptcy while their stock continues to plummet (over 25% today--it closed at 75 cents a share), Obama's influence is apparent. Not just in the lack of confidence from a failed Obama bailout, but in its decision to stop building GM's largest vehicles in one of its factories (the cars the majority of Americans who know Al Gore is full of crap want) to make sub-compact cars (cars Americans don't want to drive and that don't seat a family of five).

Yes the maker of once proud labels like Corvette, Camaro, Chevelle, Suburban, Coup De Ville, and Silverado has been reduced not just in industry presence but in cars which will have no heartbeat. Chevrolet and General Motors is no longer the 'Heartbeat of America.' They now represent Obama's Marxist ideology that believes the government can do it better. The government has already made its mistake with this one. Americans don't want these cars Obama wants to force upon us. We will rebel by removing their Calvin pissing on a Ford emblem to driving the Ford emblem or hanging on to their souvenirs, the old models, of what was once a great American symbol--that is until the Obama police state takes them away from us.

I recently read an article at a Russian site that parallels many of the thoughts I have been trying to get my readers to understand for the six months I have been writing this blog. The article says America's descent into Marxism is happening at breathtaking speed. There are reasons for the descent, many of them I have touched out. It's interesting to have this validation from a writer who obviously is well versed in Marxism, considering the 70 years of Communism in Russia.

American capitalism gone with a whimper

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a Burger King burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.

So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.

Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper.
So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Frank, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.

The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.

The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

Network News Viewership Reaches New Low: Less than 20 Million Americans Tune In

The total number of Americans turning away from the biased network news continues to increase. According to Tom Blumer on News Busters, the week of May 18 set a record for the worst ratings week for the three networks’ newscasts. Americans watching NBC, CBS, and ABC’s nightly news has plummeted 25% since the Obamathon in January. Under 20 million Americans watched Brian Williams, Katie Couric, and Charlie Gibson combined.

I can’t say I am saddened by this news, as long as Couric doesn’t go online and beg for a bailout I am perfectly fine with it. We know William’s network has already seen benefits of a $140 billion bailout through its parent company GE. We don’t need the Obama administration to purchase more favorable coverage through more bailouts at the taxpayer’s expense.

Sotomayor isn't Consistent with Obama's Answer at Saddleback

Enter Sonia Sotomayor, Obama’s first Supreme Court pick. Over half of her opinions have been overturned because of her lack of understanding of the Constitution—or is that her decision not to follow the limits established on the Constitution. She has ruled against the First Amendment as she punished a high school girl who was prevented from serving on the student government of her high school after she called the administrators douche bags on her blog. She said the Second Amendment doesn’t give people the right to own guns.

Considering Obama’s answer at Saddleback last August, we should be scared if Sotomayor is his answer for someone who Obama sees as interpreting the Constitution correctly.

Judge Clarence Thomas has written some beautiful opinions which have been consistent with Constitutional law. As a legal thinker, his opinions prove Obama quite wrong. This isn’t about nor has it ever been about the Constitution. Obama is well beyond the limits of the Constitution, and he needs an anti-Constitutionalist activist judge to provide him power. Sotomayor is inconsistent with his answer at Saddleback.

Organizing for America: Obama's Personal Political Action Committee

Day after day, we see the iron fist of the soft tyrant exhibited. We have long known Obama planned to use an army of electronic volunteers, and now that army has a name—Organizers for America. The Barack Obama Web site has become the hub for Obama’s volunteer army. No other President has started their own political action committee. It's about the power.

Their mission, which was also teleconferenced on Air Force One from his recent campaign fundraising trip, appears on the front page of the site. The site takes contributions for the PAC. A button asks you to Declare Your Support for Dear Leader and his PAC.

The site begins collecting all sorts of information about you and eventually asks you to contribute in the end. The Obama PAC wants you to contribute to get something passed that should have no problem passing considering the majority in the House and the Senate. Obama loves free money, and he and his cronies love discussing new ways to get into your pocket with new taxes to pay for the convoluted idea which will rob Americans of quality healthcare. It has robbed people of healthcare in every nation it’s been tried.

I recently heard a story where former Prime Minister of Canada Brian Mulroney’s mother needed emergency open heart surgery. Mulroney had only been a regular citizen of Canada for a short period of time, but his status as a former Prime Minister gave him no favors. His mother was put on a list which would have taken several weeks for her to finally get treated. Mulroney flew his mother to Minnesota where she was immediately treated. Obama wants to move us to the Canadian and European system which this is the norm. He wants to screw Canada’s solution to quality health care—go to the States. Most importantly Dear Leader Obama wants to screw our healthcare system up so he can continue to acquire power no president is intended to have.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Learns Politics from the Democratic Party

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian mad man, has taken a lesson from the Democratic party and groups like ACORN. In two weeks Ahmadinejad faces an election that will determining his and Iran's future. Like Democrats use cigarettes and then bus people to the polls after signing them up 75 times to vote, Ahmadinejad is buying votes with potatoes. It's unclear if ACORN is helping the radical, and soon to be Obama buddy, with getting people signed up to vote, but we are assuming Obama may offer ACORN for temporary use for Mahmoud in exchange for a talk, a photo op, and a couple of years of peace so Obama can claim talking works.

Ahmadinejad has handed out 400,000 tons of potatoes to the poor. I wonder if Columbia University dedicated any of the spuds? His opponents have been heard yelling Death to Potatoes! I expect Obama will take notes as to how Ahmadinejad handles the dissent after the election.

Little by Little, Obama and the Government Acquires More of GM

What started out as a minority of shares has grown into a huge majority. If Obama was serious that he didn't want to run the car companies, then why is he going to control over 70% of GM after it comes out of bankruptcy? We have been fleeced.

Remember a government of the people, by the people, for the people? I guess it doesn't apply to the Obama administration. Once GM leaves bankruptcy court the United States government will control 72.5% of General Motors with the UAW controlling 17.5%. The government did it with money that you earned and will earn in the future, and there are more taxes coming to pay for these bailouts, stimulus plan, the Obama not-so-free healthcare program, and Obama's control of General Motors. What are the taxpayers going to get out of this 72.5%?

They aren't going to get any dividends if it ever GM ever becomes profitable again. You can bet any profits created by GM will somehow get funneled to the Democratic Party. Leave it to a party called the Democrats to kill any resemblance of democracy.

Do you think any jobs are coming out of this? Don't count on it. General Motors is leaving the United States as more jobs go to Mexico, China, South Korea, and South America.

So tell me what are the peoples part in Obama's hostile takeover of General Motors. Oh, that's right, we are expected and will be forced to to buy these six foot long jokes that Obama will force upon us to drive. Those cars are for the people and will be driven of the people in Obama's sick world while Malia and Sasha ride around in comfortable SUVs. I know I will be buying my car, a huge gas guzzler, from a junk yard before I buy any car Obama is associated with.

What a week it’s been. Obama has been given three days since Monday was a holiday and it’s amazing what continues to come out of Washington. I wish that was the highlight of the week, but it’s not.

Every time I think it can’t get any worse with Obama, it gets worse.

Economists are predicting that we will be in recession until the end of the year and it will actually return to a recession after a brief glimpse of recovery. Other economist warn of hyperinflation on the horizon due to the Federal Reserve’s irresponsibility with interest rates and printing money. Obama tells us you ain’t seen nothing yet. I’m starting to wish I was blind. Our country is on a path to failure and all Obama has is lies to make us feel good. The sad thing is some people are actually falling for it.

Love Letters for Obama?: Letter About Marriage Gets Reporter Hauled Away by the Obama Police State

A reporter was manhandled by Secret Service for attempting to deliver a letter to kind Dear Leader Obama. Brenda Lee, a reporter with White House Credentials, who writes for the Georgia Informer was dragged by her hands and feet away from Air Force One.

She had a letter for Obama asking him to stand up for traditional marriage and asked the Secret Service to give Dear Leader the letter. They told her to give it to a White House staffer.

She refused and said she would take her chances to give it to Obama if he got close enough.
The Secret Serviceman became annoyed with her and asked her to leave. They escorted her out, but she was allowed to return. When the original Secret Service men saw her again, they dragged her away from Air Force One carrying the journalists.

Come on. Obviously this woman was screened for any weapons that may threaten Dear Leader Obama. She had a note—a note. I have a feeling we are going to see more of these instances as legislation geared towards removing free speech from our way of life. They are going to have to carry me away kicking and screaming for my free speech rights, and that is all this journalist wanted to practice. It was just a letter—a letter. She had been screened before ever getting that close and Obama was ten minutes away.

Sotomayor Ruled Enemy Combatants have Same Rights as Americans

Sotomayor had a huge affect on how we prosecute terrorists in this country. In 2002, Sotomayor said enemy combatants which we capture on the battlefield have the same rights as any of us in the United States (Alex Jones Show, May 28, 2009). Her decision was overturned, but it first shows you how radical Sotomayor is. It also shows that Rush Limbaugh is correct in his observation that Sotomayor is a mirror image of Obama. Finally, it once again shows her disregard for our country and our Constitution.

Even though here decision was eventually overturned, you can see how damaging her opinion has been to the security of our country and its fight against terrorism.

This woman is dangerous and is unfit to serve upon the court. At this time, we know she has ruled against the First and Second Amendments, admitted that judges legislate from the bench, and has stated an opinion that enemy combatants are entitled to the same rights that Americans are entitled to. These same rights Stotomayor wrote of in her decision are rights not even granted to our military personnel. Our military surrenders their rights to the Uniform Code of Military Justice when they join.

Obama's Arrogance Claims He's the Best Since FDR

By now, you have heard about Obama's 'you ain't seen nothing yet' comment as he stroked his ego as the economy shows no major signs of any type of strong recovery. In fact on the same day he went to LA, economist say they see no more than 2% annual growth for many years to come. What kind of recovery is this? Obama attacked on the economy for growth that averaged 2.2% over Bush's eight years. The news didn't stop at the 2% prediction. Economist also told Americans they should get used to higher unemployment numbers as many jobs aren't coming back. With all this bad news, Obama thinks too highly of his job performance. I bet it's going to bite him in the butt one day, but by that time, the damage will be done.

Obama actually went on further stroking his huge ego. He said he "would put these first four months up against any prior administration since FDR." Why is it the American people don't see this arrogance as they lose their jobs, houses, 401K plan, their industry, their freedoms, and THEIR COUNTRY. Of course, when you look back at FDR, he was a failure until the Japanese bailed him out on December 7, 1941.

These haven't been the best four months. Look around you. GM and Chrysler is in bankruptcy after a failed Obama bailout plan. Job losses hit a 25 year high after Obama committed to spend trillions to create jobs. Inflation is up after Obama continues to print money and there is a possibility of hyperinflation, and many countries are looking to drop the dollar as the international exchange currency. If these are the best four months since FDR, this country is in real trouble.

** Earlier it was reported that the Obama Administration may have targeted GOP donors in deciding which Chrysler dealerships would have to close their doors.

** Last night it was discovered that a Big Dem Donor Group was allowed to keep all 6 Chrysler dealerships open.... And, their local competitors were eliminated.

** The Auto Task Force, which includes Obama cabinet members, is reportedly calling the shots on which dealerships will close and stay open.

** The closings in several instances appear to benefit Dem donating dealers where local GOP-linked dealerships were closed.

** Even Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-Fla) lost his Chrysler dealership in Florida and found out from a colleague on the House floor.

** Lithia Motor Group's owners gave $15,000 to two Democrat candidates and support nationalized healthcare. They will likely lose just two of 29 dealerships and gain 5 more.

** One report claims the odds that these Chrysler closings occurred without partisan bias are less than 1%.

Now this...

Automotive News is reporting that Chrysler is already looking to open new franchises after closing 789 dealerships.

Chrysler did more last week than thin the dealer ranks in clogged metro markets. Chrysler also took out some underperforming dealers, leaving some good smaller markets without any Chrysler stores.

Chrysler President Jim Press said the company will be back in those markets.

Chrysler has been managing its dealer count downward in overdealered metro markets, a program called Project Genesis.

Of course, several of the dealerships that were closed had owners who happened to donate to Republicans and a number of these businesses were profitable "5 Star" dealerships.

The task force, headed by investment banker Steven Rattner, is comprised of Cabinet members and Obama administration officials who have extensive backgrounds in finance. They include Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, Energy Secretary Steven Chu, Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, Office of Management and Budget Director Peter Orszag and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson.

No wonder they're closing the GOP-linked dealerships.

Now we find out the Obama’s buy $500 tennis shoes, rent multiple condos when they go on Hawaiian vacations, and live a life much similar to the McCain’s. It goes way beyond material possessions. Obama says things like he doesn’t want to run the auto industry to disguise his true motive of not just running it including cutting Chrysler’s advertising budget and putting dealers, mainly Republican donors who own Chrysler dealerships, he also tells these companies what cars they are going to produce through his everyone wins CAFE standards. What Obama says is not who he is.

Rule 2: Con Artists Dress For Success

Even though con artists would like you to believe that they are "just plain folk," they are smart enough to realize that this alone will not sway you to part with your money. They work very hard to come across as smooth, professional and successful. Con artists may dress like they are wealthy and work out of impressive looking offices. If your only contact is by mail, the office may bear a prestigious sounding address. Often, this is nothing more than a mail drop. Your best bet is to look behind the surface and do some serious investigating before you part with your money.

How many times have the thought he is just one of us been enforce through various channels in the media. From Peggy Joseph to Julio Oseguedo, Obama dumbs himself down to relate to these people. He isn’t one of them. He never has been. Obama has lived a privileged life that has many holes in it, especially during the college years. Obama is an image created by pictures and a teleprompter. He impressed with his teleprompter delivery but looks lost without out. Obama is a script made to look impressive. He is smooth, professional, and even though his resume is the lightest of any US President, he has somehow become successful working his way up as a community organizer. Community organizers are full of con men—let’s remember how Jessie Jackson acquired his beer distributorship and has continued to bully other businesses.

