Senator Harry Reid Presents His Christmas List at a Las Vegas Chamber of Commmerce Luncheon

Nevada, there's a good lesson to be learned from some simple words Senator Harry Reid said at the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce luncheon last Wednesday. As Reid participated in the Meet and Greet photo with members of the Chamber, the last one in line was the advertising manager of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Bob Brown.
With unemployment hitting record levels in Nevada and obviously some bad press, Reid looked Brown in the eye and said, "I hope you go out of business." Then to avoid a potentially bad story, Reid later encouraged people to advertise in the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Two faced Harry is back at it.
With Senator Reid's power in Washington, he has obviously forgotten about the people of Nevada. It seems clear his focus isn't on the people who are unemployed, because he is actually hoping a place that operates and supplies jobs goes under. No, Reid is more worried about Obama and the Democrat's agenda rather than the people of Nevada.
Isn't that the theme of many politicians this year--especially those in the Democratic party. Let's forget who elected you. They don't matter once you get to Washington. I have seen that with Claire McCaskill in Missouri. So arrogant is she, she actually ask her voters if they trust her while she supports the interest of Barack Obama more than the red state of Missouri.
The Review-Journal is the largest newspaper in the state of Nevada. Obvious hundreds of Nevadans work there. It shows how much Reid has forgotten the people who placed him in office.
The sad thing is, the central federal government is acquiring so much power, that one day, papers like the Review-Journal who obviously opposes something Reid is doing, may just find themselves put out of business by a federal government that has forgot the limits of the Constitution. When you continue to give branches of the government power beyond the realm of the Constitution, it's a crisis many Americans will face for opposing the growing government and practicing their Constitutional rights. I have no doubts this is the type of power Reid and other politicians live for.

The picture pretty much says it all about what Reid thinks about Nevadians and anyone else for that matter.Remember his comment about tourists in Washington. Take it a little further and we all stink in his opinion.
ReplyDeleteGee, where was my mind. That's the ulimate proof of what Reid thinks of us. He was the first to complain about the smelly tourist of summer coming to visit what should be the people's buildings that house the people's government.
ReplyDeleteIf you believe in Karma, or Justice, you might think that Reid's cruel remark will turn back on him. Perhaps he will be "out of business" soon as a legislator.
ReplyDeleteHarry is now little more than a walking fleshy lump in Nevada. If you can, send a few bucks to his political opponents.
ReplyDeleteReid and the rest of them are nothing but the epitome of arrogance.
ReplyDeleteOne good thing that has come out of the town halls and meet & greets this summer, is that they have opened the eyes of constituents around the country as to the true allegiance of their elected officials. We can be thankful for that and we can show our displeasure at the polls.
The pictures says different and you teach a different lesson..
