A Little Political Humor to End a Chaotic Political Month

An elderly man suffered a massive stroke. The family drove wildly to get him to the emergency room. After what seemed like a very long wait, the ER Doctor appeared, wearing his scrubs and a long face. Sadly, he said, "I'm afraid he is brain-dead, but his heart is still beating."

"Oh, Dear God," cried his wife, her hands clasped against her cheeks with shock! "We've never had a Democrat in the family before !"

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices: 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash.

The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes.

Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi.

She is the leader of the majority party.

She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red .

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.

Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

One Man, Many Taxes, 365 Days and the Ozzy Osbourne Family

I guess a lot of American Idol fans are happy Obama is out of the country, so their how isn't interrupted this weekend. I didn't realize American Idol was two hours long. I was waiting for the new Ozzy Osbourne show to come on, and American Idol went into the 8:00 hour. I need to laugh right now, and the Osbourne's look funny from what I have seen on the preview.

Ozzy used to scare me. I remember when Blizzard of Oz came out in 1980 and he played Springfield's Hammon Student Center. I had bad dreams my parents made me go see Ozzy, and he was scary. Plus people were doing drugs everywhere. Turns out, he's just a family guy. Not your average Fred Flintstone or anything, but the Prince of Darkness actually showed up to PTA meetings. That would have been fun to watch.

Here we are at the end of the quarter. Nearly $5000 of my money has been taken from me in one form of tax or another. Imagine how good the economy would be if we were allowed to keep half of that. The surprising number is how quick sales tax adds up. If you remember right, there was a huge controversy in Springfield, Missouri over the city's mismanagement of police and firemen pensions. They put a sales increase on the ballot which was defeated. Coincidentally, the city came up with some money from some unpaid taxes from AT&T which will probably help make up the mismanagement in funds. Look at the amount I have paid in sales tax alone.

Another Day, Another Democrat Nominee with Tax Issues: Kathleen Sebelius Cheated on her Taxes Too

Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, and current Health and Human Service nominee, admitted to tax problems today. Tax problem: an infectious disease found commonly in Democrats appointed by Obama.

Sebelius decided to correct three years of tax returns after she was nominated for the position. Sebelius explained to the Senate today the errors involved charitable giving, business expenses, and the sale of a home. Two of the three have tax cheat written all over them, but we expect this out of Obama nominees who will one day tell us we need to pay more for the massive spending increases currently taking place.

The Governor owed over $7,000 in taxes from returns dated 2005 to 2007. We have just come to expect this from Democrats--after all they are the party of the people--people referring to the people the enforce higher taxes on.

Remember, Kansas stopped paying refunds because of the lack of money in the state treasury under her watch.

DeAunta Farrow Imitation Firearms Act: Arkansas State House Bans Sales of Realistic Toy Guns

As a child, I loved playing cowboys and indians and war. Arkansas children may be forced to look for other avenues to stretch their imagination as the state house voted to ban the sales of realistic toy guns.

The bill, sponsored by Representative Fred Allen, passed 55-38. The bill actually failed the day before, but Allen requested a revote once other members were present.

The DeAunta Farrow Imitation Firearms Act is another one of those bills with good intentions, but bad results. This will lead to further indoctrination that guns are evil, when in fact, guns protect the freedoms and liberties we are given in this country. Allen introduced the bill after West Memphis police fatally shot a young boy who held up a toy gun. I am sure the officers are under a great amount of guilty, but I question if they acted properly. I haven't seen any video of the incident, so I don't wish to pass much judgement on the officers. There is clearly a difference in the cheap plastic of a toy gun and the polymer and metal of a real gun. There is also a difference in sizes. I believe this is the wrong approach and further stigmatizes guns in the United States. There has been too much of that recently between law enforcement reports and Secretary of State Bill's wife heading down to Mexico blaming American guns for Mexican violence.

The Top Blogs of March 2009: Bungalow Bill's Month in Review

March was quite a month! I am not even sure I recognize American anymore. I am sure you will see why with the top ten blogs for the month of March.

1. Am I Going Crazy? HR 465 FEMA Camps, Modern Militia Movement Report, Gun Control: Is the United States turning into a police state? With many of the bills and reports coming from various government agencies, one thing is for sure, liberty is under attack.
   


2. Governor Jay Nixon's Modern Movement Militia Report: I May Already be Considered a Possible Domestic Terrorist: The Modern Militia Movement Report drew national attention and had Jay Nixon supporting it one week and running from it the next week, while pointing the finger for its origin to former Governor Matt Blunt. Blunt issued a statement this week basically calling Nixon's accusation crazy. I happen to side with Governor Blunt on this one, and the Governor Nixon's office didn't want to work with me to release any documents as to its origin. We hope Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder places enough pressure in Jefferson City to expose Nixon's guilt.
   


3. Page Eleven Figure Nine: Obama's Budget Scream Socialism: Obama's budget took a few pointers from Karl Marx. Attack the achievers and forget they provide jobs, benefits, and drive the economy. If you have any doubts of Obama's intentions to turn the United States into a socialist country, look no further that Page Eleven Figure Nine and read pages five and 11 as well.
   


4. HR1388: Embraced by Both Republicans and Democrats: Obama is a master of language. He constantly plays word games to drive his rhetoric. Republicans supported HR1388 because of it's language geared towards community service. When you are forced to volunteer, it's not really volunteering. Is it? HR1388 may be the draft for Obama's civilian military he promised to build during the 2008 campaign.
   


5. Is Your Bumper Sticker Labeling You a Domestic Terrorist: Bumper Sticker Profiling in the State of Missouri: This was the blog that posted before the national news reported it. This was also the blog that generated my first blog-related television interview. I always envied Bob McCarty's blog for the exposure he gets, and I got a little taste of it. By the way, this was Governor Jay Nixon's attack on conservatism as he tried to associate conservatives and libertarians as domestic terrorist.
   


6. The Modern Militia Movement Report: Actual Copy: After making several calls to Missouri law enforcement offices including Troop D of the Missouri Highway Patrol, I finally found a legitimate copy of the MAIC report. As you can see, the report drove lots of interest to my site as we had nearly 20,000 hits this month many directed towards the report.
   


7. New Hampshire HCR-6 Demands Return of Power to New Hampshire Based on Jeffersonian/Constitutional Principles: There was disappointment around the country, not just New Hampshire as HCR-6 was defeated in the New Hampshire State House. How could they defeat a bill that was based on the Constitution is beyond me. So much for Live Free or Die.
   


8. Two Teachers Having Sex With Same Student: Linda Nef and Valynne Bowers Arrested For Relationship: What's it going to take to rid the public schools from teachers who obviously lack the maturity to teach. Parental involvement is what it will take.
   


9. Obama Gets Twittered: Young Business Leaders Share Ideas with Dear Leader on the Economy: Obama held a young business leaders summit at the White House. Invited was the CEO of Twitter who failed to create an actual business plan that produced profit. Twitter now looks to profit from its site in the future, but as of now, the only thing Twitter is successful at is hits. Come back when you show a profit.
   


10. Saul Alinsky's Rules For Radicals At Play Against AIG: Obama's Mastered Rules #10 and #12 to Create AIG Hate: If there is one word to describe Obama's governing style, it's chaos. If you look close enough into the chaos, you will see Obama follows Alinsky's Rules For Radicals. If you look long enough, you begin to cite which rules are in play. They were quite evident in the attacks against the AIG bonuses.

Governor Nixon's Office's Response for my Request of State Records Concerning the Modern Militia Movement Report

Last week, Missouri Political News Service ran a story about Josh Carter being harassed after requesting documents from Governor Jay Nixon's office under the Sunshine Law concerning the Modern Militia Movement Report. I made the request last Thursday, March 26, 2009 by telephone and submitted the e-mail they requested after my conversation with Nikki Loethen, the Deputy Counsel for Nixon. Today, I followed up with Loethen to verify my request was processed.

When I returned home from work, I had an unlikely response from Governor Nixon's office.

This letter is in your response to the open records request, e-mailed to me on March 26, 2009. This Office does not have any records concerning the development or distribution of this report.

How unlikely is it that the Governor's office has no records of the development and distribution of a report he quite proudly stood behind until it became a political firestorm? I'm just not buying it. They probably felt since I was insignificant that I would give up.

I will continue to encourage Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder to move forward with his investigation so these documents are released. I know in the end, Governor Nixon's fingerprints will be all over the MAIC Report. By the way, at this time, I know of no harassment from Missouri's law enforcement community towards me or people I know.

Pay for Performance Act of 2009: Barney Frank Wants a Central Government to Determine Your Pay

Barney Frank and the House Financial Services Committee is looking at a possible bill that would impose government control over the pay of all employees in the United States whose company receives federal capital investment dollars. No longer would you be able to receive a pay based on your merit. No longer would you be able to negotiate raises. If Frank has his way, the federal government will approve what you are paid for your work. If you don’t believe we are moving towards communism, consider this collective idea in which a strong central government rates the collective not the individual. The act work impose wage controls over any company that has received capital investment from the United States government.

This is directed at AIG initially, but consider most companies start under federal small business loans, and it’s not hard to see that many of us will be affected by this bill. At one time or another most companies look to the federal government for help whether it’s to get started, expand, or as in AIG, for a bailout. I would avoid the latter at all cost.

Netanyahu Issues Warning to Obama: Take Care of Iran or We Will

Benjamin Netanyahu issued a warning to Dear Leader Obama today, either do something about Iran or we will take care of the problem. As Iran gets closer to developing nuclear weapons, Obama has shown little interest in stopping the Iranian regime from furthering their desire for nukes. Netanyahu will demonstrate what a real leader in this world looks like. He knows Israel is a target for any Iranian nuclear warhead. Like Sean Hannity, I agree. Obama is a coward when it comes to foreign policy, and his policy on Iran is dangerous. Radical Islamic states with nuclear capabilities isn’t healthy for a crazy world. Why Obama and the libs overlook this simple fact is beyond me.

General Motors Total Confidence Plan: How Does a Cash Strapped Company Promise to Pay Car Payments for the Unemployed?

General Motors announced their Total Confidence program, which mirrors Ford’s program which makes your car payment if you lose your job. General Motors program is more conservative than Ford’s program, since it offers only nine months of payments up to $500 upon job loss. Ford’s program pays 12 months up to $700.

My question is the obvious. If General Motors is under such dire stress with so many doubts of their survival, how are they funding this program? Unemployment numbers are rising, and this seems like a dangerous plan to generate sells. Of course, Ford raised the stakes, but General Motors appears to be committing financial suicide. But are they?

Of course not! They are backed by the United States government who robs from you and me to pay for Peggy Joseph’s and other’s new car after they lose their jobs. Remember, my blog yesterday about Obama’s staging all of this to prevent calling it a bailout? There are still many billions of dollars being fed to GM and Chrysler under the table without the bailout stigma attached to them. Make no mistake, they are receiving more and more bailout money in order to please the UAW contingent. US taxpayers are paying for GM’s Total Confidence Program. I honestly would have a hard time ever buying another GM product.

Barney Frank has been promoted after the US Government’s hostile takeover of GM. Frank will now be in charge of the Lubrication Department at Government Motors. Frank has a solid resume experimenting with specialty lubes of all sorts and brands and specializes in lube jobs, so CEObama is confident the lube department will be in good hands.

MSNBC's Morning Joe Laughs at Glen Beck: MSNBC Really Laughs at Me and Other Americans

There have been many times in the past few months, when I dig deeper to discover the foundation of the country I love and was born in and compare it to the direction Obama leads us to, I find myself teary eyed like I have lost a friend, family member, or a dog. I understand why Glen Beck occasionally loses it. When I think of hour both my granfather's sacrificed their youth to fight for our freedom in Europe, there is a sense of pride that comes over me. When I think of the opportunities this country gives that are being taken away from us it creates great sadness.

There was a scene in American Carol in which George C. Patton played by Kelsey Grammer tells Michael Monroe, played by Chris Farley's brother Keven, what it means to be an American. I felt tears during that scene it what was a comedy attacking the left. I am damn proud to be an American. I hate seeing my country possibly coming to an end because our President and Congress no longer wish to play by the rules of the Constitution. We all should shed tears for that.

I hate MSNBC. They are a disgraceful network. They have no understanding what American Patriotism is about, and their ratings show how disgusted we are with the news department at NBC. These morons are obviously to dense to get it. There is a reason Fox is number one and MSNBC fails to draw viewers except to laugh at Keith Olbermann. They should be ashamed they laughed at Glen Beck. They laughed at many Americans when they laughed at him.

Do Millennial Obama Supporters Understand the Communist Tyranny Obama Begins to Show?

He peered out through his glasses sat snugly above his mustache to the small classroom at Strafford Junior High School. In a serious tone, Mr. Bill Jeffries asked, "People, do you know why Papa Smurf wears a red hat?" Some of the class smiled, some rolled their eyes, and some remained asleep. In seventh grade, the smurfs are a little above you, but he was about to make a brilliant comparison that most seventh graders would understand.

Clint Maples had a sarcastic wit about him. "Because he's a communist!" I know he said it jokingly or may be not, but Mr. Jeffries exclaimed at an even more exciting tone, "That's exactly right Mr. Maples. He's a communist." Mr. Jeffries went on to explain how the little smurf village resembled the vision that Karl Marx laid out. As an adult, I don't think I had a better teacher for the rest of my years at Strafford. Mr. Jeffries landed a job at Parkview High School the next year, which was a loss for Strafford.

I get the feeling from watching the General Motors drama play out, nobody taught the mind-numbing millennials (a term I use after reading Eric "Mancow" Muller's blog titled the same) the Papa Smurf version or the realistic version of socialism. In fact, I am willing to bet that college institutions are more likely to portray Sir Thomas More's (author of Utopia) version over that what history recorded with Josef Stalin.

Since More's Utopian vision is one full of peaceful images and not one of the totalitarian iron fist, do the words socialism and communism mean anything to the millennials? After all, once the wall fell in Eastern Europe, we thought the threat was gone. The USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in case any millennial reading this doesn't know), now Russia, was no longer a threat, and we defeated communism.

The millennials support Obama, without considering the redistribution of wealth, tells me that Karl Marx, Frederic Engel, Vladimir Lenin, Stalin, and the rest of the reds were either skimmed in the history books, or they were revised in history. Perhaps, a history professor teaches that Reagan was the aggressor for placing missiles in western Europe and dreaming of Star Wars (the Strategic Defense Initiative). I wouldn't be surprised.

These buzzwords don't scare the tar out of the millennials as they did my generation. Generation X faced Russian missiles ending our lives at a young age. The liberal media and the Russians believed that Reagan placed an unstable, cowboy trigger finger on the nuclear button. Generation X lived with the constant threat of nuclear war. It was on the news, they made movies like The Day After about it, and they discussed it in the classroom. We understood the extreme socialist policies of the USSR were about aggression, and that the freedoms we enjoyed weren't a part of life in the USSR. In the end, that crazy man (Reagan) managed to warm the Cold War and bring the Russians to the table with real plans to slow down the arms race. Reagan demanded the wall in eastern Europe to be torn down, even after his advisers from the State Department removed the text from his speech. He wasn't crazy. He was absolute in his resolve.

What's crazy is that it seems the millennials have no record of what life was like between the 1960s and the 1980s. They don't grasp the dangerous world Generation X grew up in is coming back. The bear is growling again, our enemies are developing weapons of mass destruction, and new alliances are forming to destroy the greatest free capitalistic society this planet has ever known. Our enemies use force, and they use green environmental policies that attack the wealth and the manufacturing base in our country with the goals to bring it to its knees. Christopher C. Horner cites redistribution of wealth through green policies will destroy our our free markets in his book The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming.