Rule 3: Con Artists Often Push Poorly Understood or Little-Known Products

Today, a variety of institutions, from banks to brokerage firms to financial planners, offer a wide range of financial products. With such a confusing mix to choose from, it is no wonder that many people turn to financial advisers for guidance. Con artists know this and stand ready to assume full responsibility for your investment decisions. Don’t let them! When it comes to your money, think things through for yourself after getting all the facts. Never give someone control over your purse strings just because you think you are too old, young or financially inexperienced. If you really need help, only deal with financial advisers, broker-dealers or financial institutions with proven track records.

Obama’s agenda is uncharted water for the republic. So many of his ideas are easy to buy into without looking at the realities and the costs. He has a wide range of ideas (products) which he sold to the American people without any explanation of how he was going to make his ideas work. They are all flowery ideas, free healthcare, more jobs in the government sector, housing plans to help Americans easily afford their homes, and the redistribution of wealth because you have been cheated out of what is owed you. Americans quickly bought into these plans without thinking about how much. Of course, Obama presented no facts about how all of these utopian ideas were going to take place. Those who are watching closely are discovering the con. Those who still believe in hope and change will soon be in for a shock.

Rule 4: Con Artists Bring Out The Worst In You

Skilled con artists can bring out your worst traits, particularly greed, fear, and insecurity. Con artists know that promises of huge returns with no risk will get your attention. They hope that it will get your money too. Fear comes into play when the con artist warns you that complaining about a failed investment to the government may result in your spoiling it for others or "rocking the boat." Con artists try to make you feel inadequate if you don’t believe them or ask too many questions. If you find yourself making investment-related decisions based only on your emotions, watch out!

Obama has brought out the worst in the me generation. Me, me, me without one thought about how all the me, me, me spending was going to do the country. Look at Peggy Joseph. Her comments on NBC were me comments. I know if I work for him now he is going to be there for ME. I won’t have to worry about my house payment, car payment, or putting gas in my car. Obama won because he played on the ‘me’ that this society has become. He did it without ever correcting the Peggy Joseph types.

Then look at what happened to Joe the Plumber when he asked too many questions and placed doubt in Obama. There have been others since then as well. Obama and his people were quick to destroy Joe the Plumber. Remember con artists try to make you feel inadequate if you don’t believe them or ask too many questions. Obama definitely doesn’t like questions which question his intentions.

Rule 5: Con Artists Are Fair Weather Friends

Before you invest, con artists are very friendly. They take a personal interest in you out of the blue. They call back when they promised they would. Each time, they tell you even more good things about the investment. You may feel you’re being pressured into investing. You are. Despite his or her kind words, the con artist will do anything in his or her power to make a sale. Too often, however, once you have invested your money, contact with the con artist dwindles and then stops altogether. If you cannot get answers to your questions after handing over your cash, there is a good chance someone else is getting rich off of your investment.

The town hall meetings are more like a snake oil salesman travelling show. Look at the interest Obama took in Henrietta Hughes. He made her promises and a few months later we find out this woman is still homeless. Obama sure looked good on TV taking a personal interest in Ms. Hughes. Everyone cheered. Obama’s different. He cares. He takes a personal interest in the people of America. The truth is the only time Obama has thought about Ms. Hughes after that is when the teleprompter reminded him of her. Obama made closed the deal that day, but he is a salesman who doesn’t follow up.

Dan Henninger wrote a brilliant article in the Wall Street Journal today about the death of American culture as we know it. It's called "Obama vs. The Beach Boys: Daddy's taking the muscle car away."

How long before the midnight drag races return on dark and dusty roads?
When Barack Obama announced that the government will use its fist to wave onto the highways of America cars that get 39 miles to a gallon of liquefied switch grass or something, he said, "Everybody wins."

Everybody? What country has he been living in? This marks the end of the internal combustion engine as we knew it, and it is the way Americans have defined, designed and literally driven much of the nation's culture for as long as anyone can remember. Car culture is America's culture.

At Mr. Obama's "Everybody wins" announcement ceremony in the Rose Garden, no one knew better how much has been lost than the cowed auto chiefs arrayed behind him. CAFE, the fuel-mileage standards Congress mandated 34 years ago, gradually squeezed the size and life out of America's cars. But something's getting phased out here other than gas-fueled cars.

Some of the most famous celebrity converts to the politics behind this new, shrinking world of plug-ins once wrote and sang paeans to muscle cars and a more muscular culture.

Track 3: "Born to Run" by Bruce Springsteen. Clip: "Beyond the Palace hemi-powered drones scream down the boulevard."

Time was Bruce Springsteen knew that "Jersey boys" mainly meant steel, chrome, rubber and auto tech. Check out the lyrics to "Pink Cadillac" ("but my love is bigger than a Honda") or the car-crazy "Racing in the Street," invoking Chevys with 396 Fuelie heads, Hurst speed-shifters and Camaros running "from the fire roads to the interstate."

We are being offered a different world now. One designed, defined and driven by a new set of un-fun obsessions -- carbon footprints, greenhouse gas and alternative energy. This large transition passes before us, barely seen, as the gray water of public policy. Hardly anyone notices how much is being changed.

To put a stop to the new sin of spending too much time out on Highway 9, we are getting the mark-up hearings this week in Washington for the Waxman-Markey climate bill. It's 900 pages long, dripping with thousands of Mickey-Mouse rules to reorder how we live. A Senate Finance Committee document last week on the Obama health-care plan proposes "lifestyle related revenue raisers." Lifestyles like drinking beer. This is the "taxing bad behavior" movement. They get to define what's bad.

Track 5: "Hot Rod Lincoln" by Commander Cody. Clip: "We had flames comin' from out of the side/Feel the tension, man, what a ride!"

This tension over how we live arrived before the world began standing on its head over global warming. The guys in the hemi-powered drones used to mock the granola and Birkenstock crowd. Look who's on top now.

"Everybody wins?" Not quite. What's winning is a worldview that goes deeper than the data beneath global warming. The gasoline cars they want to turn into scrap were about a lot more than the thrill of roaring on.

The cars and their culture were a manifestation of what made the U.S. really different. The cars, like the country, were big, fast and unfettered. Their drivers were delirious with the possibility of finding something new in life. "It's a town full of losers, and I'm pullin' out of here to win!"

When Americans grew up, that's just what a lot of them did -- win. Now, it looks like we're being asked to throttle down to government-approved survival. They're even running the car companies, telling them what to build, and then they'll pay people to buy the product. Save the planet and lose the nation's heart.

The likelihood of resistance to this timid ethos from anyone in politics is remote. It was tough to watch former A-4 Skyhawk pilot John McCain try to outbid Barack Obama for the green lifestyle vote in the debates. We'll see what happens when people walk into auto showrooms (if they exist) and every car has a wheelbase of about 100 inches.

Maybe they'll bolt. Maybe the car culture will revert to where it began, when the whiskey runners in the South ran from the revenuers. This time the cars themselves will be bootlegged -- fat, fast and gas-powered -- racing through the night on off-map roads while the National Green Corps -- enacted by Congress in the second Obama term -- looks for them from ethanolic choppers overhead. Reborn to run.

Taxpayers Paying For Portion of Obama's Campaign Fundraising Efforts

“We’re broke,” Obama said on Saturday. That doesn’t stop Obama from dancing all over the United States on Air Force on his continued campaign which didn’t stop in November. Obama has been busy fundraising at a pace unseen by any previous American president, and as his administration prepares to propose a new national sales tax ranging between 10 to 14% on everything you buy including services, Obama finishes a two-day campaign fundraising trip.

The trip cost taxpayers $265,000 just for one leg of the trip. Considering who he was fundraising for, it’s even more insulting to American taxpayers.

Obama met Harry Reid, who has insulted the American military on numerous occasions, last night in Los Angeles for a fund raising trip. Before meeting Reid, Obama gave a quick remarks on energy. Isn’t that ironic. Obama jet sets across the USA after telling us that we need to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars while creating a carbon footprint that should outrage Al Gore and the Goode family, but doesn’t. The few remarks Obama made on energy made it official business, even though it’s apparent it was only done to pass on the trip to the American tax payer.

If we are broke, maybe Obama needs to start showing us some responsibility since he says we are broke. This means staying in Washington more. He wanted to live there, so maybe he should stay there more.

That’s not going to happen, and the American tax payer will be subject to new taxes to pay for his recklessness.

Woman Calls 911 to Get Cops Name and Phone Number For Later Lovin'

A crazed, psycho 45-year-old woman called 911 begging for a cops name and begs for the 911 operator to give the cop her phone number. She actually begins creating an emergency surrounding her dog to try to get the officer back in her home. Has part of our society really become this ignorant or are we doing anything we can these days to avoid pain?

This woman sounds sick to me. She isn't the kind of woman I would want to have my phone number.

Operator: 911, do you need fire, medical, or police.

Woman: No, ma’am I don’t. I don’t have an emergency, two police officers just left my house just now, can I get their names please? He is the cutest cop I have seen in god knows how long I just want to know his name. I know it's not an emergency but heck, it doesn't happen very often, a good-looking man comes at your door step. Can you send him back my way?

Operator: Do you need them to come back there?

Woman: Oh I’d like that, yeah.

Operator: Why do you need them to come back there?

Woman: Because I have an emergency. I’ll think of something. He’s cute. Would you send them back my way would you?

Operator: Okay and what is the reason?

Woman: Um, my dog. Just blame it on my dog…no say the music was too loud. They came in the first place because the neighbors…we’ve been here for over 15 years they got a lot of nerve these neighbors. My music was too loud can I discuss that with them?

Operator: You need to talk about the noise complaint as well?

Woman: Exactly.Operator: Hold on just a moment.Woman: He’s a cutie pie.

Operator: And who has the loud noise?Woman: I’m the one who has the loud noise. The officer needs to come to my house…just me with the loud music.

Operator: Okay and ma’am what do you need the officer to do? Do you have another noise complaint?

Woman: …honey I’m just going to be honest with you okay, I just thought he was cute. I’m 45 years old and I’d like to meet him again. I don’t know how to go about doing that without calling 911. I know this is not absolutely in any way, shape or form an emergency. But if you give the officer my phone number and ask him to come back other than I know they have terrible lots of things to do....would you mind?

Operator: I’ll give him the message to call you.

NAACP Prepares to Battle NASCAR

The NAACP is threatening NASCAR with a boycott. I am already laughing. It gets better.

The NAACP wants the Homestead-Miami race track to ban the Confederate flag or they will boycott the final race of the season. May I ask a question here?

I have been to races around the country from Bristol to Chicagoland Speedway to Indianapolis and to Kansas. I have never noticed a strong presence from the NAACP. There was no NAACP membership drive booth placed next to the hot chicks in mini skirts handing out free chewing tobacco nor did I notice an information booth placed next Rutledge Wood conducting interviews for Speed TV. While there are many blacks who enjoy NASCAR, I doubt NASCAR has to worry about lack of attendance for the final race of the season because of a boycott by the NAACP. My question is has the NAACP run out of people to harass?

This isn't the first time NASCAR has been accused of being a racists-based sport. There has been a push to bring a black driver up for many years and NASCAR has developed a diversity campaign to help. NBC did the most despicable of all acts towards NASCAR. They dressed actors up as Middle-Eastern men and followed them around with hidden cameras expecting them to be harassed and attacked. They were actually greeted with respect around the track. It later came out NBC had set this up and they looked really silly. NBC ended their contract with NASCAR the same year.

For NASCAR to even seriously consider a compromise with the NAACP would mean they would have to police the parking lots where the flags show up at. If you have ever been to a race weekend, the first thing that hits you is the parking lot. Fans, me included, bring flags and raise them. There are American flags, Confederate flags, driver flags, and there is now even a Digger flag. (Digger is an animated feature on Fox's NASCAR pre-reace show.) NASCAR has nothing to do with the flags that show up.

Seriously, though if the NAACP is that arrogant that they think they can make a difference in the attendance at a NASCAR race, I say go for it. I think they look very silly in their demands, and besides, the First Amendment protects flying the Confederate flag. I think I might look into ordering Homestead tickets.

Abortion Advocates Could Face Wrath of Dear Leader Over Sotomayor

Yesterday the White House was warning critics of Sotomayor to be excessively careful when criticizing his nominee for the Supreme Court. Today, the New York Times writes that Judge Sotomayor may face criticism from the most unlikeliest of crowds--the pro-baby killers.

Abortion backers are a little nervous that her decisions have been more pro-life than pro-death. Nancy Keenan, president of Naral Pro-Choice America wants Senators to push Sotomayor to provide information about her abortion beliefs. As you might not realize, many Latinos find strength in the Catholic Church whose doctrine strictly opposes abortion. Sotomayor would be the sixth Catholic to sit on the court.

The abortion advocates point that she has not made a decision on Roe V. Wade and are concerned that it narrowly survived during the last review of the historic court case. They point to David Souter who was a stealth nominee with no record of decisions towards Roe V. Wade. Of course we know now Souter was a mistake for George H.W. Bush.

The abortion advocates helped the most radical abortion supporter win the White House--a man so vile he voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act four times. I have no doubt they expect the same out their Supreme Court nominees. Will Sotomayor's Catholic background be the end of the nomination? The Times writes:

None of the cases in Judge Sotomayor’s record dealt directly with the legal
theory underlying Roe v. Wade — that the Constitution contains an unwritten
right to privacy in reproductive decisions as a matter of so-called substantive
due process. Several of her opinions invoke substantive due process in other
areas, however, like the rights of parents and prisoners.

She has also had several cases involving abortion-related disputes that
turned on other legal issues. While those cases cannot be taken as a proxy for
her views on the constitutionality of abortion, she often reached results
favorable to abortion opponents.

It makes you wonder if the White House has pulled their threats off the table. This should be interesting to watch. Obama is going to look stupid if he didn't do a background check on her Roe V. Wade beliefs. On another note, isn't it sad that this will probably be bigger news than whether Sotomayor believes in and follows the Constitution?

