Censorship in Congress: Cap and Tax Denied by Democratic Run Franking Office
The Franking office is like the Postal Service for Congress. Congress gets to send mail to the constituents without postage. It’s called franking. As you guessed, the franking office is run by the Democrats.
Republican members are complaining that many of their newsletters and other materials are being censored. Congressman John Culberson reported his newsletter contained the words cap and tax. His newsletter was denied by the franking office, reminding you once again this office is run by Democrats. Culberson had to write seven drafts before his last newsletter the Franking office approved the newsletter. Other Republicans have reported the same.
A representative for the franking office claims the mail going through the franking office is not to be used for political advocacy. Oh really. I bet that has never been enforced for any piece of mail Nancy Pelosi has sent out.
So now we are finding out Democrats are so frustrated by the will of the people, the free speech, and the opposition over Obama’s agenda that they are going as far as censoring Republicans in Congress who are looking to communicate with their constituents. It really is amazing. Just ten months ago Democrats bragged the Republican party was dying, but with each passing day, it looks like it may be the Democrats who beat Republicans to the final breath and they are doing it by denying Constitutional freedoms.

The Democrats have a lot more experience in creatively denying human rights.