Most of millennials don't get it. They think Obama can give them free college, free money, and free health care. They support Obama for his promised entitlements while ignoring the power he gains. They fail to recognize the debt he creates and the new taxes everyone will pay. They fail to see our country will soon be bankrupt at this pace. This country's economy has been attacked by Obama and it might be the end of freedom as well as the start of a depression. Everyone forgets the economy was good during the Bush administration until the democrats took over Congress. Their policies now seem destructive and geared towards a radical change in political agenda. Obama firing a CEO is not capitalism, it communism. Yet some cheer because they weren't taught the tyranny that Mr. Jeffries taught me in the seventh grade.

As jobs become scarcer in Obama's overtaxed social utopia, the millennials will have to learn to survive outside the Hollister store and the Mall. Maybe then, they will recognize the errors of their ways, but will it be too late? Will the salivating and fainting over Obama have cost this country a price it will never be able to pay back? Capitalism is under attack, and communism is the new buzz. Unfortunately, the schools have sold their graduates short on what all of this means.

CEObama to Kill Hummer Today: The First of the SUV Casualties

Hummer was once the pride of GM’s SUV industry and a huge money maker for the new moniker Government Motors. Some dealers sold as many as 70 per month, but now, thanks to unproven environmental policies and minus a responsible energy policy to keep America truckin’, but now dealers are lucky to see a handful of customers looking for the mighty SUV. It looks like Dear Leader's first move as Government Motor's CEO will be to kill Hummer. Hummer sales plummeted as gas prices hit nearly $5 a gallon. The Hummer will die today putting more Americans out of work at the cost of an irresponsible and selfish American government.

It’s only a matter of time until Howie Long is looking for a new gig as the Avalanche pickup is scaled down to become the new Subaru Brat and the Chevy Silverado dies. Yup, change has come to the American auto industry. The question to you Obama supporters, especially the centrists, is this the change you wanted?

I Have a Masters Degree in Facebook: More Proof of the Fat and Stupid Theory

I have a theory. Based on the current education system, which I have outlined teaches seventh graders how to write stories of Humpty Dumpty rather than teach them the basic political philosophies that I learned in seventh grade (See Ozark Junior High). I believe the government produces stupid graduates void of critical thinking skills. The less questions people ask, the easier it is for people like Obama to pass his agenda why the mindless scream 'Yes We Can.' For the current generation called Millennials image kills substance. Obama's election victory was about image, and now the substance begins to show itself, the centrists ask what were we thinking.

Here's more proof that the fat and stupid theory exists and that it obviously goes beyond the United States. In the United Kingdom, a country slowly being ravaged by Islamic takeover and Sharia Law, has a University that offers a masters degree in Facebook, the social networking site. Birmingham City University offers the degree at a cost of over $6200. It teaches students how to use Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter for marketing purposes.

Are Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter part of the new marketing strategies. Yes, they are. I am currently researching their uses and how we can use them to promote our products at work; however, I think I would set a resume aside that claimed to have a masters in Facebook or social networking. I need employees that can think beyond the 140 character Tweet. Perhaps they should offer a three-hour class, but a degree just seems like a waste of money to me.

Student Jamie Waterman said, "It's of no interest to me whatsoever. Virtually all of the content of this course is so basic it can be self-taught."

I am with Waterman on this. There are plenty of sources on the Internet for any marketing team to discover the usefulness of these tools. I think many of these students would be wise taking economic classes. We are going to need some good people to reverse the damage of the Obama administration and the Democrat's wild spending spree that looks to double the national debt and devalue currency everywhere.

Target Washington DC: Baitullah Mehsud Promises Attack on Capital

The Taliban is preparing to attack Washington DC. Baitullah Mehsud admitted the Pakistani Taliban prepares to attack our nation's capital. "Soon we will launch an attack in Washington that will amaze everyone in the world," Mehsud told The Associated Press by phone. Mehsud has claimed responsibility for a number of terrorist attacks in recent weeks including an attack on a police academy and suicide bombs killing Pakistani soldiers.

As of right now, I am not sure a terrorist attack on Washington really bothers me like 9/11 did, as long as innocent lives aren't taken. I don't consider the politicians innocents in this case. The way I look at it, Washington is already under an attack that started on January 20, 2009 and the victims are philosophies and documents I hold dear. How could I be sad at this threat considering the current destruction going on in Washington. Currently some of the most dangerous domestic terrorist in the history of this country are leading this nation down a path a majority of Americans don't want. Their arrogance and greed for power forces them to forget for the people, of the people, by the people. When I see Obama firing the CEO of GM, there is obviously an assault taking place on the Constitution. When I see Barney Frank begin a witch hunt on AIG employees because of a crisis he is partially responsible for, it's hard to tell the difference between Democrats, Al Qaida, and the Taliban.

Normally, I would write an anti terrorism rant with such a threat, but I don't know which group of terrorists are worse. Personally, I think Obama and a select group of Democrats are worse--Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid included. They are guerrilla terrorist--wolves in sheep clothing. Maybe that's the truth behind Governor Jay Nixon and his Modern Militia Movement Report. The report and other similar activities may be a cover to get your attention from what's really going on as well as redefining terrorists while allowing the real real terrorists to destroy the work of our forefathers.

One Man, Many Taxes, 365 Days Day 89

I am baffled by what I see taking place in my country. I never thought I would see the day where a sitting President basically fires a CEO of a major corporation. Nobody is talking impeachment. Why? Obama continues to thrash the Constitution, and everybody sits back and waits for the next tea party to exclaim they are mad. Really? What are you going to do besides throw some tea in the drink? We are 69 days into the Obama administration, and our country is seeing radical changes which if we don't act, we may never find our way out of. To think, we haven't seen any Obama tax increases yet, but they are coming. They will paralyze you to become further dependent on the government. It's a crime to be an individual in Barack's America. It's about the collective. I refuse to live under Obama's socialist hammer and sickle.

There were plenty of warnings during the election from Obama's radical friends like Bill Ayers, Obama's radical influences like Saul Alinsky, and Obama's Communist mentor Frank Marshall Davis. So many chose to tune these things out and screamed Yes We Can above them. You are going to get your 'we' but it will be far away from Obama the tyrant. I have a new slogan you may want to consider before your liberty and freedom is consumed by Obama's Marxist beliefs.

In the immortal words of Patrick Henry, "give me liberty or give me death." I have lost my patience watching Obama basically take over GM today. It's time each American starts standing up for what the believe in. I know a majority of Americans don't believe in socialism, nor do they want to live under it. Once Obama's taxes kick in, it may be too late as your money will be consumed providing you with less freedom and movement.

I Wonder if Nancy Pelosi Understands the Fear a Washington County, Wisconsin Family Faced Before they Died on Their way to Church

Earlier this month, Nancy Pelosi stated it was unAmerican to kick in the door in the middle of the night to arrest illegal aliens. After looking over the most massive spending increases in American history knowing the children would pay for their arrogance, she cited it wasn't right to strike fear into children by raiding houses in the middle of the night. You have to ask, which children does Pelosi care more about, American children or children of illegals?

I can't help but recall Pelosi's ignorance as I discovered a Wisconsin family on their way to church yesterday were killed by an illegal alien driving a landscaping truck in Washington county. Karl Ziebart and two children, Luke 9 and a 12-year-old girl from another family were killed when they swerved to miss a flatbed truck driven by two illegals. Ziebart's wife, Denise, was in critical condition and needed surgery after the wreck.

Guess what, the Washington County Sheriff's office is protecting the identity of the two men. In fact, I wouldn't even know they were illegals if I hadn't listened to Mark Belling on 1130 WISN Milwaukee today. The newspaper report had this little paragraph to describe the men.

The truck's driver and his two passengers - ages 30 and 31, both of Milwaukee - were detained on suspicion of being in the country illegally, according to the Sheriff's Department. They are in custody at the Washington County Jail.

I send my sympathy to the family. I hate to politicize this, but this continues to happen over and over again. How much is enough? How many Americans must die because Pelosi and the Democrats want to pander to illegal aliens in hopes to remain in power and build another minority base to offer welfare benefits to while making sure they advance little in order to keep them dependent on the government? Far too many American families share this similar story, and I have had enough. Justice would be Pelosi's car facing these cicumstances--not a hard working American family.

"Getting Through Tough Economic Times": Obama Administration Creates Web Site to Help Americans Deal with Sadness Over Economy

I am tired of weak Americans who allow the government to continue to get away with more than they are allowed by the Constitution. The American government has done a very good job of producing ignorant Americans through the public school systems who are clueless to the limits of government. The government has taught them to be in touch with their feelings, and that they should hurt with their political correctness that plagues our school systems through philosophies like a kid shouldn't have to face the humiliation of getting a bad grade. Let's do away with failing grades and everyone deserves to pass. This poison that has filtrated and become mainstream in our society now has people looking to the government's shoulder to wipe a crying eye distressed by the economy.

As of midnight tonight, another pathos-based government Web site becomes available for weak Americans to look to the government for emotional help. "Getting Through Tough Economic Times" is set up so people can identify health concerns possibly caused by the current economy. Dear lord! If we were as big of pansies in the 1930s as we are today, this country would have been dead nearly 80 years ago.

This all goes back to my belief that the government wants to keep you fat and stupid. The fatter and stupider you are, the easier it is for them to let's say, take over GM during the weekend and demand the CEO to step down. Have we really become such wimps we can't even hurt a little bit without looking to Obama for answers? I don't even know if I want to be a part of whatever the current definition of being an American is. We sound more pathetic by the day!

The Drudge Report cites the site will allow the feds to warn of depression, suicidal thinking and other serious mental illnesses. It will raise warning flags for: Persistent sadness/crying; Excessive anxiety; Lack of sleep/constant fatigue; Excessive irritability/anger.

I think the excessive irritability and anger is directed towards conservatives who want their country back, although I can't prove it yet without looking at the site. Remember, Governor Jay Nixon released a report last month that attacked conservatives, so I am now on the alert for these things. The URL for the site is: http://www.samhsa.gov/economy. Beware of falling into a brainwashing trance if you visit it early this morning after it goes live. Obama obviously has a hypnotic effect on people. Yes we can. Yes we can.

Does Obama Know More About the Communist Manifesto or the Constitution?: Two Events Today Show Him Going in the Opposite Direction of Thomas Jefferson

Obama claims he taught Constitutional Law. I am starting to wonder if the students who studied under Obama and held the classic Jeffersonian understanding of the Federalist Papers failed the class. Obviously, a federalist had no business in a constitutional class taught by Obama.

Obama came just short of demonstrating what a hostile corporate takeover looks like under his Marxist beliefs. He came short, because he put on a short one-act play creating the illusion GM is still a private company. Anyone with just a little common sense should now realize the government runs General Motors. Call it what it really is, Government Motors. The President of the United States forced a CEO out of his position, and nowhere in the Constitution did the forefathers provide such power. In fact, they would have revolted against such tyranny. As if I woke up in a bad nightmare, our government did just that forcing Rick Wagoner out of GM. I would defend Wagoner, but obviously he went down without a fight. There's nothing to defend with his lack of courage. What happened to true American patriotism? Surely we haven't bought into the Joe Biden version--grow the government bigger, bend over, and pay the collector. Wagoner betrayed his capitalist and our political and economic philosophies when he stepped down rather than lift his middle finger to Obama.

Years from now, we may look at the one single event that drove American capitalism to its death, and Rick Wagoner will be known as the coward--void of the spirit that made him millions and provided him the American dream. Obama is now a tyrant. With each win, he grows more powerful because the power instantly goes to Obama's head. Now that HR1388 will be the law of the land, Obama will form his civilian military force he promised during the election and build more power. No, I can't blame all of this on Wagoner, but he had the opportunity to stand up to Obama and challenge his power, and he failed. Surely, Wagoner knew in the back of his head, Obama won't let the union's love for him die by killing off GM.




Of course, there is the other issue which continues to develop that Obama has obviously forgotten which Jefferson and the other forefathers delegated to the executive branch. He is to provide a common defense for the United States and perform the duties of Commander and Chief.

North Korea continues to sabre rattle. After numerous warnings, the North Koreans look like they will launch what may be an intercontinental ballistic missile. The North Koreans placed the rocket, which they claim is a vehicle to place a satellite in orbit, on the launching pad despite the pathetic warnings of the Obama administration. They knew Obama wouldn't carry out any actions to prevent them from testing the missile. Now the Obama administration has basically given permission to the North Koreans to fire the missile since they admitted there was nothing they could do. This is a far different tone than last week.

In fact, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said there was nothing we could do about it. Why for weeks did we threaten them only to back down and allow the missile to be tested? Obama isn't carrying out his Constitutional duties for defense. Just last week Admiral Timothy Keating, commander of U.S. forces in the Pacific, said the U.S. is "fully prepared" to shoot down the missile. The sudden shift in policy in the Obama administration is concerning. It also shows weakness within his administration similar to Jimmy Carter's in the 1970s.

Just like he wants to bring dangerous GITMO detainees to the Unites States, provide them tax dollars for assistance to get started, and let them live here despite their hate towards the United States, Obama doesn't take our defense seriously. Time and again, we see Obama could care less about this country as we have known it.

Obama took an oath just over two months ago to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. He is personally destroying it. It's time to take this country back through whatever means to insure freedom and liberty for the children and grandchildren of this country. If it means, impeachment based on Obama's hostile takeover of GM, then so be it. Obama's power is out of control, and well beyond what is allotted to him. If it means organizing tea parties to form the second American Revolution, the let's do it. I refuse to live under a sickle and hammer because some demagogue was elected President by lying to the good people of this country about his philosophies and beliefs. Obama is a communist. This takeover of GM is a page out of the Communist Manifesto. How much longer are we going to let him destroy our country?

Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder's Press Release on the Modern Militia Movement Report (From the Springfield News-Leader Voices 3/30/09)

On March 20, reporters broke the astonishing news that a report from the Missouri Department of Public Safety was distributed to law enforcement across our state that depicted Christians, anti-abortionists, advocates for protecting our borders and supporters of certain political candidates as potential "threats" to public safety.

The report was developed by the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) and was entitled, "The Modern Militia Movement."

By title alone, the imagination conjures up images of commando renegades on remote outposts in secluded mountainous terrain. However, while this "Modern Militia" report did touch on such radical ideologies, the groups purported to be "threats" were supporters of such political candidates as Bob Barr and Ron Paul.

There are certainly individual extremists in many religious and political groups (both conservative and liberal), but Gov. Jay Nixon and Director of Public Safety John Britt have created a dangerous precedent of profiling lawful citizens as threats to public safety simply based on their political or religious beliefs.

On Tuesday, Gov. Nixon and Director Britt said they stood by the content of the report, while both said they hadn't read it. Then, on Wednesday, Col. Jim Keathley of the Missouri State Highway Patrol issued a statement saying the review process for future MIAC memos would be changed.

Shame on Gov. Nixon and Director Britt for making a noble public servant and iconic law enforcement leader like my friend Colonel Keathley take the fall for their bureaucratic and political failures.

Colonel Keathley, the men and women of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and law enforcement across this state put their lives on the line each and every day to keep our communities safe. We should honor these everyday heroes for their sacrifices and never allow them to be used in a political ploy.

By Thursday, as conservatives across this state made their voices heard, Gov. Nixon decided to pass the blame to the previous administration. This is unacceptable.

I am calling for Gov. Nixon to place Director Britt on administrative leave pending a full investigation and accounting of acts of profiling under his supervision at MIAC.

All Missourians should rest assured that we are protected by the freedoms of our constitution and should never have to fear being monitored by their government based upon a person's race, place of birth, political beliefs or their spiritual convictions. Unfortunately, that confidence was shaken by the governor. Gov. Nixon remains ultimately responsible for his administration. Gov. Nixon should fully answer and apologize for what has been allowed to occur on his watch.