CEObama's Job Performance Not Going Over Well in Michigan

We know he can't speak unless TOTUS is around. We know he is clueless how to handle international crisis. We hear him say little about the world around him. Now we are finding out that Michigan, once the proud symbol of American industry thanks to the now Little Three, doesn't have much confidence in CEObama's ability to save and run the auto industry.

A recent poll in Michigan shows 42% of those who responded believe Obama is screwing up the auto industry. I'd have to agree. 39% believe he has been helpful. Who are they kidding? They obviously asked the sheep-like Obamabots. Here's the facts:

Obama and the government are closing down 16 GM plants. How many UAW members are losing their jobs? They are ridding GM of three brands: Pontiac, Saturn, and Hummer. We know GMC is a target because CEObama wants big trucks and SUVs off the road. How could 39% of Michigan have any confidence in Obama when their economy is so dependent on the auto industry?

I used to work in the dental industry for a company in the Detroit area. Our success in Michigan depended on how successful the auto industry was since doctors and dentists thrive when Michigan was working and receiving insurance benefits. When these jobs are lost because Obama ships them off to Brazil, South Korea, Mexico, and China, there will be many thousands of people affected like dominoes falling.

I don't ever look for this poll to wind up in Obama's favor. The 39% still want to believe in hope and change. When GM winds up in South America and the state of Michigan resembles the city of Flint, Michigan may finally wake up to the reality of how little the Democrats actually help the working man.

Robert Gibbs Alerts Sotomayor Critics that White House Says be Extremely Careful with Criticism of Nominee

The arrogant and bullyish side of Obama is once again showing. Today, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs issued a warning to the critics of Sonia Sotomayor.

“I think it is probably important for anybody involved in this debate to be exceedingly careful with the way in which they’ve decided to describe different aspects of this impending confirmation,” Gibbs said.

Once again we look at the carefully chosen words of the Obama White House. The two words we focus on are exceedingly careful.

The comments came after a question about Newt Gingrich's remarks which mentioned that a white man racists would be forced to withdraw their nomination and that we shouldn't make an exception if a Latino woman was a racists. I think it's a valid point after Sotomayors comments saying the Latino experience will make for better legal judgements.

Valid points don't matter to Obama. Obama is a man who sat in a racist church for nearly 20 years as Jeremiah Wright preached hate against the white man. Obama clearly doesn't believe that racism can come from minorities like himself or Sotomayor.

So what does the Obama White House mean when they warn to be exceedingly careful. I think we are starting to see what many of us feared. Obama will use race, especially his race, to pass his radical agenda and ensure his radical nominations are pushed through Congress. I can't imagine that exceedingly careful means anything but we will play the race card from the Oval Office. We knew this day was coming.

I personally feel we will see many more threats against Americans before all is said and done with the Obama administration. I fear that; after all, we have a Chicago thug in the White House.

Health Care Rationing Will Occur Under Obama's Healthcare Plan

It's been the center of strong debate. Will there be healthcare rationing after Obama takes over the healthcare industry? Anyone with any common sense and paying attention to Washington should know the answer is yes; after all, Obama said we are broke. How is a broke country going to pay for your healthcare if you are worth little to the collective?

Bob McCarty, a blogger from St. Louis, has invited a guest blogger to his site Bob McCarty writes. Every American should pay attention to the reality of what Foster Friess writes. The title says it all: Amendment to Block Healthcare Rationing Fails.

Enjoying The Goode Family

I am sitting here tonight watching The Goode Family sadly admitting I know some of these people. It's hard not to when you live in Chicago. I am also thinking these have to be what Tim DeChristopher and his friends must be like. No wonder they never liked what I wrote about him.

I think the show shows absurd environmentalist can be as they stumble through life thinking they are protecting the earth--not enjoying it. The predicaments they face are summed up in the show furthering expanding the absurdity it takes to be an wacked out liberal.

Of course in Obama's America, I am not sure everyone will see the humor, at least until Obama rapes their pocketbook with his cap and trade program and then follows it up with the value added tax. By then everyone will be forced to stay home seven nights a week in order to save what little we have left.

My favorite part of the show is when they debated whether it was PC to wear a flag pin. Since the election, it is now okay for the Goode family to wear the flag pin. What a poke at Obama and his pin!

Of course in Obama's America you can't just poke fun at the left. That will soon be considered a hate crime. Mike Judge has to poke fun at the virginity pledges as well, which has created some silly symbolism that's easy to poke fun at.

It's not Judge's best creation, but it is nice to be able to laugh for thirty minutes at the silly rituals liberals go through in their attempt to be PC and environmentally friendly. Of course, in real life, they are never this friendly and nothing they do is worth laughing at. It's not worth laughing at because it's damn scary how they want to return our country to the dark ages by attacking technology and industry. Why just last week Obama's Transportation Secretary said he wanted to force the automobile out of the American way of life. This is the type of idiot policies that cause misery beyond belief.

The most lovable Goode is the vegan dog who is a closet meat eater. There are posters all over the neighborhood of missing animals which the dog has eaten. If I had parents like the Goode family, I would be a closet meat eater too. Thank God I come from a normal, traditional, and conservative family.

The show ends with the words, "what's important is that you feel guilty about it." Doesn't that best explain liberalism! I just wonder how long it will be until the libs put pressure on ABC to tone the anal side of the Goode family down.

Dumbing Down Sexting: It's Not as Simple as Spin the Bottle

Peter Cumming, an associate professor at York University in Toronto, claims sexting is the latest variation of Spin the Bottle as he defended the practice which led to the suicide of Jessica Logan. I beg to differ. Sexting in the latest version of raunchy locker room talk concerning which football player had the drunk cheerleader during the weekend.

Now the cheerleader is left more vulnerable as something that seemed like a hot memory or a romantic remind suddenly finds itself on the Internet for millions to see. This isn't a simple game of Spin the Bottle.

We continue to dumb down society for today's teenagers by promoting certain things are okay and acceptable while allowing wholesome concepts like abstinence to become controversial. Sex is a very dangerous game for young teenagers with their hormones running wild, it should never be dumbed down. There are life-changing consequences, and in the case of Logan, consequences that are often irreversible.

Cumming writes:

"Technology does change things, and there can be very serious consequences.

"But that obscures the fact that children and young people are sexual beings who have explored their sexuality in all times, and all cultures and all places.

"A distinction has to be made between nudity and child porn."

This reminds me of Michael Savage's lesson on homosexuality. Savage brilliantly said that we are all born with desires that are unnatural. It's part of the human experience. That doesn't mean we have to give into those desires.

I agree, the path of least resistance usually offers the hardest lessons to learn. Notice in Cummings statement he doesn't try to enter the abstinence argument. It's not very politically correct in today's world. That's why we have this problem in the first place. We have come to accept that kids are having sex and younger ages with each generation. If we continues this path, will we be defending whatever the modern version of Spin the Bottle is for the next generation of tweens? Eventually we have to see the path we are on isn't working and resort to a moral and traditional upbringing.

According to the US family planning organization, a December 2008 poll showed that 20% teens have participated in sexting. That's 20% too many.

Cummings argues that sexting is safer than the traditional Spin the Bottle game because there is no immediate sexual contact. Yeah, I guess sending a naked picture of yourself with a hot promise doesn't lead to anything. Are you kidding Mr. Cummings? These are the people teaching your children, and it's no wonder why with each generation, children become more sexually exploitative. I am amazed that Cummings paper made national news considering his sophomoric naivety. Then again, it's not promoting abstinence, so I really am not that amazed.

In fact, all of you Obamabots who said you weren't worried about Obama raising your taxes are about to get a stiff one up your keester. It's called the value added tax. If you have ever bought anything from Europe, chances are you have paid a VAT to the country you purchased the product from. I pay a VAT every time I order anything from Total Cycling in the United Kingdom. If you look next to their prices, it says inc VAT (includes value added tax).

So what is the VAT? Well, it's a national sales tax which is enforced with every transaction that involves the exchange of goods and services. It looks like Obama will add it to the long list of federal taxes you already pay including the federal income tax. This is not the Fair Tax. This is an Obama will rob you more to pay for his runaway spending tax.

Obama really knows how to get things going in a down economy, huh! Spend like a mad man and claim you have created jobs, which any moron should be able to see he clearly hasn't and then tax the people to where they have nothing.

Let me ask you. What does an extra 10% national sales tax mean to you? Are you wanting to buy that nice 52 inch hi definition television at Walmart for $1000. Well, by the time you add your state and local sales tax which averages about 8% with the national sales tax of 10%, your TV just shot up in cost by $180. Let us not forget how much money the federal government already deducted from you check with the income tax, FICA, and Medicare. The deduct any state and local taxes upon that. Your check isn't going to go very far, and chances are you might decide not to purchase that television because you don't have the extra $180 for the taxes.

I know I will spend a lot less money if the federal government penalizes me even further with a national sales tax. I will only buy what I need and make do with what I have. They aren't going to continue to tread on me without me fighting back.

I did a rough estimate to display how damaging this tax would be. Notice I have paid $1863.38. Taking the average sales tax of 8%, I figured approximately how much I have spent this year. Based on that number, if Obama signs into law a national sales tax, I would have paid in $2329 extra in taxes this year.

Chances are I would have paid less because the extra $2300 in taxes would have made me reconsider many purchases this year, which if everyone does and will, will have a trickle down effect on this nation. Stores will close because people are tighter with their money. When stores close people lose their jobs. There is absolutely nothing good about this tax, unless your Obama who loves to spend your money.

I recently hear an interview by Jessie 'is he the body or the mind' Ventura which he claims the battle between Republican and Democrat is just for show. He states that what goes on behind the scenes is a far different reality than the facade that divides Americans on the left and on the right.

I have to admit I have often started to wonder as Bozo of the Bozo and Ozone Man became an unofficial member of the Bush clan in recent years. At times Bozo, a moniker George H.W. Bush gave to Bill Clinton on the 1992 campaign trail, seemed to be inseparable with the man he beat by demonizing him over a very mild recession. Now, less than 20 weeks since George W. Bush left office, we see him picking up where is tired father left off, hanging out with Clinton.

The two are participating for lots of cash in a speaking event called the Conversation. The two former presidents will make up to $150,000 a piece for a two hour shared speaking event. Isn't it amazing how these guys beat each other up but some how come together. After years of watching Hillary roll her eyes as W. spoke, it some how seems staged, even more so after watching 41 and 42 dart around the world together. It's definitely consistent with what Ventura said. It really makes you wonder what kind of deals are made behind the curtain.

I guess we will know the truth in four years after Obama loses because of a dreadful economy, hyperinflation, a soaring national debt, and instability in the world which compromises the safety of our country. If he's out gallivanting with W. then I guess we know something stinks in Washington.

Russia Prepares for Possible Nuclear War as Kim Jung Il Plays with his New Toys

Reuters is reporting Russia is preparing for a nuclear war started by the North Koreans. An unnamed security source in Russia was quoted in Interfax as saying, "The need has emerged for an appropriate package of precautionary measures. We are not talking about stepping up military efforts but rather about measures in case a military conflict, perhaps with the use of nuclear weapons, flares up on the Korean Peninsula."  

"We assume that a dangerous brinkmanship, a war of nerves, is under way, but it will not grow into a hot war," the official told Tass. "Restraint is needed."

After testing nuclear weapons, Pyongyang tested missile delivery systems while declaring it’s no longer bound by the armistice signed with South Korea as a solution to the Korean War.

When you mix this with the actions of Iran who continue to get closer to a nuclear weapon as they taunt US Warships, and the resurgence of the Taliban in Afghanistan with stretches into Pakistan, you just have to ask is Obama ready. I don’t believe he is. The world is a mess, and we have the inexperienced Kenyan village idiot leading.

North Korea Threatens US Warships off the Coast of South Korea

The Associated Press reports US warships protecting South Korea have been threatened by Kim Jung Il’s regime. In the report, North Korea said it could no longer promise the safety of US Navy and South Korean Navy and all civilian ships in waters near North Korea’s western maritime border.

In recent months, both sides have conducted drills for this scenario. North Korea has moved weapons towards the border of South Korea. Obama now has his Bay of Pigs, and Kim Jung Il knows he isn’t ready. We of course agree. Thank God there is still good leaders in the United States military who have served under a real leader and hopefully can convince Obama to make the right decisions.

I guess the real question is how far will Il push his new power.

A Sotomayor Campaign Commercial?

Wait a minute? What’s up with the commercial featuring Obama building up Sonia Sotomayor? This isn’t an election.

A new commercial has been released selling Sotomayor to the American people, or maybe it isn't for all the American people. Perhaps the commercial is to raise awareness in the Latino community, which is a fast growing sector of the electorate, Obama nominiated the first Hispanic for the Supreme Court. It's clearly a disguised campaign commercial for 2012.

The commercial shares the ‘uniquely American story’ which actually parallels Justice Clarence Thomas’s story. Once again we see the same talking points promoting Sotomayor without any substance as to any of her rulings. Why is Obama pushing so hard to get the American people to embrace Sotomayor which now includes a campaign style commercial? That’s easy. It’s clearly to raise awareness in the Latino community and cut off Republicans before the battle begins. It’s disgraceful.

What's even more disgraceful is that it's supported by ConstitutionalValues.org. Would ConstitutionalValues.org please explain what Constitutional value is represented by a judge who legislates from the bench?

The American Value Added Tax is Coming: Nationalized Sales Tax Will Pay for 'Free Healthcare' and be an Addition to Your Federal Income Tax

Here comes your middle-class tax increase, as well as a tax on the poor and the rich. In Canada and Europe it’s known as the Value Added Tax. It is a national sales tax, and according the Washington Post today, it may be inevitable now that Obama announced we are broke and is content on destroying the nation’s healthcare system.

A collection of tax experts pleaded with Timothy Geithner earlier this year to push for a national sales tax. They told him to call it a VAT.

"There is a growing awareness of the need for fundamental tax reform," Sen. Kent Conrad (D-N.D.) said in an interview. "I think a VAT and a high-end income tax have got to be on the table."

