"No voodoo in the White House. Absolutely. I don't care what you call it," screamed Obama

Here’s an Obama story of a different kind. Is Santeria being practiced in the White House?

According to Kristen Atkinson at Townhall.com, Marian Robinson, the 72-year-old mother of Michelle Obama is practicing the Caribbean version of voodoo known as Santeria. Atkinson writes that Robinson turned to Santeria when her husband came down with multiple sclerosis in the late 1980s to the disapproval of Michelle.

Michelle put her foot down when she heard that her mother took her dad to ceremonies where they did spells and trances, and sacrificed animals, chickens and goats I think. But Marian was desperate and kept going anyway, even when her husband was to sick to go with her. I don’t think the president knew anything about this earlier because it was before they met. Michelle and Craig (her brother) wanted to close the book on this and never talked about it again after their father died in 1991.

Most recently, Robinson was caught with a friend from Chicago in the White House, and Obama had a fit. “No voodoo in the White House. Absolutely. I don’t care what you call it,” he told his mother-in-law.

Of course the left is calling the latest scandal designed by the right to destroy Barack Obama, even though it actually shows Obama in a favorable light. Go figure! You aren't supposed to get along with your mother-in-law. What's the problem? Kind of makes you wonder if new carpet for the White House is part of the stimulus bill--just in case Grandma Robinson gets goat blood on the carpet. Of course, this could also explain why the voodoo medicine man image of Obama hit so close to home, I mean the White House.