Former Governor Matt Blunt Fires Back at Disgraceful Governor Jay Nixon's Charges Over MIAC Modern Militia Movement Report

Former Governor Matt Blunt responded today after Governor Jay Nixon accused him of being responsible for the Modern Militia Movement Report.

"I certainly do not plan on responding to every false charge or false news report," the former Governor began, "but recent assertions regarding the offensive MIAC report warrants a response."

"Let me be clear about the recent, offensive MIAC report that profiled Missourians that hold conservative political views," Blunt said, in a statement e-mailed by spokesperson Rich Chrismer. "While I did create the Missouri Information Analysis Center to act as a fusion center to gather and disseminate tactical intelligence about specific crimes, I did not create the MIAC to profile citizens based upon political views - liberal or conservative. To my knowledge MIAC never issued anything similar to the recent report while I was governor. If they had, I would not have defended it. I would have taken corrective action immediately and certainly held those responsible, accountable for their actions," Blunt added.

"The assertion that I am somehow responsible for an offensive report that was issued more than a month after I left office and that profiles conservatives is so absurd that one would not think it requires a response from me, but evidently it does," Blunt enclosed.

Obama's Auto Bailout, Act II: It's No Longer Called a Bailout

I am a little suspicious about CEObama’s theater today in Washington. Yeah, he was tough on GM’s CEO and the masses probably cheer. They are ignorant to what’s going on or even who Rick Wagoner is. He started off at the bottom and put hours in to work his way to the top. Of course you will never hear about that. Obama and the media want to portray him as another undeserving, overpaid CEO.

CEObama told both GM and Chrysler no deal on their current plans they presented. Many Americans believe Obama put an end to endless bailouts today, of course that’s what Obama wants them to think. There are still billions of taxpayer dollars pumped into these companies to keep them breathing while they go off and reinvent themselves to Obama’s liking. Yes we can, yells the masses. Yes we can teach these CEOs a lesson. The only lesson taught today wasn’t about economic stability. The lesson taught today is one of manufacturing.

You see, GM and Chrysler still want to produce cars people want to drive. They want their big HEMIs and not a couple of squirrels under the hood. Until both these manufacturers build tiny, unsafe boxes, they will continue to be sent back to Detroit to draft another plan, even though Obama uses tough language. This is all a show to further demonize capitalism.

Obama won’t risk upsetting the UAW, no matter how hard he talks. He has to continue the class envy rhetoric, and Wagoner is a victim of that. He didn’t want to play by Obama’s rules, although he made concessions. Now Obama, whose power has obviously gone to his head, demands Wagoner to step down. I have searched the Constitution all day long, and I can’t find anywhere in Article II where the President has the power to fire a CEO. This is theater at its best, while also clearly a violation of the Constitution. Let’s not forget the most basic fact. Obama successfully pulled off another lie today. They will never label the remaining money as bailouts. The word bailout is unpopular and continues to send Obama’s numbers crashing. Obama loves word games, and this is nothing more than another Obama word game as billions are slipped into the hands of GM and Chrysler as they surrender power.

The New GM with Warranties Backed by the Federal Government: Government Motor's CEObama Announces Health Care Plan for Cars

Today, Obama promised General Motors owners with valid warranties the United States government will stand behind those warranties while GM goes back to the drawing board to come up with a new plan with Obama’s thugs at the helm.

I can’t help but assume this will give us a good peak at how the Obama health care plan operates. In a way, Obama’s comments set up nationalized health care for cars, well, a specific brand of cars, the newly formed Government Motors or GM for short. As the interior of your Chevy Cobalt warps in the sun and the trim comes unglued, a government thug (probably a member of the UAW who will force you to vote for a union in your place of employment to receive service) will ration the health care for your car. They will look up the Kelly Blue Book value and present a limited plan of what they will be willing to do to fix your problem.

Your genuine GM (Government Motors) parts will come out of a subsidized government junk yard or to the lowest bidder. Your new Chevy just became a certified government jalopy. Yes, this will be the omen to the coming Obama nationalized health care plan. This is change you can believe in, the same change Russia saw in 1917. There’s a reason we know so little about the Russian auto industry.

New Tobacco Taxes Set to Kill Another Industry and Put More Americans Out of Work

On Wednesday, the government’s new taxes on tobacco take effect. I am not a smoker, but I think these taxes are unfair and will put Americans out of work. While the average tax of manufactured cigarettes probably won’t alarm you, pipe smokers and roll-your-own smokers will take the largest hit—so large it may kill those industries. The new tax structure for tobacco is as follows:

• Cigarette taxes will increase from .39 a pack to $1.01 per pack.
• The new cigarette taxes will add $8.10 on a carton.
• A bag of loose tobacco for pipe smokers and roll-your-own smokers will increase from $1.10 per pound to $24.78 per pound.
• New York State is also proposing a 4% increase on tobacco products.

I am not a smoker, like I said earlier, but there are many farmers in the Carolinas and employees who process and manufacture tobacco products that will take the hit when they lose their jobs and livelihood from this tax increase. Watch the unemployment numbers go up in these states after these taxes are imposed.

What will the taxes fund? More socialism! They are raising the taxes to fund more children’s health care programs. It’s always for the children isn’t it?

You marijuana smokers that sent your legalization questions to Obama last week in hopes the government legalizes marijuana and justify legalization through potential tax revenue for the federal government, look at the loose tobacco tax and tell me that doesn’t make you reconsider your wishes. It would be cheaper for you to continue down the road you are on or move to Amsterdam rather than let the United States government get further involved.

Ted Turner Predicts Idiocracy and Cannibalism if Global Warming Continues: Why Don't Global Warming Advocates Just Commit Suicide?

Ted Turner recently stumbled through an interview where he claimed society would fall apart and man would resort to cannibalism because of global warming. That's right, as it snowed in spring in many parts of the nation the nation, and a frozen river has caused massive flooding in North Dakota, Turner continues the crazy claims of global warming. His views present a Mike Judge like Idiocracy view of the world ten, not that's 30 to 40 years from now. (Notice how he quickly moves from ten. He's likely to be alive in ten years, so it's safer to quickly correct himself.) His view of Idiocracy includes cannibalism.

I have a question for these alarmist like Ted Turner. If they are so concerned about the danger of the global population, why don't they take the first step and just end their lives? Oh, that's right, they expect everyone else to bow down before their wisdom, and they are far too important to give up their own lives for the benefit of mankind. They would rather see the genocide of people like me.

Six years ago I wrote a book called Uncle Sam's Plantation. I wrote the book to tell my own story of what I saw living inside the welfare state and my own transformation out of it. I said in that book that indeed, there are two Americas -- a poor America on socialism and a wealthy America on capitalism.

I talked about government programs like Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Job Opportunities and Basic Skills Training (JOBS), Emergency Assistance to Needy Families with Children (EANF), Section 8 Housing, and Food Stamps. A vast sea of perhaps well-intentioned government programs, all initially set into motion in the 1960s, that were going to lift the nation's poor out of poverty.

A benevolent Uncle Sam welcomed mostly poor black Americans onto the government plantation. Those who accepted the invitation switched mindsets from "How do I take care of myself?" to "What do I have to do to stay on the plantation?" Instead of solving economic problems, government welfare socialism created monstrous moral and spiritual problems -- the kind of problems that are inevitable when individuals turn responsibility for their lives over to others.

The legacy of American socialism is our blighted inner cities, dysfunctional inner city schools, and broken black families. Through God's grace, I found my way out. It was then that I understood what freedom meant and how great this country is.

I had the privilege of working on welfare reform in 1996, passed by a Republican Congress and signed (by) 50 percent. I thought we were on the road to moving socialism out of our poor black communities and replacing it with wealth-producing American capitalism. But, incredibly, we are going in the opposite direction. Instead of poor America on socialism becoming more like rich America on capitalism, rich America on capitalism is becoming like poor America on socialism.

Uncle Sam has welcomed our banks onto the plantation and they have said, "Thank you, Suh." Now, instead of thinking about what creative things need to be done to serve customers, they are thinking about what they have to tell “Massah” in order to get their cash.

There is some kind of irony that this is all happening under our first black president on the 200th anniversary of the birthday of Abraham Lincoln. Worse, socialism seems to be the element of our new young president. And maybe even more troubling, our corporate executives seem happy to move onto the plantation.

In an op-ed on the opinion page of the Washington Post, Mr. Obama is clear that the goal of his trillion dollar spending plan is much more than short term economic stimulus: "This plan is more than a prescription for short-term spending -- it's a strategy for America 's long-term growth and opportunity in areas such as renewable energy, healthcare, and education."

Perhaps more incredibly, Obama seems to think that government taking over an economy is a new idea. Or that massive growth in government can take place "with unprecedented transparency and accountability." Yes sir, we heard it from Jimmy Carter when he created the Department of Energy, the Synfuels Corporation, and the Department of Education. Or how about the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 -- The War on Poverty -- which President Johnson said "...does not merely expand old programs or improve what is already being done. It charts a new course. It strikes at the causes, not just the consequences of poverty."

Trillions of dollars later, black poverty is the same. But black families are not, with triple the incidence of single-parent homes and out-of-wedlock births.

It's not complicated. Americans can accept Barack Obama's invitation to move onto the plantation. Or they can choose personal responsibility and freedom.Does anyone really need to think about what the choice should be?

Add Hire More Muslims to the I Think Obama is a Muslim Post: Religious Affirmative Action

A couple of weeks ago, I looked at the pro-Islamic policies of Obama. From rebuilding Gaza to Palestinian scholarships, Obama has more love for those who hate us over our friends of decades. Now Obama looks to hire more Muslims in the White House. We will soon have affirmative action based on religion.

Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) provided Obama with a list of the 45 most qualified Ivy League Islamic graduates, Fortune 500 employees, and public servants. Remember, Minnesota is pushing Sharia law in their state's lending practices. Obama is considering the list in hopes to bring more Muslims to public service. Let's not hire for most qualified or what is in the best interest our our country's sovereignty, but let's hire based on religion and color. I wonder how many new hires will have ties to Al Qaida.

"It was mostly under the radar," J. Saleh Williams said. "We thought it would put [President Obama] in a precarious position. We didn't know how closely he wanted to appear to be working with the Muslim American community."

GM and Chrysler Will Not Receive More Bailout Money: Obama Fires Wagoner and then Says No

In an interesting twist, after Obama fired a CEO (asked him to step down), Dear Leader says there will be no additional bailout money for General Motors or Chrysler. Neither company submitted viable plans to Obama's approval.

I wonder what would be a viable plan that would receive Obama's approval. Did either company give up enough of the sovereignty so Barney Frank can slobber all over the General Motors podium telling their upper and middle management how things will be done?

Obama said he gave each automaker one last chance to submit a plan. Neither pleased Washington enough. This is an interesting play on Obama's part. For the past two months, the unions have been running commercials strongly supporting Obama, and now he looks away from them by turning two UAW hot spots down for additional help.

If I had my bet, Obama's real intentions are to run these companies down to force a liquidation. At that time the government buys the liquidated assets and we then have a fully nationalized auto industry. The government can save billions if they wait.

Hi-Point 9mm Carbine: Worth the Trade

I traded for a Hi-Point 9mm carbine this weekend, and I am very pleased with my new rifle. The 9 mm carbine rifle has a military appearance, a nice balance to it when you hold it, sights similar to my Army M-16 , and very accurate once I got it sighted in.

One of the attractive reasons to buy a Hi-Point fire arm is price. The rifle sells new for $189, and according to Gun Tests Magazine scores high. They also mention many law enforcement offices use the rifles as an alternative to the more expensive AR-15.

I shot fifty rounds from my new rifle yesterday. It's got a little more recoil than they advertise, but not enough to be sore after 50 rounds. The carbine uses a 9mm Luger round.

Some claim the firearm is ugly, but I think it has cool look to it. You can purchase custom accessories if to give it a totally different look. It has a military assault rifle look to it. It was developed in 1994 in hopes to fill a niche after the Federal Assault Weapons Ban took effect. I am very happy with my purchase.

Al Gore Celebrates Earth Hour Like I Celebrated Earth Hour: Lights On & TVs On

When are envivronmentalist going to finally accept the truth about Al Gore? He is a lying, hypocritical man who is only interested in one type of green, the green of money he makes from giving pseudo environmental speeches, scaring you with a movie, and robbing you of money he receives as he sells carbon credits.

What was Gore doing during Earth Hour? His 9000-square-foot mansion was lit up. Granted not as lit up as it usually is, but there were clearly a lot of lights on. Gore is becoming the Jesse Jackson of environmentalism. He runs where the cameras are, but doesn't give a care when the cameras are turned off. He should be arrested for fraud, as any other American would be for the lies he spews.

For if we fail or falter, there'll be no place for the world's oppressed to flee to. This is not a role we sought. We preach no manifest destiny. But like Americans who brought a new nation into the world 200 years ago, history has asked much of us in our time. Much we've already given, much more we must be prepared to give.

President Obama or CEObama?

Last night I went to bed in amazement. Barack Hussein Obama, who has never run any type of business in his life, asked General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner to step down--and Wagoner does it. Obama, who every time he asked if he is overreaching, cites he taught Constitutional law is now now making policy for the internal workings of the American auto industry. What qualifies Obama to do this? It's not the Constitution. Does his experience as a community organizer in Chicago give him the experience he needs to run a country and the American automobile industry? I don't think it's experience at all. I think it's arrogance.

GM issued a statement, "We are anticipating an announcement soon from the Administration regarding the restructuring of the U.S. auto industry. We continue to work closely with members of the Task Force and it would not be appropriate for us to speculate on the content of any announcement."

Notice how carefully they approach this. Don't want to upset the new bully in town!

Any doubt the relationship between government and American corporation is changing should be set aside now. Not only do we have Congressman Barney Frank citing he should have a say in the way AIG is run, we have Dear Leader running GM. Will Obama choose Wagoner's successor? Will the successor have tax issues? One thing is for sure, if he chooses a Timothy Geithner like figure, we can kiss GM goodbye. It probably doesn't really matter anyway. The way Obama is spending, we are on the ten-year plan to destruction anyway.

By the way, if Obama ever asked me to resign, I'd probably let my fingers do the talking. Either Wagoner is a wuss, or maybe the Obama administration had dug up something ugly about him. Something stinks in GM land, and this gives me further reason not to buy a GM product.

One Man, Many Taxes, 365 Days: Day 87 & 88

Well, for the first time this year I missed a day of counting up my taxes. It wasn't my fault though. My computer automatically downloaded Windows Vista Service Pack 1, and I agreed to install it. When I woke up, all I had was the blue screen of death. I have spent much of today reloading my computer. What a pain! Of course, I didn't have everything backed up.

So since we are talking about computers, let's talk about Barack Obama's latest infringement on privacy. Remember when George W. Bush received flack about listening in on phone calls of suspected terrorist, well this next little bit will show Bush to be a saint when it comes to privacy. Obama is negotiating the ACTA Agreement. Here's how it works:

Let's say you book a flight. As you check into the airport and go through the thug station called Homeland Security, the government thugs that are already pushing the most attractive women aside to get some cheap kicks off of during a pat down, will now be allowed to go through your electronics including MP3 players, laptop computers, and cell phones looking for illegally downloaded files like music and movies.

This isn't just in the United States. Obama is working with leaders around the world to take away a little bit more of your privacy. You think the lines are long at the airport now, you haven't seen anything yet. The airport's holding facilities will be full. The Obama police state is coming. I can't imagine what his tax laws will consist of. I would imagine the community service police will report those who don't pay their fair share for government rewards.

Biden's Daughter Powders Her Nose: Joe Biden's Not So Tough on the War on Drugs in His House

In the age of cell phones and other micro-sized video cameras, you should choose carefully who you break the law with. Just ask Michael Phelps. Apparently now, there is a video of Joe Biden's daughter doing a lines of coke.