We are in a recession that we were once told is the worst in the history of US recessions according to Obama. Now his administration is hearing arguments for a tax that is guaranteed to raise the costs of everything—from a pack of gum to services provided by Joe the Plumber to your tax attorney.

"Everybody who understands our long-term budget problems understands we're going to need a new source of revenue, and a VAT is an obvious candidate," said Leonard Burman, co-director of the Tax Policy Center, a joint project of the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution, who testified on Capitol Hill this month about his own VAT plan. "It's common to the rest of the world, and we don't have it."

You better realize who is pushing the VAT tax so you know the chances of it passing is great. Ezekiel Emanuel, Rahm’s brother and author of the 2008 book Healthcare Guaranteed, is an advocate of the VAT tax. It will pay for of all things, healthcare, the same healthcare the people honestly believe they are going to get for free. Are you starting to see a pattern of what government healthcare is going to cost as they consider taxing everything and then taxing it again with a national sales tax (VAT)? You are going to be screaming to have your traditional health insurance back.

Although this is similar to what the Fair Tax advocates argue for, this is by no means a Fair Tax, nor would it be supported by the Fair Tax advocates. The VAT doesn’t do away with the federal income tax and the Internal Revenue Service. This will be another tax you will be forced to pay that robs you of your hard work. I know for a fact the government has robbed me of around 40% of my income this year (it’s documented on this blog). How much more will they take before it’s not worth it for me to even go to work anymore?

Wake up America. You aren’t going to have a dime once Obama reinvents the American healthcare system. They are going to tax everything again and again to justify your ‘right to free healthcare.’

 

Claire McCaskill's Talking Points Describing Incredible, Uniquely American Story Reminds Me of Another Supreme Court Nominee

Senator Claire McCaskill on Fox News called Judge Sonia Sotomayor a “remarkable intellect.” Don’t you have to have intellect to decipher a great intellect? In typical McCaskill form she rambled off Democratic talking points on Fox News with no original thought concerning Obama’s nomination of Sotomayor.

McCaskill used the typical Democratic phrases like politics as usual as she stumbled through talking points that misrepresent facts. McCaskill pointed out that over 400 of Sotomayor’s opinions have been published. McCaskill fails to point out that over 60% of them have been reversed. As she continued to ramble out phrases like “overcome incredible odds,” “incredibly qualified, ”most experienced,” and “incredible, uniquely American story.” Has anyone noticed the similarities between Sotomayor and Clarence Thomas?

Both Thomas and Sotomayor were born in conditions of poverty and worked their way up. They are both minorities. Both grew up without fathers. Both were the first in their race to be nominated for the Supreme Court. Yet Democrats tried to destroy Clarence Thomas while they tell us that Sotomayor’s story is unique. It seems to me we have heard this story before in 1991, and yet the Democrats didn’t want to celebrate it. They wanted to play, as McCaskill puts it ‘politics as usual.’

The Democrats weren’t exposed to the race card during the Thomas hearings, but you can be sure Republicans who oppose Sotomayor (and rightfully should after her comments about legislating from the bench), will be deal with the race card since she is the first Latino to be nominated.

The Democratic talking points are weak, and they once again show the junior senator from Missouri is lost without them. If she had any senses, she would realize the talking points are weak and the story was told in 1991. Her party played politics as usual in the most relentless use of the practice.

Ray LaHood Wants to Force Americans Out of the Their Cars

Last Thursday, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood told reporters he wanted to “coerce people out of their cars.” LaHood wants to get people riding trains, busses, and ride bicycles instead of their cars. There are so many flaws in this vision, but it is a vision that could force people to move back into the cities where they are under more government control and can be herded like sheep.

I recently moved from Chicago to the hilly countryside of Missouri. Now that I live in the country, I realize the limits placed on freedom when you live in a city like Chicago. The city of Chicago, between its gas tax, parking costs, city sticker, and other fees makes owning a car very expensive and forces many people to alternative transportation. This is all designed to get you to rely on the Chicago Transit System ‘L’ trains. Once you give up your car, your life revolves around a government planner’s schedule—not your schedule—Blue Line train to O’Hare with lots of colorful characters to keep an eye on. How is this freedom?

There are many communities in the United States where the costs to provide transportation wouldn’t be feasible—especially now that Obama says we are out of money. I guess they have a plan for us suburbanites and urban escapees. It’s called the bicycle. As a former licensed United States Cycling Federation road racer, I love bicycles, but my Giant TCR Team Once composite Campagnolo equipped racing bike isn’t a grocery getter. I know I am more than capable of riding my bike to the grocery store—except it's 25 miles away and I can't carry five recyclable bags full of milk, juice, beer, meat, and veggies on a bike. Won’t you be happy when he tries to coerce you out of your car? I guess we can always go back to horse and buggy, but horses like animals fart which creates an environmental problem according to these idiots running the government.

 

LaHood says, “I think we can change people's behavior.” I think you idiots in the Obama administration are definitely doing that, but I don’t think you will like the results once our changed behavior starts marching on Washington demanding our republic back.

 

Man Who Paid Employees in Gold Coins Faces Life in Prison for Tax Evasion

I know I would be a little more confident of my paycheck if it was paid out in real gold considering the amount of money Obama has printed. That's exactly how Richard Kahre paid his employees in his construction business. His actions may get him life in prison. He has been charged with 57 accounts of tax evasion.

The IRS is making the claim the payout was worth more than the value placed on the coins by the United States government. In other words, there is more than $50 in gold in the coins.

His attorney William Cohan argues that Kahre is a hero for not participating in America's worthless fiat currency and claims this is a legal form of tax avoidance. Two years ago, nine defendants were acquitted of similar charges. Two of those nine were partially acquitted and the indictment was dropped.

The IRS thinks they have Kahre because he has placed four properties in his girlfriend's, of 19 years and mother to his four children, name. Isn't that a common law marriage though? I would think that he would have that right. The IRS accuses Kahre of attempting to hide his assets.

The IRS says that Kahre conducted a fraudlent payroll scheme. Maybe the IRS should consider how fraudulent and anti-constitutional our fiat currency printed and controlled by the Federal Reserve is. It is the job of Congress to print money, and there is still controversy surrounding the legality in which the Federal Reserve amendment (17th Amendment) was passed. There is doubt whether or not it was ever ratified by two-thirds of the states.

Kahre paid out over $114 million in six years. Karhe defends that his workers agreed to be independent contractors and that he didn't have to file taxes and Social Security taxes on them. He also contends that the coins he paid his employees were legal tender set by Congress, and taken at face value, each defendant's annual coin income placed him below the threshold for filing a federal tax return.

Obama's Sanctions May Have Started Next Big War: Kim Jung Il Flexes Muscles in Front of Dear Leader Obama

Will our spineless president back down from his promised 'sanctions'. Kim Jung Il and the rest of the mad men running North Korea says it's not afraid of Obama and his 'sanctions' and consider South Korea's involvement an act of war. Watch Obama back down and recommend that we just talk and maybe we can work this out and become friends with the little North Korean dictator.

South Korea joined the anti-proliferation initiative yesterday, and they have been training with the US military for months. Obviously, Obama let this one get away from him just like Iran is getting away from him. There is no Netanyahu in the region who will put an end to the madness, and we can't count on Obama to remove the threat. I expect North Korea to eventually attack South Korea. It's coming because the United States did little to prevent it. Sanctions never work, in fact, isn't that why the Obama administration wants to normalize relations with Cuba. The sanctions didn't work.

Two Californias?: Bill Maze Wants to Split California into Two Different States

If you break down California by red county and blue county, there are 45 red counties and 13 blue counties. The 45 red counties are tired of high taxes, over regulating of everything, and the limits put on them by environmentalism. Assemblyman Bill Maze has a solution, not a new solution, but a solution none-the-less.

He is proposing the 45 more conservative counties in California to form their own state and let the liberal left coast have their higher taxes and environmentalism. Their Web site, Downsize California states their mission. (Personally, maybe it's time to think about doing this nationally.)

I think they make a good argument. I know I would have left California years ago had I had to endure what many people put up with there. Personally, it seems California, which is bigger than many countries, isn't well represented by it's two Senators who rarely see the needs of the 45 counties mentioned. You have a state as little as Wyoming who has just over 100,000 people compared to California with a population around 37 million people.

This wouldn't be the first time a state has been split. Virginia was split up during the Civil War making West Virginia. East California seems like a logical choice. It would be nice to see part of the population of California be able to thrive once the heavy hand of government is removed. I really think this is a good idea for many reasons including energy.

One Man, Many Taxes, 365 Days: Day 145 | Obama's Threat Against Kim Jung Il vs. Obama's Threat Against the American People

Obama has responded to Kim Jung Il's detonation of two nuclear bombs followed by missile tests in North Korea. Do Americans realize the face a greater threat from Obama than what he placed on the little North Korean mad man? Let me explain.

Obama threatened him with sanctions, which is no big deal to Il since China produces everything North Korea needs. I am sure Il's love for American movies like Friday the 13th and Rambo will be met by the Chinese black market. He probably downloads them from the Internet anyways.

Americans face greater threats from Dear Leader Obama with bills like the cyber-bully prevention law, the hate speech legislation, and the latest version of the Fairness Doctrine which he will sign in to law. The threate of being jailed for practicing the First Amendment is a real possibility.

Secondly, we know Obama's Department of Homeland Security isn't backing down from the domestic terrorists reports. This is their plan to come after gun owners.

Obama's CAFE standards will put Americans in death traps, which means he will take out the threat of Americans which him and Al Gore are afraid of, but will do little to stop Kim Jung Il's version of global warming.

Finally, Obama's desire for cap and trade may work as sanctions on the American people. As energy prices soars thanks to more taxes on energy, Americans will be forced to do without by the iron hand of Dear Leader Obama. Yes, the threat to Americans definitely outweighs Obama's puny threat to North Korea.

Obama Insults Sotomayor in Supreme Court Nominee's Introduction: Is Sotomayor Not Attractive Mr. Obama?

Did anyone catch the insult Obama threw at his Supreme Court nominee today? During his introduction the great orator Obama clearly insulted Judge Sonia Sotomayor. Here's the transcript:

Well, Sonia, what you've shown in your life is that it doesn't matter where you come from, what you look like, or what challenges life throws your way -- no dream is beyond reach in the United States of America.

What does looks have to do with anything Obama? Are you saying she's not attractive Mr. Obama? Are you speaking of the cliche that Latino women don't age well? How else are we supposed to take this Mr. Obama? He said it. I think we should consider this an insult to Judge Sotomayor. It seems to imply that Obama thinks Sotomayor is an ugly woman. Of course, he can always blame the teleprompter for the insult, and the media of course would run with it. Shame on you TOTUS!

I can accept the other two parts of the introduction in this passage of Sotomayor introduction, but what you look like seems like an insult towards the judge's appearance if you ask me. I can't believe I haven't heard anyone else bring this point up today.

On the other hand, Sotomayor's comments about legislating from the bench shows the true ugly side of Sotomayor, and it should prevent her from reaching the Supreme Court. Judges interpret. They don't legislate.

Also, there is one more thing that bothers me about Obama's comments. He says "no dream is beyond reach in the United States of America." As he spends trillions of dollars and will nearly double the national debt, this statement will soon be false for many Americans. I am insulted by this comment alone considering his recklessness.

Have They no Conscience? Democrats Caught up in Lot's of Green (Color of Money) Controversy

Nancy Pelosi is in China. She looks to escape the controversy concerning her lies about her knowledge of water boarding and her attempt to embarrass the Central Intelligence Agency. She may have just walked into another controversy. Speaker Pelosi, a self-proclaimed hero of human rights, is mum on the subject.  

Nearing the 20^th anniversary of Tiananmen Square, Pelosi puts environmentalism before people. Of course, this is and has always been the goal of the environmental movement who go as far in some circles as suggesting eugenics as a responsible environmental program. Pelosi has been vocal against the Chinese treatment of its people in the past including unfurling a banner in Tiananmen Square in 1991 supporting human rights.

Of course this is no big surprise. Over the weekend Dear Leader Obama said our country is broke, so he and Pelosi needs the Chinese to continue buying American debt in order to create their huge government programs. In other words, let’s overlook the injustices in China so we can move close to the philosophies of the Chinese while robbing more freedoms of the people. This is hope and change? Obama’s plans look to double the national deficit, and he can’t go wild without the Chinese assistance.

Another Democratic controversy has raised its head this week. Roland Burris obviously promised to write Governor Rod Blagojevich a check for his campaign shortly before Blago appointed Burris to the Senate. The FBI has it all on tape. Chicago’s CBS 2 reports the conversation took place on November 18, nearly two weeks after the anointing of Dear Leader Obama.

It’s clear power corrupts and for the Democrats it seems to happen sooner than their opponents the Republicans, which often aren’t as bad as they look until the media places the Democratic blessed spin on the story.

Proposition Eight Wins in California--Again: California Supreme Court Rules Against Gay Marriage

Has the world gone mad or what? Gay Californians will be packing their bags for Iowa. Iowa?

The California Supreme Court upheld the rule of the people. In November, voters came out for Proposition Eight, which banned gay marriage in one of the nation’s most liberal states. Many feared the court would legislate from the bench and overrule the voice of the people. The 6-1 decision was based that Californians have the right to change the Constitution and they clearly demonstrated the right.

California attempted gay marriage earlier before the proposition was passed. More than 18,000 gay couples were married. They will remain married according the court, but there will be no more marriage licenses issued for same-sex couples.

So what now? Will there be reminders of November with the militant side spray painting vile words to key Proposition Eight advocates, like many of the Mormons who dealt with vile militant sodomites destroying their churches? I guess we will soon find out. These same people can always fly to Iowa where the people of Iowa had no say on the matter. These really are strange days when the heartland works against the rules of the republic and majority rule and California comes out shining.

