Get Motivated at the 'Q'
I discovered yesterday my name was approved to go to a seminar on October 15 at the JQH Arena in Springfield, MO. I am very excited, because Terry Bradshaw is going to be there, and I think he is one of the funniest people alive. It’s not just Bradshaw that will be there. It’s an impressive list of speakers that are guaranteed to motivate and possibly share some life lessons which I could definitely apply to my life at this moment.
The business seminar includes what Zig Ziglar calls a dream team, and I can’t wait to listen to their lectures. I miss lectures like these since college. My last lecture I sat in on was the late Frank McCourt, who shared some great stories as one of America’s most celebrated educators.
The dream team includes General Colin Powell, Tamara Lowe, Dr. Earle Mindell, Terry Bradshaw, Suze Orman, as well as Ziglar, who I have been long familiar with from days as a sales rep in the dental industry. As much as I look forward to legendary quarterback Bradshaw’s sense of humor, I know Orman will have some wonderful lessons in finance, which I am in need of.
It should be a great event, and I am happy I have been chosen to go. I know there will be some great things to take out of this both from a personal and professional aspect. I am preparing to go back on the road with my new position in the marketing department, so there should be some good stuff in here. I am definitely going to share the lecture with my co-workers as well as my family.