What appears to be Ashley Biden snorting two lines of cocaine, and then complains there isn't enough coke for her as she yells, "what the f*(#." Then she starts talking about her dad.

The ironic thing is dad, Vice President gaffe machine Joe Biden coined the term 'drug czar' and has been tough on the war on drugs, except of course in his own house. There is definitely a pattern with Biden. He always pushes his policies on other people, while his house is obviously above his policies. Ashley Biden, who by no surprise is a social worker (from my experience with social workers--they hope to save the world while running from their huge problems), is also pictured with her ex boyfriend in the video.

The video was taken earlier this month, so we need to ask was any stimulus or bailout money diverted towards Ashley Biden or anyone with social ties to Ms. Biden which may have paid for Biden's coke binge. We already know from last week, that civil rights activists have stood up against a plan for people who receive government money to undergo drug testing. We also know the secretary of state, Bill's wife, has attacked gun owners for the drug violence in Mexico. Will she reconsider her statements and personally point her finger at Ashley Biden for the violence, or will she stand firm that the violence is because of guns. Just a couple things to think about.

Good News About Mark Levin's New Book from Amazon.Com

I just got confirmation from Amazon for the delivery date for Mark Levin's new book. I ordered it last week, and they were sold out. I won't be getting my book until April 10. This may seem like bad news, but considering the excitement for the subject matter, I think this is very good news. Conservatism is alive and well in 2009. Let this be a reminder to Obama, our country didn't move to the left. He never presented the views and the direction he is on during the election except for when he slipped, like his conversation with Joe the Plumber.

I can't wait to get my book. It's going to be worth the wait.

Is an Assault Weapons Ban Unconstitutional

The 1994 Assault Weapons Ban took away the right to purchase rifles designed for warfare with modification to make them legal to sell. One example would be the M-16 and the AR-15. The M-16 is a military rifle issued in 1967 to US troops. It features a flash suppressor and either a fully automatic version or a three-round burst (A1 and A2), and since I served has seen changes. The AR-15 doesn't have these features, although you can find some with the flash suppressor. It's basically a semi-automatic rifle, no different than semi-automatic rifles used for hunting except in appearance. In fact, one of the silly features that defines it differently as an assualt rifle, is its pistol grip, which one of my rifles has.

Many shooters like the AR-15 because of the recoil spring in the butt of the rifle which absorbs the kick of the rifle when it's shot. It's a great rifle for sporting purposes. Like all rifles and guns, the people who buy an AR-15 aren't buying them to go a shooting spree. There is clearly an enjoyment in the sport, and people enjoy shooting the AR-15. I would love to have one, but current threats in Congress and in the Obama cabinet have once again pushed the cost of these rifles upwards in costs.

I have spent this weekend considering the meaning of the Second Amendment. It's under attack everywhere I look, including in my state of Missouri where Governor Jay Nixon issued the Modern Militia Movement Report. Within time, the government will once again work on passing another assault weapons ban. It seems to be a priority of Attorney General Eric Holder.

I argue any type of ban on any rifle, shotgun, or hand gun seems unconstitutional. Consider the reason why the Second Amendment is in place. It states a well-regulated militia is necessary for a free people. This is to protect a free people from an oppressive federal government. Obviously, our military has grown to something that forefathers never imagined, but to remove the right to bear these specific arms gives an oppressive government even more of a Goliath complex over its people. If it's the responsibility of a free people to take arms up against an oppressive force that robs them of their natural rights, than an assault weapons ban puts these people even at a greater disadvantage to stand up and fight for their rights. Surely our forefathers wouldn't expect us to fight oppression with a 22 would they?

Hillary's Mexico Trip, Welfare Drug Users, and Law Abiding Second Amendment Advocates

I found a lot of irony in many of the news stories last week. Let's start with Bill's wife's trip to Mexico where she addressed the violence in Mexico and placed blame on the United States. In fact, she went as far as saying the United States is responsible for the security of Mexico as she blamed Americans who get high which creates the drug trade from Mexico and the exchange of firearms for the drugs. She clearly made the case to attack the Second Amendment, event though there is obvious proof the firearms aren't coming from the United States, but from Mexico's military and other sources.

The above picture (AP) shows a collection of confiscated weapons from Mexican violence surrounding the drug trade. Notice the grenades, fully automatic rifles, and rocket launchers. These aren't coming from American gun stores or Army surplus stores. Bill's wife misrepresents the truth to claim there's another problem with the Second Amendment.

Another story that headlined newspapers this week showed the efforts of eight states to drug test welfare recipients. If recipients failed drug tests they would be removed from the welfare roles. Guess which story received more criticism? I know I don't have to tell you.

While Bill's wife, the current Secretary of State, is in Mexico blaming the United States for its drug use that causes violence in Mexico, civil liberties groups were complaining about eight states that are moving to enforce drug laws in the United States.

If we are serious about lowing the drug use in this country, why is it coming at the expense of Second Amendment advocates? Shouldn't it come at the cost of those who break the law, buy the drugs, and use the drugs, especially when it's with taxpayer dollars. It seems to me the misuse of taxpayer dollars offended a lot of Senators and Representatives in Congress the week before when it involved capitalism. For some reason, those same people aren't upset by welfare recipients using taxpayers dollars to buy their drugs.

Militias are a Constitutional Responsibility of the People: Governor Jay Nixon's Efforts to Redefine Militia is Disgraceful

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The word militia has been under attack in the state of Missouri after Governor Jay Nixon attacked the concept of militia in the Modern Militia Movement Report. The government has an interest in redefining militia to defeat the Second Amendment. They want to label domestic terrorist like The Cross, The Sword, and the Arm of the Lord and Timothy McVeigh and militia members, when in fact they are not what our forefathers considered militias. The MAIC report villainizes the word militia. It makes it sound as only crazy, hateful people subscribe to militia philosophies. The report went even further to attach third parties, Christianity, pro-life causes, state sovereignty, and a strong belief of the Constitution and the Federalist Papers as stereotypical behavior of militia members.

I wonder if Governor Nixon could tell me what Christian principle did McVeigh carry out the bombing of the Oklahoma Federal Building to? My religion doesn't tell us to bomb buildings, kill innocent life, or attack the government. In fact, it says give to Caesar what is Caesars, referring to taxes. Why would Governor Nixon and Missouri officials go as far as connecting these philosophies with radical domestic terrorists? The answer is simple, these philosophies keep individuals strong with the beliefs of freedom and liberty prescribed in our Constitution, and currently our government looks away from those beliefs. I can go back and cite this isn't just the Obama administration. George Bush admitted to walking away from some of these beliefs in his final days in office. Remember, it was Bush who signed the Veterans Disarmament Act.

A free people who hold the truths in the Declaration of Independence to be self-evident and understand the Federalist Papers and how the led to our Constitution will create resistance to major changes in political philosophies of the United States. If you change the language to turn the word militia to me domestic terrorist, you defeat the Second Amendment.

Let's look back in our history at the first Constitutional Convention. The original Constitution didn't provide the people with rights against an oppressive government, and many of the forefathers decided against ratifying the original document. It was only after the Bill of Rights was added that it was ratified. Those Bill of Rights are protections and responsibilities of a free people. Read the amendments:

1. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
   
   The report attacks aspects of the First Amendment, including flying flags, pro-life stance, support of political candidates, and Christianity.
   
2. A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
   
   Once again, we see our forefathers wisdom. In order to protect a free people from an oppressive government (think of our government today), it your responsibility to bear arms and form a militia to protect your rights to freedom and liberty. Without the right to bear arms, the oppressive government doesn't fear the peoples whose rights they infringe upon.)
   
3. No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
   
4. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
   
5. No person shall be held to answer for any capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
   
6. In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district where in the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.
   
7. In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.
   
8. Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
   
9. The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
   
10. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
    
    The MAIA report attacks those who stand for states' rights. Yet, our Bill of Rights gives the states sovereignty. How else can you look at the Modern Movement Militia Report as anything but an attack on the Bill of Rights?

I pay reverence to each of these Amendments. The most important of all ten is the Second Amendment. Without the Second Amendment, the other nine are just words without anything backing them--anything being force. They infringe upon the Second Amendment and they will take away the other nine--of course, in some ways they already have. Remember the story about Reverend Walter B Hoye who faces jail time for practicing the First Amendment in front of an abortion clinic?

Joe Biden likes to talk about patriotism and how it relates to people paying their fair share of taxes. Fair share in Biden's case is more than 50% of your income. Everywhere you look, you have politicians redefining American ideas for their political gain. I refuse to allow these play on words to go overlooked. Governor Nixon, who is running from the report, is guilty as all the rest of them of taking an American idea and demonizing it. He doesn't deserve a pass on this one, nor will he get it.

My Second Amendment Right Was Once Confiscated From Me: Never Again

The story I am about to tell is one I am not necessarily proud of. In some ways, it was out of my control. In other ways, I made bad decisions. This is a love story which had eye opening consequences for myself. I learned the hard way how easily the government can confiscate your arms.

The summer of 2002 started off as bad as any summer could start. Six months before, I had gone to work for a dot.com start up in Washington D.C. I was skeptical about the company and their mission, but a friend from California insisted he had a good feeling about it and asked me to meet the sales manager. I did, and I was impressed. I took the job. They wined us and dined us every night. The second night we were in D.C. I found my new friends and myself sitting in a luxury corporate box watching Michael Jordan and the Washington Wizards play the Allen Iverson and Philadelphia 76ers. A few nights later I was watching my St. Louis Blues play the Washington Caps in the same luxury box. We were following the model of many of the failed dot.coms, and each day in training, I saw a poorly developed product. They kept the prices hushed until a couple hours before I left for Washington-Dulles to catch a flight to Chicago, who was having a blizzard. The weather turned worse when they announced the subscription price. Upon the thousands it cost to setup the software, which was nearly the cost of a traditional software system, the monthly costs were astronomical. I flew back to O'Hare worried I made a bad decision, a decision that seemed to domino for the rest of the year.

I closed the company's first deal ever a couple months later, and it was all the business that the company would see for a few more months. I became good friends with the national sales manager. He was from St. Louis, so we had lots in common being Kurt Warner and St. Louis Blues fans. Since business wasn't going as quickly as they insured their investors, whose money they were spending quicker that today's Martinsville race, it was obvious there were going to change directions. The manager was first to go. I believe since I developed more than just an employee relationship with the manger, my papers were signed as well. They waited a couple of weeks to make the first cuts. My buddy from Wisconsin and I drove to St. Louis to work together on a hot lead. We believed we could share ideas and see what works. We came back with the company's second deal. A week later, I was gone.

I thought my dating life was good as well. I was contributing for the first time in a relationship and hadn't been as selfish as I have been known to be. She was trying to finish her degree and get out of the sales field. My income was good enough to allow her to work part-time and go to school. I hated calling her the day I lost my job. A week later she came home and told me that we needed to talk. It was not longer working for her anymore. I had gone from soul mate to a cougar's sugar daddy to kicked out. I later found out she graduated the same week, a secret she kept from me.

I spent most of the summer riding my bike, racing, dating a woman who started to ride, and fixing up my new apartment at this hip singles apartment complex called Four Lakes in Lisle. The idea of skiing in Illinois fascinated me, and renters got to use the apartments ski hill for free. They also had numerous other amenities, so it seemed like a good place for a young guy in his thirties to mend a broken heart.

I quickly found a job in retail managing a Performance Bike store in Northbrook. I negotiated a good living salary and told them my sales skills would save this store. We quickly moved up to the number 2 store in the country, second to an unbeatable Colorado store. When I wasn't at the store, I was on the bike preparing for racing USCF and RAGBRAI, the ride across Iowa. I became lonely too.

After I got back from RAGBRAI, I decided I would try the Internet dating world. I put an ad on Cupid Junction. A couple weeks later, I got a response from a woman in Naperville. Over the next month, we spent time on the phone talking to each other and e-mailing. We both had busy schedules, so it took about three weeks to finally meet. She drove to my Four Lakes apartment after work and I made dinner. It was one of those absolutely amazing dates, full of good conversations, attraction, and since I am a very good cook, good food. It was one of those dates that you wanted to last forever, and couldn't wait to see where the next date took us.

The relationship continued to grow over the next few months, but there was a couple of things that I started to get suspicious over. We always met at my apartment. Going to her place was inconvenient and 'out of the way.' I would soon discover she was married. Of course she had fallen, so she scripted this whole story about how abusive her husband was. He forced her to perform sexual acts she didn't want to participate in, and she even claimed he used prostitutes. Being a little naive, I chose to believe her because she assured me she was going through a divorce. Then a second little secret came out.

After the New Year, I invited her over for dinner. She called me that day from work and said she was really hungry and wondered what I was making. I told her fajitas with some Coronas with lime. She told me she would be there around 5:30, so dinner was ready to put on the table shortly after that. She was running late, so I tried calling her. I didn't get a response. I took the food off the table and placed it in the microwave. She finally showed up at my apartment around 7:30. She had an excuse for being late and not answering the phone.

I microwaved the food and put it back on the table. She took one bite of the fajita and she said did you cook the chicken, I feel like it's making me sick. By this time, the chicken had been overcooked trying to keep it warm for her arrival. She went into my bathroom and began throwing up with dry heaves. I knew then what I feared. She was an alcoholic.

I tried to be smart about it. I told her I would take her to the emergency room, but she wouldn't have anything to do with that. She wanted to lay down, and she asked for me to hold her as she said she had never been this sick before. I waited for what seemed forever for her to fall to sleep. As soon as she was asleep, I stepped out of my apartment to the parking garage of the high rise. I opened her car, and there was a large, mostly empty bottle of cheap vodka in the green backpack she often militantly protected. There was a receipt in the pocket as well. It was bought about the same time she called me, and I am guessing she was drinking at work which wasn't good since she was a licensed counselor.

When I returned to my apartment I let her sleep. When she awoke, I asked her if she had been drinking. She went into a rage and started yelling at me and said she was leaving. I blocked the door knowing she had no reason to be driving. She hit me and continued to yell at me and then broke down in tears admitting she had been drinking. For three months, I tried to play Superman to save her, but the more I found out the worst it got. She needed seriously help.

When her best friend suspected that her boy friend was cheating on her, we came up with a plan. Our plan uncovered her boyfriend's innocence, but dug up something far more disturbing with the person I wanted to save. She was either playing her husband or wasn't ever getting a divorce. She had moved out and gotten her own apartment with her best friend two months earlier, and used the apartment to arrange meeting other men. In fact, there were over ten other guys. Her best friend and me decided to come up with a plan to save this person, and it involved her husband. It was over as far as I was concerned.

We completed our plan and I began to walk away, but I was given a guilt trip. "All my other friends knew I was an alcoholic and they wouldn't step forward to help. You were the only one who stepped up and had the courage to confront me about my problems." I should have walked away, but I didn't.

My heart wasn't in it, and I think she knew it. She started working to get her other life back, which included making me out to be the abuser she made her husband out to be. Within a few days, I had an order of protection served against me. She claimed I held her against her liberties during my good deed which I felt I was being responsible by preventing her from getting behind the wheel of her car after drinking nearly a whole bottle of vodka. My good deed turned to an officer taking my Illinois Firearms Owner Identification Card (FOID) and my rifles. I could no longer own a firearm or legally fire a weapon until the order of protection expired.

It was a long two years, but the day it expired, I applied for a new FOID card. It was sent in a few weeks. I then called the Hinsdale Police Department. They had confiscated my rifles. At first, they couldn't find them. I put pressure on them, and they eventually found them in storage.