 

Judge Sonia Sotomayor: Obama's First Supreme Court Pick

 Obama has chosen Judge Sonia Sotomayor to begin reshaping the Supreme Court with his radical agenda. Obama said he wanted a justice who combined intellect and empathy—Obama knows what intellect means?

One has to wonder if Sotomayor was picked for her gender and ethnic background over her qualifications. We know Obama said he also wanted a woman. I find these picks very offensive when we look for specific traits than qualifications.

Judge Sotomayor has a strange road to the Supreme Court including appointments from George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton. Once again we see these odd strange political connections that just shouldn’t be.

 

Mancow Disappoints with Appearance on Countdown with Keith Olbermann Tonight

Before the Memorial Day weekend, Erich Mancow Muller agreed to undergo waterboarding in the WLS studios in Chicago. Mancow lasted 14 seconds before he moved upward to get off the table.

In an uncharacteristic move, Mancow hurt the efforts of the United States military to keep the American people safe. There has been proof the techniques worked and intelligence was received which uncovered a plot to attack Los Angeles. Now Mancow feeds the liberals he normally attacks.

One liberal who Mancow has made fun of in recent months while constantly playing his clueless rants in Keith Olbermann. Mancow will appear on Countdown tonight describing what he felt on the table.

While I know this was a publicity stunt pulled to attract listeners to his top-rated show on WLS, I feel it continues to undermine the efforts of our military which the left continues to pursue. I don't agree that Mancow should have done this, nor should he fuel Olbermann's fire. I am disappointed in him. Millions of American lives are more important than a radio stunt and the life of a man who has plotted to kill thousands of Americans, especially when American lives may be saved from the information gathered.

Did John Lennon Make the Faustian Deal: Former Friend Tony Sheridan Claims Lennon Made Deal with the Devil

Did John Lennon make a Faustian deal at the crossroads for fame and fortune? In a new book, Tony Sheridan, who used the Beatles as a backup band for his recording My Bonnie claims John Lennon told Sheridan that he did in fact make a deal with the devil.

The book titled The Lennon Prophecy outlines the 20-year pact with the devil which ends in tragedy. Similar to the story of Dr. Faustus, there have been reports that Lennon befriended Pat Robertson who worked to share Christianity with Lennon before his death. Lennon ultimately denied Christ after Yoko demanded he stopped talking to Robertson and reading the Bible. We all know what happened next.

For years, there have been rumors that Lennon wasn't the peace loving man which Yoko continues to sell in new Lennon products including baby clothes. In fact, he seems often unhappy, abusive, and vile. In fact rumors have even spread that he killed former band mate Stuart Sutcliff after beating him up. Sutcliff died later after collapsing in his art class during a brain hemorrhage. This has never been proven but talked about frequently after Lennon's death.

Lennon had a fascination with the occult and magic which was heightened through Yoko Ono. Lennon frequently looked for happiness through a variety of the world's stranger religions. Yet, he remained miserable.

Lennon was shot to death by Mark David Chapman on December 8, 1980. Chapman later claimed his own demons were exorcised from him while serving time for Lennon's murder Attica State Prison.

"Chapman said that as the last demon left his body he was given the reason for his possession," Niezgoda told World Net Daily. "It was to make a show of Satan's great power in the world using John Lennon's murder as the vehicle. I've always held an intuitive belief … that the true author of this story is Satan and that I am only the messenger."

Throughout many biographies written about Lennon and the Beatles, many describe vile actions of Lennon towards Christianity symbols. This goes far beyond the Beatles are more popular than Jesus Christ statement Lennon made in 1966 which led to Beatles burnings.

Former Beatles drummer Pete Best recalls Lennon was always preaching about getting to the top. It was an obsession. Many Beatles fans know the story of the toppermost of the poppermost.

"If we have to be bent or con people, then that's what we'll have to do to get there," Best quoted Lennon as saying. "It doesn't matter what it takes to get to the top. It might cause some heartache, but once I'm up there, it'll be a different kettle of fish. Yes, he did say, 'I' and not 'we.' That was the real John Lennon, brilliant, amusing but ruthless."

The book wrap up the pact by suggesting the Paul is Dead clues were actually a prediction of tragedy to come. Many Beatles fans were tricked into believing Paul McCartney died in a car wreck, and was replaced by a look alike for the album covers. The Beatles had stopped touring. There were clues in their songs and on their album covers. Joseph Niezgoda argues:

"The suspicion, however, was not without merit," explains Niezgoda. "The clues were there, and too numerous to be ignored. They just needed to be viewed through a different lens to create not a picture of a past conspiracy, but a future tragedy. When examined as a possible prophecy, the clues appear to be quite clearly not about Paul, but about John Lennon."

I guess that my explain the confusion of the Walrus. John sings he is the Walrus on I am the Walrus, and then on the White Album's Glass Onion, he sings the Walrus was Paul. Lennon also penned many other songs that suggest his anger towards Christianity. After Bob Dylan accepted Christ and began to sing gospel music, Dylan released a song called Serve Somebody where he sings you are going to have to make a decision to serve the devil or the lord. Lennon retaliated with a song called Serve Yourself with typical attacks in it which he was known for in other songs directed towards Paul McCartney after the breakup of the Beatles. Lennon was killed before the song was finished.

Niezgoda's feelings are similar to mine as he draws his conclusion to this chapter in the book.

"I have always had to deal with the constant conflict of my love for their music and the evil that I perceive surrounds it. The only difference is that I have tried to define or make sense of it with the help of this book."

Woman Arrested at Walmart for Throwing her Baby at Walmart Associate

The blogs of the next few days will be about how Obama has done nothing to make the world a safer place. No one should be surprised North Korea has nukes now and Obama just talks.

While North Korea tested two missiles, and Memphis, Tennessee woman tested her own version of a missile when she projected a baby in a car carrier at a Walmart employee. Camilla Fields threw the seat aimed at the associate and then ran away. She was charged with felony child abuse and neglect and assault. Fields was accused of shoplifting by the employee.

The baby landed face down on the pavement. Emergency workers had to revive the baby. Stacey Cleaves, the baby's mother, was also charged with child neglect.

The world has become a sick place. Is this the hope and change people put their faith in?

News in Southwest Missouri was gloomy this weekend as our community learned we lost another soldier in Iraq. Of course he died for a good cause. There were other soldiers who died this week. We seem to have forgotten about the the realities of war since Obama became president. The media and Democrats used every death to build its case against George W. Bush. It's amazing how quiet they are. There are still many brave Americans who are giving their lives to spread freedom around the world. Let's us not forget them.

Somehow, it feels Obama just went through the notions this weekend to honor the fallen. Remember during the campaign, Obama didn't know who the fallen were. He thought he was speaking to them. Obama placed the traditional wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldier and then went to play golf today. The United States continues to fight, North Korea tests two nukes today, and Iran continues to get closer to their own nuclear weapon, and Obama plays golf. Mr. Olbermann, do you have any remarks about Obama's actions? Just curious. Personally, I think it was in bad taste to get 18 holes in today.

HR895 Free Flow of Information Act of 2009: Protecting Obama's Birth Place and Birth Certificate

If HR895 becomes law, chances are the truth surrounding Obama's eligibility based on the Constitution for the office of the President will continued to remain covered. The Bill reads:

Free Flow of Information Act of 2009 (HR895): Prohibits a federal entity (an entity or employee of the judicial or executive branch or an administrative agency of the federal government), in any matter arising under federal law, from compelling a covered person to testify or produce any document unless a court makes specified determinations by a preponderance of the evidence, including determinations.

The bill sponsored by Democrat Rick Boucher (D-VA 9th) is also co-sponsored by 17 Republicans. I think it's clear what the intentions are with this bill, but I am curious why Republicans in Congress wish to cover up the Obama mystery concerning his birth certificate. I am labeling these Colin Powell Republicans from here on out.

Mike Judge's The Goode Family: An Environmental Sitcom

Beavis and Butthead creator Mike Judge has a new animated sitcom on ABC that apparently pokes fun of the politically correct environmental movement. The Goode family is said to be the heroes of the show, but it looks like Judge uses the family to show the anal side of the extreme pantie waste liberal movement. The question is will they end up making the environmental movement look legitimate or a collection of tree-hugging freaks. Judging from the preview, I am inclined to believe the latter. I guess we shall see. The show premiers on May 27. I know some of those people, and they ARE tied up in knots with their environmental phoniness. I love the guilty quote in the preview.

Jason Levy's Marriage Proposal at Chicago Blackhawks Game Turns into Anti McDonald's PETA Rhetoric

Jason Levy's marriage proposal during the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings lost its romance quickly when Levy decided to have a Morgan Spurlock/Supersize Me moment. Between periods, Levy asked Nicole Hughes to marry them on the jumbotron at the United Center. Moments later, fans nestled in McDonald's backyard saw a romantic turn into a wacko animal-rights political fiasco as Levy used his proposal to promote PETA's anti McDonald's message.

Levy, who proposed on the Bud Light Zamboni, immediately held up a sign saying "McDonald's breaks birds wings and legs." What a way to destroy one of the most important events of a lifetime. There will always be this image associated with his proposal. Detroit won the game that night, which may be an omen for these two Chicagoians future together, after all, this isn't the marriage proposal most girls dream of when they are little.

I am sure he would have received nearly unanimous support had there been a message to clip the Red Wings. Detroit leads the best of seven series three games to one. I think I will order the 20 piece Chicken McNuggets today in Jason and Nicole's honor.

US Census Survey of Business Owners and Self-Employed Persons: Response is Required by Law

I received my first US Census form a few days ago. The Commerce Department and the Census Bereau are about as friendly these days as the IRS. On the envelope addressed to me I noticed, like the IRS, that I am held next to gun point with this required form. In large, san-serif bold font, it reads:

YOUR RESPONSE IS REQUIRED BY LAW

What is I don't want to fill this form out? On each enclosure in the mailing, I am reminded of these six words placed so friendly on their envelope. According to Title 13 of the US code, this is the law; however, it doesn't list the penalties for not filling out the form.

We know what the IRS does. They keep increasing your tax bill, unless your Timothy Geithner and other prominent Democrats, with penalties and interests. What are my penalties for not filling out a census form? I am curious, especially since it has come to the attention of many that ACORN will have an influence in this year's census. Why would I want to participate in corruption?

Here are the penalties for not participating in the census:

(a) Whoever, being over eighteen years of age, refuses or willfully neglects, when requested by the Secretary, or by any other authorized officer or employee of the Department of Commerce or bureau or agency thereof acting under the instructions of the Secretary or authorized officer, to answer, to the best of his knowledge, any of the questions on any schedule submitted to him in connection with any census or survey provided for by subchapters I, II, IV, and V of chapter 5 of this title, applying to himself or to the family to which he belongs or is related, or to the farm or farms of which he or his family is the occupant, shall be fined not more than $100.

(b) Whoever, when answering questions described in subsection (a) of this section, and under the conditions or circumstances described in such subsection, willfully gives any answer that is false, shall be fined not more than $500.

So let me get this straight, to refuse the census in only penalized up to $100, but to lie to a census taker is up to $500. Here's an interesting way to look at this. If I am an attorney, and according to studies I have read, an hour of an attorney's time is worth $150, why would you even bother with this form? Refuse the census, pay the $100, and spend the hour with a client. Your net gain is $50.

There are 82 questions in the survey they sent me. Why would I want to go through and answer 82 questions for? I can't only think of one reason, to remain consistent with my Constitutional beliefs since the Constitution requires a census taken every ten years. This form doesn't comply with the Constitution.

The enclosed letter, signed by a titleless C. Harvey Monk, Jr., states the SBO survey is given every five years. The Constitution states a census is needed to determine representation in Congress--not to question the affairs of business owners.

Finally, I find it interesting while they constantly remind you on each enclosure that you are required by law to fill out the SBO survey under Title 13 of the US Code, there is one enclosure without this reminder. The return envelope with the business-reply mail heading has these friendly words on back. "Thanks for your cooperation!" Since when is forcing someone into submission through penalties and other government bully laws cooperation? On three enclosures, I am told I am required to fill out this survey. I don't do it out of cooperation. I do it because the United States government, a government that claims you are free, has the power to make my life hell if I don't comply.

National Service: David Gergen, City Year and the Social Change Agenda by Aaron Dykes May 25, 2009

One of the social changes we see taking place is in the form of community service. During the election Obama called for a civilian military force, and his right-hand cronie Rahm Emanuel expanded on this idea of civilian military. Much speculation has rooted and stemmed from Obama's movement to create a forced-community service sector for the nation's teens. I found Aaron Dykes article interesting this morning as he ties former presidential adviser to Obama's community service plans and to a group I posted on earlier this month, City Year, who conduct military like drills.

Behind globalist David Gergen is the real sense of "change" that came in with Barack Obama’s election. The enthusiasm for this new president was met with calls for service and sacrifice– and that is something former presidential advisor Gergen put on the agenda years ago.

Gergen now lectures in public service at Harvard and directs its Center for Public Leadership at the John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Prior to the 2008 election, he was among those pushing for an expansion of Americorps from some 75,000 to more than 250,000 volunteers. That increase was quickly approved– by that exact number– under the passage of the National Service Act in the opening weeks of the Obama Administration.

One face of that expansion of service has come in City Year, on whose board David Gergen sits. In 2007, Gergen also helped push some 70 other groups through the ‘America Forward’ coalition along with a ‘venture philanthropy fund’ called New Profit, Inc. One of its groups was even founded by Gen. Colin Powell.

Gergen wrote that his first visit to City Year "was electrifying… there was so much vitality in the room that I came back and said, ‘I’m almost ready to give up my day job and go over there and work with them’."

David Gergen is perhaps the most vocal proponent of a new wave of ’social entrepreneurs’ whose businesses are modeled on a ‘more-than-profit’ basis. Most of these groups aim to incorporate a partnership between the public & private sectors (sometimes known as fascism). In other words, Gergen hopes such privately-conceived organizations can benefit from government funds:

"The government… has all the money. If you could unite the energy, ideals, and innovativeness of social entrepreneurs with the resources of government, you would have a powerhouse."
"My argument… is that social entrepreneurs need the government’s help as a partner and a financial supporter. The government shouldn’t take over these programs. Instead, I think we’re looking at new forms of social problem solving in which government enters into partnerships with social entrepreneurial organizations."