I tell you this story for one reason. Confiscating your guns isn't hard to do in this country. Even the act of preventing someone from getting in their car by blocking a door can be considered an act of domestic violence. This experience made me realize how fragile the Second Amendment is. It should alert you to how easy it would be if the government wanted to come after them. We know with the Veterans Disarmament Act that they already may be profiling people to take away their right to the Second Amendment. I don't rest at night knowing that they could go back into my history and dig up this bogus order of protection and come after mine one day. I won't let it happen again.

Stupid Microsoft!: Blue Screen of Death After Installing Vista Service Pack One

My computer has been down since I woke up this morning. I scheduled Windows Vista SP1 to install when I went to be last night, and I woke up to the blue screen. I have had a couple things that I really wanted to write today, but it will have to wait until I get my computer back up. Help! I don't want to do a system restore because I will have to reinstall everything.

So there probably won't be a tax blog this evening either.

One Man, Many Taxes, 365 Days: Day 86

Everything is turning green outside, and we have a big snow storm coming in. Isn't it great once again the weather decides to share some truth on the day of Earth Hour. Who comes up with this stuff? Turn your lights off for an hour and you'll feel really good about your self, yeah right.

If you follow my blog regularly, you may recall the blog about how Christian County Missouri is assessing an unapproved amount in their personal property tax assessments. They messed up the language on the ballot and the voters passed a 5/100 of a percent increase in sales tax. They increased the tax by five percent illegally, and the state has been investigating the county.

Each year you have to fill out your assessment form which describes the property you own. I had delivered mine to the court house with a letter to Sandra Bryant-Littles, the Christian County Assessor. The letter let the county know I don't expect being taxed at the higher rate, and will only pay the correct rate which voters passed. Today, I get another assessment form because they claim they never got my first form. They also had a little note in the corner that read since I hadn't filled mine out and delivered mine to the court house yet, I will receive a penalty. Do you get the feeling they didn't like my letter and maybe threw my form out?

I wrote the letter to Christian County Assessors Office on January 17, 2009. I delivered it the same day. Coincidentally, the other form I submitted that day was accepted without any problems. Perhaps, this is how government does you when you rock the boat. And to think, I might have to count on a government official to file my paperwork correctly before I get medial treatment one day. Unbelievable! I can only imagine what Governor Jay Nixon has in store for me.

More Stimulus Details Emerge: Ohio Suicide Bridge to Receive a Fence to Prevent Future Attempts

The All America Bridge (Y-Bridge) in Akron, Ohio is notorious for the number of suicide attempted off the bridge each year. Thanks to Obama, Pelosi, and the stimulus plan, suicide attempts off the bridge will be stopped thanks to a fence. That's right a fence. Does this sound like more of the same moronic ideas that typically come from a government official?

So you install a fence, but what are you going to do to all the other bridges in the Akron area that these poor, depressed people who watch more of their savings depleted every time Obama opens his mouth can travel to to make their last jump? Logical thinking would provide most people with the knowledge that people would just go to another bridge. As we know, politicians aren't logical people. The path to least resistance is usually the answer if someone tries to block your attempts. They will find another bridge. (Remember politicians are the same people who have failed in securing our borders. The same principle applies.)

''It just makes a safer Akron for everybody,'' said Robert Conley whose son, Kevin, jumped off the All America Bridge to in 2006.

Personally, I hate that these jumpers always find the busiest bridge in town to either gain sympathy and much needed attention or to actually put an end to all their suffering. I don't know how many times I sat in traffic on the Tri-State Tollway in Chicagoland looking at the shadowed outline of a body at the top of an overpass as Illinois State Police attempt to talk them off the bridge. Isn't there a less traveled bridge they can take their misery to? I have places to go.

The price of the worthless fence is $1.5 million. This is change you can believe in--a fence and the ignorance that went into placing it into the stimulus plan. I wonder which bridge will be the next bridge to labeled the suicide bridge in Akron. Geez. Now here's the irony. Let's say the fence saves a few lives. A few years later, the person dies anyway thanks to the government rationing health care after Obama and the Democrats pass nationalized health care. This shows you how ignorant our government has become.

Tomorrow at 8:30 PM, some of the world will celebrate Earth Hour by turning off their lights and remaining in the dark to raise global warming awareness. I think everyone should celebrate, but I recommend a far different celebration. As Las Vegas received snow last fall alerting us we were in for a very cold winter, 650 scientists were running from the global warming theories citing they were politically motivated.

Here’s what you can do to celebrate. Place the monitors of every computer you have in the house up to the windows of your home. The more the monitors you have the better. Use your laptops if you have them. Open up my blog with some of the quotes of the 650 scientists and educate your neighbors in the dark as they come to your house, condo, or apartment to request your participation in this world-wide joke.

If you can afford to rent one of those large search lights you often see at car lots who are having a big sale, rent on. If not, get a couple million candlepower plus search lights and stand out on your front porch citing attention to the scientists I noted above. Most of us in Missouri are considered domestic terrorist by Governor Jay Nixon, so you might as ad environmental terrorist to your resume in the same week.

Hillary Makes the Case for Gun Control in Mexico

Bill’s wife is coming after gun owners, and she is using Mexico as the issue to back door us into gun control. Yesterday, she said we are responsible for the security of Mexico. Why? Well she blames American drug use for the violence in Mexico. Because American guns are winding up in Mexico and used in drug related violence, they will make the case to repeal the Second Amendment and further push gun control.

Instead of enforcing our borders, they are now going to make American gun manufacturers the bad guy once again. We are not responsible for Mexico’s inability to enforce their laws. We need to enforce our laws, and keep the illegal aliens bringing drugs into the United State in Mexico, so they can’t sell drugs to us and they can return to Mexico with illegally purchased black market guns. These guns aren’t coming from American gun stores. They are black market, just like where the drugs they sell go into.

I am dumbfounded that liberals can’t see the violence caused by not enforcing our borders. Their little bleeding hearts don’t see the truth about the drug trade from South American and Mexico that threatens our children and now our way of life.

The Ozarks Are Starting To See $2 a Gallon Again: 30 Cent Increase at the Pump in Two Weeks

Gas moved upwards again this week. A couple of weeks ago, you could purchase gas for $1.69 a gallon in the Springfield, MO area. We are now seeing it hit the $2 a gallon mark ($1.999). This has been a rapid increase of 30 cents a gallon since my birthday on the March 18^th.

So what do we know about Obama’s economy. His budget includes huge tax increases, especially with an energy cap and trade plan. This will force gasoline and other energy costs upwards. If gasoline hits last year’s highs and may go higher, Obama has a real mess on his hands. Obama’s windmills purchased with stimulus money aren’t going to save the economy when it goes southward with rising energy costs this summer.

Missouri Choose Life License Plates: Federal Court Upholds First Amendment Rejects Appeal

If you don't believe the First Amendment is under attack by liberals, look no further than my home state of Missouri. Choose Life of Missouri, Inc. applied with the the state to produce a pro-life license plate. The message is positive. It simply says Choose Life, but two pro-death, pro-abortion Missouri legislators rejected the application four years ago.

Since then, Choose Life has been in court demanding their First Amendment right upheld. A federal court issued a judgement favoring the group citing a portion of the law the pro-death legislators cited was unconstitutional and required the state of Missouri to produce the Choose Life license plates. Here's the deal. If you are the pro-death type who supports abortion, don't buy the plate. The plate is the farthest thing from being offensive.

The plates have been available in Missouri since last year. This was the second appeal to remove the plates. Once again we see how the liberals use the courts to take away Constitutional rights. Fortunately, this time they lost. For eight years, the accused Bush of taking away Constitutional rights; yet, time and again I see stories like this.

Personally, I think Choose Life looks a lot nice on the plate than the current silly slogan they have on the plate. Someone has still yet to show me why they call Missouri the Show Me State. I wish they would remove it from the plate. I get tired of people asking me what it means.

Thank You Allah!: Afghan Suicide Bomber Kills Friends While Waving Goodbye

Mancow reports today that a radical Islamic suicide bomber was preparing to go off and die and destroy his targets. As he lifted his arm to raise his hand to wave goodbye to his friends, he set off the device and blew himself and his friends up. Six radicals plus the suicide bomber died. This sounds like something out of the movie American Carol, but according to Mancow, it happened. Thank you Allah for taking this one and his other idiots sooner rather than later.

Obama says he cares about you. Of course, as the nation goes through the worst economic crisis in the history of worst economic crises, Obama parties it up as a high-profile, selfish aristocrat. Parties at the White House with $100 a pound beef have become common a common plate. As people lose their jobs, Obama forms a Congo line and dances at the Wednesday night weekly gayla. Why do you think Obama cares about you, when he continues to show he doesn't care for his own brothers and sisters?

As Obama signs a book contract days to write a children's book before he takes the Oath to avoid any potential controversies, brother George Hussein Onyango Obama sits in a hut in Kenya living on less than one dollar a month. Obama made $500,000 on a January day to further indoctrinate your children with a book, while George lives in the same poverty he told Joe the Plumber he wants to lift Americans out of. He can't even contribute to lifting George out poverty, why in the world do you think he would help Peggy Joseph and other people? All it would take is a few hunderd bucks.

Malik Obama, who is four years older than his famous sibling, suffers from stomach pains and is being tested for cholera. Has Obama offered his hand to help his brother through this tough time? Has he offered to help his brother afford his health care? That's still unknown. Perhaps, Malik is smart enough to not accept the Obama health care plan.

Obama's Aunt Zeituni Onyango, who is an illegal alien, returned to her Boston slum housing project. A $500,000 book deal, and Obama didn't lift a finger to help the woman, who is in her late 50s but with a cane appears much older. No, she lives in a housing project funded by tax payers robbing another American citizen from the opportunity of housing. Oh the love of the Obama family! Why isn't Obama willing to redistribute some of his wealth to help poor little Aunt Zeituni?

Her illegal immigration hearing is on April 1. It's behind closed doors, so maybe he has pulled some strings to keep her in the country. Has he offered her a better life? The life so many others like Peggy Joseph were fooled by. Why doesn't Obama offer his poor little aunt help out of his own pocket (not taxpayers) so she can have a nicer apartment and a real taste of the American Dream?

Obama is obviously a very selfish man. His plans make everyone else do what he isn't willing to do for his own family. Why is it Obama doesn't do more good with his wealth and help his family out even a little bit? Could you imagine living on $12 a month?

Obama continues to make the rich evil, but Obama himself is a rich man. He possesses far more wealth than a majority of my readers, yet he seems to give back so little. In fact, his budget called for reducing the amount of charitable deductions. Do you think that maybe he was tired of being shown up by conservatives who have been proven generous and charitable in studies--more so than bleeding heart liberals who give less to charity? Here is man who wants to rob from Peter and give to Paul; yet, he doesn't appear to offer George a dime.

When Obama attacks wealth in this country, he does so from his own self experience. Obviously Obama has done little good with the wealth he has acquired, so obviously everyone who is rich must acquire it in the same vicious ungiving cycle that Obama received it. Therefore, they must be punished. Obama's miserly attitude towards his family is all I need to know. He doesn't understand charity and doing good with his money, and he is going to make others pay for having money like him.

One Man, Many Taxes, 365 Days & a Lying Governor: Day 85

The first quarter of the year is almost complete. I paid nearly $5000 in taxes during the first quarter. They tell us each individual in the United States owes over $35,000 if you break down their share of the national debt; yet with every penny I pay in, that number never gets reduced. It's like paying the minimum on a credit card. It quickly gets out of your control. It's really depressing, and what is Obama's solution? Spend more and more and more. Print more and more and more. My hard work is being devalued by this moron.

What a couple of weeks in Missouri. The conservatives and libertarians won. The Modern Militia Movement Report is dead. All the remains are the lies of Governor Jay Nixon claiming it was his predecessor's doing. We can't forget Governor's Nixon's role in this. He went from supporting and standing behind the document to claiming he never read it. I am sick of politicians without backbones. They rob us of our freedoms and our wealth and then they lie to us like were ignorant sheeple incapable of putting together a critical thought. Governor Nixon is a disgrace. I am still pursuing the documents using the Sunshine Law. We will see how Nixon likes this little Missouri law.

The Political Excuse Du Jour: I Didn't Read It

For the second week in a row, we are reminded by the laziness or the denial of responsibility by our leaders. After a week-long witch hunt of AIG bonus recipients, we discover every member of Congress and Obama and his administration had access to the bonus information. What was their way out of the mess, they didn't have time to read all the stimulus bill before approving the bonuses to AIG. To make matters worse, Christopher Dodd lied to us as did tax cheat Timothy Giethner and Obama. They knew the bonuses were coming. They used the opportunity for political gain labeling capitalism as evil. We are going to pay for their I didn't read it excuse for many years to come.

Now in Missouri, Governor Jay Nixon who last week stood behind the Modern Militia Movement Report now admits his ignorance. He didn't actually read the report. What a joke our leaders have become! They think we are so stupid that we will buy into their inconsistencies. Lick your finger and stick it in the wind. When it gets windy enough, just tell them you didn't actually read the report. How much of your time would it have taken Governor Nixon? Were you too busy on C-Span that day telling a talking head how excited you were spending the stimulus money and Missouri's children and grandchildren can pay for it? Oh, of course, pass off the responsibility to your predecessor just like Obama does.

Yes, I didn't read it is the political excuse of the day, and I am not buying it. These politicians would sell their mothers out for votes. It's really pathetic when you consider the lack of character that is currently leading this country.

Robert Jones came with inches of death at the insisntence of his GPS. Jones followed his GPS's advice without questioning it as it directed him off a cliff.

"It kept insisting the path was a road, even as it was getting narrower and steeper, so I just trusted it," delivery driver Robert Jones reportedly explained.

Jones, a Brit, was charged with careless driving. I just wonder if this was an excuse for a botched suicide. Look at the picture, and you tell me what GPS is going to instruct you to go down a road that obviously doesn't exist. I mean computers make error, but...

The New Madrid Fault Tells Us a lot About Scientific Predictions

California isn't the only state waiting for the big one. For most of my life, I have lived with the knowledge that one day, I will have to deal with the big one. When you live in Southern Missouri, earthquakes are a way of life. In fact, the New Madrid fault carries so much bang, that when the last big one went off they felt it in New York, and it made the Mississippi flow backwards. In fact, three of the largest earthquakes in North America occurred around southern Missouri.

Now scientists aren't so sure the big one is coming. In fact, the once feared fault may be shutting down according to scientists and new research at the fault. The team of scientists from Purdue and Northwestern studied the fault for eight years. They are now convinced there is less of a chance of another major earthquake in the region.

"Our findings suggest the steady-state model of quasi-cyclical earthquakes that works well for faults at the boundaries of tectonic plates, such as the San Andreas fault, does not apply to the New Madrid fault," said Calais, who is a professor of earth and atmospheric sciences. "At plate boundaries, faults move at a rate that is consistent with the rate of earthquakes so that past events are a reliable guide to the future. In continents, this does not work. The past is not necessarily a key to the future, which makes estimating earthquake hazard particularly difficult."

The study showed almost no movement in the plate as if it has settled. They measured 0.2 mm of movement per year. Which is far, far less then they expected.

Like I said, all my life, I have waited, based on scientific information for the big one, just like many of you wait for the temperatures to rise and kill life as we know it. With over 650 scientists now running from global warming claiming it's politically motivated, isn't it time we start looking at flaws in the global warming argument and perhaps reexamine our political direction before we are forced to pay 'green taxes.' Scientists have been proven wrong before, it seems we would at least consider that before ruining more American jobs with unsound environmentalist policies.

Seeking Records Using Missouri's Sunshine Law

Today Governor Jay Nixon did an about face with his support for the Modern Militia Movement Report. Nixon claims he no longer supports the report he said he stood by last week. Something tells me Governor Nixon licked his finger and held it to the wind. Governor Nixon is also pointing the blame of the report towards his predecessor Governor Matt Blunt. Can someone say worm; after all this is the man who proudly spouted on CNN that he will happily spend the stimulus money and Missouri’s children and grandchildren will inherit and pay the debt.