Encouraging Obama to usher in a new era of New Deal-style programs, David Gergen wrote only days before Obama’s inauguration that his ‘Call to Service Can’t Start Soon Enough.’

"The moment has come for a president — echoing great leaders from Lincoln, to Roosevelt to Kennedy — to call forth Americans to an era of common sacrifice. The moment is Obama’s to seize."

City Year, among other groups, not only purports to help communities, but requires its members to undergo physical training (PT) and other activities reminiscent of a paramilitary organization. In fact, it sounds a lot like White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s 2006 warning to a reporter that compulsory service would include "jumping jacks."

While that in itself is so troubling, Emanuel made clear that such service organizations would also step up in a time of national crisis:

"It will be a common experience and we will be prepared, God forbid, God forbid that there is a chemical hit, another terrorist act or natural disaster becoming more frequent - there’ll be a body of citizens who are ready and capable and trained - that’s all you have to think about," said Emanuel before smugly declaring, "We’re all here for you OK? It’s a circle of love."

In fact, Americorps and its subsidiary organizations, including City Year, fall under the umbrella of the Department of Homeland Security. This is also true of the private (*but government affiliated) Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) . The blurring between the lines of public and private is, again, noticeable and potentially troubling.

Frank Morales writes (Homeland Defense: The Pentagon Declares War on America):

In the wake of 9/11, CNCS was fully integrated into “homeland defense efforts”. In March 2002, the Corporation issued a “notice of availability of funds to strengthen communities and organizations in using service and volunteers to support homeland security.” With an emphasis on “public safety” and “freeing up police time”, the grants offered under the announcement “are to assist communities in getting involved in the war against terrorism on the home front.” In the area of “public safety” the grants “will help provide members to support police departments… in tasks and other functions that can be performed by non-sworn officers.” Now mind you, the volunteers “are not armed, nor can they make arrests, but they carry out vital tasks including organizing neighborhood watch groups…” They also “organize communities to identify and respond to crime and disorder problems…”

City Year, among other groups, clearly have a global and even one-world outlook. Its directors, including David Gergen, and even some members have stated as much. One of City Year’s flyers even carries the slogan "BE THE CHANGE, ADVANCING GLOBAL CITIZEN SERVICE."
David Gergen has criticized that Vietnam generation for failing to come together in a common cause, suggesting that collective sacrifice is part of what made the "greatest generation" of WWII so good. In March of 2007, he told the graduate students of the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas– who are coming in behind the Baby Boomer generation– that they can hope to "restore some sense that we’re all in this together– in the sense of not only building a better America, but a better world."

In a write-up about City Year, USA Today, recently noted the rise in service among the largely pro-Obama ‘millennial’ generation. They may have been inspired by disasters such as 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina, along with the added motivation of mandatory programs.
"Unlike culturally polarized Baby Boomers or cynical Gen-Xers, this is "a generation of activist doers," they write. More than 80% of Millennials did it, often because it was required."

David Gergen has long been an advocate of service. Wikipedia even notes the government servant and CNN correspondent as a "well-known proponent of mandatory national service."
It was Gergen who helped put on the ‘Service Forum’ on anniversary of September 11th during the 2008 campaign. Both McCain and Obama spoke in favor of greater service. Obama reiterated the need for a ‘civilian defense force’, restated his national service plan and prepared people for an era of sacrifice– including requirements on fuel emissions, energy efficiency and other "green" measures. Obama further emphasized the need to get youth involved in service from an early age.

Cash 4 Gold's $100 Million Gold Buying Frenzy

Is it coincidence on the news of the dollar's demise Cash 4 Gold announces it's $100 million gold buying spree? I don't think so. If you listen to the radio long enough you will here stories of people investing in gold knowing the US dollar is only paper, backed by the good faith of the United States government and nothing more.

The current dollar is a fiat currency, which means there's nothing backing it except the faith of the government saying it's worth something. Before 1971, money was backed by precious metals like gold. Now people are worried that their savings will continue to dwindle and are looking for ways to sure up the value of their money. Many look to gold whose value continues to rise while the federal government prints trillions lowering the value of the dollar.

When Richard M. Nixon turned to a fiat currency, gold sold for $35 an ounce. Today, nearly 40 years later, it's selling for nearly $1,000 and ounce and it's expected to rise.

I have heard many commercials in recent weeks selling the idea of gold. Cash 4 Gold is the exception. They are convincing people to sell their gold. In fact, they have set a goal they wish to buy $100 million in gold before July 4.

Now obviously, they are going to give you nowhere near the value of gold at it's present rate since they are a business looking to make money even if they are promising 20% over the previous pricing. With MC Hammer as it's spokes person and a blip on their Web site they recovered Brenden Stai's lost AFC Championship ring which was reported stolen, Cash 4 Gold is obviously banking on a huge increase in the price of gold over the coming year, if not sooner as in the next few months consider the aggressive nature of their campaign.

I don't believe the timing of their campaign is coincidental. As each day brings more news of a weakening dollar throughout the world, sound investments and other items of barter may be the solution to getting through the tough economic times coming from Obama's fiscal irresponsibility.

The Reagan Quote of the Day (Memorial Day 2009)

Today is the day we put aside to remember fallen heroes and to pray that no heroes will ever have to die for us again. It's a day of thanks for the valor of others, a day to remember the splendor of America and those of her children who rest in this cemetery and others. It's a day to be with the family and remember.

I was thinking this morning that across the country children and their parents will be going to the town parade and the young ones will sit on the sidewalks and wave their flags as the band goes by. Later, maybe, they'll have a cookout or a day at the beach. And that's good, because today is a day to be with the family and to remember.

Arlington, this place of so many memories, is a fitting place for some remembering. So many wonderful men and women rest here, men and women who led colorful, vivid, and passionate lives. There are the greats of the military: Bull Halsey and the Admirals Leahy, father and son; Black Jack Pershing; and the GI's general, Omar Bradley. Great men all, military men. But there are others here known for other things.

Here in Arlington rests a sharecropper's son who became a hero to a lonely people. Joe Louis came from nowhere, but he knew how to fight. And he galvanized a nation in the days after Pearl Harbor when he put on the uniform of his country and said, ``I know we'll win because we're on God's side.'' Audie Murphy is here, Audie Murphy of the wild, wild courage. For what else would you call it when a man bounds to the top of a disabled tank, stops an enemy advance, saves lives, and rallies his men, and all of it singlehandedly. When he radioed for artillery support and was asked how close the enemy was to his position, he said, "Wait a minute and I'll let you speak to them.'' [Laughter]

Michael Smith is here, and Dick Scobee, both of the space shuttle Challenger. Their courage wasn't wild, but thoughtful, the mature and measured courage of career professionals who took prudent risks for great reward -- in their case, to advance the sum total of knowledge in the world. They're only the latest to rest here; they join other great explorers with names like Grissom and Chaffee.

Oliver Wendell Holmes is here, the great jurist and fighter for the right. A poet searching for an image of true majesty could not rest until he seized on "Holmes dissenting in a sordid age.'' Young Holmes served in the Civil War. He might have been thinking of the crosses and stars of Arlington when he wrote: "At the grave of a hero we end, not with sorrow at the inevitable loss, but with the contagion of his courage; and with a kind of desperate joy we go back to the fight.''
All of these men were different, but they shared this in common: They loved America very much. There was nothing they wouldn't do for her. And they loved with the sureness of the young. It's hard not to think of the young in a place like this, for it's the young who do the fighting and dying when a peace fails and a war begins. Not far from here is the statue of the three servicemen -- the three fighting boys of Vietnam. It, too, has majesty and more. Perhaps you've seen it -- three rough boys walking together, looking ahead with a steady gaze. There's something wounded about them, a kind of resigned toughness. But there's an unexpected tenderness, too. At first you don't really notice, but then you see it. The three are touching each other, as if they're supporting each other, helping each other on.

I know that many veterans of Vietnam will gather today, some of them perhaps by the wall. And they're still helping each other on. They were quite a group, the boys of Vietnam -- boys who fought a terrible and vicious war without enough support from home, boys who were dodging bullets while we debated the efficacy of the battle. It was often our poor who fought in that war; it was the unpampered boys of the working class who picked up the rifles and went on the march. They learned not to rely on us; they learned to rely on each other. And they were special in another way: They chose to be faithful. They chose to reject the fashionable skepticism of their time. They chose to believe and answer the call of duty. They had the wild, wild courage of youth. They seized certainty from the heart of an ambivalent age; they stood for something.
And we owe them something, those boys. We owe them first a promise: That just as they did not forget their missing comrades, neither, ever, will we. And there are other promises. We must always remember that peace is a fragile thing that needs constant vigilance. We owe them a promise to look at the world with a steady gaze and, perhaps, a resigned toughness, knowing that we have adversaries in the world and challenges and the only way to meet them and maintain the peace is by staying strong.

That, of course, is the lesson of this century, a lesson learned in the Sudetenland, in Poland, in Hungary, in Czechoslovakia, in Cambodia. If we really care about peace, we must stay strong. If we really care about peace, we must, through our strength, demonstrate our unwillingness to accept an ending of the peace. We must be strong enough to create peace where it does not exist and strong enough to protect it where it does. That's the lesson of this century and, I think, of this day. And that's all I wanted to say. The rest of my contribution is to leave this great place to its peace, a peace it has earned.

Anonymous Gun Buyback Program in Los Angeles Provides Biased Anti-Gun Message from KCAL 9

You can almost sense the glee in the voices of the talking heads as they introduce LA's gun buyback program. The program is designed to take 'dangerous' guns off the streets of LA, but most of the guns shown are not the type of guns creating drive-by cross fire on LA's East side. I am skeptical that many criminals actually participated in the buy back program, as you hear in the video.

Notice how Stacey Butler implies that if these guns were melted in LA's smelter, they would definitely wind up in the wrong hands. This is story is propaganda designed to get law-abiding people to believe it is the right thing to do to free yourself of your Second Amendment Right. If you haven't turned your guns into the LAPD, they are going to wind up in the wrong hands and you could be responsible for the death of some innocent kid living in the hood they will have you believe.

There is also the misconception that many of the guns shown in the video are illegal to own. That's a lie perpetrated by the LAPD. Even the Tommy gun shown with the large barrel magazine, although hard to get, is legal in the United States.

Butler tries to get you to believe LA is safer now because of the LAPD's anonymous gun buy back program. I seriously doubt gun crimes are going down in LA. If anything, more people are placing themselves at risk of being victims because they have chosen to disarm. It's been proven, whenever conceal and carry laws are passed, crime goes down.

Finally, notice once again we see the message of the state. The guns are going from a form where they threatened the state to a form where they are good for the state. An unarmed people are good for the statists. Don't ever forget that.

A Salute to the Two World War II Veterans in My Family

They were born Robert Leroy Bastings (Bob) and Harley William Bowler (Bill), children of the depression. Both grew up with a strong work ethic, a love for country, and the reality that life wasn't easy. There wasn't a high school graduation for either, no college to detour service. They both dropped out of school to help their families survive the depression. They would pass these lessons on.

As young men, they shipped to Europe as members of the Army. Bill was one of the first Americans to fight in Europe after the attack on Pearl Harbor. The Army gave orders to drop him in France, but the plane received the wrong orders and he wound up in Germany--lost. His platoon reoriented themselves and found an old deserted German brewery, where they stayed safe until the Army managed to get them further supplies and correct their mistake. Luckily, the brewery still contained bier.

In battle, Bill fought the Germans. A bullet grazed his forehead, and a deep scar remained about an inch above his eyes. His cowboy hat covered it well later in life. I always thought it was a wrinkle, but as I grew up and asked to know about the war, my dad told me about the bullet. It's funny when you realize that a half inch more, and I might not be writing this today.

Robert went to London with his orders. I was old enough to discuss the war with him. It usually took place after watching a movie like Empire of the Sun. I was 16 and was working at the Northtown Mall Dickerson Theater. The tickets were my treat. He always told me he had shot a Nazi general. I didn't know if he was pulling my leg or not. He had Nazi ribbons stored in one of his wooden jewelry boxes. They were brass with a swastika on them. I never got too many more details other than that from him. They say they never like talking about it.

He met Molly Griffiths, my grandmother, in London. She told me that when he saw her, he immediately walked over and asked her out. I figure when you face death every day, your courage with women must rise as well. She had promised herself to an Englishman for marriage, but that didn't stop Robert. He pulled the pearls off her neck and told her if she wanted to see them again she would have to meet at this same place during his next leave. She did. Once again, the game of chance that led to my life amazes me. He married her in England and brought her back to the States.

Both these men had a pride in their country that you don't see today. As much as I love America, I can't live up to their sacrifices that they gave to this country. I saw the pride, even as a young child.

In December 1979, our country was going through the worst period that I have ever known. It was far worse than we are whining about today. Iran held Americans hostage. The Carter economy led to high inflation and interest rates so high they nearly stopped the nation in her tracks. On December 22, a young eight-year-old stood with his Grandpa Bowler in a gas station on Kearney Street and US 65 in Springfield, MO. I remember the words my Grandpa told the man at the counter. He was sad about the condition of America at the time. He looked down at me and then told the man that he didn't see much a future for his grandsons with the current direction the country. I sensed his sadness.

We left the gas station, got in his blue Chevrolet pickup truck with a camper shell, and went out and spotted a water well. He had built up B&R Drilling and achieved the American dream without ever finishing grade school.

Luckily, Reagan came along and gave the country direction, but my grandfather would never see the new morning in America. He died two days later. A few months after that, the AMVETs named the local post after him.