The truth is in records which Missouri’s Sunshine Law says we have the rights to. If you remember, Nixon used the Sunshine Law to ease his entry into the Governor’s Mansion with a witch hunt directed towards Blunt. The Sunshine Law reads:

“It is the public policy of this state that meetings, records, votes, actions, and deliberations of public governmental bodies be open to the public unless otherwise provided by law. Sections 610.010 to 610.200 shall be liberally construed and their exceptions strictly construed to promote this public policy.”

The key word here is open. This little technicality really makes the law rather useless, since they could deem many documents as closed, which will probably be the case with this report. The records will show Nixon is lying about Blunt’s role in the report, so will those records be open?
I called the Governor’s Office four times today before they finally called me back. I spoke with Nikki Loethen, who is in charge of the documents. She asked that I make a request by e-mail stating what I was looking for and she would be happy to assist. You can make the same request through her e-mail address, nikki.loethen@mo.gov. She asked me to include a fax number to fax the records to. I will request for documents containing any information from Governor Blunt’s desk and from Governor Nixon’s desk. It will be interesting based on past reports from Missourians Against Illegal Immigration and by Josh Carter if I will be successful in my search. Both who made previous attempts claim they had little success, and Carter claims he was harassed by Missouri’s law enforcement community.

Governor Jay Nixon Wants us to Believe Governor Blunt is Responsible for the Anti-Conservative Language in the Modern Militia Movement Report

Chad Livengood has an excellent article today in the Springfield News-Leader which he shows the inconsistencies in Governor Jay Nixon’s claim that Governor Matt Blunt is responsible for the anti-conservative rhetoric in the Modern Militia Movement Report. As someone who has known Governor Blunt for since I was a child and goes to the same church as Governor Blunt, I am not buying it. I doubt Blunt would allow the attack on Christianity with the language this report uses. This is obviously the same strategy Obama is currently using when things go wrong in his administration—blame Bush.

Before, I reprint the story, I have called Governor Nixon’s office three times today requesting information on meetings, records, votes, actions, and deliberations which his office has collected under the rights the Sunshine Law provides me, and each time, the person responsible for the records wasn’t able to take my call nor have they called me back today.

Here’s Livengood’s story:

JEFFERSON CITY — Gov. Jay Nixon said today that lax oversight from former Gov. Matt Blunt's administration led to the distribution of a now infamous state intelligence report on the modern militia movement," which his administration retract on Wednesday.

Nixon noted the Missouri Information Analysis Center was "formed under my predecessor."

"I was not governor, I did not hire any of the people there and nobody in my administration -- the director of public safety -- saw this stuff before it went out," Nixon told reporters gathered in his office after signing his first law as governor.

Created in 2005 under Blunt's watch, MIAC is part of a nationwide network of fusion centers that combine federal and state resources to keep police officers informed about criminal activity and terror threats.

Nixon said the state fusion center displayed "overzealousness" in churning out a militia member profile report that has no sources, yet makes broad statements about small government-minded conservatives.

"We've got enough bad guys to catch. We shouldn't spend our time looking at good guys," said Nixon, who spent 16 years as Missouri's attorney general before being elected governor last year.

On Thursday, the head of the Missouri Highway Patrol retracted the report and disclosed that only the author and director of MIAC saw it before it was distributed to law enforcement officials across the state.

Until the report was leaked to the media and caused an uproar among conservatives who feel maligned by it, Nixon said his administration was unaware of the process of how the MIAC goes about putting out intelligence reports about criminal and terrorism threats.

However, just two weeks ago, Nixon "briefed" U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano "on the workings of the fusion center," according to a Department of Public Safety news release.

It was Napolitano's first tour of a state fusion center since she became President Barack Obama's head of Homeland Security.

During the March 11 tour, Napolitano was quoted by reporters as saying: “Fusion centers are not domestic spy agencies and not designed to invade the privacy of citizens."

Nixon agreed, saying the fusion center has been an important tool for bringing justice.

“We're not out there snooping on anybody,” Nixon was quoted as saying. “This isn't about snooping. Fusion centers take existing law enforcement resources and analyze information.”

Highway Patrol Superintendent Col. James Keathley said Wednesday he would reform the process of distributing MIAC reports to ensure that he and Department of Public Safety Director John Britt get to actually read a copy, which did not happen with the militia report.

Nixon called the process under Blunt "simply not acceptable.”

“Under a previous system, MIAC would prepare and distribute these reports to law enforcement agencies without review or approval from the colonel of the Highway Patrol or the director of Public Safety,” Nixon said.

Nixon praised Keathley's reforms to add more oversight to the process.

"I think this action is being handled in a law enforcement way, not a political way," Nixon said.

The report is dated Feb. 20; Blunt handed over the reins of state government to Nixon on Jan. 12.

But there are indications in the report that it was authored before Barack Obama became president on Jan. 20. It refers to Obama as "president-elect." The official report on state letterhead also misspells Obama's first name: "Barrack."

So far, MIAC, DPS and Nixon's office have not answered questions about why the report was created in the first place.

At today's news conference, Nixon defended the important of having MIAC compile intelligence information for the law enforcement community.

"We're not in the business nor is law enforcement in the business of doing anything to hamper individual rights..," Nixon said.

Republicans say the Democratic governor is still not answering basic questions about the contents of the report, which labels fundamentalist Christians, members of third-party political movements and people who oppose abortion and illegal immigration as possible members of militias. The report makes no mention of left-wing terrorists.

“Nixon’s ridiculous new defense is particularly troubling and disingenuous since he has stood by the controversial report encouraging political profiling even as members of his administration began to back away from it,” Cassville attorney David Cole, chairman of the Missouri Republican Party, said in a statement.

Governor Blunt may have created the MIAC center, but there is no way he is responsible for this report. MAIC centers aren’t the issue. It’s the language in the report. With the friction between Governor Blunt and then Attorney General Jay Nixon, wouldn’t Nixon stop any Blunt policies including the creation of reports in order to carry out his own agenda? This report came out over four weeks after Nixon took office. I am sure Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder will have something to say about this. I am also curious if the media will reach former Governor Blunt for comments. I have no doubt Jay Nixon is working to weasel his way out of this, and if enough people put pressure on the Governor’s office for the documents concerning Nixon’s role in this, (providing Nixon plays by the rules which he attempted destroy Governor Blunt with) I have little doubt Nixon’s name is all over this.

Miguel Tejada's Penalty for Lying to Congress: Obviously Another Congressional Double Standard

Do you know what you get when you lie to Congress? If you don’t know ask Miguel Tajada. On the day that reports of the BCS, the college football national championship rankings, are going to be investigated by Congress, Tajada receives his sentence for lying to Congress about steroids. Why Congress felt it was the Constitutional obligation to investigate baseball or college football is still beyond me.

Because of Congressional arrogance and Tajada hoping to protect his career, he will receive probation, 100 hours of community service (that’s a popular word around Congress these days—that is forced community service, HR1388), and $5000 in fines. Sure, it’s not much of a sentence considering he lied under oath, but he should have never been under investigation by our arrogant Congress in the first place.

Once again, I can’t help but cite this incredible double standard of honesty, or in this case dishonesty, of our Congress. You put all 535 members of this body in the room, and chances are you have one of the largest collections of pathological liars in the world. Take for instance AIG last week. How many of them claim they didn’t know about these bonuses until after they were issued, even though they all voted on the legislation which allowed these bonuses. Chris Dodd and Barney Frank are obviously the leaders of this group of liars based on what we found out about both of them as the week progressed. They knew about it, and they lied. Where is their sentences, fines, and community service?

Tajada plays a game. In the grand scheme of things, not a very important game. No offense to baseball, a game I love. If baseball was to go away, the world wouldn’t end. We trust Congress with something much greater; yet, they get away with lying to us daily. Once again, it’s an average Joe who pays for their arrogance.

Requesting Modern Militia Movement Report Documents Under the Provisions of the Sunshine Law from Governor Jay Nixon

After reading Josh Carter’s letter to Governor Jay Nixon, I decided to call Nixon’s office to make a request for the Modern Militia Movement Report documents from Nixon’s first meeting with state officials and law enforcement officials. I was transferred to an office and voicemail took the call. I left the information they needed to call me back, and let them specifically know that I was seeking information under the Sunshine Law for the documents related to the MIAC Modern Militia Movement Report. I will comment further once the Nixon’s office returns my call or sends their thugs out.

Earlier this week, I was interviewed by KY3 who did a story on the report. I have forwarded the Carter’s letter to Dave Cantanese, who requested the interview with me on Monday.

Governor Nixon May Have Broke Sunshine Law After Modern Milita Movement Report Request: Missouri State Law Officials Use Thug Tactics

Missouri Political News received an e-mail today accusing Governor Jay Nixon and Missouri law enforcement officials of harassment after they declared information based on the Sunshine Law. Remember, Nixon pushed the Sunshine Law on Governor Matt Blunt in hopes to remove him from office, which really was a witch hunt to give Nixon a free ride to the Governor’s Mansion. This is the second time we have heard of Governor Nixon not complying with the Sunshine Law. The first time was from a Missouri group that fights against illegal immigration. This letter was directed towards the Modern Militia Movement Report.

To whom it may concern:

Attached you will find a letter from me to Governor Jay Nixon. In that letter, I ask Governor Nixon to leave me and my friends alone.

Here is what happened: I filed a Sunshine Request with Nixon on the past Monday, March 23rd at about 10 am. My Sunshine Request stemmed from my concern with Nixon over his MIAC “report” and over his videocamera in his office.

By 4 pm on this past Monday, members of law enforcement were showing up at my friends’ homes and asking all kinds of questions about me, about my beliefs, about my habits. I do not think that this is a coincidence that this started right after my request. It has continued until today - so far at least 7 friends or people I know have been visited by law enforcement.

To be clear, I am the kind of person that Nixon’s MIAC profiled: I am a Ron Paul supporter and I have opposed the exansion of the Federal Reserve. And I am generaly conservative. Also, I am sure you know that I am a member of the Missouri Republican Party State Committee. It seems obvious to me that since My Sunshine Request identified my concern about Nixon’s MIAC “report” that profiled people like me that I may be targetted.

In America, a “report” like Nixon’s MIAC report should not be allowed. Nor should my friends be hassled by cops and investigators about me and who I am.

I have retained a lawyer and spoken to my elected officials. I will not take this kind of abuse lying down.

I am sending this to local press and public officials to try to get help in addressing this matter.

Springfield, Missouri April 15 Tea Party: Tentative Plans for the April 15, 2009 Tax Day Revolt Tea Party

Details for the Springfield, Missouri April 15, tea party are starting to come out. Although, these details are not solid, the tentative details appear that the tea party will be held at Fassnight Park off Campbell Street near Parkview High School. It will starts at 4:00 PM and will end at 6:00. Official details will be coming out on Monday.

KSGF’s Vincent David Jericho will once again lead the protest against our overreaching federal (becoming national) government. You will want to make plans to be there. Invite your friends, and let’s show the federal government that the Ozarks won’t put up with the tyranny coming out of Washington DC. It would be nice, and we should demand, to have Roy Blunt attend the event so he can clearly understands the frustrations of Southwest Missourians.

Come out and celebrate your liberties and freedoms and send a message that we want the federal government restored to a Constitutional government before they become a national socialist government.

Senator Benjamin Cardin Hopes to Grant Newspapers Non-Profit Status: Bailouts Can't Be Far Behind

Senator Benjamin Cardin (D-MD) introduced a bill in the Senate to give newspapers non-profit status. The bill would make newspapers free from taxation as a plan to save the usually democratic friendly newspaper industry. Newspapers continue to lose to internet and other news outlets. It seems to me Congress is picking and choosing which industries to save and which ones to lose. With no disrespect to my fellow writers, newspapers seem like dinosaurs to me. They don’t fit into our fast-paced lifestyles, and of course there is the green argument, which is rarely applied to the industry as long as they print liberal friendly stories. I’d rather have cheap gas than a newspaper. If CO2 is the problem, which I don’t believe, then we shouldn’t be chopping down trees so the liberals can share their rhetoric will millions daily.

"We are losing our newspaper industry," Cardin said in a statement. "The economy has caused an immediate problem, but the business model for newspapers, based on circulation and advertising revenue, is broken, and that is a real tragedy for communities across the nation and for our democracy."

I think the real problem here is Democrats like Cardin see a traditional Democratic rhetorical tool dying as more conservatives have discovered they have a medium to present their voice with, when often it was denied by an editor. Right Mr. Cardin?

Of course, Mr. Cardin says newspapers would be forced to remain neutral and could no longer endorse candidates, but there’s always an exception to every rule. As they continue to fail under non-profit status and there becomes talk to nationalize the newspaper industry, we may never really know the truth behind what our leaders are doing. That just scares me. If the newspaper industry’s time has come to pass on, then let it pass. Let’s not pour billions into saving something that is no longer relevant.

The Fed Ex contracts with Boeing are worth $6.7 billion and obviously thousands of jobs. Originally the contract was going to Airbus, but Fed Ex decided to keep the money in the United States and chose Boeing. Even though, we hate to see Boeing as the ultimate victim of the threat, it’s still nice to see a major corporation putting their foot down and threatening to go semi Galt.

US Senate Plans to Regulate the BCS: NCAA College Football Under Congressional Attack

If you need proof Obama and US Congress is well beyond the means of their power, look no further than the story Congress plans to look into the NCAA Bowl Championship Series college football rankings.

The BCS "leaves nearly half of all the teams in college football at a competitive disadvantage when it comes to qualifying for the millions of dollars paid out every year," said the Senate Judiciary's subcommittee on antitrust, competition policy and consumer rights on Wednesday. There is little doubt that the BCS could develop a better system, but it’s not our governments job to do so. Obviously there is nothing Congress won’t touch these days. They think it’s all theirs to fix. This includes Republicans.

Republican Orin Hatch is leading the effort with support from Representative Joe Barton (R, Texas). Hatch said, the BCS "has proven itself to be inadequate, not only for those of us who are fans of college football, but for anyone who believes that competition and fair play should have a role in collegiate sports." While our economy is down, and our Congress continues to bankrupt us, this is what Obama and Congress are concerned about. Yes, Obama too. Obama has been critical of the BCS as well, and we already know he made sure to get his picture op with his NCAA basketball tournament bracket to the disgust of Duke coach Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski.

Barton's bill in the house calls for the BCS to stop naming a national champion until a playoff system is in place. With all the problems in the United States, these morons in Congress are concerned about college football. Who cares about the trillions of dollars going out the door, right?

I joked around earlier that they are coming for NASCAR with these carbon regulations. In the back of my mind, I knew it was a real possibility. Now, I know it’s only a matter of time. If I was NASCAR, I would be prepared to be next.

HR1388: New Language for a New Draft

Let's now kid ourselves. Obama and the Democrats love to play with language. Let's call HR1388 what it really is. It's the new language for a draft. Sure community service sounds nice. Why shouldn't it. We teach it in church, the Boy Scouts, in the Girl Scouts, and in schools. Everywhere you look, you see the benefits of community service throughout the United States, even in the hood. Do we need more community service? Of course we do. Do we need the government to force people to volunteer? No.

Let's call this what this really is. Obama didn't hide the fact that he wanted to create a civilian military force. HR1388 is the beginning of this force. It basically creates the draft. What that means to your children is still unclear, but I guarantee, once the total plan is exposed, you aren't going to be happy. More than likely, it will be far too late to stop it.

The Obama plan is in full motion now. It's time to start fighting against it before you no longer recognize your country.