I always cherished the time I got with my other grandfather. Losing someone at eight years old made me realize how lucky I was to get a second shot. My Grandpa Bastings was a frugal man. The lessons of the depression taught him to live cautiously knowing that one day it might go bust again. He encouraged saving, hard work, and being honest. I would shrug it off as a young teenager. How could the Great Depression ever happen again? I know now that he knew what he was talking about. Missouri State University didn’t include wisdom like this in their tuition.
He gave himself like no other man I have known--always willing to help someone less fortunate than he. Those lessons he learned as child never left him, and he made good throughout his life.
Their generation will soon be gone, and unfortunately each new generation will hear less of these lessons. This alarms me.

World War II had its critics, all wars do, but the unity of America throughout the war would never be matched again. Americans then realized what was on the line, and they fought hard knowing losing wasn't a choice. Today, politicians build up defeat to gain power without realizing the cost of defeat. That's selfish and it's dangerous, Mr. Harry Reid.

We have become a society of instant gratification through the buying power of plastic, and after we have it, something else possesses us to place that plastic out once again. We repeat the process until one day the card is declined. We try to waive the embarrassment as people stand in line behind us. "I can't believe they didn't get that payment yet."

The interest rates force the balances higher and higher each month as we now struggle to make the minimum payments and try to afford a life priced out of reach. Are you prepared if the stock market was to drop another 2000 points this year? Could you survive if you were forced to give up your spoiled life?

I am not trying to be hard on you, but the America I know, isn't the America my grandfathers knew and fought for. We are spoiled, soft, complacent, and we lack values. We don't stand up for what is right and the core beliefs we believe in like God, country, and family. We allow a minority of extremist liberals in this country to challenge us as they label us as right-wing, Bible-thumping, gun toting nuts (right Obama?). If you don't believe me, look at how out of control California has become.

California voters passed Proposition 8. Now the minority is going to court to overturn the will of the people in hopes that homosexuals can marry. San Francisco schoolteachers force young grade school children to understand and accept alternative lifestyles that go far beyond gay relationships. This is not the America that my grandparents fought for. It's time the silent majority starts shouting above the rooftops, no matter how much the media ridicules us for doing so. Complacency would be a sad reason to lose our country.

The extreme left is becoming more vocal and empowered by each judicial victory. They know their battles are won in the courts where leftist judges legislate from the bench. These judges are ripping the Constitutional parchment without regard to those who fought for it.
If we forget the lessons the greatest generation taught us, we might be telling the next generation what we lost. That would make us the worst generation.

Paul McCartney Furious Over Google Street View

I am a huge fan of Google Earth and of Paul McCartney. Apparently Macca isn't as fond of Google's amazing ability to display crisp details of nearly any place on earth.

McCartney's security team alerted Sir Paul that fans were watching his place over the internet, which I agree is a little creepy. Macca has been concerned about his security since John Lennon was murdered in 1980. He asked Google to remove the images of his homes.

McCartney become a little nervous when he found out fans could get a 360 degree tour of his home online and collect details about his dwelling. Google has complied with the Beatles' wish.

Obama Says Something Smart that Agrees with what Bungalow Bill has Said (sort of), and then Says Something Stupid in the Next Sentence

Obama said today, "we are out of money." After four months of record spending he finally realizes we might be in trouble. Way to go Barry! It's glad to see that Harvard noggin of yours work four months behind the times, it's too bad though you totally screw your revelation within a second of your profound statement.

SCULLY: You know the numbers, $1.7 trillion debt, a national deficit of $11 trillion. At what point do we run out of money?

OBAMA: Well, we are out of money now. We are operating in deep deficits, not caused by any decisions we've made on health care so far. This is a consequence of the crisis that we've seen and in fact our failure to make some good decisions on health care over the last several decades.

This tells me all I need to know. Obama really is an idiot. He says the country is out of money (which is correct), but then he blames it in on private health care witch has little to do with the federal deficit. The private health care industry don't appropriate funds in Congress, Mr. Obama. How is it responsible for the deficit? Private health care is no different than you going to Walmart except you have insurance to help you out in most cases. What this has to do with us being out of money is beyond me!

Let's get to the idiot part. Obama realizes we are out of money but doesn't back off one of the largest federal spending plans ever proposed in the history of our country--nationalized health care. Notice Obama doesn't really blame any of his and the Democrats wild spending in recent months. He is on pace to spend more in 20 months than George W. Bush spent in eight years. I will be amazed if we make it through four years of Obama. Obviously, Obama has not plans to stop spending.

A Recent Bob Dylan Interview Provides an Element of Truth about Liberty and Technology

I was reading a recent interview with Bob Dylan which coincided with the release of his 33rd studio album, Together Through Life. Dylan touches on something that I have seen wrong in America for the last few years. Here's the quote:

I have long been a believer that technology has dumbed down an element of America and made particularly younger Americans tune out and often robbed their critical thinking skills. Something it feels as young Americans believe they have multiple lives because that's what video games teach. As they tune out, they are losing the liberty which they should have been in tune with prior to sacrificing their lives to the gadgets.

Look around you. How do kids communicate anymore? They communicate through a series of coded language from a keypad consisting of 12 buttons, and they are losing skills doing so. It doesn't promote deep thought. It just skims the surface. Many of them have no clue of the freedoms because they are so entangled in technology and place such and emphasis on it that they are losing what really matters.

Last month, 44 states saw net jobs losses. Three of the top four were blue states, California, Michigan, and Ohio. The lone red state was Texas.

Interestingly enough Arkansas saw more job creation, and we know that's not what Democrats want to hear as they continue to take strides against Walmart in hopes they can get the nation's number one retailer to unionize.

I remind you Obama started talking like the worst was behind us, but day after day we see we clearly aren't out of this nor is any of Obama's plans stimulating any relief.

To make matters worse, as Obama and Timothy Geithner print trillions, the dollar continues to lose value. It continues a downward slide against the euro, pound, and yen. All the while Obama continues to spend at such a rapid pace that it seems we are in a hole we may never get out of.

I'd prepare to brace yourselves, because we are heading into something I have never seen in my lifetime. I have a feeling the coming economic period will make Jimmy Carter's mess look mild.

Another Reason to Stop Buying Chrysler, Dodges, and Chevrolet

Hummers and Cigarettes posted a letter from Sunshine Dodge Isuzu. After billions in bailouts to Chrysler and GM that people like George C. Joseph, the owner of Sunshine Dodge, will pay back in the form of taxes, Joseph is the real victim in the bailouts. After years of his families investment and hard work to become a successful Dodge dealer, his dealership is being yanked from him with little notice to save him from losing millions of dollars.

There are no bailouts for Joseph and his family. Only a worthless inventory of new cars that will lose their new status, parts, and equipment. At one time, Sunshine Dodge employed over 70 people. Consider that when you hear nearly 4000, and possibly more, dealerships are being closed by the manufacturers. That's over a quarter-million jobs lost.

My name is George C. Joseph. I am the sole owner of Sunshine Dodge-Isuzu, a family owned and operated business in Melbourne, Florida. My family bought and paid for this automobile franchise 35 years ago in 1974. I am the second generation to manage this business.

On Thursday, May 14, 2009 I was notified that my Dodge franchise, that we purchased, will be taken away from my family on June 9, 2009 without compensation and given to another dealer at no cost to them. My new vehicle inventory consists of 125 vehicles with a financed balance of 3 million dollars. This inventory becomes impossible to sell with no factory incentives beyond June 9, 2009. Without the Dodge franchise we can no longer sell a new Dodge as "new," nor will we be able to do any warranty service work. Additionally, my Dodge parts inventory, (approximately $300,000.) is virtually worthless without the ability to perform warranty service. There is no offer from Chrysler to buy back the vehicles or parts inventory.

Our facility was recently totally renovated at Chrysler's insistence, incurring a multi-million dollar debt in the form of a mortgage at Sun Trust Bank.

Apparently hope and change isn't working for thousands of hard working Americans who worked hard to build something great, and because of Obama's ignorance and desire for power, those people are being robbed of their livelihood.

I know I will never purchase another MOPAR product, not even a new Dodge Challenger like I promised myself, after seeing the continuing results of the auto bailouts. Obama, the UAW, and the careless leadership of Chrysler has turned my long time love for Dodge muscle cars to total disgust. General Motors is no better.

I bought something I told myself I would never buy again this past weekend--a Ford from a Ford dealer. I gave up the dream of my Dodge Challenger because what Chrysler and GM have done is just evil. If you don't believe me, just reread the letter. I don't just hope Obama fails--I hope Chrysler and GM fail. I believe they will from the fallout when this is all over. Just wait until the first Chery reads Chevrolet.

Congress Wants 145% Tax Increase on Beer: Liquor and Wine Increases Coming Too

Mancow reports today Congress wants 145% tax increase on beer. If this isn't a middle-class tax on the hardworking, NASCAR loving, armchair quarterbacks, I don't know what is.

This tax increase, along with a tax increase on wine and liquor, will go to pay for healthcare, and it can't be good news for St. Louis, which is already seeing job losses from the recent In-Bev merger with Anheuser Busch.

The proposed tax will raise $60 billion over the next ten years. The tax on a six pack will increase by .48, a 750 ml bottle of wine will increase by .48, and hard liquor would increase by .40 per fifth.

I have told you we have just begun to see the increases in taxes for the purpose of health care. Remember the English just debated whether or not Pringles are potato chips in order to raise taxes on them (they have nationalized healthcare). It's going to get much worse than this before it's all said and done. Have you figured it out yet? HEALTHCARE ISN'T FREE! How you will pay for healthcare will be transformed to give the power of your healthcare over the government so they can screw up your health through rationing healthcare.

I myself am learning ways to avoid these taxes. I brew my own beer and soon will be making my own wine--all tax free (for now).

More News Showing Obama is Lying About Our Economy Improving

GM will file bankruptcy sometime next week. Their restructuring plan includes sending American jobs overseas while importing cars from China. What that Obama unemployment number go up. All of this is at the cost of American taxpayers with $13 billion in bailouts and $7 billion more coming. GM won't pay back a dime.

The dollar has fallen to a four-month low to the Euro. Chinese, Valenzuela, Brazil, and Russia want to walk away from the dollar as the international currency for trading. This will lower its value even more. US credit worthiness has become so fragile that Timothy Geithner says he is committed to cutting the deficit--yeah but Obama's budget and continuance to pump billions into failing American companies isn't getting Geithner far. Besides, do you really thing Geithner has a clue or is willing to tell Obama stop spending. Give me a break!

Unemployment has risen each week since Obama has taken office. The stimulus has done nothing to create jobs, but it has pushed this country further into debt at a pace America may not recover from. No president in history has spent money at the pace Obama has.

Crude oil is on the rise once again, which could be the final blow to may companies if America has to tighten their belts again this summer and stay home and out of car lots. I am not economist, but when I look at who all this interplays with each other, I am not bold enough to make the statements about the economy like Obama has in the last couple weeks. There is no light. Obama's economy keeps getting worse, just like it gets worse around the world.

The Taliban will increase tensions in Pakistan, a nuclear power, and they could return stronger in the region. Iran is successfully testing missiles that reach as far as Europe and can hold their nuclear weapons. Obama doesn't have a clue. Let's talk through the rest of the year he tells Netanyahu. Obama is clueless, as he gambles our country's security by releasing pictures and details from GITMO. Obama is becoming a mistake we may never recover from.

Morley Safer Receives Free Speech Award then Attacks the Free Speech of the Blogosphere

Isn't it ironic on the night Morley Safer from 60 Minutes receives the Fred Friendly First Amendment Award from Quinnipiac University’s School of Communications, he attacks the blogosphere for presenting views of the news.

“The blogosphere is no alternative, crammed as it is with the ravings and manipulations of every nut with a keyboard. Good journalism is structured and structure means responsibility,” he said. He added later, “…I would trust citizen journalism as much as I would trust citizen surgery.”

Mr. Safer, on April 15th of this year, I saw a reporter from CNN named Susan Rosegden all but physically attack a man who she asked a question to. Is this the quality journalism that you speak of?

The older the 60 Minutes cast gets the crazier they get. To think that Americans behind a keyboard can't look at a variety of news stories and present what happened followed by commentary seems very closed minded to me. I guess he worries that he and people like Rosegden have become relics of days gone by, so he has to attack those who are a threat to him--and of all nights, a night he is being celebrated for his efforts to promote free speech. Geez! Someone check this man's sanity before you let him report another story.

I seem to recall a story at his own network of one Dan Rather who messed around with some National Guard papers of George W. Bush. I guess we are supposed to trust the good people at CBS after that, right Morley?

You people in the media have become the joke. Every week there are more attacks on the people who are making you irrelevant. You make these silly comments without acknowledging that your own network has twisted the truth to shape the outcome of a presidential election. Have you no shame Mr. Safer?

How much longer will it be until Safer gets Keith Olbermann a contract on 60 Minutes? You really have to wonder.

The Democrats Protect Their Own: Pelosi Won't be Investigated For Now

If a Senator puts his shoe under a door in a certain manner in the Minneapolis airport, you can bet the bloodthirsty Democrats are going to make an issue out of it. When it comes to protecting secrets vital to America's security as well as the security of service men and women in uniform, they won't even look into what should be the scandal of the year--Nancy Pelosi's lies.

I get why they want it to go away. It wasn't just Pelosi who was briefed about going on at GITMO. My guess is if you were in a leadership position in Congress, you knew. Pelosi is just the sacrificial lamb because even if the Democrats voted against probing Pelosi's knowledge of the incident, she will always take the heat from this. I wonder how many Democrats are just as guilty. Huh, you coward Harry Reid?

Today's vote in the House failed approval to investigate Pelosi sponsored by Rob Bishop (R-UT). 252 representatives voted to keep the truth from the American people. Shameful!

Pelosi's office said, "This is partisan politics and an attempt by the Republicans to distract from the real issue of creating jobs and making progress on health care, energy and education."