Eight States Push to End Welfare for Drug Users: Now Picture of the AIG Bonus Recipients and be Prepared to Get Mad

Well, it's about time! Someone is looking for ways to slow down the recent increase in welfare spending. Eight states have proposed mandatory drug testing for welfare recipients. Far too many times, it seems like people have the comforts of their vices and their highs while receiving government funded welfare.

The law would allow the states to seek random drug tests of welfare recipients suspected of using drugs. Many civil liberties groups fear this will worsen the living conditions of those who are in need and is a violation of their Fourth Amendment rights.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by the Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

After the state of Michigan drug tested welfare recipients, the courts ruled the Fourth Amendment protected the people from the tests. They continued to receive welfare money even if they were doing something illegal with it--like buying drugs. (By the way isn't Secretary of State Bill's wife in Mexico looking like she wants to fight the war on drugs by making it harder for drugs to come across our southern border? Let's not do the right thing here in our own country, right?)

So, we have a group of people who break the law with illegal drugs like methamphetamine, and the government continues to put money in their pockets. Hmmm, for some reason my mind races back to last week.

Welfare recipients take government money--often a combination of state and federal funds. Yet, the government holds them to no standard when they take the money. Civil liberties groups fight for their rights. Barney Frank never asks for their names. Heck, Governor Jay Nixon knows he has a meth problem in 417 land. (Users refer to meth as ‘417,’ the area code for much of southern Missouri.) Nixon continues to expand welfare programs in the state without any accountability, often to these areas where the lack of jobs force Hillbilly Bob and his toothless wife Mary Joe Ellen to cook up the latest form of Missouri moonshine. No, let’s not demand accountability. Let's continue to providing them with federal funds which are unconstitutional, and then claim they have a constitutional right that protects them from any accountability.

Now, who else do we know that took government money? Oh, that's right, AIG. Where were the civil liberties groups when Barney Frank was demanding their names for misusing government money? What about the illegal seizure of this money through ex post facto taxes? Representative Earl Pomeroy called the AIG bonus recipients losers on the House floor, but who really are the losers of these two groups of people--the AIG bonus recipients or the welfare dependent, altered state people getting high at the expesne of the taxpayers? I don't think this is a hard question. AIG workers went to work under contracts and obeyed the laws, and the government treats them like they are dirt. When it comes to distributing drugs and using them, the courts cite the Fourth Amendment to protect the people who broke the law to protect their government handouts.

So why is it Congress and Governors like Jay Nixon continue to pump billions into welfare without holding the recipients to any standards, but $165 million in bonuses raises an uproar in Congress and President, who knew about the bonuses? Well, that's easy. Look at our public schools. They no longer teach, and I mean drill it in the heads of the students, subjects like The Constitution. Even in small Missouri communities, like Ozark High School and Ozark Junior High, schools worry more about their sporting stadiums than homework and academics. During my seventh grade year, I could define communism, knew the preamble to The Declaration of Independence, and wrote papers on government. At Ozark Junior High, the teachers assign writing Humpty-Dumpty stories. It think it's obvious our country works to keep people fat and stupid these days. That's why we have people who go in front of the President and asks if Obama will save them from trans fats and to force McDonald's to give them more benefits. It's obvious there is no understanding of the limits of government anymore. So why don't they hold welfare recipients to the same standards as AIG bonus recipients? Simple, drugs continue to keep people numb and stupid and not caring what is going on around them. It's unlikely a methhead will drill Representative Frank they way that I and many of my conservative bloggers have.

Congress will fight for lowlifes all-day long, despite what they do with their taxpayer funded money. Remember this truth in life. Those who you support, fight for, and make friends with are a reflection of who you are. Considering the double standard, Congress has become a bunch of lowlifes as well.

Gateway Pundit is reporting the dollar fell after Tax Cheat Timothy Geithner made his comment about being open to an international currency. That was the first bad news about money today. The second bad news was the fact that Obama and the Democrats are spending money at a rate that the United States will be bankrupt in less than ten years. According to reports, within ten years, the average monthly interest payment on the national debt will be more than $800 million. At that point, you won't even want to got to work. The government will have consumed your check in taxes to keep up. It's sad what they are doing to our country. What are you going to do about it?

Now is Not the Time to Tune Out: Jigsaw, Freedom, the Smurfs, and Socialism

The United States Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner says he's quite open to the idea of switching to an international currency. HR1388 in the House of Representatives may make the idea of community service sound like a great way to bring life to the neighborhood, but it's designed by statist to indoctrinate the next generation of children to forget about the Constitution and accept the new socialism. HR645 in the House of Representatives authorizes FEMA camps, possibly for dissent. Our government may possibly be moving to the type of country history teachers once scared young students with to make them understand the realities of life in the Soviet Union.

We once had teachers that taught. I remember Mr. Bill Jeffries in my junior high American History class asking us why Papa Smurf wore a red hat?

Clint Maples exclaimed, "because he's a communist!"

"That's exactly right," yelled Mr. Jeffries.

They don't teach those truths in school anymore (especially at Ozark Junior High), and the older in life I get, the more I realize the Smurfs were all good little socialists--all limited by Papa Smurf's leadership and prevented to achieve something bigger on their own. Everything was done for the good of the little Smurf commune.

I have friends who were once active in the political arena who have chosen to tune out. It's like it's not going to happen if they choose not to watch or listen. When I call them, I sound like the crazy one because so much is happening so fast with this new administration. There's a new Papa Smurf in town, and with proposals like those which came off his Web site, change.gov, requiring community service, all the children will be singing la, la, la la la la (it's hard to make it sound Smurfy as I write the LAs, so imagine it in your head) as they are required to volunteer and go through indoctrination. I wonder if that's what it will take to get them to wake to how our country is changing.

I still call, and I share with them the same things I share with you on this blog. Sometimes I still don't think they get it, or they choose to tune me out too. Now is not the time to tune out though. I know it's as scary as waking up chained to Jigsaw's death machine and given a limited time to get out of it, but that's exactly where we may just be in the United States today. The white noise on the TV now plays Jigsaw's voice, spoken with the assistance of a teleprompter. Freedoms dies unless you prove you want it to live. An evil little puppet with red bulls-eye-like swirls highlighting its cheeks looks on wondering what you are going to do to keep liberty from dying. What are you going to do to prevent your children from living a life of Smurfdom as these politicians spend their futures away. Within ten years this country will face over 800 billion a month in interest payments on the national debt if we continue down Obama's spending road. In Jigsaw's voice, I ask you again, what are you willing to do to save your freedoms?

Newspaper Bailout Talk Reminds Me of the Old Days of TASS: Government Controlled News in the Future?

When I look at the Springfield News-Leader, I have little doubt they are suffering like many other newspapers around the country. Over the past year, the paper continues to get thinner and thinner just like the jobs at the paper. Now there is talk about newspaper bailouts, and that should concern you considering how Barney Frank and Congress treated the recipients of the AIG bailout and bonuses. Congress assumed power over the company, which is far from being Constitutional.

 

Freedom of speech is one of the most important foundation pieces in our country. We have long known the Democrats and the media have been in bed with each other. A newspaper bailout would give them power over the newspapers--the same power we watched them assume with AIG. Few papers in America will be free to report the negatives of the Obama administration and Democrats in Congress. Will we see anything closely resembling the truth if they bailout the papers?

 

It might not stop at the papers either. I have mentioned earlier in my blog television ad revenues are down, and the government botched the digital television transition costing the stations far more than they budgeted for. Television stations may need a bailout too which would provide the government with a monopoly over the media in this country. Of course this is hypothetical, but it’s also a very real reality. Maybe that was the plan all along. Make them beg, and then we gain control.

 

We may not be that far away from a government run media, in which the freedom to information—and it’s debatable whether or not we have that freedom now—will be totally controlled by the government. When I was a boy, I knew that as TASS, the Soviet news agency. I never believed I would see the day where this might be a situation we face in the United States, but looking at the possibility of a newspaper bailout, it isn’t wrong to consider based on watching Congress abuse their power with the previous bailouts.

Geithner Says He's Open to Consider the Chinese Plan for a New International Currency

Timothy Geithner said today he is "quite open" to the Chinese plan to create a new international currency during a committee meeting. Earlier this week, the Chinese said they would like to create global currency, and the Russians suggested it a couple weeks earlier. Now the Secretary of the Treasury says he’s open to the idea. This is a clear signal about who Obama and his cronies are. If you don’t believe they aren’t socialist and part of new world order, you better wake up.

I am stunned that we are sitting here watching our country take the hit from within the inside. If we go to an international currency, we will not be able to celebrate the freedoms we know, the prosperity of the past what should return if the politicians don't sell us out, and a future for your children. We are Americans. We use dollars. We don't let communist and socialist create our money system for us. Congress needs to continue to put pressure on Geithner to resign. He is going to sell us out, and his words today are proof of that.

It's now clear why Obama and Geithner are devaluing the dollar. They are creating this situation by printing more money and borrowing even more. This is scary stuff. Are you ready to step forward to save your country?

800 Billion Dollars a Month in Interest Charges by 2019

I heard an alarming number on the Sean Hannity show. It’s the number Governor Jay Nixon doesn’t want you to know as he talks about passing the stimulus debt to the children and grandchildren in Missouri. If Obama and the Congress continue on this spending spree, we will be paying over $800 billion in interest per month within the next nine years. Republicans aren’t lying when they say Obama is bankrupting the country. This is a very alarming number. Think about adding nearly a trillion dollars more every month to the amount we already owe. We are on a path for disaster, and it scares me. This is what our future looks like thanks to this irresponsible and careless stimulus, bailout, earmarks, and budget spending that has taken place in the last half-year. We are going to become slaves to the countries that own these bonds. We are all going to wind up as Chinese slaves working to pay this debt back, and we better start considering that as Obama stands before us selling his budget.

Obama's Poll Numbers Down: Time To Find More Trans Fat Women and Julio Oseguedas | Electronic Town Hall Meeting Tomorrow

Zogby’s recent approval poll of Obama shows him even at 50%. That’s a fast drop after the inflated numbers when he was parading around in front of a teleprompter and podium with a sign reading ‘Office of the President Elect.’ Obviously Americans are concerned he’s moving too fast, spending their children’s future away, and moving this country towards socialism through more nationalization of the banks regardless of how many times he laughs at reporters and declares he’s a capitalist.

It’s already become cliché. Obama drops in the polls, and Obama goes to the people in the town hall format pathos fest, which include such memorable moments as Trans Fat Woman and Julio Osegueda. Tomorrow, he attempts a nation-wide electronic, American Online style chat room, town hall meeting. Apparently a few hundred people in Costa Mesa, California isn’t enough to get the poll numbers back up. I have one question concerning this whole format Obama plays with tomorrow. Does Obama type or does he leave that to the Teleprompter of the United States? If Obama types, will he use filler language like uh as he pauses to dig himself out of a tough question. Of course, considering the questions he received from people like Trans Fat Woman, there are no tough questions at these things, which is probably the real reason Obama goes to these things.

He can be a rock star again. He has to miss those fall days on the campaign trail with the blind masses screaming YES WE CAN without having a clear definition of what can is. The only can I think Obama can do is spend more money than all the President’s combined. He is bankrupting this country with his massive spending that isn’t stimulating the economy. His response to this failure, let’s spend more. If Obama was to do a town hall meeting in front of a tea party, we would then see what he is made of. He would rather play it safe using a chat room and places where people care more about trans fats than their children’s future.

Don't be Fooled by Democrats Angered by Obama's Budget: Politics as Usual

The Mike Church show brought up some very good points on the subject of Obama’s budget today. There has never been a bigger budget presented before Congress, so it will be easy to for Democrats to claim they have worked hard to scale down the budget. Did they really? This is a trap that the mainstream media will easily fall into as Obama’s approval ratings continue to drop.

Remember the latest Zogby poll shows Obama has fallen to 50 percent. Liberals will cite the Chicago Tribune poll still shows 67 percent approval, but keep in mind, they are in Obama’s backyard. Congress knows these polls are falling fast, and they are squirming as they look forward to the mid-term elections. The mid-term elections rarely favor the party in power.

Americans are upset at the direction of the country and the amount of money our government is spending. Some Democrats in Congress will work to create an illusion they have gotten Obama’s spending under control, but I remind you the budget calls for over $3 trillion in spending. It will be easy to shave millions and billions off. Just because they shave off a few billions by no means make the budget responsible. Obama has already spent trillions in his first weeks, now he wants to the increase the deficit to dig a deeper hole for the children and grandchildren. The spending issues don’t even cover the new taxes in the budget that will cost you more as well as Obama’s budget goes green.

I am writing this because I have fallen for this trap. Pelosi plans to pass the budget in one vote. I woke up when I heard this and realize these budget arguments coming from the Democrat party are coming from fear of losing their seat, not because they demand responsibility from Obama. I once saw a slight bit of hope that Obama’s budget would be in for a long fight, but that’s what they want you to believe. A few billion removed from the budget still jeopardizes our future. Now is not the time for experimental spending topped with increased and new taxes. Now is the time to demand responsibility from our government. We need a Republican to step up and tell Obama he is out of money.

What Democratic opposition is out there, remember it’s politics as usual. They still blame a single man for the economy and justifying the Obama budget—Bush, and nothing could be farther from the truth.

Notre Dame Scandal Web Site: Protesting Obama and His Abortion Views as He Receives and Honorary Notre Dame Degree

Obama, a supporter of infanticide, has been asked to give the commencement speech at Notre Dame, a Catholic university. The Catholic church has taken a strong stand against abortion, and Obama’s views are obviously far from the church’s doctrine.

Bishop John D'Arcy has decided he will stand behind the doctrine of the church, and he will not be attending commencement exercises. Cardinal Newman is putting pressure on the university and started a Web site to put pressure on Notre Dame not to allow Obama to give the commencement or receive an honorary degree. This nation has many thousands of accomplished leaders in the Catholic Church, in business, in law, in education, in politics, in medicine, in social services, and in many other fields who would be far more appropriate choices to receive such an honor from the University of Notre Dame.

Instead Notre Dame has chosen prestige over principles, popularity over morality. Missouri House Moves Against Modern Militia Movement Report: New Budget Amendment Prevents Political Profiling in Missouri

The Missouri State House is looking to protect the rights of Missourians which may be infringed upon by Governor Jay Nixon and the Modern Militia Movement Report. Both Republicans and Democrats in Jefferson City are planning on adding an amendment to the budge that prohibits the Department of Public Safety from profiling Missouri citizens based on their political beliefs.

Lawmakers will offer the proposed amendment today in hopes to end the witch hunt against conservative causes that are contained in the report. Representative Jim Guest, who also sponsored the Missouri Sovereignty bill, which makes him a possible domestic terrorist according to the report, introduced the measure which has been embraced by both parties.

Hillary the Movie Supreme Court Ruling Expected Soon: Will The First Amendment Be Protected?

If you are a conservative, they will make movies to smear you. If you are a liberal, and someone makes a movie of you that puts you in a less than positive light, you go to court to prevent the release. Months after Oliver Stone's W. was released, the movie Hillary is held up in court thanks to John McCain's campaign finance laws.

The move that shows the uglier side of Hillary, you know, the side that used Bill to walk her way up the ladder to become a 2008 presidential candidate while declaring she is a strong woman and stepping on everyone who got in her way.

The group Citizens United made the movie during her 2008 campaign. Unfortunately, corporate donations were used to make the movie, so there was a violation of campaign laws, since the movie was made to derail Hillary. Now the election is over, the movie is still held up in court.

What's in the movie that keeps Hillary's people fighting hard to keep it from being released? There have long been rumors of a possible lesbian affair with her personal aid. Could it be her temper? Could it be her overseas relationships that threatened her Secretary of State nomination?

The film's makers claim the film is biographical and that their First Amendment rights have been violated. Still their opponents claim it's a 90-minute campaign commercial. Of course the real issue with this in Obama's America is will we have the right to criticize our leaders and politicians. That's the real issue that will come with the court's ruling. This ruling could have a long impact that we will immediately see in 2012, when Dear Leader faces reelection.

I Taught Constitutional Law: The Four Most Deceiving Words in The White House

The four most deceiving words in The White House are I taught constitutional law. These words often cover the fact Obama is doing something unconstitutional. Now that I have pointed them out, listen for them.

Obama plans to go to Congress to ask to give Tax Cheat Timothy Giethner the power to seize non-bank financial companies, like insurers and hedge funds. The man who laughed at a New York reporter for asking if he was a socialist moves closer to socialism while ignoring the limits place on the executive and legislative branch in the Constitution.

“Giving the Treasury secretary authority over a broader range of companies would mark a significant shift from the existing model of financial regulation, which relies on independent agencies that are shielded from the political process,” said the Washington Post. “The Treasury secretary, a member of the president’s Cabinet, would exercise the new powers in consultation with the White House, the Federal Reserve and other regulators, according to the document.”

Representative Paul Kanjorski (D), who exposed the rundown on money market accounts on September 11, 2008, said he would work with the Obama administration to give the administration more authority. It's amazing how quickly these guys change their tunes. From one day he's concerned about how we got in this situation, and the next he is handing over power to the very people who may be responsible for this situation (see video on link above).

There is nothing constitutional about what we see taking place between the White House and Congress, and once again while all this happens, we have Barney Frank diverting our attention with his accusations of Homophobia.

Lance Armstrong's Injury Worse Than Doctors Thought

There was lots of optimism over Lance Armstrong's broken collarbone after his wreck in Spain. Now his injury may be worse than first thought.

"It's a very common cycling injury, so you hear of guys who have raced two weeks later, and guys who have raced two months later. In my opinion, I think the Giro is still very doable," Armstrong said.

Further tests showed the collar bone is broken in more places than what they first diagnosed. Armstrong said this is the worst setback in his career.

"A broken collarbone in March does not change anything as regards the Tour de France," which starts on July 4, Johan Bruyneel said.

"For the moment, we are sticking largely with the same schedule. He was going to be leaving for the US after this race and then come back for the Giro, so for the moment nothing has changed," he told reporters before the start of the second stage of the Tour of Castilla y Leon in central Spain.

"Personally, I think it is still possible to take part in the Giro," which starts on May 9, but he is "still going to be less fit," said Bruyneel.

Obama and Teleprompter Lover's Spat?: The Monica Lewinsky of Speech Aids

There was something much different about Obama's dull press conference last night. The teleprompter he's been seen late at night with sneaking into the Lincoln bedroom with was absent. What there a lover's spat of Bill and Hilly proportions over Monica in the White House recently? There was a new girl in town last night with Monica size hips, shinier make up, and coincidentally---dressed in blue.

Obama used an environmental destroying, large carbon footprint, energy consuming, big screen LCD monitor for his words last night. I haven't checked Barack Obama's Teleprompter's Blog yet, but I have no doubt the prompter was at a Georgetown last night drinking away the hurt of having been dumped for a fat, big screen.

The End of the Term War on Terror: Overseas Contingency Operation

One of the sound bites I hoped KY3 was going to use was when I pointed out Governor Jay Nixon's Modern Militia Movement Report calls out Christians as domestic terrorists, but to say radical Islamic terrorists in this country is considered taboo by liberals. That proved even more truer. Obama ordered we are no loner to use the term 'global war on terror.' From here on out, it's the Overseas Contingency Operation. In a memo sent to the Pentagon, Obama told officials to no longer use "'Long War' or 'Global War on Terror' [GWOT.] Please use 'Overseas Contingency Operation.'"

Terorrist acts are no longer to be called terrorists acts either. They are to be called human condition caused calamities. That just rolls off the tounge as well! So we see more plays on words in the Obama administration. Toxic assets become legacy assets. The war on terror becomes the overseas contingency operation, and yet very little changes. It turns out Obama has obviously been bought by certain Wall Street players, and he is no longer going to use the term war to make his supporters happy after committing more troops to Afghanistan and will probably leave troop left overs in Iraq. This is why you need to look behind the curtain at Obama. He is a proven liar. Do not use Overseas Contingency Operation. We are at war against radical Islamic terrorists.

One Man, Many Taxes, 365 Days: Day 83

I hear American Idol was on tonight. No seriously, it was. In fact, all networks carried it tonight and some of the cable news networks as well. I don't know how well the American Idol contestant did tonight, but I know he will probably be voted off the next chance Americans have to vote. I went and got sushi instead. I'm already bored.

I did get home towards the end. I heard the familiar uhs during the performance. I guess the teleprompter duet was earlier in the night. I know I didn't need to watch tonight to know my taxes are about to go up.

For Those of You Who Said Conservatism Was Dead: WE'RE BACK

I recall less than six months ago, we were written off. We no longer mattered in America. The Reagan Revolution died. I warned liberals who thought they had stuck the dagger deep inside of the real heart of American, that we were once told they died. Many conservatives decided they wanted to be more like big spending liberal and guess what? They voted the big-spending Republicans out of office. A few Democrats took notice of what took place in 2006, and they aren't as eager as they once were to support Obama's weekly trillion dollar spending sprees. One liberal who followed my site grew so tired me declaring conservatism hadn't died, she never came back to my site. (She was obviously only here to twist the dagger she thought Obama, Pelosi, and Reid planted.) I wish she was here today, because it's obvious, Conservatism isn't dead, nor are we the silent majority anymore. Our voices have become louder, and we will be heard.

Today, Mark Levin's book debuts at number one on the best seller list. Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto looks at the history of our country and outlines how liberalism has destroyed certain institutions, created bigger government, and led us to the mess we are in today and what we can do about it. If Conservatism was dead, this book wouldn't have been printed.

There are more and more tea parties scheduled to protest the direction of the Obama administration, the outrageous spending, the bailouts, and the socialist takeover which is occurring despite of Obama's denials. With each new report, the parties make a new statement and thousands more participate. Conservatism is not dead!

In Missouri, conservatives united once news started to spread that Governor Jay Nixon approved the language in the Modern Militia Movement Report. State officials started to apologize, but their apologies didn't go far enough. They heard us! They definitely heard us. In fact, I think it's safe to say that Missouri's new governor knows more about me than Missouri's last governor, who I went to school with, hung out with, and even stayed over with. Conservatism is not dead!

Obama and his cronies tried to attack Rush Limbaugh with their rules for radicals. Limbaugh's popularity has reached an all-time high, and his ratings have skyrocketed. Conservatism is not dead!

Finally, Republicans have caught Democrats in the general congressional poll that asks which party are you more likely to vote for in the next congressional election. Conservatism is not dead!

It seems to me Obama and the Democrats left the scene of the death too soon. They didn't check to see if conservatism was still breathing. Even with the many warnings we put out there, they didn't ride back on their horses to the battlefield. They began the rapidly put their socialist agenda in play, spending and printing money as if there was no tomorrow. This will prove to be Obama's biggest mistake. He should have taken what he was given and played with slowly. Had he appeared as a moderate, he may have been able to continue the death blow to conservatism while hiding his real agenda. We know who Obama is now, and people are prepared to fight tooth and nail to hang onto their conservative country. We have Obama to thank for the political CPR.

By the way, the boisterous blogger who argued tooth and nail our movement was dead, well, she hasn't had a thing to say since December 12, 2008.

The Summer of Love, Love of Marx: Das Kapital the Musical Coming Soon to a Theater Near You

As Obama and Timothy Geithner now talk of nationalizing businesses that aren't even going under, it's apparent this summer will be known as The Summer of Love, Love of Marx. And playing right along with this new worldwide fascination of Karl Marx, the Chinese plan to produce Marx: The Musical.

The idea it show how relevant Marx is today, as if we needed to be reminded. The musical is designed to brainwash the Chinese to blame the world's financial crisis on capitalism. There will be lots of singing and lots of dancing to raise the spirit of the ol' communist fart. They are already comparing it to a Broadway or Vegas show.

"We will bring (Marx's) economic theories to life in a trendy, interesting and educational play, which will be fun to watch," He Nian, the director said.

The musical will show how five office workers were taken advantage of by the evil owner of their company. So why the Chinese are attacking our way of life, I wonder how many innocent Chinese were threatened last summer during the perfect opening ceremony of the Olympics. You just know one major screw up and they were off to the firing line. Communism usually scares those into celebrating the state. Don't believe me? Do a Google search on Josef Stalin and purges.

So far this is only going to take place in China. If I were a betting man, I bet one of those slimy Hollywood libs would be willing to bring to stage in the United States, or worse, the big screen. For some reason, the Hollywood elitist think they would be given rights beyond those given in a Marxist state. They may find out sooner rather than later how wrong they are.

Hey Barney Frank, Opposing Gay Marriage Does Not Make Me a Homophobe

Yesterday’s comments by Barney Frank are insulting not only to Justice Antonin Scalia, but to the Constitution and many people who aren’t homophobes and understand the origins of the definition of marriage. From a Constitutional standpoint, Frank shows he sits in his seat as if he were a king and above the checks and balances which the Supreme Court provides to Congress. Consider Frank’s statement.

"I wouldn't want it to go to the United States Supreme Court now because that homophobe Antonin Scalia has too many votes on this current court," said Frank.

The opposition of gay marriage has its roots in the Biblical definition of marriage. Supporting that definition in no way says that those who oppose gay marriage hate homosexuals. I am clearly proof of that. I have worked and been friends with both lesbians and gay men, and I have treated them with the same respect that I give anyone else. Franks words are destructive. They place a label on people that simply isn’t true. Opposing gay marriage based on Biblical beliefs does not make one a homophobe, it simply puts the teachings of their religion before the gratification of man. Just because Scalia doesn’t subscribe to the core beliefs of Frank by no means makes him a homophobe, nor am I. Scalia's only comment on gay marriage is that the Constitution doesn't say either way whether it's right or wrong.

Pro-Choice Irresponsibility Led to Today's Stimulus and Bailout Psyche

What is an abortion? That’s not an easy question to answer because the word polarizes. Your are either on one side of the argument or you are on the other side of the argument, and there are different degrees to your support of either side. Let me try to define abortion in a way that describes the current stimulus and bailout psyche we see in America today.

 

Abortion is the immediate fix for a lack of responsibility (usually). Since 1973’s Roe V. Wade decision, America has adopted an immediate fix thinking. We don’t want to feel the pain of bad decisions, and we hope for euphoria each day of our lives. From an accidental pregnancy to removing the threat of our way of life, Americans have decided the short road is easier than the long road—the long road usually the best path in life. This fix-it-now attitude is leading to this another day another trillion dollars.

 

A trillion dollars is similar to an abortion in a couple of ways. They tell us it needs instant fix to spark and save the economy; yet, after months of a trillion here and a trillion there, the only thing that has sparked is tension around the world. Both the Russians and the Chinese have lost faith in the value in the American dollar and are looking for a new standard currency around the world to protect their interests. Printing money could lead to world crises unknown since World War II. Too many countries have a stake in the health of the American economy, and Obama’s leadership is upsetting many.

 

Like an abortion, we may soon find the United States we knew was aborted because of the need of a quick fix instead of making the tougher decision and allowing the recession to go through its full natural term. The bailouts, the stimulus, and all the rest of the plans designed to abort the recession by spending our way out of provides the same satisfaction of an abortion. At first, it seems like a simple plan to fix mistakes, but they never consider the long-term scars of quickly fixing their mistakes. Some women go their entire lives without considering what might have been, and some women never get over their decision. America will soon be wondering what may have been. There is no doubt we will pay for the carelessness in which our government has spent money in recent weeks. As we look back to 2009, will there be regret? Count on it. Will our country as we have known it survive? We would have been in far better position had we rode this one out instead of politicizing for political gain and then demanding instant fixes without looking down the long road.

 

The instant comfort, instant fix thinking is destroying our country. Life isn’t supposed to be easy, and there are times when you must feel the pain of your mistakes.

High Gas Prices Isn't Going to Help This Economy: Twenty Cents Increase at the Pump

Obama and the Democrats have made another Obamanomics blunder that will slow down spending during the coming months. In case you haven’t heard oil is quickly rising again, and the pumps are starting to show it. The pumps have seen a twenty cents per gallon increase in the last ten days, as the price in Southwest Missouri flirts with $2.00 a gallon. If Obama thinks he is going to establish consumer confidence to invest in the economy on the turn of a windmill without allowing drill here/drill now, he’s soon to find out it’s going to be a very long summer. Gas prices will battle any little bit of stimulus the pork-filled stimulus plan may produce. Obama better reconsider his oil policy if his plan is to save the economy. Considering the news coming out of the EPA yesterday, I have my doubts.

Carbon Dioxide One Step Closer to Being Declared Dangerous

Carbon Dioxide is essential for life on earth; yet the EPA moved one step closer to calling it a dangerous pollutant despite one of the coldest winters, a drop in average temperatures over the last few years, and many scientists running from man-made climate change. The movement will further hit a sick economy that Obama seems intent on making worse. Obama's budget depends on making CO2 dangerous to pass his billions in new green taxes, green taxes that will have a dire impact on American industries with taxes that will be passed on to American consumers when they buy cars, larger televisions, and energy.

The Office of Management and Budget received the CO2 report last week, and the White House acknowledged the report yesterday. More than likely, each American corporation will be given a strict limit on the amount of CO2 they produce before receiving fines and taxes. This not only means additional costs to the corporations, but they will also have to deal with the additional hassle of a government that has come to love the power it has over the corporations they have already illegally governed themselves over.

Yet, there is still with the billions of dollars the US Government plans to make from regulating CO2, which is the real green in the green argument, Democratic Representative Ed Markey (D-MA) thinks this "will officially end the era of denial on global warming." Does he really think that we are that dumb? Anytime the government digs in our pocket makes me even more skeptical about what they are trying to sell us. This era of denial is far from over and won't be over until Representative Markey stops denying global warming is politically motivated and the scientists who claim man-made global warming is politically motivated are heard and proven right.

Chinese Must Be Getting Nervous With All The US Dollars Obama is Printing

The United States owes China a lot of money--a lot of money. The value of the debt is being threatened by the more the United States prints. China must be more than nervous by the additional trillions Obama is pumping into the economy through the US Mint. China central bank is proposing the US Dollar be replaced as the international reserve currency with a new currency that would be controlled by the International Monetary Fund.

“This is a clear sign that China, as the largest holder of US dollar financial assets, is concerned about the potential inflationary risk of the US Federal Reserve printing money,” said Qu Hongbin, chief China economist for HSBC.

Considering the direction of the United States, you can't blame China for wanting to protect their interests, considering Obama's insistence to continue to print money is doing very little to protect the value of our savings here in the States and China's loans to the United States.

It was President Richard Nixon who removed the United States off the gold standard. The gold standard only allowed money to be printed that was back by the total amount of gold in the United States Treasury. Nixon promised the world there would be checks in place to prevent printing too much money, and until recently, even though leaving the gold standard was a bad idea, the United States managed to keep printing money in check.

The Chinese obviously know what we know. Too much currency in an economic system devalues the currency and causes inflation. It's a wonder they haven't suggested any stronger threats to keep Obama and Timothy Geithner in check, so they don't lose on the money they have invested to fund US Debt. This could be a major catastrophe waiting to happen if we continue down this road.

It's nice to know the power of free speech still works in America. Before my interview today with Dave Cantanese of KY3, the local NBC affiliate, he told me they anger across America for releasing the Modern Militia Movement Report. I think that's the power of the blogosphere. I am happy to be a part of this little win; although, we still have a huge fight ahead of us. They only apologized for the third-party candidate profiling. We must continue to put pressure on Governor Jay Nixon, and the direction he continues to take Missouri.