Don't you get tired of these ignorant comments from the offices of these idiots. Pelosi has been in power as the Speaker for over two years. In that time job losses have fallen off the charts, education still sucks, there has been no energy solution and she has blocked all energy solutions in which she doesn't directly benefit from with investments she has made with T-Boone Pickens and others. Please God get her hands off our health care.

Whenever Democrats are in trouble they always say these we need to get back to doing the work of the people bits. Do they ever do any work? I mean these things stay problems for decades to give people like Pelosi a quote to make us think she cares.

I still believe she is going down. She has lost credibility and there are many in the Democratic party who don't like her and wants her position. Trust me, power-hungry Obama wants her gone as well. He wants someone in there who is a yes sir person and isn't as hungry for the power as he is. All these people really make me sick.

I am anxious once this gets out to see the same people who praised the world media to demand an apology from Gerald Warner. These same people are too ignorant to realize the damage Obama has done to his country in four short months. There is a termite in the White House and it's damaging everything.

Obama plans to push the national debt to nearly $20 trillion, he has put Americans at danger by politicizing interrogation techniques and releasing pictures, and he is oh so arrogant. Do you even recognize American four months later. I don't.

I am regretting the day my paycheck starts paying for the damage he has caused and continues to cause. Jeffery Immelt, Obama's little bourgeois socialist buddy, keeps promoting cap and trade. This will further weaken America's industry and cost more jobs. I don't know how Obama plans for these jobs to come back either. He is doing nothing to promote the return of these jobs. If You Think This Car Review is Bad, Just Wait Until Obama and the Government Starts Building Cars: Honda Insight Hybrid

Rush Limbaugh featured this review of the Honda Insight on his show today. Before he read this, which had me laughing at times and crying for the state of my country at other times, he pointed out that Obama's CAFE standards will kill more Americans on the highways than the total American deaths in Iraq. He cited a statistic by the National Highway Safety Administration, and something this blog has tried to drive home with Obama's plans to shink cars.

For every 100 pounds lighter they make cars to meet the CAFE standards, thee NHSA estimates there are up to 715 more deaths on the highway per year. Obama wants the biggest cars off the road, and chances are we are going to have cars we hate.

This review of the Honda Insight Hybrid by Jeremy Clarkson shows what a sad state the auto industry will be in with more forced oversite and government mandates.

Honda Insight 1.3 IMA SE Hybrid

Much has been written about the Insight, Honda’s new low-priced hybrid. We’ve been told how much carbon dioxide it produces, how its dashboard encourages frugal driving by glowing green when you’re easy on the throttle and how it is the dawn of all things. The beginning of days.
So far, though, you have not been told what it’s like as a car; as a tool for moving you, your friends and your things from place to place.

So here goes. It’s terrible. Biblically terrible. Possibly the worst new car money can buy. It’s the first car I’ve ever considered crashing into a tree, on purpose, so I didn’t have to drive it any more.

The biggest problem, and it’s taken me a while to work this out, because all the other problems are so vast and so cancerous, is the gearbox. For reasons known only to itself, Honda has fitted the Insight with something called constantly variable transmission (CVT).

It doesn’t work. Put your foot down in a normal car and the revs climb in tandem with the speed. In a CVT car, the revs spool up quickly and then the speed rises to match them. It feels like the clutch is slipping. It feels horrid.

And the sound is worse. The Honda’s petrol engine is a much-shaved, built-for-economy, low-friction 1.3 that, at full chat, makes a noise worse than someone else’s crying baby on an airliner. It’s worse than the sound of your parachute failing to open. Really, to get an idea of how awful it is, you’d have to sit a dog on a ham slicer.

So you’re sitting there with the engine screaming its head off, and your ears bleeding, and you’re doing only 23mph because that’s about the top speed, and you’re thinking things can’t get any worse, and then they do because you run over a small piece of grit.

Because the Honda has two motors, one that runs on petrol and one that runs on batteries, it is more expensive to make than a car that has one. But since the whole point of this car is that it could be sold for less than Toyota’s Smugmobile, the engineers have plainly peeled the suspension components to the bone. The result is a ride that beggars belief.

There’s more. Normally, Hondas feel as though they have been screwed together by eye surgeons. This one, however, feels as if it’s been made from steel so thin, you could read through it. And the seats, finished in pleblon, are designed specifically, it seems, to ruin your skeleton. This is hairy-shirted eco-ism at its very worst.

However, as a result of all this, prices start at £15,490 — that’s £3,000 or so less than the cost of the Prius. But at least with the Toyota there is no indication that you’re driving a car with two motors. In the Insight you are constantly reminded, not only by the idiotic dashboard, which shows leaves growing on a tree when you ease off the throttle (pass the sick bucket), but by the noise and the ride and the seats. And also by the hybrid system Honda has fitted.

In a Prius the electric motor can, though almost never does, power the car on its own. In the Honda the electric motor is designed to “assist” the petrol engine, providing more get-up-and-go when the need arises. The net result is this: in a Prius the transformation from electricity to petrol is subtle. In the Honda there are all sorts of jerks and clunks.

And for what? For sure, you could get 60 or more mpg if you were careful. And that’s not bad for a spacious five-door hatchback. But for the same money you could have a Golf diesel, which
will be even more economical. And hasn’t been built out of rice paper to keep costs down.

Of course, I am well aware that there are a great many people in the world who believe that the burning of fossil fuels will one day kill all the Dutch and that something must be done.

They will see the poor ride, the woeful performance, the awful noise and the spine-bending seats as a price worth paying. But what about the eco-cost of building the car in the first place?

Honda has produced a graph that seems to suggest that making the Insight is only marginally more energy-hungry than making a normal car. And that the slight difference is more than negated by the resultant fuel savings.

Hmmm. I would not accuse Honda of telling porkies. That would be foolish. But I cannot see how making a car with two motors costs the same in terms of resources as making a car with one.
The nickel for the battery has to come from somewhere. Canada, usually. It has to be shipped to Japan, not on a sailing boat, I presume. And then it must be converted, not in a tree house, into a battery, and then that battery must be transported, not on an ox cart, to the Insight production plant in Suzuka. And then the finished car has to be shipped, not by Thor Heyerdahl, to Britain, where it can be transported, not by wind, to the home of a man with a beard who thinks he’s doing the world a favour.

Why doesn’t he just buy a Range Rover, which is made from local components, just down the road? No, really — weird-beards buy locally produced meat and vegetables for eco-reasons. So why not apply the same logic to cars?

At this point you will probably dismiss what I’m saying as the rantings of a petrolhead, and think that I have my head in the sand.

That’s not true. While I have yet to be convinced that man’s 3% contribution to the planet’s greenhouse gases affects the climate, I do recognise that oil is a finite resource and that as it becomes more scarce, the political ramifications could well be dire. I therefore absolutely accept the urgent need for alternative fuels.

But let me be clear that hybrid cars are designed solely to milk the guilt genes of the smug and the foolish. And that pure electric cars, such as the G-Wiz and the Tesla, don’t work at all because they are just too inconvenient.

Since about 1917 the car industry has not had a technological revolution — unlike, say, the world of communications or film. There has never been a 3G moment at Peugeot nor a need to embrace DVD at Nissan. There has been no VHS/Betamax battle between Fiat and Renault.

Car makers, then, have had nearly a century to develop and hone the principles of suck, squeeze, bang, blow. And they have become very good at it.

But now comes the need to throw away the heart of the beast, the internal combustion engine, and start again. And, critically, the first of the new cars with their new power systems must be better than the last of the old ones. Or no one will buy them. That’s a tall order. That’s like dragging Didier Drogba onto a cricket pitch and expecting him to be better than Ian Botham.
And here’s the kicker. That’s exactly what Honda has done with its other eco-car, the Clarity. Instead of using a petrol engine to charge up the electric motor’s batteries, as happens on the Insight, the Clarity uses hydrogen: the most abundant gas in the universe.

The only waste product is water. The car feels like a car. And, best of all, the power it produces is so enormous, it can be used by day to get you to 120mph and by night to run all the electrical appliances in your house. This is not science fiction. There is a fleet of Claritys running around California right now.

There are problems to be overcome. Making hydrogen is a fuel-hungry process, and there is no infrastructure. But Alexander Fleming didn’t look at his mould and think, “Oh dear, no one will put that in their mouth”, and give up.

I would have hoped, therefore, that Honda had diverted every penny it had into making hydrogen work rather than stopping off on the way to make a half-arsed halfway house for fools and madmen.

The only hope I have is that there are enough fools and madmen out there who will buy an Insight to look sanctimonious outside the school gates. And that the cash this generates can be used to develop something a bit more constructive.

Barack Obama and the CIA: Why Does President Pantywaste Obama Hate America so Badly

Mark Levin just read this piece on his show. It's so brilliant that I had to post it for those who may not listen to Levin to read. It's a piece from the UK Telegraph by Gerald Warner.

If al-Qaeda, the Taliban and the rest of the Looney Tunes brigade want to kick America to death, they had better move in quickly and grab a piece of the action before Barack Obama finishes the job himself. Never in the history of the United States has a president worked so actively against the interests of his own people - not even Jimmy Carter.

Obama's problem is that he does not know who the enemy is. To him, the enemy does not squat in caves in Waziristan, clutching automatic weapons and reciting the more militant verses from the Koran: instead, it sits around at tea parties in Kentucky quoting from the US Constitution. Obama is not at war with terrorists, but with his Republican fellow citizens. He has never abandoned the campaign trail.

That is why he opened Pandora's Box by publishing the Justice Department's legal opinions on waterboarding and other hardline interrogation techniques. He cynically subordinated the national interest to his partisan desire to embarrass the Republicans. Then he had to rush to Langley, Virginia to try to reassure a demoralised CIA that had just discovered the President of the United States was an even more formidable foe than al-Qaeda.

"Don't be discouraged by what's happened the last few weeks," he told intelligence officers. Is he kidding? Thanks to him, al-Qaeda knows the private interrogation techniques available to the US intelligence agencies and can train its operatives to withstand them - or would do so, if they had not already been outlawed.

So, next time a senior al-Qaeda hood is captured, all the CIA can do is ask him nicely if he would care to reveal when a major population centre is due to be hit by a terror spectacular, or which American city is about to be irradiated by a dirty bomb. Your view of this situation will be dictated by one simple criterion: whether or not you watched the people jumping from the twin towers.

Obama promised his CIA audience that nobody would be prosecuted for past actions. That has already been contradicted by leftist groups with a revanchist ambition to put Republicans, headed if possible by Condoleezza Rice, in the dock. Talk about playing party politics with national security. Martin Scheinin, the United Nations special investigator for human rights, claims that senior figures, including former vice president Dick Cheney, could face prosecution overseas. Ponder that - once you have got over the difficulty of locating the United Nations and human rights within the same dimension.

President Pantywaist Obama should have thought twice before sitting down to play poker with Dick Cheney. The former vice president believes documents have been selectively published and that releasing more will prove how effective the interrogation techniques were. Under Dubya's administration, there was no further atrocity on American soil after 9/11.

President Pantywaist's recent world tour, cosying up to all the bad guys, excited the ambitions of America's enemies. Here, they realised, is a sucker they can really take to the cleaners. His only enemies are fellow Americans. Which prompts the question: why does President Pantywaist Obama hate America so badly?

The Obama Misery Index is Rising Quickly

 Rush Limbaugh had a caller who asked why we haven’t heard about the Obama Misery Index. I researched the number during his call. The number has increased half a point in the first four months of his presidency. The reason for this is because inflation hasn’t kicked in. I don’t need to tell you, you can’t print $3 trillion without inflation.

It’s clear more unemployment is coming. It’s clear inflation and possibly hyperinflation is coming. When Obama started on January 20, Bush left Obama an index of  7.63. It has risen to  8.12. Given the similarities of Obama and Jimmy Carter, let’s look at Carter’s record worse index which was 21.98% in June of 1980. My prediction is based on the direction Obama has taken by printing money mixed with news companies like General Motors are moving jobs to China, there could be a real chance Carter’s disastrous index number could be beaten.

Let’s keep an eye on the number. Like Rush said, the media isn’t going to report it. It’s already up half a percent in just four months. Just for the record, George W. Bush lowered the average Misery Index he was left by Clinton by -.64%. I bet you don’t hear that in the news either.

Obama's Speech on Closing GITMO Today Leads Me to One Thought

Obama defended his stance on closing GITMO today. During his speech he commented that no prisoner has ever escaped from America’s super prisons. My personal feelings is that’s not the issue. The issue is in September of 2001, a group of radical Islamic terrorists infiltrated the United States and beat the security measures of our federal, state, and local government. They successfully pulled of an attack on the United States killing thousands of Americans.

My thought on Obama’s comment is this. If they successfully pulled off the 9/11 operation, what’s preventing them from going to small-town America where prisons often sit and pulling off a terrorist act to free their jihadist brothers. That’s a scenario I would rather not face once they bring these terrorists to our shores. Obama doesn’t take the terrorist threat serious enough to think beyond a campaign promise. Americans would be smart to pay attention to Dick Cheney as he speaks the truth concerning Obama and terrorism.

This is not a traditional enemy. This is not like keeping Japanese and Germans here during World War II. This enemy is unconventional, and who knows what they would be willing to do to free these men. I don’t think we should take the chance based on Obama’s naivety.

Recent Tornados Force Schools to Use Churches to Function

The recent storms and tornados to hit Missouri once again left a few area schools damaged and prevented class. Our Sunday services at Second Baptist Church were canceled so Fair Grove High School could hold their graduation ceremonies after their school was hit by a possible tornado. Virginia Davis of Springfield, MO made an excellent point about the nation’s public education system. Her To the Point letter appeared in today’s Springfield News-Leader.

Schools turn to churches

I can't help but wonder how many parents kept their children home to avoid their being traumatized by being exposed to a view of the Ten Commandments on a wall when churches rushed to the rescue of schools damaged by storms and "God's house" was used for the education of their children. Funny how we can deny access to God in our schools, but we want access to His facilities anytime there is a need, isn't it?

Bravo Virginia! Bravo. I don’t think it gets said any better than that.
